Shelon “Hutch” Hutchinson started investing in real estate so he could have a passion project after retiring from the Marines, and he’s now helping other veterans do the same. Hutch is the owner and co-founder of H Squared Capital, a real estate investment firm that provides veterans with opportunities to invest in multifamily real estate syndications alongside high-net worth partners. Shelon “Hutch The Marine Investor” Hutchinson is a Master Sergeant (E-8) in the United States Marine Corps. Throughout his 21-year career, he has served in many leadership roles in Marine Corps aviation. He has been awarded several personal awards for his job performance. He has created and led teams of various sizes that performed effectively in training and combat operations. Hutch has successfully executed over $2.4 million in single-family real estate transactions which include over $870k as a real estate agent (currently not active) and over $11 million in multifamily property acquisition. Hutch recently co-sponsored the acquisition of a 55-unit portfolio in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and a 167-unit apartment complex in Augusta Georgia.
Hutch is a member of the Professional Investor Guild in Pensacola, Florida, and a member of the Michael Blank Deal Maker Mastermind. Hutch has a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
