(00:01):
Welcome to the Real Work from Home Jobs podcast by
alicia@workersonboard.com. Thank you so much for listening
today. In today's podcast episode, I
have a job for just about anybody in any category, whether
you're in school or maybe perhaps you stutter.
(00:23):
You don't want to talk on the phone.
You don't have the experience, you play video games, or you
would like to make money with your voice.
There's something for you. This podcast is all about
legitimate work from home, jobs from real companies, hiring
people to complete various job duties right from your computer,
(00:46):
laptop, and in even some cases just your phone.
You can also find other ways to make money from home in this
podcast, and please make sure that you tell others about it.
If you know they want to work from home or they want to work
remotely, they don't want to commute back and forth to work,
(01:07):
or they're looking for some additional income streams to
make money on the side, they canalso benefit from this podcast
as well. Now some of you all who have
listened to some of my episodes in the past have asked me a
question regarding your location.
So if you live outside the US, how can you get a job?
(01:31):
Well, one of the things that youcould do is go to
my.website@workersonboard.com and the reason why I say to do
that is because you may not knowwhat companies hire globally.
So that information is provided there for you and it's really
simple because all you have to do is go to Google or whatever
(01:52):
search browser that you use, type in workersonboard.com.
When you get to the page and it loads up, there should be a
search bar that you can go to and it'll be located right
beneath this resume. And then you can type in Global
Jobs, Worldwide Jobs and click on that icon right on the right
(02:14):
and then you will find a list ofcompanies that hire globally.
Right Off the top of my head, some companies that you could
try would be Transcom, Sutherland Global.
You can also try companies like Appen 1, Forma, Teamwork, dot A
(02:36):
I. Those are just a few that I can
think of, but there are many, many more to In order to get
access to those jobs, you can just come here like I said and
type in those keywords. You can also go to the weekly
job page and then you will find Global Work from Home jobs.
And then if you subscribe to my newsletter then I always include
(02:59):
worldwide work from home jobs that you can apply to there as
well as work from home jobs for those who live in the United
States as well. So if you live outside the US
there is work for you. There are companies that will
hire you to complete task and jobs wherever you live, no
matter where you live. In fact study.com is another one
(03:21):
that will do that too and they have non phone jobs.
Now I do want to encourage all of you all to follow me on my
Facebook page and that way you'll keep up to date with the
latest work at home news. And if you live outside the US
that I just made a post not too long ago and shared it on my
Facebook page about top 69 phonework from home jobs.
(03:45):
And some of them are global. So that would definitely be
something that you would probably want to look at if
you're trying to find companies that you can apply to if you
live outside the US. Also, you can join our group
Workers on board community that is the name of that Facebook
group and there you can get access to additional work from
(04:07):
home job leads every day. It will really benefit you and
accelerate your work from home journey.
If you want to know what my HomeOffice space or my workspace
just my desk station area looks like, please follow me on
Instagram. My handle is workers on board
(04:29):
official. I had an Instagram page with
just workers on port and somebody hacked into it and took
it over so I didn't even feel like bothering with it.
So I just created this one and this is the correct Instagram
page and then you can watch thisreel that I uploaded yesterday
(04:49):
where you can see my workspace and so just if you're curious
and want to know, you can check that out.
Also, if you all need a resume on Etsy, I have a couple a few
resumes that I've uploaded. The latest one is a resume for
those who are a little bit more skilled and maybe they're
(05:11):
looking for a more of a I guess I would say more more
professional job where they require a little bit more
experience. There is a fully editable
template resume template that you can purchase here and
download instantly. It's clean, it's a TS ready,
(05:35):
It's modern, but again, simple so that when the employer looks
over it, they won't have too many details that will clutter
up that resume and make it easy for them to read.
And then of course, when it's simplified, easier for them to
make a decision on who they're going to hire.
So I recommend that you pick that up.
(05:57):
You can also check out some other things I have here on my
shop. It's a job tracker.
One of the things that I think will really help you all to keep
track of the companies that you've applied to, companies
that you plan to apply to, any interviews you have coming up so
that you can stay organizing, you will miss out on any
opportunities, and then you can even send and thank you letter
(06:21):
after you've interviewed with the company.
That will definitely increase your chances of getting a job,
help the employer remember you. It can be very effective when
you send those out. And so you can check over some
of these templates as well as a book, an ebook where it contains
100 companies that hires people to work from home and some money
(06:42):
making sites. So please make sure you check
that out. So I'm going to start off with
some of the jobs first. I want to let you all know that
there's a company called Telus International that's looking for
media analysts to work from home.
This is a non phone job and theywant people to evaluate podcast,
(07:02):
movies, Siri, music, books and things like that.
And you're going to evaluate allthis content on the App Store
and you're going to make music and video judgments across those
domains. So this requires that you have
strong attention to detail, goodcommunication skills, you are
(07:24):
fluent in English, and that you have an e-mail address that is
associated with an Apple ID. And you must be familiar with
the App Store. So and then of course have an
interest in music and video. And if you do, and you're good
at research, you can apply to this position.
(07:46):
Again, this is a freelance job so pretty much you can work
whenever you want. It doesn't say how many hours
you're going to have to work or the pay, but if you're
interested in that please make sure you apply online.
It's an entry level non phone job that I think a lot of people
would probably enjoy. Probably simple to that you can
(08:09):
apply for online. Also there is a work from home
job for Voice over artist. It comes from a company called
Sport Sports Kita and they need people in the US and Canada to
voice over their YouTube content.
(08:30):
And so you're going to work on their team generating these
voice overs on short farm as well as long form videos for
Sports Kita. And this is going to be related
to Sports, NBA and NCAA basketball content.
(08:51):
And what they're looking for in their candidates is for you to
have at least one to three yearsvoice over or dubbing
experience. You have to have already in your
home recording equipment and it has to be high quality mic setup
and all of that. And then have at least one year
(09:13):
multiple audio editing software. And if you have all of that, of
course they're going to look at your portfolio to view your body
of work to make sure that you will be a good match for this
position. Please apply online and we're
again, they are hiring in the USand Canada and if that
(09:37):
particular job may not appeal toyou, they have a lot of other
jobs that you can apply to online.
And I just uploaded a video thatyou can watch here on YouTube
and from workersonboard.com and it's another job from that
company for video watchers. So make sure you watch that
(10:00):
video so they can get all the details and the information and
apply online. They have a lot of other jobs
available. A lot of these are for writers
and gaming writers, social mediaanchors and so forth.
Content trackers. So they have a lot of openings
right now and I recommend that you go ahead and apply before
(10:23):
some of these positions just getfilled.
Another job. They have a couple, at least two
or three I wanted to share with you.
Here comes from Teamwork dot a Iremember in the beginning I
talked about companies that hireglobally, well this is one of
those. It used to be called Isoft Stone
(10:43):
and then they changed the name to teamwork dot a I.
So they are similar to platformslike Pactera 1 forma data
annotation tech where you will go in and work and complete
these short non phone task and whenever you want according to
your own schedule. So it's pretty much kind of like
(11:05):
on a freelance basis. So they have this cool job I
want it or gig I want to say forkids that I wanted to share.
So if you're a parent of the kid, someone who's in school,
the school age child, then you may be interested in this
opportunity. And they want native English
speaking kids. They have to be between the ages
(11:28):
of 7 to 17 to record 50 phrases to help improve a voice assisted
device. And it only takes 15 minutes and
it pays $35. It's very, very short.
They're just going to read thosephrases probably through your
smartphone and then they'll submit it and then they get paid
(11:48):
$35 for that. So just a way for them to earn a
little bit of cash on the side, it will only take them just a
few minutes. Then there is a speech
collection project for those whostutter.
So this is an interesting job ifyou have.
(12:11):
If someone has told you before that you stutter or you have a
little difficulty in that regard, it's okay because you
can work and and complete this job for teamwork dot a I.
So they want you to record simple Voice Assistant prompts.
Now, you don't have to really make sure that you do it without
(12:34):
stuttering, because they obviously want you to be natural
when you're speaking and doing this.
And so it has to be your stutterhas to be mild, pronounced, or
severe. And so they want to to, you
know, speak like you, natural, like you would naturally and
complete this project. It's going to take you 2 to 3
(12:54):
hours to complete and you can doit in stages, not all at once.
And when you get finished with your recording you will be paid
$200.00. But you have to have an iPhone.
They are looking for native English speakers with a US
accent. It could be a southern accent,
(13:15):
maybe something on the West Coast, East Coast, northeastern,
central, Midwestern and B18 and have an iPhone.
Have a quiet place to record those props, and if you do, you
can apply online. They're still looking for people
to do this from home. Then they also have another job.
(13:39):
This is for an audio data collector.
It's interesting because you youdo have to have an Apple device,
either an iPhone or iPad, and then you're going to complete
recordings of home appliances that generate alarm sounds.
That could be a doorbell, microwave oven, toaster, washing
machine, coffee machine, and so forth.
(14:01):
So what you're going to do is record the alarm sound of those
home appliances in several positions.
You're going to do it far away and close up and then submit
that to them. When you submit 20 recordings,
they're going to get paid $25.00.
But if you do the complete the full project and do 10
(14:25):
appliances with 200 recordings, you're going to get paid $250.
Now those are not the only gigs they have available.
They also need search engine evaluators to work from home.
And this is a more longterm ongoing project where you will
evaluate Rep the web and their search results to make sure they
(14:48):
correspond to the pages and ads based on their guidelines.
So you're going to be working atleast 10 to 25 hours every
single week. They provide you with training
and you don't have to have any experience, but you do need
strong computer and communication skills and have
good time management skills. If you do, you can do this from
(15:11):
home. There are, like I said, other
jobs available, not just in the US but globally, but I wanted to
share that with you. Also, there is a job for
freelance writers now if you play video games that you are
gamer. There's a company called Gameris
that is looking for freelance writers and So what you're going
(15:36):
to do, they want you to be able to write about a variety of
video game topics and create game guides and SEO focused
articles. Excuse me, You're going to write
at least 25 articles per month. Make sure those articles are on
trend and up to date with all things gaming.
(15:57):
You will also pitch new article topics and you have to have one
to two years prior professional game writing experience.
They want you to have a deep knowledge of video games and be
excited and dedicated and be able to pivot when needed.
Now this job is going to requirefor you to send them a resume
(16:20):
and then you have to have one tothree years relevant writing
samples. If you don't have that, then you
need a portfolio. If you don't have those and you
don't have a writing sample, at least one writing sample will
not be considered. So they also want you to have a
cover letter, because that's going to explain your expertise
(16:45):
in these video games, and they want people who are
knowledgeable about Nintendo games and Destiny 2, Diablo Four
and Zelda some. If you have knowledge of that,
and they pay 16 to $90.00 per piece, that means per article.
And that depends the range, berries depending upon the
(17:07):
content type and length. So they have a lot of other jobs
available too, Not just for writers, but they have jobs that
you can do from your home for editors to as well that you can
apply to online and game guides.Lots of different things that
(17:28):
you can check out and apply to online.
And they don't just hire in the US, they also hire if you live
in the UK as well, so make sure you come here and check that out
and apply online now. You can find other work from
home jobs on the weekly job page.
I posted brand new work from home jobs for you all today that
(17:52):
you can apply to online. And then tomorrow I'm going to
post brand new work from home Jobs in the Friday freebie page
and send out a newsletter. Now if you're looking for a
typing job, there's some listed here.
There are work from home, jobs for those in the travel industry
and hospitality for fraud and fraud.
(18:14):
So many different kinds of jobs you can apply to.
They have some seasonal jobs here, jobs for editors, virtual
assistants, and so many so much more.
So make sure you come here and apply to these positions again.
If you need a resume, come to this shop and you can pick up a
template and then you. It's fully editable, so you can
(18:36):
go in and customize it accordingto your own skills, experience,
and personal information. So thank you all so much for
listening. Remember, if you have any
comments or questions, you can leave me a voice message and I
will reply to it in an upcoming episode.
