A Reading of James DiEugenio’s The End of The Sixties

James DiEugenio’s The End of The Sixties: The Destruction of an Era and Anna Luna, posted July 6, 2025, at jamesanthonydieugenio.substack.com, is important. I asked him if I could make this video. He said yes. At the end I say that America was fatally wounded by JFK’s assassination and died by the USA Patriot Act and the creation of the Department of Homeland Security after 9/11. America is ours to create, hopefully soon.

James DiEugenio is one of the most respected researchers and writers on the political assassinations of the 1960s. He has written or co-edited many books, including JFK REVISITED, the companion piece to Oliver Stone’s documentaries, JFK REVISITED: Through the Looking Glass and JFK: Destiny Betrayed, for which Jim wrote both screenplays.

His latest book, with four co-authors, is THE JFK ASSASSINATION CHOKEHOLDS That Inescapably Prove There was a Conspiracy. On April 1, 2025, he testified about the JFK assassination to Congress (with Oliver Stone and writer Jefferson Morley).

Jim is the editor and publisher of KennedysandKing.com, which seeks to present “the best research concerning the political assassinations of the 1960s and their historical context.” And he posts at jamesanthonydieugenio.substack.com.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
