I mean, here's what's so weird about this story is
that it's an action story,number one.
There is comedy, but it's moreaction and the art's amazing.
The manga art's amazing.
The first season's amazing.

They pick it up and they dobetter, but the fighting is
really great, which is weirdbecause he does only really use

one punch most of the time.
Um, but the way that they getit's weird.
They don't really explain thatwell, the way you get powers.
This universe is kind of likedifferent for him.
He used to have hair.
He was kind of a losersalaryman type character.
A crab villain attacked the kidand he got in the way and saved

And then somewhere along theway he started doing a hundred

push-ups, a hundred pull-ups,running I don't know it was 10
miles, whatever it was.
And then because someone he'sfinally, how did you get this
strong?
So he tells them they thinkhe's trolling them.
That's what's so funny, buthe's really not, tro.

when he was fighting.

And now it's he's so strongthat he's like bored and he's

But the funny thing about it isthat all his feats that he's
done, no one has seen it thatit's been him.
So this guy, king, who has,he's a loser.
He got no power.
Everyone thought he.
They saw him at one of thethings and thought, oh, it's him
, he's the guy who's beating him.
So everything he's ever done,king is the s ranked hero, the
strongest human on earth, oh no.

So this dude has all of theaccolades that that one punch
man should have side, so muchyou'd have.
So then he finally goes to getlike ranked like they, you know,
judge the power, and he breaksit and they're like, oh, it must
have malfunctioned.
So he's ranked like c orsomething.
It's the funniest thing in theworld, but meanwhile king is is

ranked one.
So, like, the funny thing withking is they call it the king
engine and it's his heart that'sgoing so fast because he's
scared to death that he's goingto die.
And King, I don't know if he'slike luck incarnate, but he
always works out and he alwaysgets away with it and he's fine
and that's like the whole thing.
So it's really a funny show,but the action is actually
really good, which is what's soweird about it, because it's

But all the characters aroundhim are like super interesting

Genos wants him to train him.

The ai can do it better andquicker than we can and this

get to a point where they'reusing it for action and talking

So the japanese government,they're coming up with new
initiatives to expand anime'sreach.
Well, what are we talking about?
Because anime has already got apretty big reach, right, it's
worldwide.
Um, what the japanesegovernment is talking about

doing is they've created thislike focus group.
See what, how they can pushcultural affairs.
But what they're trying to dois how do they push this into
you, like, how do you make mangadrawing and you know anime
production?
Um, a university like I don'tknow, not certificate, whatever

you call it, degree, right, likehow do you make a degree
program right?

there's a lame degree , but anime be would be cool.

No, absolutely, absolutely lame degrees and

For me, the only reason Ireally picked this article is
because the name of the agencyright is the Agency for Cultural
Affairs, which I'm sorry if youhave watched any amount of like
slice of life anime in the pastcouple of years.

There was this anime severalyears ago that came out and it
was called midnight occult civilservants and as soon as I heard
that name agency for culturalaffairs I was like what are they
doing?
Are they helping thesupernatural beings at nighttime

Right now it sounds like yeah, a cover absolutely
yeah, it's a secret cover for agovernment agency, and that's
what I really think it is.

I mean they need to because, right, we've discussed
it enough times Like the wholeindustry is overworked and tired

So there's a big controversyright now with this last one, um
, because there's an AI and thedirector of it was kind of
getting roasted a little bit onquestions about it and he was
defending the AI of using AI.
Um, the series is called twins.
You know Hema, I don't knowwhat it's about about um, but
they use ai like crazy in itapparently.

And um, you know the, thedirector, he's getting kind of
pushed on it and he's defendingit, saying, well, I'm not saying
their ai should direct it oranything like that, but by using
ai and I don't know the logicof where he's going with it.
But he keeps saying that whywaste animators on pointless
scenes like walking and thingslike that?
The ai can do it better andquicker than we can and this

will free up more jobs foranimators.
But I feel like you know, okay,maybe using it for those in
between scenes is fine, whatever, but that's going to eventually
get to a point where they'reusing it for action and talking
scenes and background scenes andsunsets and on and on.
I don't know how it helps jobsand how.

How quickly see there's any.
With anything with ai, there'salways a little bit of altruism,
you know, mixed in for theinitial people that bring it up
they're like, oh yeah, this isgonna make those lives easier.
But here's the thing.
Um sure, it might make theguy's life easier that doesn't
want to animate somebody walking, but let's face it, how far

away are we from saying, hey,we'll introduce this thing so
you don't have to animate theseboring scenes?
To how far are we away fromthat, going live to the point
where they say, well, now I canpay you less because you're not
animating as many scenes orright there some variation of
you deserve less money becauseyou're not doing all

the animation yeah, it's knocking on the door and
apparent.
So here's the other part aboutit.
This series says 95 of it is aianimating.
So it's like you're not reallyusing the 95%.
It's not 10, 15, 95% of yourshow is animated like this.

So I looked at it and I waslike this doesn't look like
anything I would actually watchanyways, but I might have to
check this out just to see is itany good, like the animation,

some really dope stuff, butlet's face it, bro, animation
can't do hands like that is oneof the most basic things in the

What's actually going to happenis that somebody that knows how

replace you that does know howto do that, but AI straight up
isn't going to.

Yes, chatbots will get better.
Yes, the AI animation will getbetter.
I'm assuming they willeventually learn how to do hands

It's off of human trained data.
