In this week's episode I talk with one of my good friends, Jess mama of 2, about getting her son diagnosed for autism. She shares all about the things she noticed that ended up leading her down the path to get a diagnosis and the struggles that came with that. She has learned a lot in the process and is now sharing her experience with others in hopes to shine a light on autism and how even though it is defined as a disorder, it does not mean there is anything wrong with your child. We also talk about how people in general can be more supportive of not just those with a disorder, but with the parents and caretakers as well.
