Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to the Receptive Impact Podcast.
I'm your host, nina Elise.
Hello everyone, it is Nina andI am back for a fresh new
episode and we are going to talkabout human design.
So if anyone is familiar withmy work or knows me, you know
that I have been deep into humandesign for the last four plus

(00:25):
years and it is a system or atool that has greatly, greatly
impacted my life.
It is something that I use withmy clients, it is something
that I use when I interact withmy coworkers and my family
members and my friends, and ithas been so helpful for me to
expand my own self-awareness.
And so today I'm going to sharemore about human design and I'm

(00:50):
going to give a little bit of abackground about what exactly
it is and how I personally haveused it as a system and as a
guide, and how I found it, andjust my whole experience and
experimentation with it and howI use it in order to interact
and work with different peopleand with my clients.
I really wanted to do thisepisode on human design from the

(01:11):
start of my podcast, but itjust didn't feel right for some
reason.
Whenever I tried to record thepodcast, it just ended up being
like this huge disaster and Ijust kind of just set it aside
and I was like I'm going to diveinto this later.
And I feel like there is areason for that, and part of
that is because as you go intoyour experiment with human

(01:33):
design and the more that you useit in your life, your
perception of it starts to shiftand change and how you interact
with that system it changes.
And so I feel like the past sixmonths or so, or however long
I've had my podcast up, a lothas shifted and changed in the
way that I view the world andhow I actually use the system
with myself and with my clients, and so I feel like I am going

(01:58):
to be able to give you guys amuch more broader perspective
and a more enriched way of howto work with human design as a
system.
And I recently presented at anevent the other weekend and I
had so much fun talking about itand I was like I could talk
about this for the next 10 hoursand I really just kind of

(02:21):
forgot how much I really lovetalking about all things human
design.
And it's something that I stillshare on my social media on
Instagram, and I do human designvideos, but more specifically
to my type, which I'll go into alittle bit more in depth in
this podcast, and the way that Iuse human design or share it is

(02:42):
more sharing my experiences.
So it's not like this is how itis and this is how you need to
use it.
It's more experientialknowledge or wisdom that I share
, based on my own experiences, and so there are different ways
that a person can share or usethis system, and that is
personally how I have used it.

(03:03):
So, for those who aremanifesters, you are the lucky
ones that get to benefit from mesharing and working with the
system more specifically to thattype.
So, just to begin with, humandesign I'm just going to give
you this breakdown of whatexactly it is and where it came

(03:24):
from and how you can personallyuse it.
So human design is a systemthat combines the Aicheng
astrology, the Kabbalah tree, the Hindu Brahman chakra system
and quantum physics to basicallycreate this unique blueprint or
body graph for each person, based on their exact birth date,

(03:48):
time and location of birth, andso it's this huge mashup of all
of these ancient systems thathave been around for years and
years and years and all combinedinto one, and the depth of this
system is incredible, like youcould study a sliver of it and
not even go that deep into itand explore it for the rest of

(04:09):
your life.
And so there's just so muchthat you can go in and
experiment with and play withthis system.
And a lot of people approachhuman design as more of a
surfacing thing where you learnthe basics, and even that is
helpful.
So it's again something thatyou can use very simply, or it
can be something that you reallyconnect with and you dive very,

(04:30):
very deep into, and there's noright or wrong with any of that.
It's just more of you know whatare those things that you
connect with and how do you wantto work with this.
I like sharing the wholebackground around human design
because it's very mystical.
It's really amazing, incrediblehow everything connects with
all of the different systems, because you know, with the

(04:52):
iChing you have those 64 gatesand codons that match up with
the gates in human design, andso there's similarities and
pairings between these differentsystems.
And then you have the shockersystem that is paired with the
centers that are in the humandesign system, and so I'll go a
little bit more in depth in that.

(05:12):
So I really like to think of thehuman design body graph as like
this map of ourselves that wecan really explore for our
entire lives.
So it's kind of like thisguidance system and it provides
an in-depth look at who we trulyare so the conscious and the
unconscious aspects and itreally gives tools to remove

(05:34):
conditioned parts of ourselvesso that we can find the unique
diamond of who we really areunderneath.
So it's just it brings thisexpanded self-awareness that you
can look at and start to lookat things within yourself and
say where have I beenconditioned by my external
environment or those externalauthorities like my parents or

(05:54):
my teachers or my friends or thegovernment or things like that?
And it brings you back to yourown internal guidance system,
your strategy and your authorityto live a life.
That is from a place ofsovereignty, versus allowing
other people and external thingsto constantly dictate you.
And so I really like humandesign from that perspective

(06:18):
because it's very empowering.
It's basically you get to hangout with yourself and learn
about yourself deeper and deeperand deeper the more that you go
into the system and work withit, and for me the process has
honestly been like becoming myown best friend, which is like
really incredible, because whenyou learn about your design,
it's like it's you know, it'slike this blueprint, and it

(06:39):
gives you permission to acceptparts of yourself that you may
have suppressed your entire life, like these skills and these
gifts, because we thought we hadto be in this box and we had to
live a certain way, and ithelps us to discover and
experience very deep inner peaceand self-love in a lot of ways.

(07:00):
And what I really like abouthuman design is that it's not
here to tell you what to do oreven what to believe.
It's here to show you how to bethe most aligned version of
yourself by bringing yourselfback to you and your body in
that internal guidance systemthrough your strategy and your
authority, stepping into andreally owning aspects of

(07:23):
yourself, the good and the bad, which really aren't like.
I don't really like to labelanything as good or bad, but
from like a societal standpoint,we might say, well, this is
like a really beautiful gift.
And then here's like the shadowaspect of something where we
might be acting out of alignmentwith who we are, out of
alignment from a place of love.
That's one thing I also reallyappreciate about human design,

(07:45):
because there is so much shadowwork that is wrapped up in the
system that you get to becomeaware of, because it's not just
you know you're learning about.
You know your centers and yourshadow junior authority you're
learning about.
Oh, I do this thing, and this isbecause I'm taking on the
conditioning from this person inmy open heart center and I'm

(08:06):
trying to prove something.
And so you get to dive deeperinto that if you have the
courage to be honest withyourself about these
potentialities and own themwithin yourself and be the
observer and and contemplate andsit with this and say where may
I be playing this out in mylife?
And so a lot of this process ofdiving into your human design

(08:27):
is really just like peeling backlayers and really getting to
know yourself and saying how canI use this as like a map to
play around with and experimentwith and say does this resonate
with me or does this notresonate with me?
And that is where you learn totake back your sovereignty and
your power to say this is a lifethat is in alignment for me and

(08:49):
with me.
And so that is the way that Ihave really approached human
design.
I think that human design canbecome this religion or this
ideology or this new beliefsystem.
And again, not a bad thing, because I truly believe as
consciousness, we come down intothese, this 3D reality, into
these bodies, and we're here toexperience an infinite amount of

(09:11):
things and ways of living andbeing, and maybe one of those
things is to be hardcore intoreligion or hardcore into human
design or hardcore into whateversystem.
I don't believe that there'sany right or wrong way to live
your life.
So this is how I've reallyapproached human design is
saying, okay, you know, if Iwere to live my life to a T, to

(09:35):
human design, then that would bean experience that I could have
.
And then I sit with that on mybody and say, okay, how does
this feel for me?
And I don't want to say likethis is the end, all be all,
because I don't feel like humandesign is like that at all.
I think there is a lot of truthto human design and you can
take what you need from it.
And for me personally, I willmost likely use human design for

(09:57):
the rest of my life and I willcontinue to experiment and go
deeper with it when I feelcalled to, and it is one of
those things that you can go towhen you're feeling lost or you
need a little direction oryou're feeling disconnected from
yourself.
And you get to.
You're basically handed this, this chart or this blueprint
that says, okay, here are likethese potentialities of who you

(10:19):
could be and hear like theamazing skills that you came
here, that you were justnaturally good at, and this is
how this archetype that couldpotentially be playing out with
other people and how you show upin the world.
And this is your, your purpose, and how might this be playing
out?
Where might you be preventingyourself?
And where the shadows are, where is the the, not self or

(10:40):
the mind trying to prevent youfrom really stepping into that,
because the mind is trying tocontrol everything.
So it really is a system thatcan be very deeply explored.
But I'm also very, very mindfulwhen I speak about human design
and share this with my clients, because I say this is a tool
just like anything else.

(11:01):
Whether it is you're readingthe Bible or you're learning
about Jean Keys or the Enneagramor whatever like.
Anytime you go deeply into asystem, it is there to provide
support for you, to help you toremember who you are and anytime
there is a system that saysthis is it and anything else
that is not in alignment with itis not the truth.

(11:23):
Like, I tend to run far awayfrom that because I feel like
that is very limiting and it'snot coming from a loving place
and you know that is thatperson's truth and that is OK.
But if you do not resonate withit and it is not your truth,
then you know you don't have toaccept that.
So, like I said, working withhuman design, it can be just

(11:45):
another ideology or beliefsystem that you take on, that
you can attach yourself to andit can become a foundation for
you and, again, not a bad thing.
But for me personally, it isagain a tool that can be very
moldable and played around withand you get to be the one that
gets to experiment with that, tobring this back into your body

(12:06):
and say what is coming up for me, how can I tap into what is my
truth, and for me that is howhuman design has been, this
empowering system, to bring meback to my own internal guidance
system.
So, with all of that being said,I'm going to give this basic
overview of human design andkind of like just the basics of

(12:29):
when you're first starting outthat you really want to get a
grasp or understand about.
So I'll go through thedifferent things.
So I'll go through thedifferent types of human design
and the centers and yourstrategy authority, and so those
are kind of like the main bigthings If you're first learning
about human design.
That I would recommendexploring.
If you want to go a little bitmore in depth, I have a free

(12:53):
chart that you can download onmy website.
It's a report so there's like45 pages or more, depending on
your design, and it's uniquelycatered to what your human
design is.
So you'll get that customreport for free.
So if you go to my website atNina dash Elise dot com, you can
see there's a link at the topof my website called the big

(13:15):
leap and if you click on thatand you just fill your
information out through there, through that process, then you
will get that free report.
So after this podcast, if youwant to go more in depth, I
highly recommend going there aslike the next step to exploring
and integrating that information.
But for the purpose of thispodcast, if you want to go to my
website at Nina dash Elise dotcom.

(13:36):
If you're not familiar withhuman design or you don't know
your design, that first landingpage that you show up, that
shows up on my website you caninput all of your birth dates
and time and location.
Then you will see your type andyour strategy and your
authority and look at thecenters within your chart.
And if you don't know yourexact birth time, that's a

(14:01):
little bit trickier because, depending on how much the chart
could change throughout the day,you might be a different type
or a different authority.
So, with that being said, ifyou are struggling with not
knowing what your exact birthtime is, feel free to email me
and I can send over someresources to help you or figure

(14:23):
out what might be thepossibility for your chart.
And the reason why you needyour exact birth time is because
, like, even down to the second, different things about your
charts can change and so that'swhy it's so important to have
the exact time.
So, if you're not sure, againemail me at hello at Nina dash

(14:43):
Elise dot com.
I'm happy to help you out withthat.
If you go and put in your likea guest time, then you can
follow along with this and see,oh, I resonate more with this
type or this strategy orauthority and that you might be
able to say, okay, this is whereI feel like it lands more for
me.
So, with all of that being said, I'm going to go into what

(15:07):
exactly is human design in alittle bit deeper level than
what I just shared about thebackground of it.
So, with human design, when youput in your exact birth date and
time, you have four differenttypes that could show up, that
you could potentially be.
So you have the generators andthe manifesting generators.
So this is just one type is thegenerator.

(15:28):
So you have the pure generatorand the manifesting generator,
and the generators make up about70% of the population and they
have a defined sacral center intheir chart.
They have this life force, energy that is here to really
like, take action, and here tojust respond to life, and it's

(15:49):
very powerful.
It's like this motor that isconstantly running in the
generators.
So, yeah, they're about 70% ofthe population.
And then, next up, we have ourprojectors, which are about 20,
21% of the population, and theyare here to guide and they are
basically masters of managingenergy efficiently.
So they are ideal leaders andthey're here to provide really

(16:12):
deep wisdom for all the otherother types, especially the
generators, and that issomething to do with the way the
background energy is shiftingin 2027.
I'm not gonna go into anyadditional detail with that, but
basically, like, the projectorsare really stepping up in a
much bigger role to help guidethe energy of the generators in

(16:35):
the coming years, which isreally beautiful.
And then we have ourmanifestors, and they are about
eight or 9% of the population.
From what I understand, thereis gonna be a huge increase in
manifestors in the next like 10,15 years or so.
And so, basically, manifestorsI am a manifestor myself we're

(16:55):
here to initiate.
We are the only type that hasthe correct and natural ability
to get things started.
So we're here to make an impacton the world.
We're here to initiate andbirth new things into the world.
So very, very powerful based on,like, our aura and what we're
here to do, and we're notnecessarily like a huge part of

(17:19):
the way society is set up.
Today, the way society is setup is very much like a generator
run world and again, this isnot a bad thing, but for
manifestors it can feel like youknow where do we fit in?
We don't really do well with anine to five job.
We're kind of like these lonewolves that wanna go off and
kind of do our own thing, and soit can be very challenging to

(17:39):
find our place in the world.
And then, because our aura isclosed off and repelling, that
can cause a lot of resistance orrejection.
And so I'm not gonna go toomuch into detail of that, but
I'm just sharing, because eachof our types, like we, have our
own stuff to deal with and theway that we are able to operate
in this world.
And it can be very challengingfor our non-energy types, like

(18:03):
our projectors and ourmanifestors, because we don't
have that sacral energy andwe're not meant to necessarily
work on this plan schedule.
We're here to guide or we'rehere to initiate in our own
timing and in our own place, andso it can be kind of confusing
to be operating in this worldand trying to fit in from that
perspective.
And then, lastly, the fourthtype is the reflector.

(18:26):
So you have the reflector, which is about 1% of the
population, and they are veryopen and very receptive.
So if you're looking at a bodygraph, they're gonna have all of
their centers open.
All of the centers are going tobe white.
So they're basically like thesechameleons and they're here to
reflect back the health of thecommunity and the environment.
They're a very rare type.

(18:46):
They're really incredible andinteresting people to be around,
just constantly reflecting back, and so it's always interesting
to be around a reflector.
The interactions and the peoplethat I have been around that I
know that are reflectors.
I've always had reallybeautiful, incredible
experiences around them and Ireally enjoy being in their

(19:06):
presence.
So I'm gonna go into the centersof the body graph.
So, like I mentioned thecenters, they are based on a
nine centered chart or ninecentered like shocker system.
So you have the seven centeredshocker system and, with human
design, we have basicallyevolved into a nine centered

(19:28):
system.
And so when you look at thebody graph, you're going to see
nine centers that are inalignment with the shocker
system.
However, there's going to betwo additional centers, which
are the G center and the spleen, and so the G center is all
about identity and love anddirection, and then you have the
spleen, which is a very primalcenter.

(19:50):
It's all about intuition andit's just a very primal center.
And so those are thedifferences from outside of
what's presented in an actualseven shocker system but pretty
much very similar, the sameenergies that are expressed in
all of those seven centeredsystems.
And when you go through thechart, you might be looking at

(20:13):
your chart and you're like, whyare some colored in?
Why are some white?
The ones that are colored in,those are aspects of your chart.
That is the energy that you arehere to bring.
It is a very consistent energythat you bring to the table, to
when you're interacting withother people, and the centers
that are white or open, thoseare the centers where you're

(20:33):
taking in information.
You're here to gain wisdom inthis lifetime.
You can take on other energiesand themes from other people
when you are around them andthey have that defined center
and yours is undefined or open.
And so this is a huge learningexperience to really get to know
who you are, what your definedcenters are, what those energies
are, so that when you arearound other people who have

(20:58):
those defined centers where youare undefined, you know when you
are picking up and taking onother people's energies.
And that is where you get tolearn in this game of life.
And so it can be a veryhumbling experience, especially
when you're picking up otherpeople's emotions or their
thoughts or their fears, orfeeling pressure from other

(21:18):
people, or picking up sacredenergy that you don't have and
you're amplifying that and youdon't know when enough is enough
.
And that's where you get alittle bit more into like that
shadow work and really steppinginto your sovereignty and
learning how to listen to yourstrategy in your authority.
And so, with that being said, outside of the centers, I'm

(21:39):
going to tell you a little bitmore about strategy and
authority.
So these are two very bigaspects of human design.
To start off, the strategy isbasically all about how you move
through life.
So think of using your strategylike a guide and it's just
aligning you with that correctenvironment and the people for

(22:00):
you, and it's one of the moreimportant human design concepts
to experiment with.
So if you're not aligned withyour strategy, you could miss
people or places andopportunities intended for you,
or you could commit to thingsthat are maybe not correct or in
alignment for you.
So each type has a uniquestrategy based on their aura and

(22:21):
that offers guidance for howone might evaluate whether
something is right for them ornot.
So your strategy is going tooffer like this.
It's like this practical tooldesigned to guide your
decision-making process andhelps you act in accordance with
your nature.
So each of the types has adifferent strategy.
So with the generator, you havethe strategy of wait to respond.

(22:43):
So generators are just here torespond to life.
They have a very open andinviting aura and they're here
to constantly be responding tothings.
Then you have your projectorsand their strategies to wait for
the invitation.
They are the guides.
They have this very penetratingaura that can see very deeply
into people and they know how toguide that energy.
I kind of sometimes viewprojectors as like the Buddha's

(23:06):
on the rock.
They're there, they have thatdeep wisdom and that natural
ability and when they are doingtheir own thing, people will be
attracted to that aura and theywill come and invite the
projector in to share theirwisdom, to share what it is that
they need to share with theother person.
Then you have your manifestor, and manifestors are here to

(23:28):
inform, because manifestors arehere to initiate and have a
really big impact on the world.
The manifestors we need tocommunicate.
We need to tell other peoplewhat we're doing, because when
we get urges to bring newnessand birth these new ideas into
the world, we initially want toreact and we want to just go

(23:51):
full on and execute and initiatewhatever that urge is.
However, we can get intotrouble in the sense that other
people are around us and wedon't necessarily know what the
heck it means to inform, becauseother people are wondering what
we're doing and they can causeresistance to us.
When we begin to inform otherpeople who are going to be

(24:15):
impacted by our decisions andbringing this idea into the
world, it's going to reduce theresistance from other people and
it's going to possibly evenhave those people say how can I
support you?
Informing is basically justsaying hey, this is what I'm
doing, take it or leave it, butyou need to know this because

(24:35):
it's going to impact you in someway, whether it's directly or
indirectly.
It's not about asking forpermission when you are
informing.
It is simply communicating, andsometimes over communicating,
so that other people know thatwe are up to, because our energy
is so big and so impactful thatwhen we do not inform or share
what's going on in our own worldthat we're constantly living in

(24:59):
, it can impact other people andthey can say what the heck is
going on.
It's going to be that much morepowerful when we use our
defined throat center in orderto communicate what it is that
we are bringing into the world.
Then you have your reflectors.
Their strategy is to wait afull lunar cycle, so waiting
about 28 days or so, to see howthe planets shifting and

(25:21):
changing the transits affectthem, and then they can make a
decision based off of that.
The reflectors are a little bitdifferent than all the other
types.
That is the strategy and whatthat means for each different
type.
So I'm going to go into theauthority.
The actual authority isprobably the biggest thing that

(25:44):
you are going to learn withhuman design.
That is going to make the mostimpact for you when you learn
about an authority.
There's several different types.
The one that is the mostpopular is the emotional
authority, and I'll go a littlebit more in depth into this.
Usually, an authority is allabout who you listen to, and

(26:05):
it's intended to align you withyour inner guidance system, and
we're all familiar with varioustypes of outer authorities, so,
like our parents, our teachers, public and political figures and
anything that is external to us, so human design is actually
about awakening to the inherentauthority that resides within us
.
So the inner authority is aboutbecoming aware of the decision

(26:28):
making process which bestsupports your strategy and
further aligns you with yourunique nature.
So when you follow your innerauthority, you can remove that
mental pressure to be certain orclear about what is correct for
you and this allows you to findalignment based on your unique
energy.
So the different types ofauthorities are the solar plexus

(26:49):
, so finding clarity aftermoving through your emotional
waves, your sacral authority, and that's like a gut feeling, a
yes or no response.
You have your splenic authority, which is intuition or truth in
the now.
You have your ego or heartauthority, which is all about
willpower and desires.
You have your self projected orG center authority, which is

(27:11):
self satisfaction or happiness.
And you have environmental ormental authority, and that is
when one hears their own voiceand is feeling very relaxed and
settled to find that clarity.
And then, lastly, you have thereflector authority, which is
again waiting those 28 daysbefore you can make a decision.
So those are kind of like thebasics.

(27:32):
I could seriously do like a fivehour podcast, just diving
deeper into more of this.
But, like I said, if you wantto go more in depth and learn
more about your strategy andauthority and your type, you can
go to my website and downloadthat report from the big leap
link in my profile.
So that is the basics of humandesign.

(27:53):
I kind of shared exactly likehow I got into it and how I view
and how I use it, and I'll giveyou like a brief example of my
experience and experimentationwith it and just so you can kind
of see how I play around withthis system and how I've used it
and how it has radicallyshifted and changed my life.

(28:14):
So I discovered human design, orrather someone brought it to me
over four years ago and I wasat a plant medicine ceremony and
someone was like you need tolook at the human design stuff.
And I was like whatever, likeI'm not interested in this.
Because I looked it up and itwas like, oh, I'm a manifester
and I was like I've nevermanifested anything in my life
and that's not really what beinga manifestor means.

(28:35):
But at the time I was like thisis complicated, because when
you look at your human designchart you're like what the heck
am I looking at?
There's so much that goes intoit and you honestly really need
a reading with somebody toreally understand what you're
looking at with your chart, andso it took me a couple of months
before I really went back andlooked at the system and was

(28:56):
like, okay, there's actuallysomething with this.
And so I got a reading and Ijust remember sitting there like
in shock and just crying inthat first reading because it
was like the first time in mylife I felt seen, I felt like I
was given permission to acceptparts of myself that I had
suppressed for so long, and itgave me this label of how I

(29:18):
could make sense of how peoplecommunicate.
Because when you think abouthuman design, to me it's very
mechanical.
You have your chart.
These are the underlyingconscious and unconscious
aspects of your chart, and whenyou interact with another person
, you're interacting with partsof their chart, and so it's just
the mechanics of whether youare attracted to somebody or

(29:38):
repelled by somebody, and humandesign just basically gave
language to how I cancommunicate with other people,
how I can learn about myself andexpand my self awareness, and
so it was very profound in thataspect, and so I just dove
straight into human design andit was so helpful for my
relationship at the time the waythat I interacted with other

(29:59):
people, and I just could not getenough of it and I began to
play around with, like, oh okay,my entire life I was acting
like a generator.
Well, my chart is saying I'm amanifester, and so what does
that mean if I play around andI'm not responding to things and
I start to not burn myself outand take too much on because I
don't have that sacral energy, and I actually come to a place

(30:22):
of emotional clarity and learnhow to work with my strategy and
authority as an emotionalauthority and not rush into
decisions and start to come backto myself and see, you know
what decisions have I beenmaking that are not in alignment
for me?
How am I going to live my lifedifferently if I'm not working

(30:42):
12 hour days and then goingworking out at the gym after and
not having energy and not beingable to be in that space where
I have the energy to actuallyexecute any urges that come
through me?
And so it was very enlighteningfor me to really explore and
see how out of alignment I was.
And again, there's no judgmentat all towards any of this.

(31:05):
You know I was raised by twogenerators, so actually I have.
There were three generators inmy family my dad, my mom and my
brother and then my sister and Iwere manifesters, and so you
can imagine, like all of thatconditioning to say you need to
live this life in this way andI'm picking up energy, the
sacral energy and all theseother energies from all of these

(31:25):
people in my family and I'mconstantly being conditioned by
it and I didn't really know whoI was, or just was so out of
alignment with myself.
And so when you enter into humandesign, they call it the human
design experiment, where you goin and you're actively
deconditioning all these partsoutside of yourself.
And so to me it's not justhuman design when you go into

(31:49):
the deconditioning journey.
For me personally it has beenlike realizing that there are
deeper layers of trauma andbelief systems and emotions that
are stored in the body, and sothose are other layers that can
be addressed through differenttools like somatic therapy and
working with your limitingbelief systems and doing AFT
tapping and all these othertools that I personally have

(32:12):
used in my own path.
But human design is veryincredible because it can show
you where that conditioning is,and so it's is a lot of watching
a train wreck.
It's like the best way that Icould explain it is because
you're like, oh my gosh, if I'mthis type and I have been living

(32:33):
my life this way, as agenerator, my whole life, or
projector or whatever, and yourealize like, holy crap, this is
not really who I am.
And it's not about jumping fromone identity to another.
Although it can become that ifyou are not aware, it is
something that you can becomeaware of and say, okay, like, if
I'm not a generator and I'm amanifestor, what would it mean

(32:56):
if I actually changed this aboutmy life?
How does that feel in my body?
What is my emotional wave whenI have clarity saying about
making this decision, does thisfeel right or does this feel
wrong?
And so the whole systembasically guides you back to
yourself, to step into yoursovereignty, to empower you to
learn how to say this is what iscorrect for me, this is what my

(33:16):
body is telling me, it isleading me, even though my mind
is saying what the heck are youdoing?
This doesn't make sense, because it has been so heavily
programmed and conditioned bythe external environment, our
whole lives.
And so the last four years, forme personally, have been just
kind of scraping off thoselayers of conditioning and doing

(33:37):
all this, this deeper work, because realizing I was like,
wow, I really don't know myselfand I have been living my life
doing all these things.
No wonder I was unhappy, nowonder I was dissatisfied.
And Human Design gave me thelanguage in order to basically
explain why I felt the way thatI did, and it was very
empowering and it gave me morefreedom in my life to explore

(34:02):
something outside of, like thisis where I'm at, but I don't
know how to change Human Design.
It was like another step oragain like this blueprint that I
was able to reference and say,oh, it was saying I'm supposed
to like have you know thisspecific channel or this
specific thing about my chart?
And it's actually reallyamazing skill that I came here
to share with the world andthat's actually something that I

(34:25):
was suppressing my entire life.
So it gives you permission toexplore potentialities that
reside and live within you, andso that's what I really love
about Human Design, because it'salmost like this stepping stone
to break you out of the boxthat you are in and help you
step into a more empowering box.
And I personally believe thatHuman Design can be a stepping

(34:49):
stone because if we are a sourceor God, you know, and we're
experiencing life in this 3Dreality, in these almost like
limited bodies, there are goingto be tools that show up along
the way, that empower us to stepout of our current boxes, and
that limiting thinking to helpus remember that we are limited
beings, and so Human Design canbe that for you, it can be one

(35:12):
of those tools.
So, just like anything in life, when you are, say, for example
I'm just going to give thisanalogy say, for example, you're
going into a forest and thereare no paths in the forest, and
so you get this big machete, knife, and you're just cutting
down all these leaves and thesebranches and these trees and
just making room for this path, and you're going down this path

(35:34):
and you need the machete inorder to cut down the trees and
the plants and things like that.
And then you get to the end ofthe forest and you're like all
right, this tool was so usefulfor me.
And when you come out of theforest, you see this big
mountain in front of you andyou're like well, this machete
is not as useful for this nextpart of my life or this next

(35:57):
level of consciousness, and soyou put that machete in your
back pocket or in your backpackor whatever, and you're like,
okay, I'm going to need an icepick and I'm going to need
special shoes and I'm going toneed, like, warmer clothes and
all these different things.
And so you get those tools thatare going to help you climb
that mountain or explore thatnext level of consciousness.

(36:19):
And so, while you may not needa machete in that moment, you're
going to have it in yourbackpack if you were to come
along a forest again, but you'regoing to have your ice pick for
this next journey that you'regoing on.
And so that is how I view humandesign as this tool, like the
machete or the ice pick, and I'mgoing to need them at different

(36:40):
times in my life for differentthings and where I'm at and what
I need.
And so it's helpful for aperiod of time to help me
wherever I am at.
And as I begin to transcendlimitations and belief systems
and set more into my ownsovereignty, then I'm going to
explore and use other tools tohelp me expand my consciousness

(37:00):
in different ways.
So it's not just going to behuman design and it's not this
huge like end all be all.
And so, personally, when I viewthe system from that
perspective.
It's not limiting, it's notlike I'm a manifestor and this
is what I have to do and this ishow I have to live my life and
whatever.
And just because my chart saysthis doesn't mean like it means
this about me, because I knowthat there are people who take

(37:23):
it literally and it's kind oflike this mental game where they
try to match their chart upwith their life and that's not
really how it works.
It's really about coming backto yourself and listening to
your body and what is your truth, and so that is one way that
you can look at human design asanother tool that you can
explore.
Before I wrap this up, I justwant to give an example of a

(37:47):
client that I worked with whereI used human design, in
combination with other tools aswell, to help them move through
something in their life, so youcan see how it's actually
applicable in a real lifescenario.
So, for an example, I had aclient who was feeling really
stuck in a job and this was notreally sure how to move forward,

(38:08):
just feeling very unappreciated, really burnout, and when I
pulled up her human design chart, it showed that she had an open
spleen and open heart and, whenI started to dig a little bit
deeper, just found out that shewas afraid to let go of that job
but was really cleaning onto itfrom like a safety perspective,
even though it wasn't good foryou, it wasn't healthy for her,

(38:29):
it wasn't serving her any longer, and so she was feeling really
burnout because she wasconstantly saying yes to things
at work when she didn't have theenergy or the willpower from
her open heart center and shewas just constantly trying to
prove herself.
And so, also with an open headand an Aajna, she was getting
very lost in her co-workers'thoughts and she just felt so

(38:53):
scattered.
And so, with that context oflike, okay, here are
potentialities and we're usingthis human design language, I
was able to work with her todive deeper into underlying
belief systems that she had, tohelp her set more into her own
power and go deeper into herinsecurities of needing to prove
her worthiness, and we wereable to release emotions and
shift beliefs surrounding thatand, as well as using gentle

(39:18):
somatic exercises like breathwork to handle stress in a
different and a healthier wayfor her.
So in the end, as we workedtogether, she ended up finding
another job that was less hours, more money, and she started to
prioritize time alone so thatshe could get more familiar with
her energies and not constantlybe taking on other people's

(39:38):
energies and getting lost in it.
And so that is just a quickexample of how you can use the
system and how it can benefityour life when you start to
become aware of these shadowaspects or these parts of
yourself where you may not be inalignment with yourself and
it's based on those underlyinginsecurities or you have these

(39:59):
fears or whatever, and so youcan really use human design to
your benefit to break you out ofthese boxes that you put
yourself in and you don't evenrealize that you have put
yourself in those places.
So that is all that I have tosay about human design for today
A really brief overview.
I say brief.

(40:20):
I think I've been talking forlike 40 minutes or so, but this
has been my experience withhuman design so far.
I could talk so so much moreabout it, and maybe I will go
more in depth into the differenttypes and the different parts
of human design charts in laterepisodes, but I really wanted to
share this perspective becausenot many people are familiar
with human design.

(40:40):
It's starting to get a littlebit more popular and I think
people can view it as like thisEnneagram or whatever, and it's
so so much deeper than that andyou can use it as a tool that is
very empowering for you to setmore into your authenticity, to
set more into coming back toyour internal guidance system,
and so I feel like when it isexplained that way, it's much

(41:03):
more empowering and it can belooked at as something to be
curious about and something tohave fun with and to remove any
shame or like I'm doing thisright or I'm doing this wrong,
because to me, that's not whatthis system is used for at all.
It is meant to be an experimentto look at and say, wow, like
there are other possibilitiesthat I can actually be living my

(41:24):
life.
That will make my life so muchmore easier, that will Allow me
to love and respect myself more, because I am choosing and
making different decisions thatare in alignment To me, because
I am in touch with myself and myhigher self, with source, with
my internal guidance system, with my authority, whatever you

(41:45):
want to call it.
To me it's all the same thing, and it just allows for you to
have a more Beautiful life thatyou feel good about and, even
though things might be fallingapart or crumbling to the ground
, you at least are more groundedand in touch with yourself.
So you are reacting to thatdifferently, you are viewing and
perceiving it differentlybecause you have that foundation

(42:06):
and that groundedness withinyourself and that is how human
design can help you in that way.
So I hope all of you enjoyedthis episode about human design
again.
This was like a long time coming.
I have been wanting to do apodcast on this and there are
just so many different thingsthat I have to say about this
system and the impact it has hadon my life and you know I'm not

(42:28):
the same person I was, evenjust a year ago and the system
has been Something that cameinto my life when I was feeling
very lost and gave me thisfoundation to step on and To
explore and get to know myselfon a much, much deeper level and
expand my self awareness andthen also start to perceive the

(42:48):
world and other people in adifferent light, with more love
and compassion, because reallyunderstanding we are all so
different and unique andhonoring and respecting that,
even though it is different thanmy chart or how I perceive the
world.
It gave me language to say, oh,that person is a projector and
this is how they respond andreact to things.
And Before I might have judgedthem for that and now I'm like,

(43:11):
okay, that's just who they areand I accept them for who they
are.
And so there are so manybeautiful things that come from
using the system in differentways.
And again, if you are not Awareof what your type is or what you
haven't seen your chart before, you can go to my website at
nina dash alicecom.

website.
You can download that reportand go in and dive even deeper
into your chart than what Idiscussed today.
And if you are ready to go evendeeper, feel free to reach out
to Me or go on my website if youare interested in a human
design reading or if you wouldlike to work with me more, more
