In recovery, it does get greater later. This can mean we begin to reap the rewards of making better decisions. Thus, we get more rewards from better decisions and fewer consequences from bad decisions. These successes can put us in a funhouse of deception. We can very easily fall victim to the self-deception of we deserve a break or we can indulge in just one because of our success. We can foster the lie that we have amassed enough wealth that we can't possibly fall down. How quickly, that hill can become a sliding board? Where we slide our way down to defeat and destruction. So quickly our mountain of plenty can become a molehill of despair. Managing our successes can be even more challenging than battling our defeats. Listen as Trent espouses his strategy for handling rewards and success in recovery.
Recovery is a process of decisions.
