Self Respect is how one sees one self.   How we present ourselves daily is a reflection of our inner confidence or lack there of. Our neat and well groomed appearence demostrates our inner well being. What we eat and how we feed are minds indicates are gratitude for the life GOD has given us. My opportunity for another chance to do better propels me to respect myself and the God of my understanding. What I eat, feed my mind and my daily exercise ritual reflects my   desire to live and not die. Being at my best is a deep reference to my feeling of gratitude for each new daily opportnity to be at my absolute best. Thinking better, learning better yeilds better decisions invoking more rewards and less consequences. Recovery  mean maintaining self respect a level where no one respects you more than you respect yourself.
