In today's episode, we sit down with New Britain Mayor, Erin Stewart, to discuss one of the Root Center's latest ventures, our FIRST ever residential treatment facility. This new facility will replace our former clinic on Whiting Street, which was where we were located prior to opening our newly remolded clinic in January of 2022, which is now on East Main Street.
This clinic will be state-of-the-art, and provide 16 gender inclusive beds for those in need of more intensive treatment. We are fortunate to work closely with New Britain Mayor, Erin Stewart, who shares a passion for helping those who are struggling with mental health and/or addiction. With her help, we continue to expand our "roots" and find new and innovative ways to further help those in need.
Learn more about this exciting project, and what the Mayor has in mind for the future of recovery! The facility is expected to open in the summer of 2024. Stay tuned!
