Beyond Words: Leveraging Curiosity in Language w/ Laurice Snyder, Part 2

In this episode, we continue with our big dreams from Part 1 as we discuss the importance of language and understanding in conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion with Laurice Snyder, DEIB consultant of CESA6 Center 4All. We explore the fluidity and complexities of identity, including racial and cultural identity, and how language can shape our understanding of ourselves and others. We connect on the need for and power of curiosity as a strategy and tool when engaging in these conversations. Laurice strongly encourages starting with self – looking at your beliefs and attitudes to create compassionate spaces for dialogue, understanding, learning, and growing together.
