Pining for Pixels # 106 - Versus Mode: Physical Vs. Digital

Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!

For this segment of Versus Mode, I wanted to tackle that modern day question that many gamers find that they have to wrestle with - is physical gaming still the way to go, or do I embrace a digital mindset? I myself have struggled with this as it is clear that physical gaming is dying. While I don't think it will ever be gone completely, similar to how vinyl still exists and flourishes in its own way in a world a largely digital oriented music industry, physical games will see decreases in its presence more and more as time goes on. Both approaches have their pros and cons, so tune in to hear which one lands on top after all the dust has settled on this argument.
