Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
It has been a while since Sonic the Hedgehog has been an opponent for Mario. Ever since Sega withdrew from hardware and transformed into a publisher, Sonic and Mario became friends. Sure we had them competing in the same games like Sonic and Mario at the Olympics or Sonic being a guest character in Super Smash Bros, but this is the first time in a long time that Sonic has taken Mario head on in a competing title. Somewhat reminiscent of the SNES/Genesis console wars, Sega even resurrected an old TV spot from those days to advertise this match up! I felt it was time to officially put them head to head in this newest entry in the Versus Mode series. Tune in to hear which one ultimately finishes in first place.

The Brothers Ortiz
The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
