Grace and peace aren’t throwaway words; they’re the gateway to everything that follows. We open Revelation 1:4–7 and move from greeting to glory, showing how grace turns the heart and peace settles the soul as the Holy Spirit brings us into living fellowship with the Father and the Son. From there, we face the question Pilate asked—what is truth—and answer by pointing to Jesus as the faithful witness who makes us free in the present tense, not someday, but now.

We walk through the cross as a finished work that no moral effort or religious grind can rival. The Spirit applies that victory by convincing us of sin, righteousness, and judgment that drives us to mercy, not despair. Then we step into identity: washed in his own blood, we are made kings and priests. That means authority expressed through obedience, and a priesthood embodied in witness, prayer, and presence—salt that preserves, a city that cannot be hidden, a pillar that stands when the storm hits. We also confront time’s drift and remember that God’s word does not thin with age; what he spoke remains fresh, living, and binding.

Finally, we lift our eyes: behold, he comes with clouds, and every eye shall see him. For those set against him, that day means wailing; for those who respond to grace, it means joy. The Spirit and the bride still say, Come. If you’re thirsty for truth, tired of fear, or ready to lay down your fight, drink the water of life freely and live with the peace only Jesus gives.

If this spoke to you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review to help others find these conversations. Your story and your questions shape what we explore next—tell us where grace is leading you.

SPEAKER_00 (00:40):
We're glad to have you with us in person here
tonight.
We're glad to have you with usjoining us through the media as
well.
And we will be in a revelationhere.
Let's come on into the Word ofGod.
Revelation chapter one.
And we are going to start inverse 4 tonight.
Revelation chapter 1, verse 4.

(01:05):
And a lot of people might saythis is a greeting.
So amen.
John to the seven churches whichare in Asia.
Grace be unto you and peace fromhim which is and which was and
which is to come, and from theseven spirits which are before
his throne, and from JesusChrist, who is the faithful

(01:27):
witness, and the first begottenof the dead, and the prince of
the kings of the earth, unto himthat loved us and washed us from
our sins in his own blood, andhath made us kings and priests
unto God and his Father.
To him be glory and dominion forever and ever.
Amen.
Hallelujah.

(01:48):
Yeah, we've got to go back toverse four here.
Right after he writes thepurpose of the book, you notice
how the the Holy and the HolyGhost did this through John.
Might say he wrote up thepurpose of the book in the first
three verses.
And then he got more personal inverse four.

(02:08):
And how does this greetingstart?
Grace.
The word grace.
Grace be unto you in peace.
Right here at the beginning ofthe book of Revelation.
Grace and peace.
Oh, church, how we ought togreet each other like that.

(02:29):
Amen.
Christians, you know, born-againpeople, we all we all have the
same Holy Spirit, we're underthe same blood, we have the same
Father, we have the same word.
Grace and peace.
This is a greeting, this is anencouragement, this is a
reminder, this is anexhortation.
Grace.

(02:50):
Oh my friend, the mercifulkindness of God, the charity of
God toward people in need, thefree, unmerited, unearned love
and favor, and the source ofevery blessing you and I have in
the Lord, as you're under theblood, as you're filled with the

(03:11):
Holy Ghost, as you are walkingand living and running a race
and living a life on the firmfoundation, the solid rock of
Jesus Christ, washed in theblood, filled with the Holy
Ghost, in constant relationshipwith the Lord God Almighty.

(03:34):
And he brought you there by hisgrace.
He brought you under his grace.
And he didn't stop.
His grace leads you somewhere.
His grace leads you to peace.
So grace and peace, my friends,it starts when the Holy Spirit

(03:57):
comes to a soul.
Perhaps you tonight, my lostfriend.
Lost man, lost woman, and lostchild.
This is you tonight.
The Holy Ghost comes to you andHe turns you.
He turns you to the living God.
The Holy Ghost turns you toJesus.

(04:18):
And Jesus, hallelujah and amen,He presents you to the Father.
And then it comes back around.
You get filled with the HolyGhost.
And you're brought into thisprecious, precious, precious
relationship.
The Father and the Son and theHoly Spirit all communicating,
all talking in you and with youand through you.

(04:41):
And my friend, there's a peace.
Oh, do you want some peace thisnight?
Do you want some peace this day?
Do you want some peace as you'relistening to this message?
Oh, my friend, he brings peace.
He brings rest.
He brings healing.
He brings wholeness.
He brings the blessed fruits ofthe Holy Spirit.
He's God in us and we in him.

(05:04):
We are in this world, my friend.
We're not of this world.
We're seated with him inconstant relationship, constant
fellowship.
We're kept and sealed andpreserved and grown up.
Hallelujah.
And this is the greeting of Johnto the churches.
I'll say it again.

(05:25):
It's an encouragement to thesechurches.
It's a reminder to thesechurches.
It's an exhortation to thesechurches.
Grace and peace, you are undergrace and you are kept in peace.
Because hallelujah, the HolyGhost knows what He's going to
write.
The Holy Ghost knows thecontents of this book.

(05:49):
And my friends, from grace andpeace, we come to Him which is,
Him which was, and which is tocome.
My friend, we occupy a space intime, whether you're in Christ
or whether you're not in Christtonight.
You occupy a space in time andyou occupy a space in history.

(06:15):
And we're going to unpack this, maybe in a little bit of a
different way tonight.
From him which is.
The time we're in right now is atime like none other.
In the eyes of God, this is atime like none other.
This is a time of grace.
This is a time of peace.

(06:37):
This is a time of good, the goodwill of the Lord God Almighty
toward men.
The good will of the Lord GodAlmighty toward you.
And he expresses that most fullyin Jesus Christ.
When it comes to you, lost man, lost woman, lost child, Jesus

(07:02):
Christ is the fullness of theLord's love expressed to you.
And he expressed it in thistime.
If you come down to verse 5,Jesus Christ, who is the
faithful witness.

(07:23):
Oh, John 17 tells us that hemanifested the Father to his
disciples.
John 18 tells us that he stoodbefore a man named Pontius
Pilate, and he said, I bearwitness to the truth.
I'm come to bear witness of thetruth.

(07:48):
He bore witness both in Israeland by type and form to all the
nations.
He's the faithful witness.
Oh my friend, in a time ofconfusion, in a time where so
many people were searching andsearching and looking and
looking and wondering, you know, what is the truth?

(08:09):
Oh, even Pilate said that, andtheologians have debated that
for centuries.
How did he say it?
Was he sarcastic?
Was he scornful?
Was he angry?
When he said, What is truth?
Um, how how how did he say it?
How did he say it?
Well, how do you say it?
Do you want to know the truth?
Because, my friend, the truth isa person, the truth is a living

(08:33):
God, and the truth will make youfree.
That's exactly what the truthdoes.
He makes you to be free.
So, do you want to know freedom?
Oh, my friend, in America is araging debate right now.
Do you want real freedom?
Oh, it's in Jesus Christ.

(08:55):
It's not in a constitution, it'snot in a political advocate,
it's not in anywhere else, it'snot in a government, it's not in
a man, it's not in a woman.
It's it's in nowhere but JesusChrist.
So you want God to blessAmerica.
Well, amen.
God has blessed America and Heis, because you've got Bible
preaching going forward rightnow.

(09:16):
You've got Jesus Christ blessingyou because he's sending his
Holy Spirit right now to turnyou out of the lies, out of the
deceptions, and into the truth, and he will make you free.
And he does it in this time ofgrace.

(09:37):
He does it, he is, this is theis part.
This is where we are right nowin history.
Oh, it doesn't stop there.
He's the first begotten of thedead.
My friends, the scriptures willtell us many places and many
ways that he died on a cross.
And he died on that cross.

(09:58):
And on that cross, he became allof your sin.
He became all of creation's sin.
He had no sin of his own, butwhat did the father do?
The father took it, and if youwill, he took it and he laid it
on him while he was hanging onthat cross.
He made Jesus in essence, inbeing to be sin.

(10:21):
All of your deception, all ofyour fornication, all of your
pride, all of your ego, all ofyour indifference, all of it,
all of it, all of it.
This man, this Lamb of God whohad no sin of his own, by the
will of God became it in hisvery essence, in his very being.

(10:46):
And he died.
And this death had a point.
His death had a purpose.
Because in doing that, you youmay remember from last week, he
said it is finished before hedied.
That's one thing that wasfinished.
Out of many things that werefinished on that day, this is

(11:07):
one.
The work of your sin being takencare of was finished.
It was finished.
No sacrifice you could make canmatch this.
No amount of book learning, noamount of theological learning,

(11:29):
no amount of historicallearning, no amount of moral
strength can match what JesusChrist did when he hung on that
cross.
Because, well, that's yoursacrifice.
The moral strength is yoursacrifice, the learning is your
sacrifice, and be careful withthat because scripture will warn

(11:50):
you ever learning, but nevercoming to the knowledge of the
truth.
How do you get to the knowledgeof the truth?
Well, my friend, the Holy Ghostcomes and he turns you.
He convinces you of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
Not only in general, but inparticular, your sin, his
righteousness, and his judgment.

(12:13):
Which now in the is.
This is what his judgment does.
Sets you free.
This is what his judgment does.
Drives you straight to thecross.
This is what his judgment does.
Brings you to your knees to callupon the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ to be your Savior.

(12:33):
That's what his judgment does inthe now.
Hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
And he rose again, my friend,he's the first begotten of the
dead.
Oh church, now because he lives, you live.
You live in him, and he lives inyou.
By means, as we've heard, of theHoly Ghost.

(12:55):
Hallelujah.
And my friend, he's seated now.
He's living now.
He's seated now at the righthand of his Father in glory, and
he's waiting for something.
He's waiting for the future.
He's waiting for the is to come.
But now, this is the day of yoursalvation.

(13:17):
So liar, thief, blasphemer, murderer, in the grips of your
lust, in the grips of yoursexual perversion, in the grips
of your despair, in the grips ofyour rage, in the grips of your
fear.
Now is the moment of yoursalvation.

(13:42):
Oh, turn to him.
Turn to him.
Because, my friend, your sin isalready taken care of.
Your blood is already shed.
Um, your your your life isalready in him.
Why don't you have it yet?
Why should you die?
Because my friend, believe onand on the Lord Jesus Christ,

(14:07):
trust the Lord Jesus Christ.
Throw yourself on the Lord JesusChrist.
Because you're in a desperatesituation, my friend.
You're in a desperate situation.
But God says, why should youdie?
God says, the whole reason whythe future hasn't come, why I

(14:30):
have not returned yet is you.
I want you to turn to me.
I don't want you to perish.
Maybe you think you shouldperish.
Well, God thinks differently,amen.
Maybe you think you're too fargone.

(14:53):
Well, God thinks differently.
He says, I don't want anyone toperish, and that includes you.
So no matter how desperate, nomatter how long, no matter how
bad, no matter how ugly your sinmight be, I guarantee you, you
haven't sinned beyond the blood.
You haven't out sinned theblood.

(15:14):
You haven't outsinned the loveof a father, you haven't
outsinned the strength of theHoly Ghost, you haven't
outsinned grace and mercy, youhaven't outsinned them.
So, friend, why should you die?
Why should you die?
The prince of the kings of theearth.

(15:36):
And the translation into Englishin the King James fails a bit
here.
He's the first of the kings,he's the highest of the kings,
he's the greatest of the kings,he's the king of every king,
he's above every government,he's above every culture, he's

(15:56):
above every he's above time,he's above space, he's above
creation itself.
He was there before there was acreation, my friend.
He is above and he is king, andthis is the one who is saying
this to you.
This is the one.
If you're gonna trust anybody, trust him.

(16:19):
If you're gonna follow anybody, follow him.
If you're gonna believe anybody, believe him.
If you believe the king over allkings tonight, because this is
who he is.
Oh no, the precious revelationgoes on unto him that loved us
and washed us, washed us fromour sins.

(16:47):
In his own blood, in his ownblood not not in your blood.
Let that blow you away tonight.
Not in your blood.
He doesn't want your blood.
He does not want your blood.

(17:10):
Let that blow you away.
To come under his grace, hedoesn't want your blood.
To come under his grace, hedoesn't want you to make some
backbreaking effort.
To come under his grace, hedoesn't want you to to build a
tower, he doesn't want you tobuild a stairway to heaven, he

(17:33):
doesn't he doesn't want you tofigure out, he doesn't want you
to conform to his moral code, hedoesn't want you to even conform
to the law that he gave toMoses.
No.
Believe on the one that he sentbecause he already did
everything.

(17:55):
Again, I say, Well, what can youdo?
You can go to church every timethe doors are open.
You can go you can go tochurches of all the
denominations under the sun.
You can you can sit in your roomand listen to 20, 30, 40, 50
different preachers and try tofigure it all out for yourself.
Try to harmonize it.

(18:18):
God doesn't want any of that.
He wants you to believe on theone he sent.
Jesus Christ.
There is no other name, myfriend.
Under heav in the heaven or inthe earth or above the earth or
under the earth by which youmust be saved.

(18:41):
Washed us with his own blood.
Oh, and he didn't stop there.
Hath made us kings and priests.
Oh my George.
What are we missing?
What are we missing?

(19:03):
Wanna talk about experiences?
Is this your day-to-dayexperience?
You wake up, I'm I'm a king.
And uh I didn't make me a king.
Hallelujah.
Jesus made me a king.
Jesus gave me a place ofauthority in this world.
Jesus, you remember how he hegave Adam dominion?

(19:25):
Way way back when?
He gave Adam dominion, you know, before he fell.
Oh, hallelujah.
You got some dominion now.
Why?
God made you a king.
That's your position in thisworld.
God made you a king, God madeyou a priest.

(19:49):
You're the one who has thisgospel.
You're the one who has yourgospel.
You're the one who has yourtestimony.
You're the one who has yourrelationship with the Lord.
You're the one, you know, theHoly Ghost is in you, and He,
one thing He does, he startsreminding you of everything that

(20:13):
Jesus said.
Where did Jesus get it?
From the Father.
How is he getting it to you?
The Holy Ghost.
You walk around that way.
You are a living temple.
You are the dwelling place ofthe Lord God Almighty,
hallelujah, on this earth.
God set you to be the pillar andthe ground of the truth in this

(20:37):
world.
In a time of chaos, in a time offear, in a time of uncertainty,
my friend.
In a time of great worry, in atime of great frustration, in a
time of great anxiety, in a timeof lust that's becoming more and
more unbridled in our nation.

(20:59):
What did he do?
He set you as a pillar.
Imagine the great storm is justbeating and lashing, and the
rains and the wind, but there'sthis pillar that's standing
strong.
There's this city that's up on ahill.

(21:19):
And no matter how terrible itmight get, you can't hide it.
There's a light to the world.
That's you.
There's assault on the earth topreserve the earth.
There's a salt of the earth thatthat believes God and obeys him.

(21:44):
There's assault on the earth,and that's you.
Hallelujah, you're a king andyou're a priest.
Never miss that.
It's not robbery to be what youare in the Lord.
Too many of us think we'renothing.

(22:08):
Too many of us think we're of noconsequence.
Too many of us think, well, I'mjust a quiet person.
What can I do?
Too many of us think, well, Idon't have a lot of money.
What can I do?
Who am I?
Too many of us worry and worryand worry.

(22:28):
That's robbery, my friend.
You're a king and you're apriest.
You're washed in the blood.
You're you're the pillar and theground of the truth.
You're a city on a hill, you'rethe light of this world, and
you're under a promise of JesusChrist Himself.
He prayed for you in John 17before he said, before he did
that, he said things like, you're gonna do greater things.

(22:49):
He said that things like, if youask in my name, I will do it,
that the Father will beglorified in this earth.
You have you you are an heir.
And you have an inheritancethat's worth more than this
world could ever express.
Remember that.
And not only remember it, butlive it, my friend.

(23:12):
Live it.
Kings and priests unto God andhis Father, to him be glory and
dominion forever and ever.
Hallelujah, hallelujah, amen.
Now before we go to verse 7,come up to come up to verse 4

(23:33):
one more time.
So we're gonna do this a littlebit different.
Him which is.
You just heard a bit about that.
And which was.
Which was.
See, the Bible will tell usJesus Christ is the same
yesterday, today, and forever, and he is.

(23:53):
And my friend, you can go andyou can see the witness of
creation in Genesis 1.
You can see the witness in John1 that Jesus Christ is that
word, and he is with the Father, and he was the Father.
All things created by Him,through Him.
You can come up to the book ofColossians, all things consist
by Him, and that He was beforeHis creation.

(24:17):
I want to tell you today, thepassage of time, especially
those in this room, and youknow, brothers and sisters
abroad, I I don't know a lot ofwhat's going on in you.
And hallelujah, I know this willbe true of you as well, though.
Time's passage does not diminishor minimize the Word of God.

(24:43):
Time's passage does not do that.
You see, God's outside of time.
We are in time.
And God help us in America, wegot short memories.
It's just a cultural thing.
A lot of people can't rememberwhat was preached last week.
I mean, you're born again, you're saved, I love you, but
you can't remember what waspreached last week for the life

(25:05):
of you.
But the passage of time does notminimize his word.
See, the Holy Ghost gave thisword at various times.
Hebrews will tell us that, various times, sundry times, to
different people throughouthistory.
Arguably going back to, somepeople will put Job pre-flood.

(25:31):
I mean, going back a long time.
God gave this word, and the HolySpirit didn't stutter, the Holy
Spirit didn't make a mistake.
The Holy Spirit gave you exactlywhat he wanted to give you in
this word.

(25:52):
It's not a temporary word, it'sa living word.
Just as living and inspired now, just as living and just as
inspired and just as relevanttoday.
And my friend, the blood willnever lose its power.
From our perspective, the bloodwas shed a long time ago.

(26:15):
You see, Book of Revelation, uh,if you put it at AD 90, there or
about you see, to us, that'sancient.
As we reckon time, it's ancient.
But to God, it's like he justsaid it.

(26:38):
It's as fresh as though he justsaid it.
It's as anointed, it's aspowerful as though he just said
it.
My friend, I want you to thinkback.
Think back.
Hallelujah, the Lord's beendoing that in me this the last
seven days.
Think back.

(26:58):
Remember when I spoke to you.
Remember when I called you to dowhat you're doing today.
Remember that.
What has God spoken to you thatyou've left behind?
What has the Lord spoken to youthat you've let fall by the

(27:19):
wayside?
What has the Lord spoken to you?
That's to you, it seems like itwas just so long ago.
It seems like so many thingshave changed.
It seems like things are justsort of different all around
you.
Um, you know, people have comeand people have gone, and um,
you know, you may be married,um, you you may have children
now, you may you may, you know, your finances have gone up and

(27:41):
down and up again and down againand up again.
And my friend, it just seemslike everything's different now,
but my friend, that's not so.
God's word to you.
See, he walked Abraham out undera starry sky, and he promised
Abraham, he said, look up.
That's how many descendantsyou're gonna have.

(28:05):
Abraham didn't even have a kid.
God promised him that.
And he only saw one child bornin the promise, Isaac.
He saw one.
He didn't see innumerable.
Not not with his eyes.

(28:27):
But my friend, he believed God.
Do you believe God tonight?
That word he gave to you maybetwo years ago, maybe four years
ago, maybe ten years ago, maybetwenty, maybe forty, maybe
fifty.
Just as true today as though hejust spoke it to you.

(28:49):
Or do you live life that way, myfriend?
Do you live life that way?
Because God was just as much Godback then as he is right now.
And so we'll come to who is tocome.
From him which is, from himwhich was, which is to come.

(29:12):
Now we got an interesting versein verse 7.
And I want you to hear thisverse in light of grace and
truth, in light of grace andmercy, in light of grace and
peace.
Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and
they also which pierced him, andall kindreds of the earth shall

(29:37):
wail.
Wail because of him.
Even so.
Amen.
Even so, amen.
We have not seen this yet.
We have not seen this yet.
He cometh with clouds, and umfriend, um, I want you to

(30:02):
remember the pillar of cloud inthe book of Exodus.
That wasn't just a regularcloud.
That was the glory of God.
That was the glory of the Lord.
And so Jesus is coming, and thisis who is to come.
Jesus is coming in his glory.
And I happen to believe you mayshare this or you may not, that

(30:23):
this is a living cloud.
This isn't a natural phenomenon.
And if you come over to I'mgetting that from later on in
the book.
Revelation 19.
And it's a long, long section.

(30:47):
And I saw heaven open, verse 11.
I saw heaven open, and behold, awhite horse.
And he this is right after themarriage supper of the Lamb,
too.
Glory to God.
This is right after that.
Um he that sat on him was calledfaithful and true.
This is Jesus.
This is the same God who died onthe cross.
This is the same God who roseagain on the third day.

(31:11):
In righteousness doth he judgeand make war.
And his eyes were as a flame offire, and on his head were many
crowns.
He's the king of all kings.
And he had a name written thatno man knew but he himself.
He was clothed with a vesturelike a cloak or an outer
garment, dipped in blood, andhis name is called capitalized

(31:33):
the Word of God.
This is Jesus.
And the armies which are inheaven, he cometh with clouds.
The armies which were in heavenfollowed him upon white horses,
clothed in fine linen, linen, white and clean.

(31:54):
And you'll see later in thatchapter.
I want you to see yourself here.
Don't just see the historicalarmies.
Don't just see the Antichristand the false prophet and their
armies.
Don't just see that in thefuture.
You see, these people will beset against God.

(32:18):
They will be set against him.
They are coming to fight himphysically.
What about you?
What about you tonight?
He cometh with clouds, every eyeshall see every that's you.
Every single eye shall see him.

(32:43):
And they also which pierced him.
And all kindreds of the earth.
Some people will say we'retalking about Israel
particularly, and we're talkingabout all the Gentile nations at
the same time.
All kindreds of the earth shallwail.

(33:04):
Wail profound grief.
For them that stay set againstGod, that stay set against
Jesus.
Profound grief at his coming.

(33:26):
All the kindreds of the earthshall wail.
Oh my friend, are you setagainst him?
Even tonight, are you setagainst him?
Are you set in a ray?
Um, do you have yourself?
And then you notice the the thearmies.
And this happens before themillennial reign, and it happens
one more time after themillennial reign.

(33:48):
Armies.
You know the thing about both ofthose times, even though they're
separated by a thousand literalyears, Satan is the one behind
it ultimately.
So you've got Satan, you've gotthe beast, you've got false
prophet, you've got all thesearmies.
They are together, they areunited, they are supporting one

(34:13):
another, they are propping oneanother up against Jesus.
Against Jesus.
So you may be set against theLord tonight.
Who else is around yousupporting you?
Who else is around you, encouraging you to make war

(34:37):
against God and against hispeople?
Who else is around you holdingyou up?
Encouraging you when times gettough, encouraging you,
supporting you, coddling yourlust, stoking your anger when it

(35:01):
fades, handing you the drugs, encouraging you to mock God,
encouraging you to mock thechurch, encouraging you that
it's all just a matter ofopinion, that it's all just a
matter of interpretation, andit's all just a unifying myth.

(35:25):
Encouraging you that's oh youmight feel bad today.
Oh that Jesus, he makes you feelbad.
Oh, I've got another one overhere.
He'll make you feel good.
You're an army making waragainst God.

(35:47):
And my friends, the reason Isaid the reason I opened this
with Grace be unto you in peace.
You see, this is coming.
You continue to fight God, and Iguarantee you you will wail.
You will wail.
That is coming.

(36:08):
See, all those armies, they theythey come ready to fight.
But then the Lord in his glory.
I mean, all of a sudden theweapons are just thrown down,
all of a sudden the strategy isgone.
All of all of a sudden, it'sjust wailing.
It's wailing, it's wailing likeyou've never heard on a scale
like you've never heard.

(36:29):
Imagine millions wailing.
Imagine everyone through historywhoever took up a fight against
God backwards, everyonethroughout history.
My friend, if the if thetribulation, if the rapture
happens tomorrow, you're on theearth already.

(36:51):
And you will wail.
Along with everyone throughouthistory, whoever took up arms
and ever died fighting Jesus.
But my friends, why does theLord tell you about this time?
I want to take you to the end ofthe book of Revelation.

(37:12):
I love the book of Revelation,if you haven't noticed.
It begins with grace and peace.
It begins with the Lord sharingto the churches the things which
will shortly come to pass.
It begins with that.
And it ends.
You know, God can't let it endwithout an invitation.

(37:33):
This is God's invitation.
Hallelujah.
Revelation 22.17.
And the spirit capital S.
The Spirit of God and the bride.

(37:56):
Every man, woman, and child bornagain, bloodwashed,
spirit-filled, Jesus lovingthroughout history.
The spirit and the bride say toyou, lost man, lost enemy of
God, we say to you, Come, come, why should you perish?

(38:18):
Why should you wail at thecoming of the Lord?
Why not rejoice?
Why not celebrate?
Why not, why not look forward togoing home?
Why not look forward to him?
Why fight this fight againstGod?
We say, and God with us, and Godin us, and God through us, we

(38:41):
say, Come to you, we say, Come.
Let him that saith, everyindividual, come.
And let him that is a thirst, that's you.
Are you thirsty tonight?
Let him that is a thirst come.

(39:03):
And whosoever will.
Whosoever, that's you.
You put your name there.
Whosoever will.
The most vile enemy of Godwalking this earth right now.
And God wants that God doesn'twant to meet you in war.
God doesn't want to meet you ona on a white horse with a robe

(39:27):
dipped in blood, with eyes as aflaming fire, with a sharp
two-edged sword coming out ofhis mouth.
He doesn't want to meet you ashis enemy.
See, now is the day where God'staking his enemies and turning
them into friends.
Now is the day where God'staking his enemies and saying,

(39:51):

Whosoever will, let him take ofthe water of life.
And let him take freely.
Let him take of the water oflife freely.
Live.
Live and not die.

(40:14):
Live and not die and spend yourremaining years declaring the
good works of the Lord.
Live and not die.
Freely live as much as you want.
Drink as much of this water asyou want.
And Jesus said, you know, you'renot going to thirst again.

(40:37):
Jesus said, This is the livingwater.
This is the living word.
This is the Holy Ghost.
Drink and drink deeply.
And never thirst again.
Fall to your knees a sinner andcall upon the name of the Lord.
And you know what?
He takes you up and he lifts youup.

(40:58):
You fall to your knees a sinnerand you get up a saint.
You fall to your knees as a deadman and you get up as a living
soul.
Quickened, alive, filled withthe Holy Ghost.
All of your mourning turned todancing.
All of your weeping and all ofyour tears turned to tears of

(41:24):
joy.
All of your heaviness turned tocelebration.
All of your fear turned into aboldness.
All of your worry answered.
Completely, utterly, totallyanswered.
All of your conflict and all ofyour strife.

(41:46):
All brought to peace.
By God Himself, never to beundone.
Beyond all principality, beyondall power, beyond all work of
the devil himself, beyond allwork of your dead flesh, beyond
all work, it's all answered.

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
