Reach out to us atRedeemingTheLost at iCloudcom.
We look forward to hearing fromyou there.
Going to be talking about truthtoday, and truth is one of
(00:39):
those interesting things thatthe Word of God, and also the
God who gave the Word, makes thetruth a really, really
straightforward and simple thing.
At the same time, if you go outinto the world and this is true
where I am in the AmericanSouth, this is true everywhere
(01:02):
I've been in the United Statesand this is also true I'm going
to say it just based on humannature and based on the activity
of the demonic, wherever youare listening to this today and
as I record this, we're in about60 different countries around
the world outside of America.
We're in about 60 differentcountries around the world
(01:23):
outside of America where you aretoday this is also going to be
true you can go out into theworld and you can ask people.
You know what is the truth andyou ask different people and you
get different answers.
You get kind of thesepersonalized answers and they're
(01:44):
all different from each other.
Because in the world, there'sdefinition upon definition upon
definition, and perspective uponperspective, and experience
upon experience, and feelingupon feeling, and people cobble
together what they may calltheir truth, what may be called
(02:07):
the truth in one part of theworld, what may be called truth
in one person, in one household,in one family, in one workplace
or whatever the case may be.
But the point is, it's cobbledtogether based upon personal
preference, experience, feeling,lust, education, philosophy,
(02:28):
whatever the case may be.
But it's something differentfrom the actual truth, because
the Lord makes the truth very, very, very simple, very, very
straightforward, very, very easyto understand, very, very, you
(02:49):
know, very, very, very plain.
The Word of God talks about itbeing manifest.
It talks about it being really, really, really easy to see.
And how did he do that?
In the Word of God, you know,we see it Jesus calls himself
the truth.
He says I am the way, the truthand the life.
(03:09):
Jesus is the truth.
Now, what on earth does thatmean?
That means that the lord, godalmighty, the lord who is holy,
the lord who is love, the, theworld, the Lord who formed you
as a human being you know, hewent back.
If you go back and look at howAdam was made, the Lord took the
(03:32):
dust of the earth that he hadalready made, he had already
spoken into existence and heformed Adam and he breathed into
Adam.
And guess what?
You and I, both, we all go backto Adam and we are made in the
image of God.
He formed you, he knows you andhe loves you and he created the
(03:55):
world around us.
He is the King of Kings, he isthe Lord of Lords, he is the
first and last authority on whatis the truth.
Now, the world's got.
You know, like we said, youknow all these definitions and
perspectives and feelings, etcetera, and so forth, and
cultural traditions and thingshave been passed down, and
(04:18):
passed down from generation togeneration.
Where did that come from?
That came from the world.
And truth does not come fromthe world.
Truth does not come from withinhumanity.
Truth does not come from ourheart.
Truth does not come from ourexperience.
(04:40):
Truth does not come from ourthoughts and our reasonings and
our philosophies and ourworldviews and all that stuff.
Truth doesn't come from insidehumanity.
Truth does not come from theworld.
Truth does not come from justsimply observing the world.
(05:01):
You know, just simply observingthe world.
If you observe, actually if youobserve the world from a fair
mind, the world itself will bearwitness to God.
God's creation bears witness tothe God who created the
(05:22):
creation, and it lifts our eyesto him.
And hallelujah and amen.
Jesus, who is the Lord, jesus, who is king, jesus who is the
truth, jesus who is holiness, heis love, he is justice, he is
(05:44):
righteousness.
Jesus himself took upon himselfflesh and he came and he was
born of a virgin and he grew upin a family and he learned
obedience and he walked and hetalked and he spoke and he sang
and he wept and he laughed andhe rejoiced and he knew us, he
(06:09):
walked with us and he spoke tous.
And come on over to John 18, 37.
That's going to be just part ofit.
That's going to be sort of ouruh, our scripture for today.
Excuse me, what did jesus say?
And jesus is interacting withpilot in this situation?
(06:31):
And one thing that jesus toldpilot john 1837 to this end was
I born.
This is the reason I was bornand for this cause came I into
the world.
Like we just said, truthdoesn't come out of the truth.
(06:52):
We cannot develop the truth, wecannot produce the truth.
(07:17):
But Jesus said Amen, hallelujah, and he says To this end was I
born.
And then glory to God.
He doubles down.
He says For this cause came Iinto the world.
Truth had to come into theworld Post-fall, and that's my
life and your life.
(07:38):
You know, amen, hallelujah, anda whole lot of other
generations before us, lot ofother generations before us
Post-fall, when Adam and Evefell, you know, eve was led into
the deception by the devil andAdam followed her into that and
they fell, post that after that, post that after that, we had no
(08:08):
idea about the truth.
I mean, we knew that there was agood and there was an evil.
We could understand them asconcepts, as ideas, but there
was this great confusion overthe truth that goes on to this
day.
And, my friend, we've got afallen humanity, where, you know
, our flesh is fallen.
(08:29):
We've got demons and devilsinflaming things.
We've got a lot of confusionthat you know, I've said it
before, we live in a very, very, very confused time in history
and part of that confusion comesfrom everyone thinking that
they've got their own personaldefinition of the truth and it's
(08:52):
different from God's.
So, my friend, I got to tellyou in love you cannot find the
truth on yourself, on your own,you cannot produce the truth,
you cannot learn your way intothe truth, you cannot earn your
way into the truth.
You can't go around and observetrends and patterns in the
world and call it truth.
(09:14):
Jesus is the truth, he is theway, he is the truth, he is the
life, and he came into the worldbecause that's what God needed
to do to reach the world.
He had to come in.
We couldn't build it up to him,we couldn't get to him.
(09:36):
We couldn't because, I mean, you know, lost is lost folks,
and there's no getting unlost, there's no getting found,
there's no getting saved, there's no getting born again
Without God coming to us.
He knew that, he knows thattoday, and so that's why Jesus
(09:58):
was born, that's why Jesus cameinto the world.
That I should bear witness untothe truth, that Jesus would
affirm who the Lord is, he wouldaffirm what his word says, he
would affirm and show his natureto the world, the world which
(10:20):
is separate from him, yet whomhe loves.
Yet he loves this world.
He loves this world, who heloves.
He loves you Today, if you'relistening to this and you're
separate from the Lord.
You're in your sin, you'reunder the wrath of God, you're
in deception, maybe you're in,you know, you're in idolatry,
(10:43):
you're in fornication, you're inadultery, you're in lust,
you're in pride, you're inreligious hypocrisy, whatever
the case may be, but you'reseparate from God.
He loves you and so he comes toyou and Jesus would say you
know, as the Father sent me, sosend I you.
Jesus sends the church, jesussends born-again people,
(11:07):
born-again men who are preachinga message that we got from God
for you, because he loves you, because truth had to come into
the world, not found in theworld, not found in the world.
Truth had to come to people.
It's not found within people.
(11:27):
Naturally there's a lot ofnatural sin.
There's no natural truth.
And so here are the truths today, my friend, because there's a
real, real danger of makingdecisions, forming beliefs,
being affected by imaginations, being affected by imaginations
(11:52):
and fantasy.
And so you know, let's havesome examples here, imaginations
, just sort of broadly defined.
(12:12):
Let's say, someone is notsatisfied with who God says he
is.
Someone is not satisfied thatGod is love.
Someone's not satisfied thatGod heals, that God provides,
that God forgives, that God isgracious that God is holy, that
God is justice, that God has apassionate holy love and a
(12:36):
passionate holy wrath.
All these things that God saysabout himself, all these things
that God shows about himself, say you've got a person who is
not satisfied with what God says.
So the imagination goes to work.
The imagination goes to work.
At that point the word of Godbecomes twisted point.
(13:09):
The Word of God becomes twisted.
And all of a sudden you've got atheology that says that healing
doesn't happen anymore.
All of a sudden you've got atheology that says that the
gifts of the Spirit stopped.
All of a sudden you've got atheology that says that you've
got to buy your way and earnyour way into heaven.
All of a sudden you've got atheology that says that God is
not loving, that God is hateful.
(13:30):
All of a sudden you've got atheology that says that God
doesn't care about sin.
And all those differenttheologies I just listed.
Those are all different, separate things that's arisen
within the church.
Some of those things arecenturies old, but they're still
(13:53):
around today Because at somepoint there wasn't a
satisfaction, a hearing and asubmission to who God said he
was.
Because God is holy, god is love, salvation is by grace and
through faith.
God does heal.
The gifts of the Spirit arestill active today.
God provides, god makes a way,god forgives, god is merciful,
(14:18):
god is gracious, god is justice.
God does have a holy, passionate love and a wrath at
the same time.
There is a judgment, there is ahell, there is a heaven.
There is the blood of Jesus.
There is salvation by grace andthrough faith, available to
whosoever believes on the Lord.
Today, that is all the truth ofGod.
(14:40):
But in every generation therehave been some who are not
satisfied with that, some whowill hear that and twist it.
No matter how many times yousay it, no matter how many times
you show it, you show it.
(15:07):
And that is a danger, my friend.
There's a danger of makingdecisions.
There's a danger of formingbeliefs.
There's a danger of beingaffected by imaginations.
We see it in the deception thatjust simple physical acts
(15:29):
constitute a relationship.
We see it in the deception thatit's all about the pleasure.
It's all about the physicalrelationship.
It's all about the pleasure.
It's all about the physicalrelationship.
It's all about the lust.
It's all about getting yourlust fulfilled.
It's all about that.
That's a deception, my friend.
(15:49):
That's a counterfeit of a realgodly relationship, of a real
godly sexual intimacy, and it'srampant.
It's rampant in America, hasbeen for a number of years and
people have gotten hurt by it.
You've got to see this there isa danger of making decisions
(16:14):
apart from the Lord, apart fromthat which is true, apart from
the one whose very nature istruth.
He's the one who came up withintimacy.
He's the one who designed thehuman frame, man and woman.
He's the one who came up withmarriage.
He's the one who came up withrelationship.
(16:35):
He's the one who came up withall this stuff.
And if you want to know what itis, if you want to know what
it's for, if you want to knowwhat it's all about, you cannot
go out into the world.
You cannot go out into culture.
You cannot go onto the internet.
You cannot go onto thepornographic websites, you
cannot go to the news media.
(16:56):
You cannot go to, you know, tothe high schools and the middle
schools.
You cannot go there and findthis out Because, my friend, if
you do, you will be hurt in very, very, very real ways, maybe
physical, maybe emotional, maybemental, maybe all three, maybe
(17:18):
mental, maybe all three.
But, my friend, you know, godcreated men and women, god
created the family, god createdmarriage and God yes, indeed,
god created sexual intimacy andhe wants it for you and he wants
(17:41):
it for you.
The thing is, he wants it to betrue.
The thing is he wants it to bereal.
Do you want that?
Because, hallelujah, if you do,you will not be disappointed,
my friend.
But come to him.
Self-deception, another very, very common thing Seeing
yourself through pride ratherthan as you are.
(18:04):
So you imagine yourself to besomething that you're really not
.
You may imagine yourself.
You know the fornication comesout, the lying comes out, the
deceiving comes out, the theftcomes out, the hatred comes out,
the sin comes out and wedeceive ourselves into twisting
(18:27):
it to be somehow a good thing.
You know that hatred couldsomehow be a good thing, that
you know an ungodly anger, anungodly hatred, you know, could
somehow be a good thing, thatyou know lust and fornication
and adultery and drunkenness, and you know theft could somehow
(18:50):
be good things.
And so you start seeingyourself differently from the
way God sees you.
And one of the most dangerousself-deceptions is that God
doesn't love you Because he does.
He loves you even in the middleof your hatred.
You know, I've seen this before.
He loves you in the middle ofyour hatred.
(19:11):
He loves you in the middle offornication.
He loves you in the middle ofdrunkenness.
He loves you in the middle ofall the religious deception,
hypocrisy.
He loves you in the middle ofit all.
He always loves you and hisblood is always enough to get
you saved, to cover your sin, towash it away.
(19:33):
And ungodly fear is anotherthing.
It's a paralyzing thing.
It's a harmful thing toyourself and others.
It's a very, very isolatingthing.
But where I am in America, it'sa very, very isolating thing.
But where I am in America, there is a lot of fear, there is
a lot of anxiety, there's a lotof fear and it's led to a lot
(19:54):
of people just giving up.
It's led to a lot of peoplegoing into loneliness.
It's led to a lot of peoplegoing into despair.
It's led to a lot of peoplegoing into frustration and
hatred and blame.
It's led into a lot of peoplegoing into frustration and
hatred and blame.
It's led into a lot of pain.
But, my friend, there's a fearof the Lord and there's an
(20:14):
ungodly fear.
God wants you to have the fearof the Lord, because the fear of
the Lord is the beginning ofwisdom.
Fear of the Lord is thebeginning of knowledge.
The fear of the Lord is goingto take you good places, but,
man, the sinful fear, thedemonic fear, that's just going
to paralyze you and that's goingto eat you up and that's going
(20:39):
to destroy you.
And, my friend, you know thoseare just a few common areas, as
I've seen, you know, just overthe course of ministry here, and
maybe you see it too where youare.
But you know, got to reiteratethat there's a danger of making
decisions, forming beliefs,forming ideas, forming
(20:59):
worldviews, drawing conclusionsthat are based on imagination,
they're not based on God,they're not based on Jesus,
they're not based on God,they're not based on Jesus,
they're not coming from him, they're coming from somewhere
else.
And if they're coming fromsomewhere else, they're always
(21:20):
going to lead to sin, and sin isalways going to pay out the
wage of death.
But, my friend, god's got goodnews for you today Jesus came so
that he should bear witnessunto the truth.
Jesus is speaking to you todayand he's speaking from a place
(21:42):
of who he is.
And, my friend, there's asecurity and there's a safety in
the Lord.
There's a safety, there's apeace, there's a joy, there's a
healing, there's eternal life inthe Lord.
Will you hear him?
Because the devil's a liar, he'sa thief, he's a murderer, he
(22:03):
leads people to death.
The Lord is love, truth andholiness and he leads people to
life.
And he's saying come out ofyour ungodly fear, come out of
your sexual fantasy, come out ofyour self-deception, come out
of those things deception.
(22:24):
Come out of those things, comeout of your hatred, come out of
your drunkenness, come out ofyour pride and your delusions.
Come out of that, come out ofthe ungodly fear, because I'm
here and I am the Lord, godAlmighty, and my friend.
(22:44):
If you trust in the Lord, godAlmighty, he will never leave
you, he will never forsake you.
He's a good Father, he's aprovider, he sees things through
, he begins a good work in youand he will see it through to
the end.
He will not.
You know, hallelujah, anyonewho comes to Him.
He not only will not forget you, he cannot forget you, he
(23:09):
cannot forget you and he cannotlie to you.
He cannot deceive you and hewill not deceive you and he will
not lie to you.
He will not let you down.
He will not, he will not.
He will not, because the wordof the Lord doesn't fail.
The word of the Lord, you know, accomplishes what the Lord sets
(23:30):
it out to do.
The word of the Lord is quickand powerful and sharper than
any two-edged sword.
It divides down between thesoul and the spirit.
It divides the imaginationsfrom the truth.
It divides the unholy from theholy.
It divides, it divides, itdivides.
And you see the truth of God,you see the love of God, you see
(23:53):
the forgiveness and you see thegrace and you see the goodness
of God and you see the mercy ofGod.
And he's drawing you today andhe's saying come home, come home
, come home.
This world is not a safe place.
This world you're going to havetrouble.
This world is under a curse.
This world is passing away.
(24:16):
There's going to be a newheavens and a new earth and I
want you to be in that newheaven and new earth with me.
I want that to start now.
I want you to come home now.
I want to fill you with theHoly Ghost now.
I want you to come home now.
I want to fill you with theHoly Ghost now.
I want to forgive your sin now.
I want you to be born again now.
I want to make you new now.
I want that to happen right now.
(24:38):
What do you want?
Come to Jesus, my friend.
Come to Jesus.
Call upon the name of the Lordand you shall be saved.
My friend and I thank you forbeing a part of the Lord and you
shall be saved, my friend, andI thank you for being a part of
the program today.
I know he's been speaking tofolks today and I want you to
respond to him.
I want you to respond to theLord, who has been speaking to
(24:58):
you so simply and so profoundlytoday.
Call upon the name of Jesus, myfriend, and you'll be born
again.
You'll be saved.
Um church, um.
I pray that this has been anencouragement to you.
Um be revived today.
Um draw to the Lord today.
If there's repentance thatneeds to happen in your life,
(25:20):
let that happen today.
Um, my friend, and we need to bewitnesses in this time,
witnesses in this time of suchgreat confusion, but witnesses
in this time where there isthere is still a harvest, there
are people that the lord wantsto hear his word.
Um, we're going to see peoplesaved.
(25:40):
We're going to see people bornagain.
We are going to see peoplereject the lord um.
But, my friend, the point isthat the Lord wants there to be
a witness Every born again man, woman and child listening to
this, every church listening tothis.
The Lord wants us to be a cityon a hill.
We are the salt of the world,we are the light of the world.
(26:00):
We didn't again, we didn't getthat from ourselves, we get it
from the Lord and he wants us tofunction in that way, because
the gospel must be preached andpublished in all nations.
That's all nations, not justsome.
And he wants you, church, to bea part of that.
(26:20):
And I thank you for being a partof this program.
Thank you for helping us reachnations around the world, being
a part of this program.
Thank you for helping us reachnations around the world.
