NEW BOOK! I'm pleased to say that we have completed a new book that has been years in the making. The Ten Shirot: Songs of Redemption looks at ten songs that were sung through pivotal times in Scripture. It's an examination of the redemption of Jesus, of worship, and of Scripture in a way that we believe you probably haven't seen before. Check it out at https://a.co/d/0a4KIooL .

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Hello and welcome to the Redeeming Love Bible
Broadcast.
My name is Phil Duddy, evangelist with Grace Baptist
Tabernacle of King, northCarolina.
Very happy to have you with meon the program today as we
conclude our series that iscalled With you.
This is going to be part threeof that series, and always feel
free to reach out to us atredeemingthelost at iCloudcom.
We would love to hear from youthere.

(00:36):
So let's go on over to Matthew28.
As I said, today we are goingto be concluding our series
called With you and we're goingto be concluding that series
with a really really, reallypowerful encouragement for
Christians who are obeying theLord Jesus when it comes to
going and when it comes tomaking disciples.

(00:57):
And so the Lord's got a realencouragement for us today and
he's got it in Matthew, chapter28.
So let's flip over there andlet's read from verse 18 down to

(01:18):
the end of the book.
This is what the Word of theFather and of the Son and of the
Holy Ghost, teaching them toobserve all things whatsoever.
I have commanded you and, lo, Iam with you always, even unto
the end of the world.
Amen, amen, amen and amen.
And one of the greatencouragements in this.

(01:41):
If you look at these verses, everything is based on who Jesus
is and what Jesus has done.
We go back up to verse 18.
All power is given unto me.
That's Jesus talking.
All power is given unto Jesusin heaven and in earth.

(02:02):
Go ye, therefore, and teach allnations, baptizing them in
whose name?
The name of the Father and ofthe Son and of the Holy Ghost.
It's not our name, it's not ahuman name, it's not, you know,
a person's name.
This is baptizing them in theLord's name, in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of theHoly Ghost, teaching them to

(02:24):
observe all things whatsoever Ihave commanded you, whatsoever
Jesus has commanded.
So we are teaching people toobserve all things that Jesus
commanded.
And again, that doesn't comefrom us.
We are making disciples, not ofourselves, but disciples of

(02:46):
Jesus, and we teach thosedisciples to observe things
whatsoever Jesus commanded us.
We're baptizing them in thename of the Father, the Son and
the Spirit.
We're going on the basis of whoJesus is and what Jesus has done
.
There's really nothing of thehuman here.
There's nothing of the worldhere.
There's nothing of the fleshhere.

(03:07):
The reality is that Jesus hasdone everything and Jesus does
do everything and Jesus will doeverything.
And we are going on the basisof what he's done on the cross.
We're going on the basis of hisshed blood.
We're going on the basis of thefact and the reality that Jesus

(03:31):
became our sin and Jesus diedand Jesus rose again and Jesus
is alive today.
We're going on the basis of thereality that the Father wanted
that to happen and that Jesuswillingly submitted to that and
that today, glory be to God.

(03:52):
Here today, the Holy Ghost isindwelling everyone who's born
again, everyone who's saved, everyone who believes Jesus,
everyone who's born again, andwe can't get over this reality
that the Holy Ghost isindwelling us.
We're going on the basis ofthese things that God has

(04:16):
already done.
We're going on the basis thatGod has done everything and that
whatsoever we receive from God,we received it from God.
We didn't take it ourselves, wedidn't make it ourselves, we
didn't make it happen, we didn'tforce God to give anything to
us, we didn't figure God out, wedidn't do everything right and

(04:36):
then God had to do something.
It's not transactional, butwe're going on the fact that the
Father loves the Son.
The Son loves the Father.
Out of love, the Father gavehis only begotten Son.
Out of love, jesus went andJesus was given and Jesus lived

(04:57):
and Jesus bore witness to thetruth and Jesus, at the end of
that time, he yielded up hislife, he gave up his life.
At the end of that time he wentto the cross.
He went to the cross willingly.
He finished a work on the cross.
He finished the work of oursalvation on the cross.
He finished the work.
I mean.
The devil was defeated at thecross.

(05:18):
Satan himself was defeated atthe cross.
He finished that work.
He finished the work of oursalvation and it's such a
complete thing, it's such atotally complete thing that, in
reality, sin is really no longeran issue, because Jesus died on
the cross and hallelujah, hesaid it is finished.

(05:41):
It is finished and salvation,my friend, this is why sin's no
longer the issue.
Salvation is by grace andthrough faith in Jesus Christ.
By grace and through faith inJesus Christ, the Lord himself
took your sin.
He took my sin.

(06:02):
He took the sin of the wholeworld, sin.
He took my sin.
He took the sin of the wholeworld.
He took the sin of every man, woman and child that you see,
and he became sin and he laiddown his life.
And he said and it was pleasing, it was pleasing to the Father,
the blood that Jesus shed, thelife that Jesus laid down and
the death that Jesus died, thatwas pleasing to the Father.

(06:24):
My sin is there and your sin isthere.
And the reality is that everylost man, woman and child, their
sin was there.
And then he turns around and hesays well, salvation is by
grace and through faith.
And so the reality is, myfriend, are you yielding to
Jesus?
Are you believing Jesus?

(06:45):
Is your faith in Jesus thepeople that you minister to
Christian?
Is their faith in Jesus?
Is their faith in Him, in Himas a living God, on the basis of

(07:07):
who he is, not just on thebasis of what he's done, but on
the basis of who he is.
That this lord, hallelujah andamen.
There there is a mercy in action, there is a love in action.
There is, and it's in actionbecause god looks at this world
and he loves it.
He looks at these people and heloves them, even because the
reality is, you know, theworld's fallen People are fallen

(07:30):
People sin and by default, wehave no other option.
We're born into our sin and wehave no other option but to sin.
But God sees this and God knowsthis and, what's more, god
loves, because he is love.
And so what did God do?

(07:51):
He said I want there to be away for people to be saved from
my wrath.
I want for there to be a wayfor people to be forgiven.
I want restoration, I wantreconciliation, I want a
redeemed relationship and Idon't want sin to be in the

(08:12):
picture anymore.
And so I'm going to deal withsin.
That's what God did and younotice, that's what God did.
That's what God did Becausewe're looking back on the cross
I'm recording this in 2024 we'relooking back on the cross.
The cross happened from ourperspective.

(08:34):
It happened in the past and itis finished because, though it
happened in the past, my friend,it's got every impact on our
present.
The cross happened in the pastand it impacts our present.
It impacts today, it impactstomorrow, it impacts the next

(08:58):
day, it impacts all the way tonew heaven and new earth.
The cross is that impactful andwe are going and we are making
disciples as the church, andwhat jesus is our head and that,
and the reality is that he hasdone everything.
It is finished.
Um hallelujah.
He was born of a virgin gloryand amen, he, he, he went and he

(09:21):
preached and he ministered andhe healed and he fulfilled
prophecy after prophecy afterprophecy.
He went and he laid down hislife, he shed his blood.
He's risen again and the bloodis acceptable in the Lord's
sight.
And so the work of salvation isfinished, the work of atonement
is finished.
It's finished.

(09:42):
And we are going and we areteaching all nations and we are
going and we are makingdisciples and we are going and
baptizing in the name of theFather, the Son and the Spirit.
And the basis is who the Lord isand what the Lord has done.
And the reality is it isfinished.
And so what do we have to do asa church?

(10:03):
Hallelujah and amen.
We receive, we believe, wereceive and we believe we
receive and we submit and weobey and we walk this out.
But the basis is not in ushumanly.
The basis is not in our humancharisma, it's not in our skill
as a speaker, it's not in youknow the way we look.

(10:24):
It's not in anything like that.
It's not in anything human, butit's not in you know the way we
look.
It's not in um, anything likethat, it's not in anything human
, but it's got everything to dowith jesus.
It's everything to do withjesus and he's risen today and
he makes this promise.
He says lo, I am with you always.
You know, right at the end ofmatthew 28, 20 lo, I am with you
always, lo j.

(10:45):
He calls special attention tothis reality that he is with you
always.
He's with you every minute,he's with you every hour, he's
with you every day, he's withyou every week, he's with you
every year, he's with you inevery season, he's with you in
every time.
He is with us.
Not only did he command us to go, on the basis of who he is and

(11:09):
what he's done, but he said okay, I'm not going to leave you
alone.
You go and you make disciples, but I am with you always.
You go and you teach allnations.
I am with you always.
You go and you baptize in thename of the Father, son and
Spirit.
I am with you always, always, always, always, always, always.

(11:33):
See, he doesn't just sort ofstand back, he doesn't just sort
of stand up on a mountainsomewhere.
He doesn't sort of stand up,you know far away, and say, okay
, you go, do it and I'm going towatch you.
No, he is with us.
He's with us.
Okay, you go do it and I'mgoing to watch you.
No, he is with us, he's with usand you know amen today, the
Holy Ghost is with us.
The Holy Ghost is in us.

(11:54):
We are in Christ and Christ isin us.
The Holy Spirit is in us.
We've got Spirit of God, we'vegot Spirit of God leading us.
We've got Spirit of God leadingus and leading us and leading
us.
And hallelujah, he's with us,he's with us.
He's not far away, somewhere,he's not even three feet away,

(12:19):
he's not even one meter away, but he is with us, always,
always, always, always.
And bless God, the Holy Ghostis here.
Bless God.
The Holy Ghost is in us.
Bless God.
The Lord never leaves us, theLord never forsakes us, but he
is with us as we are going andas we are doing this, as we are

(12:41):
going and as we are teaching aswe are going and making
disciples as we are going and weare witnessing as we are going
and we are teaching as we'regoing and making disciples as
we're going and we arewitnessing as we're going and we
are preaching as we're goingand we're ministering as we're
going and we're praying as we'regoing and we're baptizing.
He's with us.
He's with us in our churchmeetings.
He's with us in the churchservices.
He's with us outside of thechurch services.
He's with us all the time as weare going, as we are going, as

(13:04):
we are going, because, hallelujah and amen, he doesn't
want to leave us alone.
Church we're restored to him.
Church we're redeemed by him.
Church we're in relationshipwith him.
And the glorious reality is thatthe Lord does not want to leave
us alone, and so he doesn't.
The Lord does not want to leaveus.

(13:26):
He purchased us, he redeemed us, he ransomed us.
He's forgiven us, he's washedaway the sin.
He's made us born again.
All things are made new in him.
He gave us a new mind, he gaveus a living spirit.
He quickened our dead spirit.
Now we are alive.
And he gave us the Holy Ghost, quickened our dead spirit.

(13:47):
Now we are alive.
And he gave us the holy ghost.
And, my friend, you've got somegifts from the holy ghost.
My friend, you've got someblessings in the holy ghost.
My friend, you are seated withchrist in heavenly places.
And, my friend, we are therecipients of every spiritual
blessing in heavenly places.
And so the lord doesn't leaveus alone because he doesn't want
to leave us alone.
My friend, that would beterrible for us if the Lord left

(14:10):
us alone.
And so he doesn't do it, amen.
And so he is with us at alltimes.
He says I'm with you always, even until the end of the world.
As we're going about, as we aremaking disciples, we got to keep
in mind that there is an end ofthe world.
There is a set time ofcompletion when it comes to this

(14:31):
age.
There is a set time ofcompletion and consummation when
it comes to this time, becausewe are living in the acceptable
year of the Lord, we are livingin the church age, we are living
in an age of grace and thegoodness of God and the mercy of
God and the long suffering ofGod and the blessing of God and
the grace of God is on displaylike never before.

(14:54):
Because, man, there is a timeand you're living in this time
where salvation, salvation is bygrace and through faith.
I mentioned that earlier.
It's salvation by grace andthrough faith Because the Lord
Jesus has done everything and wecan take it back.
The Father provided the Son, theFather gave the Son Because sin

(15:21):
could only be dealt with by theblood.
That's the only way that sincould be dealt with.
It was by the blood, and Goddidn't want it to be our blood,
he didn't want it to be ourdeath, he didn't want it to be
us.
And so the Lord moved himselfin such a way that the Son came

(15:45):
and he took on flesh.
Jesus Christ came in the flesh, and the Lord moved Himself in
such a way that Jesus Himselfand Jesus called Himself the
resurrection and the life.
But he moved Himself in such away that he died.
He shed blood and he died, insuch a way that he died.

(16:07):
He shed blood and he died, andthe Father laid all of our sin
on Jesus and he died On thatcross.
Jesus became our sin and theFather laid our sin upon him and
Jesus died.
And I can't underscore thereality enough that Jesus

(16:31):
experienced death.
God himself, the Lord himself, experienced death.
Now, glory amen.
He didn't stay dead, he's alivetoday and glory hallelujah.
He's never going to die again, but he sure experienced it, but
he's alive today.
And then it goes on, becausethe reality is that we've got

(16:54):
the Holy Ghost.
The Lord moved himself in such away that the Spirit of God
indwells the church.
Jesus is our head and theSpirit of God indwells every
single member, every single man, woman and child who is a born
again, saved, blood-bought,blood-washed, forgiven member of

(17:24):
the church.
The Spirit of God indwells allof us and the Father.
The Father is pleased at this, the Father is pleased and the
Lord is pleased.
And so we're living in a timeof history that is unparalleled.
We're living in a time ofhistory.
I mean, there is a Gentilechurch.
Hallelujah, you know, salvationcame to the Jew first and also

(17:44):
to the Gentile, and the Gentileis grafted in.
And that, my friend, is thegoodness of God on display.
The existence of the Gentilechurch is the goodness of God on
display.
The goodness of God is ondisplay toward Israel.
There is a covenant that theLord made a long time ago, but

(18:09):
that covenant has not diminishedone bit.
There's a covenant in placewith Israel and glory,
hallelujah and amen, becausethis is a time in history like
no other.
The goodness of God is on suchdisplay, and yet there is an end
of the world, there is acompletion of this age and we,

(18:31):
my friend, we make disciples upuntil the end of that last day.
Up until the end of that lastday we make disciples and the
Lord is with us through everysingle day, until the completion
of this world.
King James reads the end of theworld, the completion of this

(18:52):
age.
My friend, that's a gloriousthing.
The Lord is with us as we goand we make disciples.
And, my friend, there is aglorious thing the Lord is with
us as we go and we makedisciples.
And, my friend, there's acompletion of it.
There's an end to this churchage.
There's an ending point, andyou know I don't know it and you
know, go back in the word ofGod.
Only his father knows it.
That belongs to the father.

(19:14):
I don't know, I can't give you acalendar date, but I can tell
you that there is a last day ofthe last days.
I can tell you there is atribulation.
I can tell you there is amillennial kingdom.
I can tell you there's a newheaven and a new earth At the
same time.
I cannot tell you when the endof this age is, but I can tell
you this that the Lord is withus always as we make disciples,

(19:38):
and that call and thatcommission and that sending,
that is in effect every singleday, and the Lord is with us
every single day.
And, my friend, that ought to besuch an encouragement to you,
such a precious, preciousencouragement that, as you are
working in the fields, as youare ministering to the lost

(19:59):
around you, as you'reministering in your countries
and in your cities and yourtowns, wherever you happen to be
, as you're ministering to folks, I want you to know and I want
you to understand, I want you toremember and I want you to
appreciate, I want you torejoice in the fact that Jesus
Christ is with you always.
I want you to turn to Jesus.
I want you to shout to Jesus.
I want you to shout to Jesus, Iwant you to give you a
hallelujah to Jesus.

(20:20):
I want you to give yourthanksgiving to Jesus because he
is with you always.
He is with you in the mostintimate, personal sense of the
word.
He is with you, you are inChrist and Christ is in you Even
into the end of the world.
Bless God and amen.
And so be encouraged in this andbe excited in this as we go and

(20:42):
we make disciples, because wedon't go on the basis of our
human ability, we don't go onthe basis of who we are, we
don't go on the basis of howgood looking we are or anything
like that, how well we can speak, but we go on the basis that
Jesus himself is Lord, jesushimself has finished the work on
the cross and Jesus himself isLord, jesus himself has finished

(21:03):
the work on the cross and Jesushimself is with us always, even
until the end of this age.
Bless God and amen, and I hopeyou're encouraged by that, and I
want to thank you so much forjoining me for this series.
Yeah, three-part series.
If you haven't heard parts oneand two, go back and listen to
those, and I hope the wholething is just real encouragement
to my brothers and my sistersaround the world here.

(21:25):
nations with this broadcast.
I want to encourage you to keepon playing them, not only for
yourself, but for your families, for your communities, for your
cities, for your towns, for yourchurches.
And I want to see the Lordinitially gave me the vision for
this to see people born again,to see people saved and to see

(21:46):
the church edified and built upin these last days.

(22:53):

We're praying for you already,we're looking for you already
and you know, praying that theLord will send us some folks to
help us continue on in thisbuilding, not only in the
physical building, but in themaking of disciples.
