Trent Manning (00:02):
sauce Yeah, I just hit record.

MIC2 (00:04):
hit record.
Oh.
That's

Trent Manning (00:07):
That's why we got bleep bleep

MIC2 (00:08):
got bleep, bleep, bleep.
I downloaded, I

Trent Manning (00:14):
I downloaded the new ringtone.
Er, not ringtone, but Audio clipof bleep.
Just for this.
Yeah.
So we can,

Jake Teeter (00:25):
Good job, Chad.
Good job, Justin.
It's

Trent Manning (00:28):
so we can get rid of all this stuff.

Chad Kintzer (00:29):
for you.

Trent Manning (00:30):
All right.
I think about what I'm gonnasay.
Yeah, this is normally what Ido.
I just sit here and say, Hmm,what am I gonna say?

Chad Kintzer (00:37):
going to say now?

Trent Manning (00:38):
What am I gonna say now?

Chad Kintzer (00:40):
One thing is late.

MIC2 (00:41):
Better case.

Trent Manning (00:42):
Mm hmm.
Dedicated.

MIC2 (00:44):
Only 10.
30 Tuesday, November 19.
Tuesday,

Trent Manning (00:49):
What?
November 19th.
Yep.

MIC2 (00:51):
November 19.

Trent Manning (00:53):
Tuesday, November 19th.
And we're at the Dunes Golf Clubwith Chad Kinzer.
And, Moe, how do you say yourlast name?
Cause I know I'm gonna screwthis up.
Rat tip.
Rat tip.
Like rat tip.
Like a rat tip.

MIC2 (01:11):
I never pronounced

Trent Manning (01:12):
Sorry, sorry man.

MIC2 (01:14):
sorry, man.
I would have

Trent Manning (01:15):
Like a rat tip.
Yeah, yeah, no, that's all good.
And Jake Teeter.
And Justin, your last name?
Is it King?
Is it really King?
Man, I don't know why I was, Iwas thinking it was King.
And then I was like, no, there'sno way that's right.
It's not Justin King.
It's Justin something else.

(01:35):
No, it's Justin King.
And Brian Eplin.
And yeah, anyway, we're here forthe what is the official name?
The Carolina?

Chad Kintzer (01:48):
Show.
Show?

Trent Manning (01:50):
conference, conference and trade show,
conference and trade show big ttag meeting of the minds.
How many people do we have inclass today?
It was up there.
How many did we have afterlunch?

MIC2 (02:05):
Probably about 40.

Trent Manning (02:07):
And then how How many did we have after the
raffle

MIC2 (02:11):
Well, okay, so

Chad Kintzer (02:14):
it was a little better after lunch.
I think everybody was prettymuch there still after lunch,
but I'm pretty sure after theraffle,

Justin King (02:22):
gone.
We'll see how many people arethere after Tuesday.

MIC1 (02:26):
Yeah.
No,

Bryan Epland (02:31):
is odd, because you think, I mean, with you
having that new, new class, I

MIC1 (02:35):
care.

Bryan Epland (02:38):
don't think that would draw a crowd.
No

Trent Manning (02:39):
I mean, honestly, it's the last day of the show is
always the last day of show.
And it doesn't matter if it'sthe Carolina show or the
national show or whatever kindof show it is.
The last day is the last day andpeople want to leave early.
I don't I don't know what thedeal is, but I'm all for staying
to the end.
But most people don't like to dothat.

MIC1 (03:01):
I mean, you know, I came down here to go to

Bryan Epland (03:04):
go to this to educate myself, so.
Staying at the end just makessense to me, but I suppose if
you're a guy that's got to drivea certain distance, I mean,
maybe not.

Chad Kintzer (03:12):
Well, you're staying until Thursday

Justin King (03:13):
anyway, so.
Well, I mean, they do do theoption for Tuesday only.
Oh, I know.
Yeah,

MIC2 (03:21):
how

Trent Manning (03:23):
you get like a 10 break if you only take

MIC2 (03:26):
more than that.
Well, you

Chad Kintzer (03:28):
know, I think it's only for the show, though.
That's for the show.
Like, you can do the conference, you know, just one day.
But just still the classes, Ithink it would be the full, both
days, I don't know.
I

Moe Rateb (03:39):
don't know.
I just clicked all the boxes andsubmitted the invoice.

Trent Manning (03:45):
Yeah, that's the best way.
Take it from Moe, you heard ithere.
Click all the boxes, send in theinvoice.

MIC2 (03:53):
it.
That's great.

Trent Manning (03:54):
Just make sure you got a PO number to go with

MIC2 (03:56):
it.
Jake.
He's looking at the conference.
Yeah, yeah.
What

Trent Manning (04:00):
What are you figuring out over

MIC2 (04:01):
there?
Jake?
I don't know how he can see itthrough the freaking earpieces.
You

Justin King (04:06):
should open the glasses up before you try to
look.
I wish we had video for that

Jake Teeter (04:09):
one.
Yeah, we don't.
We need to get a video going.
95 for the full package.
195

Trent Manning (04:16):
for the full

Jake Teeter (04:16):
That's not too bad.
Yeah.
Tuesday only is

Trent Manning (04:20):
So you

Jake Teeter (04:22):
so you save 30

Trent Manning (04:23):
30, 30, 30 saving,

MIC2 (04:26):
Tuesday's a long day though.
Yeah.
yeah.

Trent Manning (04:29):
No, it is a long day.

MIC2 (04:30):
short day.
Yep for sure

Trent Manning (04:33):
What was the most interesting thing y'all seen?
And we'll go one at, one at atime and we're going to start
with Chad.

Chad Kintzer (04:39):
Most interesting thing we've seen at the

MIC1 (04:41):
Yeah,

Trent Manning (04:41):
yeah.
Whatever.
I don't, my face, whatever.
I don't care.

Chad Kintzer (04:45):
Most interesting thing.
I really like the steel, thesteel presentation was really
good.
I was out talking to them afterwe were all done.
and the I like the zero turnelectric zero turn.
They have, that's pretty neat.
We were out there checking itout.
You can add, they have a blowerattachment for the front of it
and everything.
And I'm interested in me becausewe try to blow off the parking

(05:08):
lot with one of those big skag.
Stand on blowers and that thingis so loud.
We actually had the hotel acrossthe swash call and complain.
It was waking up hotel patronsand we're like, okay, so I mean
that would be something I thinkwould cut down on noise.

MIC1 (05:26):
So they had

Trent Manning (05:27):
it here,

MIC2 (05:28):
Yeah, it was sitting

Chad Kintzer (05:28):
out, it was sitting outside.

MIC1 (05:30):
Yeah.
I

MIC2 (05:30):
it.

Chad Kintzer (05:31):
Yeah, they had the zero turn and then they had the
sit down one and they also hadthe one you stand on.
They were both there and I wastalking to them and I guess they
do eight hours, but it dependson if you're just doing a
maintenance cut or if you'redoing like, you know, cutting a
whole bunch of grass.
Sorry.

(05:51):
So if it's a whole bunch ofgrass, he said it would
probably, you know, I mean, there's no set like how much it
changes it, but he said that itwill change the time that
obviously the draw on it wouldbe a lot more.
So be less time.

Trent Manning (06:05):
So if they were mowing a lot of grass.
Yeah.
It wouldn't

Chad Kintzer (06:08):
run as well.
He said it's 8 hours.
8 hours on like a maintenancecut.
Hmm.
I thought that was pretty good.
We don't run ours ever for 8hours in a day

Trent Manning (06:18):
like that.
Right.
I know.
Our operators don't operate foreight hours a day.

Chad Kintzer (06:23):
sit down and watch them a lot.

Trent Manning (06:24):
you know, they're on their phones for at least an
hour a day in the woodssomewhere.

Chad Kintzer (06:30):
Yeah, that's one of the problems.
One of our guys, he used to dothat all the time.
Picking up golf balls in thewoods, he'd get all kinds of
crap stuck underneath theblades.
Yeah.

MIC1 (06:37):
What do you

Trent Manning (06:37):
think Mo?

Moe Rateb (06:38):
I like Kayla's presentation about CTM
attesting.
And it was a lot more than Ithought it would be.
Like, just the fire extinguisherpart.
Where the signs should goinstead of just having them
there to check a box again.
But yeah, so that gives me like, you know, the next year or

(07:00):
something to Work towards,'causethis year will be my second
year.
And then my third year will befollowing after that.
So I'll be ready for that.

MIC1 (07:12):
You got your E.
M.
C.
One and

MIC2 (07:14):
two.

Moe Rateb (07:14):
I got the study guides and all that.
Just need to sit down and do'em.
Mm-Hmm.
you know, you can do'em.
They pay for two

Chad Kintzer (07:22):
classes a year.
What do you mean at ttac?
If you can register to takeclasses, you can do two classes
a year.
They'll send you the books, andyou can go take the test.
Two of them a year they do.
Oh, well you

Moe Rateb (07:34):
can take them online.
Right,

Chad Kintzer (07:36):
sure you can, but you don't have to pay for them.
The GCSA pays for them.
The Carolinas.
My city pays for them.
Well sure, my work paid for ours

MIC2 (07:44):
too, but.

Trent Manning (07:45):
But you moved off a t tac and got yours paid

MIC2 (07:48):
for it.
Most of them.

Trent Manning (07:49):
instead of getting your club to play for
him.
Yeah.

MIC1 (07:52):
Okay.
Make

Moe Rateb (07:52):
like six of them.
Oh yeah.
And the other thing R and R hasthat program still where they
you get a credit basically of115 bucks to pay your GCSA dues.

Trent Manning (08:05):
hmm.
Yeah, everybody know about

MIC2 (08:09):
that.
Jake.

Trent Manning (08:12):
Nope.
Jake didn't know about that.

MIC2 (08:13):
know about that.
Yeah.
Jake pulls the flags out on thetri plane.

Chad Kintzer (08:17):
Do you remember that?

MIC2 (08:17):
I

Trent Manning (08:19):
think that was my

MIC2 (08:20):
first year.
I was

Chad Kintzer (08:20):
telling that story the other night.
I don't know who I was tellingthat to, but it was so funny.
We were just dying laughing.
Remember that?
We were all sitting around thetable having a good time
talking, you know, justwhatever.
And you're like, yeah, I wasdoing, I don't even remember
what you were trying to do.
And I'm trying to drive acrossthe green and pull the flag out
off the mower and we're alllike, what?
And I'm like,

MIC2 (08:41):
what?

Chad Kintzer (08:42):
And you're like, what man, that's the way I was
taught to do

Trent Manning (08:44):
yeah.
No, that's a big, big no, no.
At most places.

MIC2 (08:49):
thanks.

Trent Manning (08:49):
we do

MIC1 (08:51):
things.
Doubling down.

Justin King (08:53):
Double in doubt.

Trent Manning (08:54):
down.
He's

Justin King (08:56):
He's not giving up.

MIC2 (08:56):
Did

Moe Rateb (09:01):
you at least have your seatbelt on?
He might even add flip flops

MIC2 (09:04):
along the way.
Maybe Crocs.

Moe Rateb (09:09):
Safety flops.

Chad Kintzer (09:12):
Steel, steel bottom flops.
With the bottle opener.

MIC2 (09:16):
When

Trent Manning (09:23):
I worked for Jerry Pate, I was at Georgia,
Georgia Southern University.
And I don't remember.

MIC2 (09:31):
He was

Trent Manning (09:31):
coach of some sort, and I don't remember what
coach he was.
But he got a brand new 3500,

MIC2 (09:38):
and I

Trent Manning (09:39):
don't remember why I was out there.
But I'm talking to the guy, andhe said, The only problem I have
with this mower is when

MIC2 (09:50):
I

Trent Manning (09:51):
put my beer in the cup holder, grass gets in my

MIC2 (09:55):
beer.

Trent Manning (09:56):
And yeah,

MIC2 (09:57):
is, I

Trent Manning (09:58):
I just can't deal

MIC2 (09:59):
with it.
So he

Trent Manning (10:00):
he had come up with his own.
I forgot about that from last

MIC2 (10:06):
here.

Trent Manning (10:07):
No, no.
Yeah.
The refrigerator running orfreezer or whatever it is.

MIC1 (10:13):
Yeah.

Moe Rateb (10:16):
Does it have an alarm?

MIC2 (10:19):
That is the alarm.
Well, it's good to see they gotit fixed.
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, it's a brand new one.

Bryan Epland (10:27):
Nah, compared to Okay.

Chad Kintzer (10:29):
Sign language.
No beeps for that one.

MIC2 (10:33):
video, we'd have to blur that out.
It'd be a little blur.

Trent Manning (10:38):
A little blur.

Jake Teeter (10:39):
do you

Trent Manning (10:41):
think, Jake?
What would you like?
What'd you enjoy?

Jake Teeter (10:43):
The most amazing thing I saw was Justin King
eating five plus sushi rolls.

MIC2 (10:47):
Hmm.

Trent Manning (10:49):
Yeah, what was the count on that?
What was the total

MIC2 (10:51):
count?
Well, because

MIC1 (10:52):
it's the last.

Trent Manning (10:54):
How many did you order?
Let's

MIC2 (10:55):
start order three.

Trent Manning (10:56):
He ordered three.
He ate those

MIC2 (10:59):
in three

Trent Manning (10:59):
minutes and 33 seconds.
Fastest sushi eater I've everseen.

Bryan Epland (11:04):
then whatever else

Trent Manning (11:08):
ring.
And

Justin King (11:09):
were partials so it's hard to tell now

MIC1 (11:15):
I

Justin King (11:16):
to guess, it was somewhere between five and six
rolls.

MIC2 (11:19):
okay,

Trent Manning (11:19):
that's that's fair

MIC2 (11:20):
So

Trent Manning (11:22):
you feeling?
Right, right ready to go for arun.

MIC2 (11:27):
Ready to go, yeah.

Trent Manning (11:28):
ready go for a

MIC1 (11:29):
run

Moe Rateb (11:38):
Justin Yum Yum King.
Okay.

Trent Manning (11:40):
Yeah, I mean I'm down with that.

Moe Rateb (11:42):
He

Bryan Epland (11:43):
wanted to tell that story without the language.
Not the weirdest nickname I'veever had.

MIC1 (11:47):
Yeah.

Trent Manning (11:48):
Yum Yum.
But yeah, y'all want to tell thestory?
Might as well.
We're talking about

MIC2 (11:54):
it.

Chad Kintzer (12:01):
So we're sitting there eating, of course.
And, brian and I are just stupidfor some reason.
I don't know why.
We always are.
And he's like, look, he's like, there's some yum yum sauce over
there.
And for whatever reason, Justinhad his back to us and we were
acting like we were going to putit over there and say, here, the
waiter put it over there for us.
But I'm like, nah, I just hithim on the side.

(12:23):
I just go, Hey man, I said, youwant some yum yum sauce?
And he goes, you interrupted myeffing conversation for effing
yum yum sauce.
And he looked at me like I was, like it was my wife looking at
me.
He gave me the dirtiest look.
He was so mad.
I was like, I was defeated.
I was like, I hung my head.
I was like, but it's yum yumsauce.

(12:44):
It was very funny.
What about the, what about ourwaiter that looked

MIC1 (12:53):
like

Trent Manning (12:53):
yeah, I don't, I don't think we should go

MIC2 (12:55):
there.

Trent Manning (12:56):
Yeah.
Yeah, I, I, I would like torelease this episode.
So I really, I really don'tthink, I really

MIC2 (13:03):
don't

Trent Manning (13:03):
think we should

MIC2 (13:04):
we should get there.
No.
Okay.
Yeah.

Trent Manning (13:07):
I mean we could just for fun and then we'll I'll

MIC2 (13:09):
just edit

Trent Manning (13:10):
all out if you want to but Yeah, that's not

MIC2 (13:13):
somehow.

Trent Manning (13:14):
that's not something that we can air.

Jake Teeter (13:17):
But on a serious note, I agree with Mo about
Kayla's presentation.
And a lot of it has to do withthe fact that we've got an OSHA
inspection coming up inDecember.
And she raised a lot of goodpoints about what we've got to
get ready for.

MIC1 (13:32):
Yeah, how do you know

Trent Manning (13:33):
you got an OSHA?

Jake Teeter (13:34):
We scheduled it.

MIC1 (13:35):
it.

Trent Manning (13:35):
Okay.

Jake Teeter (13:36):
It's a free thing.
OSHA will come out and inspectyour shop, give you a list of
what you've got to fix, and tellyou how much time you've got to
fix it, and figure out how muchmoney you've got to spend to fix
it.

Moe Rateb (13:48):
Oh yeah, we had, we had that earlier this year.
Yeah, it's not too bad.

Trent Manning (13:55):
Yeah, I mean, that's a good service.
Yeah, how would you set thatservice up?

Jake Teeter (14:00):
You just contact OSHA and say we want your, I
think they call it mockinspection.
Okay.
And they'll schedule when, andthey want to come out in the
middle of summer, which is abusy season.

MIC1 (14:10):
hmm.

Jake Teeter (14:11):
Can you come in the winter?
We get a chance to geteverything kind of straight.

Trent Manning (14:15):
yeah.

MIC2 (14:16):
So.

Trent Manning (14:17):
And when did you say they're coming?

MIC2 (14:19):
December 10th, I think.
Okay, So, December 11th, you'llbe looking for a job.

Trent Manning (14:26):
How about you, Justin?
What, what did you enjoy

Justin King (14:29):
I also enjoyed the steel class.
I thought the, the battery stuffwas interesting.
Cause whether we like it or not,you know, it's gonna get there
at some point.
And that was the first I heardof the claim that their
batteries can last 7 to 10years.
That's a bold claim.
Yeah, I would agree with that.
But if it's true, I mean, that's, it makes the upfront
cost seem a little bit

Bryan Epland (14:50):
better.
It kind of offsets Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Chris Eden, the territorymanager where I'm at in
Nebraska, he, he had a pricechart that kind of compared it
over, like, say it was like fiveyears, and it was like apples to
apples.
By the time you do fuel and oil,you know, anything, you know,
carbon air parts, air filters, things like that, so.

Chad Kintzer (15:05):
Well, that's what he said when we were out there
talking to him.
He said five years, he said.
Actually, I didn't even think hesaid it was that long.
I mean, he said it was a coupleyears.
Yeah, I mean, I was justthrowing a number down.
No, no, I could find the

Bryan Epland (15:16):
document of it.
Do

Chad Kintzer (15:18):
you have it with

Bryan Epland (15:18):
you?
Yeah, I keep it in my backpocket.
Thank you.

Justin King (15:21):
I mean, it seems like things like the, again,
like, that's true, longevity, they've kind of taken care of.
Power, it seems like thesebattery tools have good power.
I think the biggest thing willbe weight for some of these
tools.
So, but it'll get there, I mean, but I thought that was
interesting.

Trent Manning (15:39):
definitely the the backpack and the

MIC2 (15:41):
weight I don't know.
Yeah, yeah.

Trent Manning (15:45):
something it's gonna be hard to we'll have a
hand truck with a batteryrolling it around for a backpack

Bryan Epland (15:51):
I mean he did say that though, he said, you know,
if we get these high amp powerbatteries then they do get a
little heavy.
So at least they know it andthey're honest about it too.

MIC1 (15:59):
Now the freezer's on.

Trent Manning (16:00):
It's great.

MIC2 (16:01):
Sorry.

Trent Manning (16:02):
Just working poor Chad death here having him
unplug everything in his breakroom.
Yep.

Moe Rateb (16:09):
And that water fountain might go off too.

MIC2 (16:12):
Yep,

Trent Manning (16:12):
Might as well just go

MIC2 (16:14):
well unplug it while you're drinking.
I need a drink first.

Jake Teeter (16:19):
Oh, man.
Is it time clock strike twelve?
Yeah.
As

Trent Manning (16:25):
Nice.
How about you, Brian?
What, what did you

MIC2 (16:29):
enjoy?

Bryan Epland (16:30):
Mine, mine was the Kohler one.
It was, it was reallyinteresting to see and I was
talking, I think, to you aboutit afterwards.
You know, that's the directionthings are going outside.
If it's not, if it's not batterypowered, it's fuel injection.
And you can't, you know, diagnose a fuel injection system
with MAP sensors, crank sensors, all that stuff.
It's not something you can justdo on the fly.
So, being able to see the tool, have, you know, have the, have

(16:51):
it all explained, and how youwent over the simple, the
diagnosis that you can dowithout the tool, that was
really nice to see.
And you did a really good jobdoing that too, Mike.

MIC1 (17:00):
Yeah, I would love to,

Trent Manning (17:01):
Get him back

MIC2 (17:02):
out in our local area and Have him back.

Trent Manning (17:06):
watch that presentation again.
Because, yeah, being able toview the live data and stuff.
I mean, that's

Bryan Epland (17:11):
was really nice.
I mean, seeing that, seeing thebarometric pressure and all that
stuff, it was, I mean, it's allin that little Bluetooth deal.
It's really neat.
They gave us the app last yearwhen they were here.

MIC1 (17:21):
We got the

Bryan Epland (17:22):
app

MIC2 (17:22):
last year?
That

Bryan Epland (17:24):
was Club Car, wasn't it?
No, it was Kohler.

Moe Rateb (17:27):
Well, it's the Kohler app.
I went to Club Car in August.

Bryan Epland (17:31):
But it was Club Car that, right, that they were
talking about here, wasn't it?

Moe Rateb (17:35):
Well, there's a special club car engine for all
the Kohlers, or all the clubcars, there's a Kohler engine.

Bryan Epland (17:45):
Yeah, I thought it was club cars as you were
talking about that.
But yeah, either way, it's aneat app, and all the live guys
can get

Chad Kintzer (17:51):
it.
Yeah, So what

Trent Manning (17:51):
the app

Chad Kintzer (17:52):
do?
Well, yeah, you need the thingto plug in in order to get it to
read the diagnostics.
But you can go in there, all thevideos.
They have all kinds of trainingvideos.

Bryan Epland (18:03):
Well that's the other thing, on their YouTube
channel, I didn't know that.
That they have what's it called?
Kohler University on YouTube.
And they've got all these videosto help you diagnose all this
stuff too, so.
It's nice that they're puttingthat information out there and
not just keeping it, you know, you don't have to buy a 50 page
service manual or

Moe Rateb (18:19):
On the, the app, without it being hooked up to
Bluetooth.
It has the manual for thatengine, like you scroll through
to pick your engine, and then ithas all kinds of icons, and the
manual for it is right there.
And it's got like, pin wiringand all that good stuff.

MIC1 (18:36):
Oh wow.
That's awesome.
Yeah, I mean, that's worthgetting the app just for

Jake Teeter (18:40):
that Yeah, it is.
I got a tribute for you guys.
What's the new name of Kohler?

MIC1 (18:45):
Yeah, it look, I

Trent Manning (18:46):
don't know how you would

MIC2 (18:46):
pronounce it.
Relco.
Relco?
Relco.

Trent Manning (18:49):
Reko.

MIC2 (18:49):
Mm-Hmm.

Moe Rateb (18:50):
R-E-H-L-K-O.
And isn't it Kohler,

Jake Teeter (18:53):
with just They jumbled the words.
Yeah, they just scrambled thewords up.
Yeah, I guess they're trying toget away from the bathroom
stuff.
I.
I

Trent Manning (19:00):
thought it was pretty funny.
The, the krieger.
What do day?

MIC2 (19:02):
say?
Yeah.
He said he's got to go work onsome toilets

Chad Kintzer (19:07):
or something.
Go work on some sinks, faucets.
It was funny because as he saidthat, the guy was walking past
me.
He's like, I hear it all thetime.
All the time.
He just kept walking.
He didn't even miss a beat.
He just kept going.

Trent Manning (19:23):
yeah, I'm sure he gets tired of

Chad Kintzer (19:26):
I didn't think he acted like he was tired of it.
He's just,

Trent Manning (19:29):
over and over

Chad Kintzer (19:29):
again.
Yeah, I hear it all the time.
All the time.
Old joke.

MIC1 (19:33):
It was a dad

Bryan Epland (19:36):
Wasn't new to us, though.

MIC1 (19:37):
year.
Every year.

Trent Manning (19:38):
He's never missed a beat.
Ever.
He sells it.
Well, you know what

MIC2 (19:46):
group.
He's never missed a beat.
Yeah.
No.
He's

Trent Manning (19:49):
I mean, I

MIC2 (19:51):
he does it, you know what I mean?
He sells it away.
Well,

Chad Kintzer (19:54):
you know, and the nice part is, like I said, now
they can just walk right backpast the parking lot where we
were at this year.
What did you guys think aboutthe new place?

Bryan Epland (20:02):
It was good.
I think that you know, growingpains maybe, just with the
microphone cutting in and out,and then maybe having monitors
maybe or something closer forthe back guys.
Because I think that, I didn'tsit in the back, I was in the
front.
I thought maybe it was hard tosee from the back, but I did
stand back there.

Chad Kintzer (20:19):
We did get spoiled over at Market Common.
100%.
Because there was like 10screens in there that you could
just set everything up on.
And you know, most of the timethat's enclosed.
I mean, the area we're in now isso open, you can't really do it
without the microphone.
Right.
But I thought it was nice.
I liked it.
I mean, I like the fact thatwe're right there at the

(20:40):
convention center.
I mean, that's, instead ofhaving to drive all the way from
Market Common over, you know, plus I think it'll be easier to
find.
I mean, that one at MarketCommon is kind of buried back in
there a little bit.

Bryan Epland (20:53):
I'm kind of going back to what Tim Krieger said
there.
He was talking about how specialit is.
I agree with them, you know, what you guys have here at TTAC,
and, and, you know, how manypeople you get to attend all
this, it's, it's all inspiring.
I mean, I'm happy in our area ifwe get 40 guys or 30, it's
awesome.
But, the education that you guysare able to provide is great,
and that's why I come down hereevery year.

(21:14):
Yeah, it's awesome.
When I first

Chad Kintzer (21:16):
started going, we probably had about 40, 60 guys.
I mean, it's double.
You know, it's, it's good.
I mean, I love it.
I love it.
It's My favorite time of theyear right now, you know when
everybody comes down and we canall have fun.
Oh yeah, you know and you havethe classes and stuff and I

(21:36):
mean, it's a lot of work But Imean to me it's just it's just
fun because you get to do allthe work with all your friends
and stuff

MIC2 (21:43):
When the, the sad thing is, how many people

Trent Manning (21:46):
from Myrtle Beach are here?

Chad Kintzer (21:48):
I Mean if I had a count, I would say there was
probably 10, maybe, at the most15, but I don't think it was
that many.
I think it was probably about10.

MIC1 (21:58):
Yeah That's

Justin King (21:59):
How many courses are in there?
Oh, it's 100.

Chad Kintzer (22:02):
Ridiculous.
I mean, yeah, from, from NorthCarolina down to, say, Pawleys
Island, I mean, there's gotta be100 golf courses.
Easy.

Bryan Epland (22:14):
You've got education, you just walk out
your back door and you're therepretty much in You got people
traveling from a long ways awayto come do it.

Chad Kintzer (22:21):
Yeah, it's crazy.
It just goes to show you, man.
You can lead a horse to waterand you can't make him drink.
That's why I set up for thelongest time I tried to get guys
to come out and have a chapterhere in Myrtle Beach.
Because, I mean, with the amountof people that we have, we could
do exactly what we do here everyyear.
We could do, you know, we couldspread it out over the year.
Do, you know, how many classes?

(22:42):
Five classes?
I mean, anybody would come anddo a class for that many people.
We could do amazing things.
And nobody wanted to.
Nobody wanted to do it.
I couldn't get anybody to comeout.
Hell, I invited like guys justto go to lunch.
Nothing.
I was the only one that showedup.

Jake Teeter (23:00):
How about lunch?
How about the two guys that camefrom South Jersey and
Pennsylvania?
He's helping all those guys.
No, that's love those guys, man.
Yeah,

Trent Manning (23:10):
this

MIC1 (23:11):
But I

Moe Rateb (23:12):
but I'll say from last year was my first meeting.
Our conference to this yearbeing my second one.
What I learned from theconference and the trade show,

MIC1 (23:23):
about

Moe Rateb (23:24):
being able to apply it throughout the year and
adding onto it, I mean tenfoldon what I've learned.

Chad Kintzer (23:32):
It was just inspiring to go there and see
all those people gatheredtogether.
With a common goal to be betterat what our job is, I mean,
that's what we're all trying todo is hone our profession and,
you know, be as good as we canbe.
And I mean, when you see thatamount of guys come out together
at one time, I mean, even thoughthey leave after the awards.

Justin King (23:53):
Well, it's you can come down here and not go to a
single class, and just thenetworking, you can go back to
your course and you can learn abunch just from talking to
people.
So, you know,

Chad Kintzer (24:05):
that's why I never, I never, like for the
golf, I say it every year.
I don't ever put a team in likeI'm friends with all a bunch of
guys.
I mean, I could get a wholebunch of the guys to play with,
but I don't, I like to play andplay with a different group each
year.
I mean, you know, you get tomeet other people and just have
a good time.
I mean, that's the best place toreally get to know somebody when

(24:25):
you're not in like some type of,you know, Working environment or
professional environment, youknow, you're just out trying to
have fun and that's why I enjoyit the golfing side of it anyway
i'm terrible, but You're gonnastay a week over there.
I'm not disagreeing with youIt's nobody

MIC2 (24:43):
No, but i'm about

Trent Manning (24:44):
to doze

MIC2 (24:44):
off

Trent Manning (24:46):
here.

MIC2 (24:48):
I did now

Trent Manning (24:51):
You'll put us right to sleep.
Yeah.
Mo.
How did you find out about us?

Moe Rateb (24:58):
So before me in my position, There were, my then
assistant superintendent was themechanic.
And he went, because he's beenin since high school, playing
golf at that golf course.
And My superintendent, ToddBaker.

(25:18):
he's been like a member for like40 years or something.
And he told me about it.
My assistant was like, Yeah,it's a great time.
But when I came, I just came bymyself.
So like the network andeverything, I met you.
I discovered your podcast like acouple months before.

(25:39):
So that got me in.
And then The WhatsApp groupafter that, that, like, blew it
open.

MIC1 (25:47):
The rest is history.

Moe Rateb (25:48):
Yeah.
What was your

MIC2 (25:50):
favorite part of the show?
You've never

Trent Manning (25:51):
you found the whatsapp group.
I don't, that's a good question.
I mean, I,

MIC2 (25:56):
your question.

Trent Manning (25:57):
yeah, I always, yeah, of course it was a good
question.
I come

MIC2 (26:00):
up with it.
Ha ha ha.
Yeah.
Don't hit the table.

Trent Manning (26:04):
Yeah.
I don't,

SOUND_PAD (26:06):
Pshh!

Trent Manning (26:07):
I got the sound effect right here.
It's D I just got to remember.
So yeah, y'all made theimpersonation again of that.
Still was really good.
Still is always really good.
Always enjoy that.
I was surprised, though, that Somany people raised their hand
and said they grease the nasalneedle bearing.

(26:29):
Yeah.
On the clutch drum of theirchainsaws.
And I'm sure some people dothat, but I don't think there's
a lot of people doing

MIC2 (26:37):
that.
He

Justin King (26:38):
called it out right there.
I can't believe we have allthese lines.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm not ashamed to admit that Idon't do it.
Yeah.
No, I've

Trent Manning (26:44):
I've never done it.
I didn't know it was a thing.
I've replaced the needle

MIC2 (26:48):
bearings.
Oh, sure.
I didn't

Trent Manning (26:49):
I didn't

Moe Rateb (26:49):
on it but I put like

MIC1 (26:51):
he'd

Moe Rateb (26:52):
PB Blaster or something on it, cause you know.
But that chain guard thing, thechain catch.
Where's the needle bearings?
I didn't know that.
In the clutch.
In

Bryan Epland (27:01):
the clutch.
In the trunk.
Take the drum off your needlebearings.
He

Chad Kintzer (27:05):
didn't even know where it was.
I guess he's never greased it.
I'm pretty sure I saw it withhis hand up today too.
No.

Jake Teeter (27:12):
I was sleeping in it.
No.
I think I was in the shower.
You said you were sleeping.
Oh,

Chad Kintzer (27:16):
that's probably when you were in the shower.
I was in the shower then.
Oh my God.
Did you hear, did you hear aboutthat one?
No.
So I come over late cause I hadto go get blood work, you know,
pull in, Jake's walking outthrough.
I'm like, where are you going, man?
He goes, man, my shower takes 20minutes to warm up.
He goes, I didn't have time toget a shower this morning

(27:37):
because I'm going back home, back to the room to get a shower
now.
He goes, I'm just going to letit run until it gets hot.
He goes, I took a cold showeryesterday.
I'm not taking one.

MIC1 (27:45):
Yeah.
I don't blame you there.
I mean, life's

Trent Manning (27:46):
too short to take a cold shower.
No.

Moe Rateb (27:49):
That's why I like hotels.

MIC1 (27:50):
hotel.

Moe Rateb (27:51):
Another

Trent Manning (27:52):
It's all good.

Moe Rateb (27:52):
Unlimited hot showers.

Trent Manning (27:55):
Mm.

Bryan Epland (27:56):
He's got a hotel.
Felt good today.
Yeah, it's an unlimited hotshower if you let it warm up for
30 minutes.
Yeah.

MIC2 (28:03):
Yeah.

Trent Manning (28:04):
Well, we've only been going 30 minutes.
We got a

Chad Kintzer (28:06):
way to go Well, you know what you ought to do is
tell a story about gettinglocked out of a room when he got
here.

MIC1 (28:13):
Oh yeah.
That's a

MIC2 (28:13):
good story.
Yeah.

MIC1 (28:14):
Yeah.
We can share that story.

Bryan Epland (28:15):
Yeah so I got an Airbnb or something and me and
Chad were hanging out in there.
I got all my bags up there andthen Jake gets a hold of them
and says, Hey, let me ride withyou.
So we're like, well, shit.
Sorry to curse him, but.
So he said we gotta go down andget the golf bag.
So I'm like, okay, I'm gonnaleave my phone up here in
charge.
So I'll text you my room code.

(28:36):
So I wrote the code to the door.
I text that to Chad.
We go down there, come back upand the code won't work.
And there's no way to get in.
So, we try and try and try andget ourselves locked out any
further than the keypad wouldn'twork at that point.
And so I'm like, alright, wellI'll just go down to the lobby,
surely she can get a hold ofsomebody.
Because my phone's in the room,I can't get a hold of the owner.

(28:57):
And so she says, well it's aprivate residence, we can't, we
don't have their information, wehave no way to get a hold of
them.
So, at this point, these guysleave.
Oh, we did it.

Chad Kintzer (29:06):
Don't you remember we were up there knocking on the
door?
Oh,

Bryan Epland (29:09):
that's right, you tell that part of the story.

Chad Kintzer (29:12):
So we're up there.
We're knocking on doors.
I said, well, I said, cause thebalcony, you know, they're real
close together.
I said, well, maybe we can just, cause we, his balcony that
locked it didn't work to lockthe balcony.
So they just put this littlelatch on it.
Well, when we went out of theroom, we left it unlatched for
whatever reason.
He's like, well, nobody's goingto break in.
So.
So I'm like, I'm in my mind, I'mthinking, well, maybe I can just

(29:32):
step across from one to theother.
This is on the 14th

Bryan Epland (29:35):
story.

Chad Kintzer (29:37):
So I'm like, if it's not real far, I said, we
can just step across.
So we go back up to the room.
I'm like, come on, let's go up.
We're just going to knock ondoors till somebody opens and
we'll let us in.
So the room to the right, therewere no lights on the room to
the left.
There was lights on.
So I'm standing there knockingon the door.
All of a sudden the elevatoropens up and these people come
walking out, walk right to thedoor.
I go, perfect.

(29:58):
I was just knocking on yourdoor.
And they're all like, Oh my God,just, just let it go.
And I'm like, I'm like, look, doyou care if I come in your room?
And I said, we were locked outof here.
I said, can I come in your roomand just go see how far it is
from balcony to balcony?
And the girl was like, Oh myGod, no.
And the dude's like, yeah, comeon.
So I go walking into Rome, gowalking back through him.

(30:19):
And I, he opens up the balcony.
I go, look, I'm like, Oh, Isaid, there's no way I could do
that.
Cause it's so the, where the,you know, the wall's just real
thin.
But they have like a T, youknow, so that you can't do
exactly what I wanted to do.
So I come walking back out and Igo, yeah, I said, I don't think
I could do it.
Well, no, you're not doing it.
Absolutely not.

(30:40):
And then we leave.

Bryan Epland (30:41):
Yeah, they left.
And, and so then I ended uphaving to call Locksmith.
Cause that's, I had to get inthe room and I didn't have a
choice.
I couldn't get ahold of nobody.
So I'm thinking he can just pickthe lock and be in business.
Well, he gets up there and heimmediately goes, Oh, I'm in
business.
And I'm like, that can't begood.
And he said, yeah, these thingsare new, and they're, like, he
said, I can't get into this.
I'm like, okay, well, I guessyou have to drill it out.
Like, what do you know when Igotta get in there?

(31:03):
So, then there's these two lockboxes right below it for, like,
the maids or whatever.
I said, well, he starts drillingon the main lock, the expensive
one.
And I said, well, wait a minute, let's drill these, these out
first.
He's like, yeah, that's probablya good idea.
I was like, I'm not thelocksmith.
Like, this is, you know, youshould have thought of that
before I did.
So, he ends up drilling oneopen.
We get it open.
The key doesn't work.

(31:23):
I'm like, oh, this is goinggreat.
50 50 shot.
We're already wrong.
And so he gets the other one.
It's a newer version, so ittakes him like 10 minutes.
He drills all over it.
It won't open.
Then he gets a pair of ascrewdriver and breaks it open.
And that key finally let me in.
And it charged me like 250, 300,somewhere in there.
But I'm gonna try to reimbursefor it.
We'll see.
I mean Well, yeah.

MIC2 (31:44):
What about the, lock boxes?

Bryan Epland (31:47):
They'll have to replace them.
I got ahold of the owner once Igot in there.
And they were like, well whydidn't you call us?
I said, well I wish I couldhave, but my phone was in the
room, locked up.

Chad Kintzer (31:56):
Which was the funny part, because he was going
to take it along.

MIC1 (31:59):
because he goes,

Chad Kintzer (32:00):
So we were getting ready to leave, and he goes,
well my phone needs charged.
He goes, I'm really funny aboutmaking sure it's charged all the
time.
And I go, well, just leave it inhere.
Just text me the code.
And I'm thinking in my mind, Ihave a terrible memory.
If I look at a number and then Igo to type it in again, I'll
have to look back and forth likeseven times.
And even though it was only sixnumbers, I would have had to

(32:21):
keep looking back and forth toget it.
But he's just like, Oh, I gotit.
And he texted to me.
And I'm thinking, man, that wasawfully quick to know those six
numbers.
And I'm like, okay.
So we go down and come back upand it wouldn't work.
And the code wouldn't work.
And I'm thinking.
Are you sure you put, I knowman, I looked right at him.
I know I put them in right, butwe blamed it on Jake.

(32:41):
So it don't matter if youwouldn't arrive.
I don't know how he thought hewas going to fit into mini
Cooper anyway.
The clubs would barely fit inthe back.

Bryan Epland (32:47):
Yeah.
So like after the locksmith andall that stuff, they, I get
ahold of people finally, andthey, they, so all they did was
they reset the code.
They took the old one out andput the new one in and it
started working.
And so we have no idea whathappened.
I, I don't know.
And yeah, the lock boxes, theyjust said they'll have to
replace them.
I mean, it's not a big deal,but.
But, I mean, that was the cheapalternative compared to that, I

(33:08):
don't know, 400 touchpad lockthing they have.
I don't know, but

Chad Kintzer (33:11):
I tell you

Bryan Epland (33:12):
what,

Chad Kintzer (33:12):
he took

Bryan Epland (33:13):
it

Chad Kintzer (33:13):
way better than I would have.
I was dying laughing, but it,because I wasn't in that
situation.
Probably if I'd have been inthat situation.
I don't think I would havehandled

Bryan Epland (33:20):
it as well as he did.
I can't wait to tell Jordan Rothhere just cause we had problems
with my rental car down in Utah.
So he had to rent it and hesaid, I tried to get him to come
down here and he said, I'm notletting you rent a car.
You, you, you're bad luck.
So, I guess I'm

MIC1 (33:33):
bad.
Yeah, it continues.

Chad Kintzer (33:34):
was pretty funny.

Bryan Epland (33:35):
It was.
You took it like a champ

Chad Kintzer (33:38):
though, man.
Well, what was I gonna do?
Get mad?
Like, there was nothing to bemad about.
I mean, I'm sure there was.
You were locked out of yourroom.
Your phone was in there.
Jake made us a freaking video.
Yeah, it's always my fault.
I had my wallet.
I was okay.
I could

Bryan Epland (33:49):
have went and gotten, like, dinner.
You know, I'd have been alright.
Yeah.
Yeah, of all things to have, Ihad my wallet, not the thing I
needed to get in the room.

Chad Kintzer (33:56):
That was too much.

Bryan Epland (34:01):
It was, it was a good time.
So, basically, what we'resaying, Jake, is you owe me 300
bucks.

MIC1 (34:06):
laughter take cash check or charge?

Jake Teeter (34:10):
You take Bitcoin, I'll hook you up.
Oh, sure, yeah.

Trent Manning (34:13):
Bitcoin.

Jake Teeter (34:13):
Jake

Moe Rateb (34:14):
is our honorary that guy on the crew.

Trent Manning (34:17):
that's funny.

com.
Let's get back to the episode.
Well, what about trade showfloor?
Anything interesting?

MIC2 (34:57):
was a little

Chad Kintzer (34:57):
bigger, I think, this year than last year.

MIC2 (34:59):
Yeah, okay.
I think there were a few more

Chad Kintzer (35:01):
vendors.
How about this?

Trent Manning (35:03):
I'm waiting.

MIC1 (35:04):
Horry

Chad Kintzer (35:04):
Georgetown.
Yeah.
Won the turf bowl again.

MIC2 (35:07):
Oh.

Chad Kintzer (35:07):
Five years straight.

Trent Manning (35:09):
think it's rigged.

Chad Kintzer (35:11):
Don't think so.
Those guys are pretty smart.

Trent Manning (35:13):
Well, I mean, I'm

MIC2 (35:13):
saying they're not Since Charles

Chad Kintzer (35:14):
Granger's been there.
I think it's, what'd they say,10 years or 11 years?
He's won 10 of the 9 yearsthey've won the turf bowl.

Trent Manning (35:23):
and you don't think it's rigged.

Jake Teeter (35:25):
It's in Burrell Beach.
I'm not thinking we get aninvestigation.

Trent Manning (35:28):
Yeah.
Well, I don't know, you know,

Jake Teeter (35:31):
question.
You don't

Chad Kintzer (35:32):
know what

Moe Rateb (35:33):
the turf bowl is?
I don't know what the

Jake Teeter (35:34):
turf bowl

Moe Rateb (35:34):
is.
Quiz bowl.
So all the colleges,

Chad Kintzer (35:37):
they

MIC1 (35:37):
have

Chad Kintzer (35:39):
like, competition for all the colleges.
Like you saw NC State, Clemson.
That's where all the kids aretoday.
Yeah, they all have acompetition and they ask them
questions.
And they have to answer thequestions, and whoever answers
the most correctly or whatever, they win the Turf Bowl.
So what happens is, they haveone at our level, so whoever
wins this one gets to go tonational, where they do at the

(36:01):
national show.
And that's where all the schoolsare that one.
Cool.
Yeah, so they've won five yearsin a row.
Well, I guess they said theytied last year, but that's a win
in my book.
It's like the debate team ofYeah, I think there's like five
or six of them on the team.

Jake Teeter (36:19):
I've never heard of it before.

Chad Kintzer (36:20):
Oh yeah, they do it every year.

Jake Teeter (36:22):
Wow, I wonder where I was.
Sleeping?
Whose belly was that?
Drinking.
Is it yours?
Yeah,

MIC2 (36:30):
it was

Chad Kintzer (36:31):
mine.
As soon as I heard it, I knew.

Trent Manning (36:34):
Yeah.
Had to be.

Chad Kintzer (36:35):
Did that come up?
I hope that came on the mic.

MIC1 (36:37):
It probably

Chad Kintzer (36:38):
It was pretty loud, it was like, I don't

Jake Teeter (36:39):
know.
I don't think that was hisbelly.

Trent Manning (36:42):
Ha, ha, ha,

Chad Kintzer (36:43):
Bathroom's right there.
Right in front of the wall.

Trent Manning (36:45):
So, yeah.

Chad Kintzer (36:46):
I thought the trade show was a little bigger.
Last year, I don't remember themgoing all the way to the wall.
Like, I thought they were.
at least one row over from thewall.
There was some empty space.
On either side, I think it was.
And, and last

MIC1 (37:00):
year,

Chad Kintzer (37:02):
the, all of the dealers had

MIC1 (37:03):
a big,

Chad Kintzer (37:05):
a large booth whereas Jacobson and Toro just
have smaller booths this year.
John Deere still has a prettybig one, but the other two only
have a smaller booth.
So small that Mike couldn'tbring his van in.

Trent Manning (37:19):
Is

Chad Kintzer (37:19):
that really

Trent Manning (37:20):
why he didn't bring

MIC2 (37:20):
it?
No,

Chad Kintzer (37:21):
he has it here.
He just didn't park it in there.
I think he has it here anyway.
That's what he said.
I

Bryan Epland (37:26):
know he said it's in my driving car, but maybe
that was him joking.
No, he might have the van hemight have drove the

Chad Kintzer (37:32):
car But he couldn't he if he did it was
because he couldn't put the vanin there because the booth
wasn't as big Because I said tohim we were joking around when I
was standing there Jake and Iwere standing there talking to
him and I said, well, you shouldmake a little golf

MIC1 (37:42):
cart

Chad Kintzer (37:44):
Like a mini like he has a mini grinder.
You can put the mini grindersinto mini golf.
Now, that would be

Bryan Epland (37:49):
really cool Right.

MIC2 (37:50):
Yeah I would like that.

Chad Kintzer (37:52):
That would

MIC1 (37:52):
be neat.

MIC2 (37:53):
Come on, they just said they're hiring for the market.
I mean,

Trent Manning (37:56):
a great idea.

Moe Rateb (37:58):
I'm full of them, buddy.

Trent Manning (37:59):
Yeah.

Moe Rateb (37:59):
Okay, well.

Trent Manning (38:00):
Yeah.
Mike

MIC1 (38:01):
and

Moe Rateb (38:02):
and Chad traveling the country.
Oh

Chad Kintzer (38:04):
boy.
In Grindzilla.
Mini Grindzilla.
I'll drive Mini Grindzilla.
Mark's, Mark's an R.
M.
P.
I look like, I look likeMcGillicuddy.

Bryan Epland (38:12):
sales tank and what's going on?
I look like McGillicuddy

Chad Kintzer (38:15):
driving the golf cart.

MIC2 (38:16):
Yeah.
Yeah,

Trent Manning (38:21):
did y'all see any new products on trade

MIC2 (38:23):
They

Moe Rateb (38:24):
have a firefly there.
Yeah, the Firefly was nice.

Trent Manning (38:27):
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's talk about the Firefly.
All right.
Good

Chad Kintzer (38:32):
talk.
I didn't, see

Bryan Epland (38:35):
it, so.

Chad Kintzer (38:35):
Well, I didn't really talk to him, I just saw
it was sitting there.
I mean, I've seen videos of itand stuff.
The thing looks amazing.
I don't know what the Fireflyis.
Autonomous mower.
But the big one.

Trent Manning (38:46):
you know, it's not like a little

MIC1 (38:49):
Husqvarna.

Chad Kintzer (38:51):
even notice what it was.
Yeah, you know me,

Bryan Epland (38:54):
if it's not green, I ain't looking at it.

Chad Kintzer (38:56):
Well, it's just sitting there, it's like, it's,
it's kinda, so what I saw was,it's all the way, if you walk in
the front door where we walk in,it's in the back left corner.
Yeah, I didn't make it

Bryan Epland (39:04):
back there.

Chad Kintzer (39:05):
Yeah, it's all the way in the back.
There was a bunch of peoplearound it when I walked past
there.
I mean, I didn't stop and talkto them, like I said, I've seen
videos and stuff online, but Imean, it's, it's pretty cool.

Moe Rateb (39:17):
It looked pretty nimble and quick

Chad Kintzer (39:19):
in the video that they had.
Yeah.
Well, you know, and honestly, seeing it in person, like I
haven't ever seen it in person,it looked a lot smaller than
what it looks like on thevideos.
Like, it looks pretty big on thevideos.
And seeing it in

Moe Rateb (39:32):
person, it looked fairly small.
But it's like a totallydifferent beast than the Cress
or the Husqvarna or some of theother ones that they've had out
there.
The little vacuum cleanerlooking mowers.

MIC1 (39:46):
I thought

Trent Manning (39:47):
the reels were interesting.

MIC2 (39:49):
Yeah, I didn't even their adjustments.
So

Trent Manning (39:52):
it's, it's a, a fixed bed knife, but you know,
kind of like a QA seven or some.

MIC2 (39:59):
I don't,

Trent Manning (40:00):
Toro have any fixed bed knives now?

MIC2 (40:02):
Not that I'm aware of.
I've never seen one.
Yeah.
Not that I know of.

Trent Manning (40:06):
I want to say back in the day they had
something that

MIC2 (40:08):
was fixed.
I don't remember what it was.
Well, yeah, I'm not sure.
Sorry.

Trent Manning (40:12):
But anyway,

MIC2 (40:13):
yeah,

Trent Manning (40:14):
so fixed bed knife.
So the reel adjusts to the bedknife and

MIC2 (40:19):
it was

Trent Manning (40:19):
a click system.

MIC2 (40:21):
The guy said

Trent Manning (40:23):
65 tenths.

MIC2 (40:26):
Per click, you know Toro's

Trent Manning (40:29):
Seven tenths or whatever.
So

MIC2 (40:32):
john deere's 5

Trent Manning (40:33):
tenths.

MIC2 (40:33):
So they wanted a

Trent Manning (40:35):
I guess

MIC2 (40:36):
I don't know

Chad Kintzer (40:36):
surprisingly well worth it.
Fixed bed knife.
I wonder why they did that.

Trent Manning (40:40):
I don't

MIC2 (40:40):
Was it a 7 inch cutting unit?
Yeah.
Well, i'd say

Trent Manning (40:44):
that i'm pretty

MIC2 (40:45):
I mean, that's what John Deere is, what the rear one is.
When the

Trent Manning (40:49):
guy did say that

MIC2 (40:53):
So

Trent Manning (40:53):
it had a JRM reel and a JRM bed knife,

MIC2 (40:57):
but it's Toro Dimensions.
So he could you could put

Trent Manning (41:01):
a Toro in

MIC2 (41:02):
it if you wanted to, Yeah,

Bryan Epland (41:03):
a Toro would be

Trent Manning (41:04):
bed knives.

Bryan Epland (41:05):
Well, that's kind of nice, then you have, you can,
you got a little bit ofversatility to them.
If you're an all Toro orsomething, then you could just
transfer parts or

MIC1 (41:13):
Yeah, and

Trent Manning (41:13):
then, yeah, I don't know, it's

MIC2 (41:15):
it's definitely a little different

Trent Manning (41:18):
because

MIC2 (41:19):
it's more

Trent Manning (41:20):
a QA7 because the front roller

MIC2 (41:24):
is

Trent Manning (41:24):
adjustable, you know, with, you know,

MIC2 (41:27):
positions.
But

Trent Manning (41:30):
the height of cuts adjusted from the rear
roller.
Hmm.
So, yeah, I don't know.
A little, little different Yeah.

MIC2 (41:38):
know, like

Trent Manning (41:39):
a, a combo between a Toro

Bryan Epland (41:41):
and a Deere.
One question that I've kind ofhad about these autonomous
mowers is, you know, say you docome across like a ball marker
or something, especially a realmower, I mean, is, you know, is
that just something that's goingto get hit?
And I guess it'd be no differentthan, you know, the operator
hitting something, but, youknow.
The operator might be able tosee that on the next pass that,
you know, is that, I've, I'venot been around it so I guess

(42:01):
I'm asking a question, but isthat something that that mower
can see or, or sense or?

Moe Rateb (42:07):
Toro came out with a video on one of the emails for
golf course industry.
And they were talking abouttheir next iteration of the
Triplex having cameras andlasers or some kind of
technology that would have avisual on stuff like that.

(42:29):
Yeah, so it's on their mind atleast.

Bryan Epland (42:30):
That's good to hear.

MIC1 (42:31):
Yeah, it's like, is it

Trent Manning (42:32):
LIDAR

MIC2 (42:33):
That does that probably.
Yeah.
Yeah, Yeah.
Where

Trent Manning (42:36):
like my 3D printer has got

MIC2 (42:38):
that lidar, so if

Trent Manning (42:40):
you know something happens with the
print,

MIC2 (42:42):
it'll stop itself.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
It has be something like that.
The Same

Trent Manning (42:45):
technology, I guess.

Moe Rateb (42:47):
sprinkler heads.

Trent Manning (42:50):
Yeah.
Can it tell

MIC2 (42:51):
sprinkler heads up I hope so.
right over it.
Oh boy.
That could be a mess.
Yeah.

Trent Manning (42:55):
be a mess.

Moe Rateb (42:56):
But the one thing I did notice, there was no
contact.
And it was super easy to spinthe reel

Trent Manning (43:04):
Yeah, because electric motor

Moe Rateb (43:06):
you

Trent Manning (43:06):
know, no hydraulic

Moe Rateb (43:08):
pressure because we use the 25 50 john dears and
they're pretty easy, but thisone was just I don't know if it
was because it's brand new, butit was It felt nice to spin it
Until you get your finger

MIC2 (43:23):
and I did it I asked the guy

Trent Manning (43:25):
and they

MIC2 (43:25):
said a

Trent Manning (43:26):
light contact,

MIC2 (43:27):
but I guess,

Trent Manning (43:28):
you know, if it's based

MIC2 (43:29):
on a Toro cut maybe they didn't adjust it.

Bryan Epland (43:32):
Well, for the show they probably don't have them.
I mean, I would think theywouldn't have it adjusted to cut
paper at the show.

Moe Rateb (43:38):
We'll have to go back tomorrow with our little slips.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Go down to the T TAC booth, there's plenty of them.
That's a real test right

MIC2 (43:46):
there.
Well,

Trent Manning (43:47):
I did ask him if it would fit on a lift

MIC2 (43:49):
because it looks really wide,

Trent Manning (43:51):
but he said it would.

MIC2 (43:52):
So how does that work?
I wonder.
How do you get it on the lift?

Trent Manning (43:57):
That I don't

MIC2 (43:58):
I think there's a remote for it.

Trent Manning (43:59):
Yeah, I don't know

MIC2 (44:00):
if it's a remote or if

Trent Manning (44:02):
like stand on the

MIC2 (44:03):
back.
It has a

Moe Rateb (44:05):
Playstation controller.
Yeah, okay.
Interesting.
No wait, that was another one.
My bad, sorry.
But it's either way.

MIC1 (44:14):
Yeah,

Trent Manning (44:18):
I don't know that I got that.
Nope.
No,

MIC2 (44:21):
Darn it.

Trent Manning (44:23):
not that one.

MIC2 (44:24):
That

Trent Manning (44:25):
I have to get that sound

MIC2 (44:26):
effect

Trent Manning (44:27):
and make sure I, I get it on

MIC2 (44:29):
here for 2025 There you go.
New sound

Trent Manning (44:33):
effect.
It'll, it'll debut one year fromtoday.

Moe Rateb (44:38):
But yeah, I did see a plate motion controller for one
of them.
Where you had to move it fromfairway to fairway or rough to
rough between holes.

Trent Manning (44:48):
I don't that was probably this one, wasn't it?

Moe Rateb (44:51):
Cause no, it was I can't remember the name, but it
was like a purple blue one thathe said site one is going to be
the distributor.

Trent Manning (45:00):
the distributor

Justin King (45:00):
You guys see that one?
I don't even know what it was.
I didn't get a chance to look atit closely, but the smaller one
that was on tracks.
What was that?

Moe Rateb (45:08):
The

Justin King (45:09):
rhino?
Yeah.

Moe Rateb (45:10):
Oh, it was a rough mower.

Justin King (45:12):
Okay.
That's what I figured, butpeople were around it and I
wasn't.
But it wasn't autonomous,

Moe Rateb (45:16):
it was remote controlled.
Yeah, it was remote

Bryan Epland (45:18):
controlled, but that looked pretty cool.
Yeah, because Mike Rollins wassaying that I think,

MIC1 (45:23):
uh,

Bryan Epland (45:24):
Femke at Big Cedar has one or something at the new
course they've got there.
What's the benefits of having?
Well, because if you got realsteep slopes, it's got the
tracks to be able to go up anddown it.
Yeah, what's the

MIC2 (45:34):
difference if you have an operator or not?
Well, if, safer.
Yeah.
Yeah, if it flips over andthere's not an operator on it,
it

Trent Manning (45:42):
might be safer.
Just a

MIC2 (45:44):
Well, no, I'm just saying though,

Chad Kintzer (45:45):
I don't, I, I understand that.
It might have an operator on itand they're like, hey, watch
this.
I don't know what the benefitwould be of it, like, I mean, I
would wait.
Well, yeah, I mean.
Other than that, other

MIC1 (45:55):
they're saying,

Chad Kintzer (45:56):
you know.
But I mean, that would be theonly

MIC1 (45:57):
put anybody

Chad Kintzer (45:58):
That would be the only application that you would
think it would be useful with aremote.
Well, right, that's, but I

Bryan Epland (46:04):
think that's what it is.
Or maybe even around ponds andstuff, you know.
all.
I guess.
This is the guy that, you know, one of the cross balconies on
the 14th story says safety.
Yeah, right,

MIC2 (46:13):
Yeah.

Bryan Epland (46:15):
All about

Chad Kintzer (46:16):
safety.
You know.
Safety.
That's right.
Kayla and I were talking aboutthat today.
About safety and safety glasses.
We were saying how I was tellingher, she was telling me some
stories and I was telling hersome stories and I was like, I
was like, yeah.
I said, I've done a few stupidthings and I, I used to work in
a garage and I never wore safetyglasses.
I was just, you know, you knowhow you're, when you're young,

(46:38):
you're just dumb.
And we used to do exhaust.
I know, I'm still young.

Trent Manning (46:42):
I

Chad Kintzer (46:42):
still wearing,

Trent Manning (46:43):
safety glasses like I should.

Chad Kintzer (46:45):
I just squint my eyes a little bit.
I can see better that way.
Safety squid.
Yeah.
So, I was cutting the exhaustoff of this car and on the
muffler clamp, you cut on eitherside of it, hit it with a
hammer, and you know, it wouldbreak it.

MIC1 (46:58):
Right off and

Chad Kintzer (46:59):
You can cut the pipe out or whatever.
So I'm, it's dark, it'snighttime and I'm in there
blowing, I don't have any safetyglasses or nothing on.
And I hit the air to, you know, blow the lava out.
And I, all I see is thisfrigging molten lava coming
right at my face.
And luckily, you know, you havequick reactions when stuff's
coming to your eye.
And I closed my eye real quickand it landed.

(47:21):
Literally across the opening inmy eye with my eye closed I had
a burn on the top and the bottomthat burned my eyelashes and
everything off and I said Fromthat day forward I wear safety
glasses no matter what I'm sobig on safety glasses now I'm
like if I guys come in the shopand help and they're doing
something blowing or grinding oranything I'm like, hey, man, get

(47:42):
your safety glasses on Oh,

Bryan Epland (47:45):
I know

Chad Kintzer (47:46):
and that was my that's Kayla said that was your
one warning I said it was, and Itook it I said, ever since then
I said, I never did it againwithout safety glasses.
I said, that was really close, really close.
There was another one I told hertoo, but I don't remember that
one.
We're

MIC1 (48:03):
We're dying to know I don't remember.

Trent Manning (48:05):
Yeah

Chad Kintzer (48:07):
I'm old.
I remember that one.
Oh, I know what it was.
'cause we started talking aboutthe chainsaws'cause they were
doing the steel thing and shewas saying that her guys at her
shop, there was an old guy thatdoesn't wear Chad.
They finally talked him intowearing them.
I said, well, one of my goodfriends, he has a tree business.
And I said, I'd always help himand stuff, you know, you know,

(48:28):
we always wore gloves and, youknow, hard hat and safety
glasses, but we never wore chapsor anything, you know, and he
always climbed the trees andstuff.
And I'm down there cutting a logor something up and I was
undercutting it and it startedto pinch the saw and I pulled it
out real quick.
And what I did, it came down andhit, at that time I wore blue
jeans.
Luckily, it hit my blue jeans, tore three holes in my blue

(48:51):
jeans, but never got my

MIC1 (48:51):
leg

Chad Kintzer (48:53):
I mean, it was so close.
Yeah.
Wow.
They're

Bryan Epland (48:57):
worth it, for sure.

Chad Kintzer (48:58):
What's that?
Blue jeans?
Yeah, blue jeans, yeah.
I mean, they were in style then.
I washed them and the holes keptgetting bigger.

MIC1 (49:05):
I should

Chad Kintzer (49:07):
have kept them and sold them.
People make good money for that.
I could have got a couplehundred bucks for them now, at
least.

MIC1 (49:12):
for

Chad Kintzer (49:13):
with butts all worn out from sitting on them
all the time.

Trent Manning (49:17):
What else?
Oh,

Moe Rateb (49:20):
Look at the OSHA things that she was talking
about.
Their what was it, theirincident reports.
Oh yeah, I was actually

Bryan Epland (49:27):
curious about that.
How do you guys put thoseonline?
You know,

Chad Kintzer (49:30):
she's really smart.
Oh yeah, yeah.
She is, just.

Bryan Epland (49:33):
So, for people that weren't there since we're
doing a podcast.
During her class she was talkingabout, who's she?
Caleb, Caleb, Caleb.
Sorry.
She was talking about how theywere there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She's doing a podcast.
Yeah.
You know, you know, so she was,she was for her guys she goes on
the OSHA website and gets theincidences that kind of are
related to what they do at thegolf course.

(49:54):
And she puts one in the breakroom tables.
I think is what she saidperiodically.
Yeah.
Which is, I think is an eyeopener.

Chad Kintzer (50:00):
That's kind of cool.
So that's the stuff that shesaid.
So that's the stuff that shetells them.
She thinks they're not justtelling them.
For just to be a jerk so thatthey can see that that stuff
really does happen.

MIC2 (50:09):
Well

MIC1 (50:09):
thought

Trent Manning (50:10):
Mark was good showing the hamburger meat,

MIC2 (50:14):
you

Trent Manning (50:14):
know, and really driving it home.
Like, if you get a chainsaw cut, this is what it's going to

MIC2 (50:19):
look like.
Yeah, he's really good.
Yeah, there's

Trent Manning (50:21):
there's not any sewing this back

MIC2 (50:23):
together Cause yeah, there's nothing

Trent Manning (50:26):
Because yeah, there's nothing there to sew
together

MIC2 (50:29):
not a clean

Trent Manning (50:30):
out.
Yeah These microphones arereally sensitive.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.

MIC2 (50:35):
How's my belly?
It was growling.

Moe Rateb (50:38):
Giggling.
Hour of giggling.
You awake over there,

Jake Teeter (50:41):
buddy?
barely Oh, I'm barely hangingon.
What was your favorite part ofthe trade show, Jake?
The hose reel.
The hose cart.

Chad Kintzer (50:52):
The 1,

Jake Teeter (50:53):
700 hose cart?
1, 700 hose cart.
1, 700 hose cart.
1, 700 hose cart.
Bulletproof.

Trent Manning (50:58):
Bulletproof.
Bulletproof.

Chad Kintzer (51:00):
The hose or the cart?
The whole assembly.
Oh, he was so excited about thatthing.
He's like, look at that, man.
Justin's like, I just made one,man.
Yeah,

MIC2 (51:08):
I made one

Trent Manning (51:10):
I bought the hose reel and I bought a trailer from
Northern for 300

MIC2 (51:15):
That's what we got.
And a piece of plywood.

Trent Manning (51:19):
I didn't even do plywood.
I just, Hose reel straight tothe trailer

Jake Teeter (51:25):
Fits straight on the frame?

Trent Manning (51:26):
Mm hmm.

Jake Teeter (51:27):
Okay.
Well, when I started, all thewires were on plywood, which is
all rotten now after 14 years.
And the last one we did, we didwith decking material that What
do you call that?

Trent Manning (51:37):
I

Jake Teeter (51:37):
like treks Yeah treks.
We used treks to put down thedeck and then bolted it in.
Is that working pretty good?
Yeah, it works good.
and I figured out that theframes break on the reels.

MIC2 (51:51):
Mm hmm.

Jake Teeter (51:51):
Because there's no support for them.
So I mounted a, a shelf bracket

MIC1 (51:55):
shell bracket to

Jake Teeter (51:56):
to the deck and to the frame.
And so no more flex, no morebreaking the frames.
Works great.

MIC2 (52:03):
Nice.

Trent Manning (52:04):
Yeah, the northern trailers I got,

MIC2 (52:06):
an

Trent Manning (52:07):
cut the axle in half and extended

MIC2 (52:09):
it

Trent Manning (52:10):
so

MIC2 (52:10):
I can

Trent Manning (52:10):
put golf cart tires

MIC2 (52:12):
on it.
Huh.
And other wider tires, Yeah, that's what this

Trent Manning (52:14):
come with those super

Jake Teeter (52:15):
skinny ones.
Yeah, that's what this has.
Those big wide tires.
Yeah, yeah.
I like that set up.
But it had, where you hook thehose up, instead of being inside
the frame of the reel, itactually has a curved section
that comes out right to the edgeso you can just screw your hose
on and start wrapping it insteadof having to feed it inside and
hook it with the hull.

(52:36):
Stupid hook that always comesundone.

Trent Manning (52:38):
I saw it in the front

MIC2 (52:41):
Right

Chad Kintzer (52:42):
inside the front door it was.

Jake Teeter (52:43):
Yeah, they ask.
H& H.
H& H.

Trent Manning (52:47):
H.
Yeah,

MIC1 (52:48):
H

Jake Teeter (52:49):
Yeah, H& H I think.

Trent Manning (52:49):
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I saw

Jake Teeter (52:51):
it.
It says like right when you walkin the door.
Yeah, right inside the frontdoor.
Fire engine red.
Yeah.
What do you guys use for hoseson your hose carts?

MIC2 (52:59):
I don't,

Trent Manning (53:00):
I don't know

MIC2 (53:01):
I mean we keep

Trent Manning (53:02):
buying hoses and they keep,

MIC2 (53:03):
they don't time at all.
Don't matter what you get.

Jake Teeter (53:06):
Red Underhill

MIC1 (53:08):
is

Jake Teeter (53:09):
has lasted the best so far, but it's heavy.
It's heavy, yeah.
It's heavy, heavy, heavy.
But it turns out, all of them, the clear one, the green, the
blue, have a lifetime warranty.

Trent Manning (53:19):
Really?

Jake Teeter (53:20):
I didn't know, we'd already thrown a couple of them
away before.
Yeah.

MIC2 (53:24):
huh, I didn't know that.

Trent Manning (53:25):
Yeah,

MIC2 (53:25):
that's good to know because yeah, I don't know how
many we've thrown away.
Thousands.
Yeah, Definitely thousands ofdollars worth.
Oh yeah.
Houses, because that stuff's

Trent Manning (53:36):
take long.
Most things are, yeah,expensive.
Yeah, I'll check into that.

MIC2 (53:41):
Well, you

Trent Manning (53:41):
heard it here first,

MIC2 (53:42):
people.

Trent Manning (53:43):
Lifetime warranty on, on,

MIC2 (53:44):
Well, it was from Jake, so.

Trent Manning (53:47):
hoses.

Chad Kintzer (53:48):
He pulls the flags out as he's driving across.
Let me fact check.

Trent Manning (53:51):
Yeah, that's true.

Chad Kintzer (53:53):
We better not just hold that to fact.
Come on now.
You may

Justin King (53:58):
have heard it first.

Chad Kintzer (54:00):
Well, you've definitely heard it first.
You're never going to hear it

Moe Rateb (54:03):
again.

MIC2 (54:05):
You've definitely heard

Moe Rateb (54:06):
it.
Guaranteed consumer tips

Chad Kintzer (54:09):
from Jake.
Thanks.
So what what do you think aboutthe tournament?
The Eric Duncanson MemorialTournament.
You drove all the way fromGeorgia, all the way

Trent Manning (54:18):
Oh, yeah, that was awesome.
I mean, it was a lot of fun.
I definitely like coming to

MIC2 (54:23):
support

Trent Manning (54:24):
TTAC and

MIC2 (54:26):
Benevolence

Trent Manning (54:26):
Fund.
I mean, it's great.

MIC2 (54:29):
And, I mean,

Trent Manning (54:30):
a bummer that

MIC2 (54:31):
Right, you know the weather and

Trent Manning (54:33):
all that, the

MIC2 (54:34):
storms come

Trent Manning (54:35):
through and I heard a lot of people couldn't
make it because of that, which Itotally understand.

MIC2 (54:40):
So

Trent Manning (54:40):
hopefully next year have even better turnout.

MIC2 (54:44):
Yeah, was that good old jake's golf course?
Yes, it was which was in

Jake Teeter (54:47):
fantastic shape

Trent Manning (54:48):
and it's

Jake Teeter (54:49):
Justin's golf course next year.
Yep.
Yeah, not official yet, butwe're working on it

Chad Kintzer (54:57):
So here we go jake light again

MIC2 (54:59):
Hmm

Chad Kintzer (55:00):
Yeah, I thought the golf course was great, I
know it was just funny cuz he'slike it's like oh man
Everybody's gonna come up hereand make fun of my crappy golf
course.
I'm like, I'm like who would dothat?
I said nobody's gonna make funof your course.
First of all, it's not evencrappy.
I said it's great I said Ithought it was an awesome shape

Trent Manning (55:16):
Yeah.
The only thing we made fun ofwas the steak sandwich that Jack
recommended.

MIC2 (55:21):
yeah, that was pretty bad.

Chad Kintzer (55:25):
That was very bad Oh, the night before.
Yeah.
At the restaurant.
Yeah.
Everybody changed their mind andgot the steak sandwich because
he recommended it.
I had something picked out.
Yeah, we all did.

Jake Teeter (55:37):
I know you guys asked me and I said, I don't
know, just, everything's good.
Yeah.
you said everything was good.
And then I went to the steaksandwich and everybody started
ordering steak sandwich.
I'm like, oh, shit.

MIC2 (55:45):
Yep,

Trent Manning (55:46):
It was not good

Chad Kintzer (55:47):
not good.
So, it was made with real steak.
And they sliced it, looked likewith a knife, like maybe quarter
inch strips, yeah?
And it was the toughest.
Oh, it was bad.
Freaking gristliest.
The gristliest.
If you would bite into it, thewhole piece of steak would come
out of the bun.
The whole, like, four incheslong.
It was so bad.

(56:08):
It was terrible.
I think it was liquid.

Trent Manning (56:10):
was microwave.
Yeah and I think the bun wasthree times

MIC2 (56:12):
bigger than the stand.
Yeah, it was, it was

Trent Manning (56:14):
And it wasn't like it was a big

MIC2 (56:15):
bond.
It was bad.
So we

Chad Kintzer (56:17):
know, we should have known when Jake recommended
it, had we known.
Old Mr.
Credibility himself.
Yeah.
Old Mr.
Lifetime Hoses

MIC2 (56:26):
himself.

Bryan Epland (56:27):
It's

Chad Kintzer (56:28):
on the podcast now, you can't erase it.

Jake Teeter (56:32):
Somebody call Uber, I gotta get out of here.
You guys can have fun, make somemoney.

Chad Kintzer (56:37):
Oh man, well that was the best part of the
tournament.
We were just having, me, it wasme, Justin, Jake, and Lee
Carmichael.
And oh my god, we were justcutting up the whole entire
time.
It was so much fun.
It was a blast.

MIC2 (56:49):
Yeah, I'm gonna

Trent Manning (56:50):
to get golf clubs and

Chad Kintzer (56:51):
Oh, it's just fun.

Trent Manning (56:52):
I can do it one time.

Chad Kintzer (56:54):
It's just fun cutting out, man.
It's just, I just love justgoing and just, like, I'm not
good.
So it's, to me, it's funny whenI talk smack to somebody else
when they hit a bad shot because9 chance out of 10, mine's gonna
be worse, so.
You, you can borrow mine if youneed some clothes.
Okay.
You're not left handed,probably.

Trent Manning (57:11):
I don't, I mean,

MIC2 (57:12):
I mean.
If you've never golfed, I guesseither way.
Yeah.

Trent Manning (57:14):
It, it really don't matter matter.
I

MIC2 (57:16):
think you can always borrow mine, but

Chad Kintzer (57:18):
add an extra set of down.
I did too.
Did Well, you get a, oh, thereyou go.
When it's at his tournament, youcan just come out

Jake Teeter (57:23):
and you get Daniel Garing ability on number two.
And I said, you, you and Lauradrove up in the beverage cart
and I said, you watch somebodyhit this image right here and
damn if I didn't, he hit itright where he said

Chad Kintzer (57:34):
he was going to.

Justin King (57:36):
Just about 10 yard shorter.

MIC1 (57:38):
Yeah.

Justin King (57:40):
You can make it past the red tees.
It was so fun.
Yeah, that was funny.
We had so much fun that day,Chad and his.
This is Myrtle Beach DinosaurPutt Putt Putter.
He was making fun of

Chad Kintzer (57:51):
my putter.
It's a two ball putter.
I don't know what he was makingfun of.
He just didn't like it had aregular, it didn't have one of
the fat grips on it.
It just has a regular littlegrip on it.
It's almost the same as hisputter.
I don't know what he was talkingabout.
It's just funny you make fun ofyou.
It is funny.

Trent Manning (58:06):
I mean, I like when guys talk about their
putters, you know, and comparetheir

MIC2 (58:11):
putters with

Bryan Epland (58:13):
each other.
Yeah,

Trent Manning (58:17):
Really

MIC2 (58:17):
good

Bryan Epland (58:17):
Oh

Chad Kintzer (58:21):
no, I got a small putter.
Trust me.
Listen, can I tell you thefunniest thing?
So before we started playing,Justin had never played golf
before.
And he's going, we're, you werethere when we're at his shop.
Remember, we're still walkingaround.
He goes, man, he goes, I'm soexcited to play golf.
I've been watching YouTubevideos for, for like weeks now.

(58:41):
And I'm like, you've beenwatching videos?
Yeah, man.
And I was going to the range andwe get out there.
I'll tell you what, he washitting a crap out of the ball.
I was like, Holy crap.
Yeah.
He was

MIC1 (58:51):
to start watching some

Chad Kintzer (58:52):
yeah, no lie.
Cause he was hitting the ball 10times better than I was.
Yeah.
He was smoking them.
I mean he was hitting them outthere really far.
He was keeping up with Lee andLee's like a four handicap or
something.
He's, Lee's really good.
But clarify, just my drives.
Right.
Well, everything else.
That's true.
He must only watch dry videos.

(59:12):
Yeah, I didn't watch any ironvideos.
Well how about Lee eagled thelast hole himself?
Yeah.
And he was this far away fromthe longest drop.
Yeah.
Crazy, I mean, good boy.
Yeah, he's funny.
He was at the, he was at the J.
R.
M.
night.
He's always so funny.
Him and his buddies, there's oneguy, Rooster.

(59:33):
That's what they call him outthere.
Every time they see me, it'salways, they always laugh at
each other.
They're funny guys, good guys.

MIC2 (59:39):
I like, it's one of the great things about the industry.
It's, you know, I mean, we havefun, you know?
And how long have we known eachother?
I mean, not that long.
Like, 30 years, maybe.
I mean, like, we're in the Armytogether or something, you know,
for four years or something, youknow.
But, yeah, just everybody youmeet, you feel like you've known

(01:00:02):
for a long time.
Yeah, without a doubt.
So, it's something special.
I

Bryan Epland (01:00:05):
was talking to Andrew today from Old Eleanor.
And, him and I were joking backand forth.
I mean, we met briefly inPhoenix, but we were just
sitting next to each otherjoking back and forth.
You know, it's funny, we're keptin the same cloth, even though
we come from a lot of differentbackgrounds.
It's good.
You can't crack a joke or two aslong as they're willing to
listen.

MIC1 (01:00:24):
Yeah, I

Trent Manning (01:00:24):
think, and I mean,

MIC2 (01:00:27):
there's always a few, I guess, but for the most part.
As long as it doesn't involveyum yum sauce, it's okay.
yeah, yeah.
yeah.
I mean, you know, you cross theline sometimes when you start
talking about yum yum sauce andthe guy's telling a story.

Trent Manning (01:00:42):
What do you expect?

Justin King (01:00:45):
His face was the best.
He was like,

Chad Kintzer (01:00:48):
You interrupted my conversation for effing yum yum
sauce?

MIC1 (01:00:52):
He stared me

Chad Kintzer (01:00:55):
down for like 30 seconds and I was like, I think
the hairs on the back of my neckstood up.
What hairs?
If I had hairs.

MIC1 (01:01:03):
good point.

Chad Kintzer (01:01:05):
The hairs that should be there were standing
up.

Justin King (01:01:07):
But even that, you know.
You can't stay mad at Chad fortoo long.

Chad Kintzer (01:01:11):
He's fat and stupid.
You just gotta get over it.
Oh man.

Bryan Epland (01:01:14):
He's all about self positivity.

Trent Manning (01:01:16):
Yes, yeah, yep.

Chad Kintzer (01:01:18):
That's like, that's like, Steve, my boss,
always yells at me.
Cause I'm always my worst criticforever.
And I'm sure we all are.
But during the tournament, wehad the PGA tournament here.
And it was like a dream to haveit.
You know what I mean?
To work at a golf course thathosted a tournament.
And one of the team owners wasout there and blew a hydraulic

(01:01:38):
hose.
And I was just like, I mean, wetore it apart, got it repaired,
got it back going again.
But I came back into the shop, man.
I closed the door.
I'm freaking, I'm in there.
I'm half ball and it's justlike, I'm like, Oh my God, I'm
like, how could I go and letsomething so stupid happen?
For something I mean it was andyou could see the hose was warm

(01:02:00):
like rusted I'm like, how couldI miss that?
you know, I'm going over thisstuff for the three months, you
know with a fine tooth comb andI missed this and you know, Tim
Krieger and all of them werehere and you know, I mean I get
mad at myself, but I get over itYou know what?
I mean?
It's not like I'm gonna quit myjob or whatever It's just I'm
very disappointed in myself atthe time, you know, and they're

(01:02:22):
all like, oh, it's alright, manKrieger told the story about
when he had a leak course orwhatever.
And, you know, Steve, my bosspulled me aside.
He's like, Hey man, he's like, you just got to let it go.
He goes, you got to stop beingso hard on yourself.
And I'm like, I'm like, I said,I'm fine, Steve.
I said, it's just, I'mdisappointed in what happened.
You know, I said, you know, I'vebeen looking forward to this for
how long, you know, and thensomething like that happens,

(01:02:44):
which is like, for me, it's acardinal sin, you know?
And it's, he's like, Oh, he'slike, man, this place looks as
good as it does because of you.
And he said, it's, you know, just let it go.
I'm like, I'm good.
I'm fine.
You know, and Hour later, I wasfine.
After I just got stuck poutingand

Bryan Epland (01:03:00):
whining.
I mean, you know, self criticismis always the harshest form of
criticism.
You know, it's, we're all hardon ourselves.
So, that's probably why we're inour positions.
I guess.
Maybe why, why we accelerate.
The

Chad Kintzer (01:03:15):
thing mine has to do for my dad yelling at me all
the time.
I figured if I yelled at myselfand then maybe he wouldn't yell
at me so much.

MIC1 (01:03:22):
Doesn't really work

Chad Kintzer (01:03:22):
that way though.
Does it?
No, no.

Trent Manning (01:03:24):
Yeah

Chad Kintzer (01:03:25):
I like those memes, the stuff you see on
Facebook, you know, with thekids.
You can tell these days theynever had to hold their
flashlight for their dad.
yeah, yeah.
That's the truth.

MIC2 (01:03:33):
Woo! Yeah.

Trent Manning (01:03:35):
I'll never

MIC2 (01:03:35):
forget those days.
Oh

Chad Kintzer (01:03:36):
Mike, you could never have that on the podcast.
It would be just one long beep.
My dad yelling at me with theflashlight.
Over! And I'm not even going tosay it.

MIC1 (01:03:46):
it.

MIC2 (01:03:48):
Hold it

Trent Manning (01:03:48):
where I can

MIC2 (01:03:49):
see, boy, not where you can see.

Trent Manning (01:03:51):
That's what I heard.
I don't know how

Chad Kintzer (01:03:52):
Well, you know, I think my problem was I would
never pay attention.
I'd stand there and hold thelight.
Oh wow, look at that.
And the next thing you know, thelight's over here.
I remember one time we weredriving down the road and my
dad, we were backing out ofsomething and he turned around
like this to back up and my, oneof my friends was in the car
with us and he leaned like thisto look in the middle and my dad
reached back and smacked him inthe back of the head and I go,

(01:04:15):
you got smacked and it wasn't methis time.

Bryan Epland (01:04:18):
I figured the next thing you were going to say was
your dad turned around andsmacked you too.
So I probably, he probably did.
He probably blocked that oneout.

Chad Kintzer (01:04:23):
For laughing at him.
Days.
We're ready

Trent Manning (01:04:25):
to wrap it up?

Chad Kintzer (01:04:27):
What time is it?
I mean we could just go untiltomorrow morning and pull in all
night.
Oh yeah, why not?

Trent Manning (01:04:31):
no.
We only got, yeah, 28 minutes, but.

MIC2 (01:04:35):
Yeah, I'm ready to go.
Yeah, we're good.

Trent Manning (01:04:37):
Yep, I'm good.

MIC2 (01:04:38):
Thanks for doing this buddy.
no, thank you, Chad, Thanks for,

Trent Manning (01:04:42):
yeah, having us

MIC2 (01:04:43):
Don't forget to plug for everybody else for,

Trent Manning (01:04:45):
for being here, and.
Yeah,

MIC2 (01:04:46):
Yeah, thanks for the invite.

MIC1 (01:04:47):
invite.

Trent Manning (01:04:47):
Yeah, no, it's

MIC2 (01:04:48):
It's been fun.

Trent Manning (01:04:49):
I mean, it's always

MIC2 (01:04:50):
fun,

Moe Rateb (01:04:51):
I wonder how this is going to turn out.
I Don't you know, it's

MIC2 (01:04:54):
the

Trent Manning (01:04:55):
art of editing.

MIC2 (01:04:56):
amazing what you can do Oh man.
podcast

Trent Manning (01:04:59):
Well, we'll see what the one microphone does and

MIC2 (01:05:10):
And me

Trent Manning (01:05:11):
hitting mute so we don't get Mike bleed as much

Chad Kintzer (01:05:16):
Oh, is that what that button's for?

Trent Manning (01:05:17):
yeah, yeah.
That's why

MIC2 (01:05:18):
I hit that mutes this mic.
Oh, okay.

Trent Manning (01:05:21):
And that's the biggest problem about recording
in a room like this is my bleed.
And you basically have tomanually go through and scrub
each section.

MIC2 (01:05:35):
So

Trent Manning (01:05:35):
it takes forever to edit one

MIC2 (01:05:37):
of these.

Chad Kintzer (01:05:38):
You think there would be something like a
program you could just go in andit would just go through and,

MIC2 (01:05:42):
whoop! Okay.
So, Like the

Trent Manning (01:05:43):
software I use, it says Mike bleed

MIC2 (01:05:46):
detected.
Would you like to eliminate it?
And you select yes, but itdoesn't eliminate any of it.
I don't understand

Trent Manning (01:05:54):
why it even tells you.
I mean, it's basically liketelling you,

MIC2 (01:05:58):
you really screwed up and you're going to pay for this.

Trent Manning (01:06:01):
click.
Yes.

MIC2 (01:06:03):
To continue.

Justin King (01:06:04):
Yeah.
Yeah,

Trent Manning (01:06:06):
Thank y'all.

Chad Kintzer (01:06:07):
Thank you.
Yeah, thank you.
