To his horror, he later woke up in a hospital with a bullet in his head and a temporary inability to walk. While recovering in the hospital, in what he describes as a major turning point, Matt felt a message rising within himself that it was time for a new way of living. His path led him out of the hospital and up the corporate ladder before eventually leaving everything behind to pursue a new calling: travelling the world while helping people learn to listen to their intuition.
