(00:56):
Welcome to this month's Reikishare and this month's podcast
as well, with the electionprocess heating up and so very
much to do and get done.
I have had to scale back alittle bit and just do one
podcast a month for the last fewmonths.
So thank you for your patience.
With that, I'm so glad to haveso many of you here with me
(01:20):
online at the same time, andthen also to reach those of you
who are listening to therecording afterward.
There has been an awful lotgoing on.
Before we begin, I just wantedto let you know that starting on
Monday, Election Day, for me,October 21st, I have a Reiki
Level 1 and 2 class, and I dohave a little special
(01:42):
announcement.
For everyone this evening aboutthat class is that so many of
you love it when Karen Kegg andI do podcasts together.
And because I may need a littlebit of flexibility during that
class depending on the electionand how it goes and what I may
need to do for those two days,Karen is going to co teach that
(02:05):
class.
With me, so you don't get justone licensed teacher in that
class, you're going to get two.
Karen and I just have so muchfun together.
So that's just a little extrabonus for you on October 21st
and 22nd.
So if any of you want to take alicensed class with the two of
us, the two licensed teachers,Karen in Ecuador and me in New
(02:26):
Brunswick, Canada we would loveto have you join us.
It is being taught in theAtlantic time zone so from 9 to
6 30.
Also following up, and all theseclasses are in the Atlantic time
zone, I have a master's class,the 23rd to 25th, an animal
Reiki level 1 and 2 class, the26th and 27th, and an animal
(02:47):
Reiki master class, the 28th.
After that we do have someclasses coming up in December
that some of you may beinterested in.
There will be a Level 1 and 2class November 23rd and 24th.
That's a weekend class, and thatwill be in the Eastern time
zone, 9am to 6.
(03:08):
30pm.
There will also be a class AnAnimal Reiki Level 1 and 2
class, November 30th andDecember 1st, and also any of
you who wish to join us onChristian's Business Reiki
Summit that goes on fromNovember 22nd to 25th, and Karen
and I are actually doing a talkon November 25th, if that's of
(03:30):
interest to you and then we alsoFinally a lot of you are
interested in animalcommunication and unfortunately
I haven't had a lot of time toteach that this year.
Although I did teach a big classin Asia in three languages which
was a lot of fun and challengingas well.
But I do have an AnimalCommunication Level 1 and 2
(03:51):
class coming up December 7th and8th, which is a weekend.
And anybody who's reviewing theclass, it has changed slightly,
not a ton, but a little bit.
Anybody who wishes to review canreview that class for half fee.
I also have.
An Animal Communication Level 3class coming up over two
(04:11):
evenings, the following twoevenings, December 9th and 10th.
And they're going from 7 6 p.
m.
to 11 p.
m.
Eastern time.
And I also have an AnimalCommunication Level 3 class
coming up in the Asian timezone, and somewhat Australian
friendly time zone.
(04:32):
So any of you who are interestedin Animal Communication Level 3,
that is happening Saturday the14th of December and Sunday the
15th.
of December.
I also have a full lineup ofclasses happening in January.
They're happening over weekendsand evenings because I've made
the assumption that I might bein the legislature and having to
(04:55):
work around that schedule.
So that's what's going on withus right now, these days.
Tonight we're going to betalking about something really
interesting.
It was really clear.
It's about when dreams cometrue, embracing discomfort, the
discomfort of positive changewith Reiki.
And the reason we're talkingabout that is that I've noticed
(05:17):
with my clients and even withmyself that one of the most
difficult things to manage withReiki is positive change.
And when your dreams come true,it's actually easier to handle
discomfort, disaster, you nameit than the positive change at
(05:39):
times, most times, actually.
So we're going to delve intothat tonight.
But before we do, I just like toopen up the the call because as
I mentioned I'd like to add alittle ask me anything section
to each of our Reiki shares andif some of you are wondering
about things then probably otherpeople are too.
(06:00):
So I just like to open it up andjust invite any of you who would
like to ask a question you canjust go ahead and unmute
yourself and ask.
So just go ahead.
I'd like to go if that's okay.
Yeah, Jennifer, go ahead.
So I've been thinking about theLRMT program for quite a while
(06:23):
and I finally have everythinglike in place to go ahead and
apply.
Is there, and I was trying tosee, is there like a certain
date that we have to haveeverything in by or a deadline
or is it just Does it roll withwhenever you insert your
atopika?
(06:43):
That's right.
It's all according to you.
It there's no dates whatsoever.
This is completely up to you.
And the first thing that youwould want to do, Jennifer, if
you are thinking of becoming alicensed Reiki master teacher,
first of all, congratulations.
It's a big step and it's areally positive step for any of
us who have taken that.
(07:03):
It really takes Reiki to anotherlevel.
It takes your confidence toanother level with it.
It's really, it's quiteremarkable.
So congratulations on being atthat place where you're ready to
make that step.
The first thing I wouldrecommend that you do is just on
the front page of reiki.
org.
If you scroll down to thebottom, there's all the
(07:24):
information about the LRMTprogram.
Just fill in the questionnaireand send that first.
And when you send in thequestionnaire we will be able to
review it.
I'm one of the assistantdirectors that works with the
LRMT program.
And so what we'll do is justreview the questionnaire and
make sure that you have all thequalifications before you put
(07:46):
the time and effort into thebigger application process.
Because the application is quitebig.
quite involved.
So go ahead and send that inwhenever it's a good time for
you.
And there is a fee for thequestionnaire, but it's less
than for the applicationprocess.
So we just like to make it alittle less painful for you or a
little more painless.
That's the word cause it's notpainful.
(08:07):
And yeah, so does that answeryour question, my dear?
Yeah, it does.
And that answers that part ofit, and then I, another question
arose from it.
That's okay.
Yeah.
If I'm going through theapplication, and I'm doing and I
know we have to complete certaintypes of we have to do sessions,
(08:28):
a certain amount of sessions isit okay to be, like, I use.
I use Reiki as it, it helps mewith all of the sessions that I
do with everybody.
Yeah.
Is it that I'm supposed to justdo only like Reiki protocol or
(08:48):
is it like, is it where I, so Ihave my own techniques, I have
my own flair and I use the Reikialong with that.
Does that make sense?
Yeah.
Or is it just purely.
Or is that just something to beanswered later?
No, that's, so first of all, Idon't think you have to have a
(09:10):
lot of sessions in order to dothe application, but there is a
hundred sessions afterwards, andthey only start counting after
you've been accepted, so don'tgo too far into that that
hundred sessions, if that's whatyou're talking about, because
anything you do before you'reaccepted, you do have to start
over again.
But we're, if you look at theICRT manual, William encourages
(09:35):
us to develop our owntechniques, our own flair.
I liked how you said that.
And so there's nothing wrongwith that.
The one thing that when we aredoing our sessions that are
going to count for our LRMTprogram, there's, we have to do
a hundred sessions and keep thepaperwork.
When we are doing thosesessions, the main thing, is
(09:58):
that if you say practice two orthree different modalities, We
ask you to just practice Reikiin those modalities, just for
those sessions, okay?
You're welcome to practice othermodalities with Reiki, there's
no limitations there, but forthose 100 sessions that you're
(10:18):
being evaluated on, we ask youto just focus on Reiki.
But you're, there's no one rightway to do Reiki.
Um, most of my sessions that Ido are hands off.
on the phone with people.
And they're leading peoplethrough meditations and they're
just, and they're distancesessions.
(10:41):
And so there's no really oneright way of doing a Reiki
session.
Does that help?
Oh, you're so welcome.
One of the things, because theICRT, the LRMT program is so
involved, there's so much to it,a lot of times people think that
(11:01):
it's really strict or, that somany times, and we're all, this
happens for all of us, Jennifer.
So many times we think, Oh,wait, am I doing that wrong?
Am I doing this wrong?
And it's really one of thethings I love about the ICRT
lineage, I guess I'll say, isthat we're really encouraged to
(11:22):
develop our own style, todevelop our own, and if a tool
works for us, use it.
And if it doesn't work, don'tuse it.
And that sort of thing.
I just really I don't know.
I can't say enough about theprogram.
I'm excited for you.
And I'll look forward to seeingyour application when it comes
through.
That helped immensely because mymain way of doing Reiki is
(11:43):
through meditation.
Mine too.
Over the, or over the phone orvideo or that's where I do most.
And I do it with kids too.
And I teach parents.
And I want to just.
Be able to do it more formally,so to speak.
Yeah.
And when you get in the program, you can work with a mentor who
might encourage you to trydifferent ways or different
(12:05):
things.
And and if they do, it's just,it's just for your own
development.
Thank you.
Yeah, you're welcome.
Great questions.
Scott, I think you had aquestion too.
Yeah, mine's more of your Reikishare.
In fact, I got two questions.
The first one on Reiki share, awhile back, we were going to do
(12:26):
a Reiki share with the idea ofdealing with Pele, I believe,
and that one You had to back offof because of your injury.
I'm wondering if you're evergoing to get back into that one,
because that kind of soundedinteresting to me.
I've dealt with Pele before.
And the second question I wouldhave is I know it's a long way
(12:51):
off, but when is the Masters forAnimal Communication?
When are you looking at it?
Yes.
I'm definitely hearing the NewYear, so I would say by March in
the New Year.
But it just, So much is justhinging right now.
Our election is Monday, Octoberthe 21st.
(13:12):
And so much is just hinging onthat.
If I get elected, which isactually looking very good then
I will have a limited amount oftime to work on it until
December.
And so I'll have to be listeningand doing the development in
that December, January timeframeand then trying to have to fit
it around when I'm in thelegislature, which is fine.
(13:35):
We can do that.
But, so I know that it wouldn'tbe before March.
If I don't get elected, it couldbe earlier.
in the new year, but it willdefinitely be in the new year.
And then Pele the reason I wasplanning on working with that
was because I believe I was inHawaii and working with that
energy.
And since I've left Hawaii, Ihaven't felt that connection.
(13:56):
So I'm so sorry that yes, Iwasn't able to do that.
meditation.
And and that it hasn't reallybeen calling for me again since,
but maybe we should just talkabout it even privately and
maybe even do a session, Scott, and tap into the energy and see
what, what happens and see if itdoes come forward again for one
(14:17):
of our Reiki shares, if thatsounds okay.
Sounds good.
Thank you very much.
You're so welcome.
And I'm sorry, I can't see whoelse has their hand raised.
So there's two with your handsraised and I'm just going to
invite you to go ahead.
(14:40):
Anybody else have a question?
Looks like Beth had her handraised.
Oh, Beth, did you have aquestion?
There, now I can see it.
Just go ahead and unmuteyourself, my dear, if you've got
a minute.
And I'm just going to lookreally quickly.
(15:02):
There is a question.
There it goes.
Oh my gosh.
You couldn't get yourselfunmuted, could you?
No.
My question is we, You've taughtus to do Reiki and animal
communication together.
Yeah.
And parents have always been inthe toilet but it's gotten
better.
My horse is sick.
(15:23):
Yes.
So I didn't know what to do withit.
All I kept getting was a redball between her throat latch
and her ear.
And I'm like, and I actuallytold the vet, I'm like, This is
what she gives me, because theydidn't know what was going on.
(15:45):
And my question is there a wayto try to interpret that better?
Because I'll tell you whathappened, they thought she had
botulism.
I heard, I saw that.
And she had a horrible reactionto the antitoxin, and the side
of her face all swelled up,right where that red ball was,
(16:07):
and it burst, it was an abscess.
They could see.
They did endo endoscopy, theydid a full dental exam, they did
x-rays and they didn't see it.
But now they do.
And it's got like a track or afistula into a guttural pouch
and it's draining there.
Sure.
But is there a way that I couldhave interpreted that better or
(16:29):
is there, do you ask the energylike, I need more, that's not
enough because.
Now I know what it was, and thatI wasn't, bananas that she
really was showing me a red ballin the right spot, but I had no
idea what to do with it.
(16:49):
Yeah.
No, I think what I would say,Beth, to that is certainly you
can always ask for more detailsor more information, but anytime
I see a red energy, anytime ananimal or a human animal shows
me a red energy, it usuallytells me there's some pain
associated with it or some, andsome inflammation.
(17:11):
And what you could do.
is may perhaps do the Holy Firehealing experience with her.
And it's maybe not too late.
It might also, because eventhough physically the abscess in
your horse horse's face hasburst it's still probably,
there's still some energy therethat could use to be healed.
So I think I would just I thinkyou did a great job.
(17:33):
In fact, quite often when withanimal communication, what I
find is that when my own animalsare not well, I don't do animal
communication very well.
And that's because, you're so Iactually often will get my
assistant Bertina to communicateif I'm emotionally very
(17:55):
emotionally involved.
Yeah.
When I'm in love with my ownanimals.
So quite often I'll do that.
I'll I'll get somebody to helpme.
So, just one moment, please.
Oh, you need my car keys?
Sorry, guys.
Is this what you need?
Okay.
There you go.
No problem.
(18:16):
And so I think you did a greatjob.
You might want to continuethough with a holy fire healing
experience or some otherexperience that you're guided
to, to just continue helpingthat to heal and helping to
release the energy.
Does that make sense?
It does.
So if I ask for clarification ormore information, am I asking
(18:38):
the animal or am I asking theenergy?
You can ask of either.
Sometimes the animal is veryaware of what's going on and
they will communicate that withyou.
Sometimes they're not.
I've had some animals who arelike, you'll say this is going
on, what's happening?
And they'll say, I don't know.
I was hoping you could tell me.
And it definitely, in that case,I would turn around and ask the
(18:59):
energy, what is going on?
Sometimes the animals say it'sthis, and this is what I need,
so it just, I would say, I don'tknow what that means, and then I
would just hit the red ballagain, and but I don't know what
that means, so I probably shouldhave checked in with the energy
that night.
Yeah, to me, all that would meanis okay, I'm going to do some
energy on that red ball.
I'm going to do some, I'm goingto do some releasing work on
(19:21):
that red ball and see if I canlet it go.
But I think you did fine andprobably just recognizing it,
doing Reiki, doing what you weredoing, probably that's what
helped the abscess to burst andstart draining, which is what we
want, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, good job.
Okay, thank you.
You're welcome.
Guys, I see a question in thechat Cam had to head out, but
(19:42):
she was wondering if we allowReiki to flow with our hands or
fists clasped or clenched, nottensed, not in a tensed way,
could that be considered selfReiki and She was wondering if
anybody had experienced that.
She had always heard and seenReiki given with open palms, but
why not give oneself Reiki withclosed hands, knowing that
(20:04):
several meridians start at thetip of our fingers?
Could this be less effective orless powerful than sending with
open hands?
I'm not sure, Cam.
It's not something I've evertried.
I think what I would do is justgive it a try and do it both
ways.
And now you've got me curious,so now I'll do it both ways.
And and just see what you noticebecause certainly I do tend to
(20:28):
keep my hands open and myfingers closed because that's
what I was taught early on, butI also don't think it's the only
way to do Reiki or that it'snecessary.
So I think it would be fun toexperiment with that.
And we also, she also says, whydo we always talk about giving
Reiki with the hands?
William Rand's book talks abouthow Yasui Sensei gave Reiki with
(20:49):
his feet, and she's wondering ifother parts of our body could be
used like that.
So I think, Cam, with thatquestion, the main thing is that
many people don't, in NorthAmerica, don't really like to be
touched with feet.
There's kind of a, I don't know,but certainly we are aware that
Reiki can be can flow throughthe feet.
(21:11):
And Yasui Sensei did that whenhe was really after the Great
Kanto Earthquake when he was inTokyo and he was trying to treat
so many people, he would treatone person with each hand, one
person with each foot, so fourpeople.
A fifth person with his eyes anda sixth person with his breath.
(21:32):
And that was the time when Yesuiactually prayed.
And the eyes, yeah, the eyes andthe breath.
And when Yesui actually prayedand said, look, I need to train
more people.
There's only one of me.
I can't, I can't keep doingthis.
And that's when he learned thathe could pass on the ability
more quickly, more efficiently.
with something called anattunement.
(21:53):
So we know that in addition toour hands, we could use our feet
if a client or friend orwhatever wasn't opposed.
We also know though that wecould use our eyes and we could
use our breath.
And I will tell you that I usemy eyes and breath a lot, and
animals, really prefer.
(22:13):
I've been in my experience, animals have preferred receiving
Reiki from the both the eyes andthe breath.
So that's so that's an answer tothat.
And she's also wondering aboutSomeone touching an object or
person with their arms or theirhair with the intention of
sending Reiki?
I haven't heard of that, no.
(22:34):
So I can't really answer to thatquestion, and Em says that holy
fire is flowing.
She feels it.
You're about to burst into aholy fire flame.
And that's that definitelyhappens.
And certainly I started theenergy flowing before I even got
here tonight.
And Marissa said she used herfeet with her dog.
You know something, I do use myfeet with my, with Henry a lot,
(22:57):
my dog, and he needed to betouched in more than two places,
and sometimes you'll also addbreath and eyes and you also,
you have noticed.
Close hands work well, so welldone.
And then Lynn is recommendingsomething we teach in Animal
Reiki called Reiki Trails, wherewe actually just walk with our
feet and we leave the Reikibehind.
(23:18):
So there's just so manypossibilities with Reiki.
It's it's limitless, actually.
Any other questions, you guys, before I move into our scheduled
program for this evening?
I have a question about thedistant Reiki.
Now I had a session with you andyou did a meditation and that
was like, it was a wonderfulthing.
(23:39):
How do you get started with themeditation, like learning
meditations or what meditationsto use, that type of a thing?
When I was first taught distantReiki, it was like you had a
picture or a surrogate and then, you just scheduled a time and
they they would find a nicequiet place to sit, but there
(23:59):
wasn't the phone communicationat the time that I learned it.
Yeah, exactly.
And that is certainly one way todo distance Reiki with a
photograph or with a surrogate.
And I always did my distanceReiki on the phone.
And before I had my Holy FireReiki Masters, I used the hand
positions on a surrogate, evenwhen I was on the phone.
(24:21):
And there's, and that's one wayof doing a distance session.
There's nothing wrong with it.
It's very effective.
However, once I learned HolyFire at the master level, we
have several meditations that wecan choose from.
And I found the meditation soincredibly healing, especially,
(24:42):
I would have to say my go to isprobably the Holy Fire healing
experience.
It's just so powerful, and itreleases so much energy, it
heals so many things for people.
That I really started usingthose.
I've been using those in mymeditations and mostly I would
use the Holy Fire HealingExperience, but then I had some
repeat clients.
I started experimenting with theHoly Love Experience and the
(25:06):
Ocean of Holy Love and some ofthe, and the Banquet the Banquet
Hall Experience.
And so many of the experiencesthat we had in our manual, And
so that was really neat.
And then over time Animal Reikideveloped and Animal Reiki
brought us additionalmeditations to choose from.
(25:26):
And as I worked through the LRMTprogram, Colleen Benally
encouraged me to startlistening.
And actually, this is alsosomething that we did as part
of, as we were creating theAnimal Reiki course, to just
really start listening in theenergy and doing something
called invocations.
And invocation is just a, it's ahealing prayer.
(25:50):
And so I was very nervous aboutthat at first.
At first I started just usinginvocations that she had done,
but over time my confidence inmy ability to listen to the
energy came through andsometimes my sessions are Just
point blank, a holy fire healingexperience or one of the animal
(26:12):
Reiki meditations or some ofthem that I really go to a lot,
like the Rest, Receive andReplenish in the Tree of Life or
the Forgiveness, Garden ofForgiveness experience.
However I gained some confidenceand, used something.
Sometimes I do those.
Sometimes I simply listen.
(26:33):
It just depends on the clientand what they need.
And but you I wouldn't expectyou to do that right away.
That did take me quite a bit ofusing the meditations we already
had before I felt likeexpanding.
But if you do feel likeexpanding out and just
activating Reiki and listeningin the energy and incorporating
that, there's nothing wrong withthat either.
(26:54):
Does that help Tricxan?
Yes, it does a lot.
Thank you.
Oh, you're so welcome.
Any other questions, you guys, before I move on?
Okay, so guys, Scott has aquestion.
Oh, go ahead, Scott.
(27:20):
I, oh, I can't hear you.
Is it you that has a question?
Somebody also had a question.
I was going to let them gofirst.
Okay.
I thought I heard somebody.
No, I think she says, I thinkshe said you had a question.
Okay.
It came up since you came upwith Cam's question that clicked
in my mind yesterday I had aReiki share and somebody was
(27:41):
talking about the older text ofReiki or that, where they were
doing Reiki on themselves and.
It said you, it didn't matterthe palm position, you could do
it on the back of the palm orfront of the palm when you did
Reiki.
And I'm wondering if you evercome across that because this
was supposedly out of the late80s, early 90s or something like
(28:05):
that.
Have you ever heard of somethinglike that?
I haven't, but I do know, Scott, that there were some groups in
the late 80s and early 90s whobrought about some, some really
significant changes with Reiki, there's a group that believe you
have to put space between levelone and two.
That was never how Reiki was,but that came in around that
(28:28):
time frame.
Bringing the chakra system in,that came in around that time
frame.
But, yeah, no, I haven't seenthat yet, but there is a really
great book that is recommendedby William.
Rand and lots of Reiki peoplethat I've talked with by Justin
Stein.
It's a book that on how Mrs.
Takada practiced, and it, JustinStein is an historian.
(28:52):
He was able to really dig intosome of the history of Reiki.
Now, I have to admit that I'vestarted it but my schedule
hasn't allowed me to to continuewith it.
And I can't think of the name ofit right now.
And I was just trying to find itin my on my Kindle.
And it's been a while since I'velooked at it.
So I'm not I'm not seeing it.
(29:13):
But if you do want to check out,I think it's called Reiki
Connections by Justin Stein.
So that might be a really goodbook to check out some of the
history.
Thank you.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
And actually Emma is sayingshe's used the back of her
hands, palms up or out for rapidrelease and then flips them to
(29:34):
send.
So that's really cool.
And Kat says that she uses Onthe lower back, she uses the
back of her hands.
So there you go.
There's there's some really coolreally cool people that have had
experience with that, so greatquestions, Scott.
And now I'm going to try it, ofcourse.
You know that I am.
(29:55):
So guys in this week's podcastor this month's podcast and
Reiki share, I'd like to talk alittle bit about that powerful
time or moment when your dreamsbegin to manifest and the
surprising discomfort that oftencomes with stepping into the
life you've envisioned.
Sometimes it's a new career, asuccessful venture, starting a
(30:20):
business, a personalbreakthrough, a positive change.
And when these happen, it canbring up feelings of
uncertainty, fear, impostersyndrome.
So I'd like to go into that alittle bit so that if there is a
positive change that you'reconsidering, it's something that
(30:43):
you can embrace This new chapterof your life with confidence,
grace, and ease.
And I'll tell you why this cameup.
It's I actually had a momentyesterday, when I realized, oh
my goodness, I think I'm goingto win this election.
And obviously I was workingtoward that the whole time.
(31:04):
And I actually felt a few weeksago okay, I think this has very,
I think it's happening.
But then I had to deal with noway.
I had all that discomfort thatI've seen in so many clients.
That was like what does lifelook like when that happens?
And.
What changes is that going tobring?
(31:26):
And I was so shocked at thediscomfort that I experienced as
a result of that.
And I've seen it so many timesin my clients that I realized,
okay, this is a discussion thatwe need to have.
And so one of the reasonspositive change.
(31:46):
I really had to dive into ittoo.
One of the reasons that it canfeel uncomfortable, even if it's
something you've worked hardfor, is there's a couple of
things.
One is we're geneticallypredispositioned to expect or to
roll with hardship and negativechange.
(32:06):
And so positive change.
We're not sure what to do withand one of the reasons is this,
you, when you go into positivechange, first of all, it's a
choice, you're stepping into it.
Secondly, You really are basing,we base the majority of our
(32:27):
decisions and information on ourpast, our history.
So if we're stepping intosomething brand new, we don't
have a history to, fall back onwe have no idea what that looks
like.
And that's very disconcerting.
We seem to like to know what'shappening, what it looks like.
(32:50):
And that's the discomfort that Ifound myself in the other day.
And the other thing that happensis imposter syndrome.
We think I can't tell you howmany times, who am I?
To be successful with this, whoam I to have all of these
amazing things happen?
And the real question is who areyou not to be?
(33:14):
And, but for some reason thatsort of shows up.
It's a bit of a worthiness.
thing, I think.
And we also have a fear ofsuccess, and that fear of
success is a little bit around,I think, the fear of the
unknown.
It's also a fear of theexpectation that people will
have on you, and it's also, there's always going to be some
(33:35):
emotional upheaval when you stepout of old patterns.
This is something that I think Italked about last time, how
there was so much chaoshappening in my life that I
realized, okay, that chaos istelling me this is probably
going to have a positive outcomebecause anything, anytime
(33:57):
something really major andreally positive happened in my
life, there was usually a fairbit of chaos that happened
first.
And I think that chaos comes into create the shift, to release
the energies that are holdingyou in this state.
I think that's where the chaoscomes in.
And so I realized okay, this isprobably really positive, and
(34:19):
that's what we talked about lasttime.
But now, this time, I had tothink okay, wow.
And so if this is successful, what does that mean?
And I really don't know what itmeans.
I know some aspects of it, butthere's very many unknowns and
that can be reallyuncomfortable.
The thing that we have though.
(34:40):
in our back pockets is that wehave Reiki.
And I often think about peoplewho don't have Reiki, and I
wonder how they do things, howthey get by difficulties, and
even wonderful positive changes.
But it's important to rememberthat Reiki is always here for
us, and something I decided todo yesterday when I started
(35:01):
feeling all of that discomfort,I remembered.
that I had Reiki.
And I said, Oh, yeah, I cansurrender this thing, whether
it's good or bad.
I can surrender it to Reiki andsay, Hey, why don't you look
after this for me?
And I'll follow your guidance.
So I did surrender.
(35:21):
that to Reiki because Reiki isalways there to support us in
times of transition.
So I got very grounded andthat's one of the things we're
going to do today.
In fact, one of the things Ilike to do in getting grounded
in a space is I actually like toallow my consciousness and my
energy to sink down into theearth, go through the soil, go
(35:44):
into the groundwater, underneaththe soil, and then all the way
to the bedrock underneath thegroundwater.
And what that does is that tapsme into the physical place.
that I'm in.
It taps me into the water.
We're all made mostly of water.
Water is a wonderful conductor.
And then I, once I get to thatbedrock, I just allow any
(36:08):
energies that need to release todo and any energies of the earth
that need to come back upthrough me.
To fill that space that justreleased to do that.
And this is something ColleenBenelli introduced me to, just
the importance of wherever youtravel, wherever you go, the
importance of going all the waydown to the groundwater and to
the bedrock beneath and justreally connecting with the place
(36:32):
that you're in, the place thatyou're at.
That's what I, that's what I didyesterday, and I decided to
surrender the process over toReiki, and I also have an
incredible campaign manager, Ihave two but Mel McCarthy, and
Mel just listened to where I wasuncomfortable and told me, Yeah,
(36:53):
it's normal to be uncomfortable.
This is a lot.
And so those two things.
And then surrendering it and Iwas just able to completely let
it go partway through the day.
It felt so much better.
And I also want to just give ashout out to Jenny who campaigns
with me tirelessly.
So just the fact that I was ableto canvas with her yesterday and
(37:15):
Matt, my other campaign manager, just really appreciate all of
these wonderful people.
I appreciate Kristin.
And the folks that are doing thedata entry and Carol and Joanne
and everyone.
Some of the things that can helpus, though, in addition to this,
is just simple daily practices.
They can help ease thisdiscomfort.
(37:38):
Our self Reiki treatment.
We can also journal and doautomatic writing with Reiki to
try to figure out wait, what'sthe problem here?
And it took me a moment tofigure out like what is the
problem?
And at one point when I feltdiscomfort, I was worried that
if I didn't win, I would beletting my team down.
But then yesterday's discomfortwas different.
(38:00):
I realized oh, it's that I don'tknow what I'm going forward to.
And so if you can take some timeto just write automatically, a
lot of times Reiki will help youunderstand what's at the root of
it.
And then you can actually alsouse reiki with visualization.
And that's what we're gonna dotoday where you visualize the
(38:22):
situation working out the waythat you wish and hope and so
on.
And.
you allow that visualizationwith Reiki to show you what it
will look like so that it's notan unknown and so that you
really know what you're goingforward to and into.
(38:43):
Tonight we're going to do aguided meditation to just
embrace your dreams and justmake it a little bit simpler for
you to move into that.
And so I'm just going to inviteyou to make yourselves
comfortable, whether you'resitting or lying down, just
allow yourself to relax and AndI also want to bring up a point
(39:11):
that showed up in one of mysessions today, which is that
self love, self realization, andself actualization are not
selfish.
That when we allow ourselves torise in our vibration, when we
(39:37):
allow ourselves to loveourselves, to realize.
What we're meant to be, wherewe're meant to go self
actualization, be who we camehere to be.
That is the opposite of selfish.
We sometimes think of it asselfish because I'm focused on
myself, but it's only in doingthat, and this is according to
(40:00):
Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, which has been showing up a lot
as I've been canvassing, andpeople are hurting right now in
my community.
And it's actually the oppositeof selfish because when you show
up self realized, selfactualized.
You're actually contributing tothe whole from a stronger place.
(40:27):
We're going to take this timetonight just to reflect,
receive, and let go.
Recognizing that when we domanifest our dreams, it
sometimes brings up discomfort, fear, doubt, many things.
But this meditation, we're goingto use it tonight to just ask
Reiki to help us ground into ournew reality and open up fully to
(40:53):
all the positive changes in yourlife.
So I'd like you to think aboutan area that you would like to
embrace positive change.
And as you do, I invite you tojust close your eyes and Take a
deep breath in, and on yourexhale, just let all the tension
(41:16):
and stress leave your body, allthe busyness of your day,
everything you think about, needto think about later, this
moment is about you and for you.
And I'm going to ask you toimagine roots now, just growing
from the base of your spine andthe soles of your feet, and
(41:38):
sinking deeply into the earth, and just allowing your
consciousness to follow those.
And these roots are creating thestability and safety that allow
us to fully step into ourdreams.
And I invite you to take yourconsciousness down even further
now into the groundwater all theway down to the bedrock and the
(42:03):
roots might even reach all theway down there and just feel
yourself firmly planted whereyou are.
It's so important to rememberthat our bodies are made of the
earth to give our spirits lifeand breath.
And that is true no matter whichperspective you examine it from.
(42:29):
If you think of yourself as afetus.
And that every one of us hadmothers who ate food that was
grown in the earth, of theearth, from a tiny seed.
And that this is what nourishedus and created and turned us
from a tiny seed into thehealthy human beings that we
(42:51):
are.
And so just, appreciating andacknowledging that connection
with the earth and theimportance of it.
If there's anything that youneed to let go in order to step
into that positive new reality, maybe it's a limiting belief,
(43:18):
maybe it's an injury, illness, could be layers of the ways and
worries of the world.
If there's anything that'skeeping you stuck in the
vibration that you're in, youcan just allow it to flow down
(43:41):
through those roots and into theearth.
The earth is going to transmuteit into something beautiful.
You may even, if you visualize, you may even see it sparkle.
And now that we're firmlyconnected to the earth, I'm
going to invite everyone toplace your hands in Gassho.
and just invite the Reiki energyto flow.
(44:05):
Just sense the energy fillingyour body.
Feel it move through your hands, your heart, your mind.
This Reiki energy is here tosupport you as you navigate the
changes that are unfolding inyour life.
I invite you to trust in itswisdom, knowing that it is here
(44:25):
to guide you every step of theway.
And now place your activatedReiki hands comfortably on your
body, wherever you feel guided, and I invite you to bring to
mind Your dream, this positivechange, it could be a new
(44:55):
opportunity, a personalachievement, a change you've
been working toward for sometime, but picture it very
clearly now, and I'd like you topicture it as though it is
already manifested in your life.
Notice how it feels.
Notice the joy, the excitement, and also notice any discomfort,
(45:19):
fear, or uncertainty that youmight feel.
And as you continue to breathe, just feel the Reiki energy
flowing to any areas ofdiscomfort or doubt.
Just imagine or allow it togently dissolve those feelings
(45:42):
like sunlight melting away themorning fog.
We allow Reiki to establish asense of calm and trust, trust
in your journey, in yourworthiness, and in the beauty of
your dream unfolding.
(46:05):
I invite you to let go of anyfear or hesitation, just
releasing that into the earth, releasing any limiting beliefs.
And we're just going to remainhere for a few moments.
As all of those old stagnantenergies clear away.
(47:33):
Now I invite you to bring in thedistance symbol, and allow it to
create a bridge between whereyou are right now, and that new
reality that you've imagined.
Understand that you're safe, you're supported, and I'd like
(47:55):
you to take that bridge forwardto a time when this new reality
is fully realized.
You just notice the doorsopening before you, the
opportunities flowing, and yourconfidence growing.
(48:17):
And you're going forward to atime when you're feeling good in
this new reality, you'reconfident.
It may have even evolved alittle bit from what you think
it might look like right now.
I invite you to walk across thebridge, step into that future
(48:38):
place in time, and it may not bevery distant future, but it is
future, And we're just going toremain here so that you can
allow Reiki to anchor you intothis feeling of success and
abundance.
And I invite you to look aroundand notice where you are, what
(48:58):
is happening, who's with you, what's around you.
And if it makes sense to you,you can walk over to your future
self and just sit down with themon a bench and have a
conversation.
Ask them how they feel.
(49:22):
about this new reality.
And you may even want to askthem, how did we get here?
How did this person feel aboutit?
Go ahead and ask them whateverquestions that you need, but
just allow yourself to getanchored in that beautiful,
wonderful feeling of your futuresuccess.
(49:43):
And we're going to remain herefor some time tonight.
(54:25):
Take a few more deep breaths, just allowing yourself to fully
absorb the Reiki energy.
And when you're ready, You canbring your hands into Gassho
once more in gratitude for thechanges in your life, the
changes to come, the lessonslearned, and the strength that
(54:48):
you have within you to embraceit all.
You've got this.
I want you to know that you canreturn to this space and this
meditation any time that youneed support or reassurance or
for the next amazing dreamthat's about to come true.
(55:10):
And I invite you to bring yourawareness slowly back into the
room, taking a deep breath.
Whenever you feel ready, bringyour attention to your eyes,
slowly open your eyes and comeback, and just bring with you
this feeling of peace andconfidence that you do have
(55:31):
this.
And as you move forward, justremembering that when you step
into your dream, this is ajourney, and Reiki is here to
help you with each step.
I invite you to trust in theprocess.
Trust in yourself.
(55:51):
You've worked hard to bring yourdreams to life.
You are worthy.
You deserve them.
Now is time to embrace themfully.
I'd like to thank you for beinghere with us today.
Thank you for being thebeautiful light that you are in
the world.
Namaste.
