I don't know why we can't figure this out ourselves. In this podcast, I go through some of the reasons why you should not date co-workers or someone you work with.

Yo, yo, yo, what is up, guys? My name is Jameel.

Welcome back to relation-it, where we solve

your real life problems. And you get the right answers.

This is also a relationship advice podcast.

Or, you know, if you need any type of advice for

any real life problems, I'm here to help. I'm

your host, your meal. Like I said, in the intro,

today's topic is going to be about is if you should

get your I've had a couple of people that have

talked to that brought this up, because they

may have a crush on one of their co-workers.

You know, I'm a male friend that is obsessed

with this girl and well, they work together.

There they flirt with each other and he's like,

hey man, Jameel, I really need your help. I really

need your help to decide if it would be a good

idea to date her and I have come up to the conclusion

after just thinking about this topic.

I don't think it's a good idea to date your coworker.

As a matter of fact, it's a terrible idea and

there's a little bit of reasons why first of

all whenever you date someone and the relationship

goes bad, it can lead to conflict in the workplace.

So if things don't work out you guys break up

for some reason, you know, maybe she finds another boyfriend.

Maybe you're like man I f****** hate that b****.

She's crazy, she acts. Crazy, she's too crazy for me.

Then she can I mean, hey y'all get into fights

all the time. Y'all break up. Boom. Thanks can

be really awkward in the workplace making it

really really uncomfortable. When you see

the co-worker everyday. I mean, especially

you work in the same department. And also there's

another reason it can lead to drama and gossip

in the office or workplace. I mean, eventually

people are going to find out that you two used to date.

Used to you guys used to Get along all the time.

Maybe you guys, maybe kept it secret. But inevitably

people will talk about you and your relationship.

It's just not really healthy when you're working

because when you're on the clock, you're expected

to work.you know gossip and talk about. Oh my god.

Did you see Jennifer? She's a she's a slow and

it's just gonna bring down the morale of the

team to now also it can be really tough to maintain pounds.

In a romantic relationship when you're also

working itself, like going to see each other

every day at work every day. Maybe you guys are

not having a great day with each other. Oh, and

it's going to be tough just you know, keeping

things, you know, it's her personal level and

on a work level. It's just really never a good thing.

And my motto is To just that shit where you eat

if the company is paying you to work, you know,

don't date anybody in Your and your workplace.

I know it's not wrong at all. To be honest. It's not.

I mean, it's inevitable, that you're going

to be attracted to one of your co-workers. I've

been attracted to a lot of my co-workers female

co-workers that I'm like damn, you know, they're hot.

I'll Bank them. But at the same time, yeah, if

you decide to date, them is going to be a really bad idea.

And also what I was, what else? I mean, it's just

really, it's not, it's just not a smart idea,

especially If you are working in a corporate

type job office type job and you let's just say

you're a male. There's always going to be the

me to movement or what happened. Like a couple

of years ago where they accuse, a lot of these

men of false, Alex false accusations, something

may have happened. But some of it probably didn't

really happen or was consensual. It's just

not really a smart idea. Now, they get reports you.

To HR and boom. It's Your Den or your career.

It's just, it's just not really a good idea.

It's like it's like a little assist Step Up Above dating.

Your step-sibling. If especially if it's like

a new marriage. Yeah, you guys ain't related,

but it can cause a lot of conflict in the family

just like, well, this example, it can cause

a lot of conflict with the workplace and I've

had experience with one. There was one couple

that they used to date. They said they dated

and they worked at the same place. They broke up.

They couldn't even work together. Like they

would talk shit about each other. It was just

awful because it's just jealousy. The guy was f*** boy.

He had different girlfriends after they broke

up so she would get pissed off at him. It was just

really toxic. They could not even work together. I believe.

I said this. Yeah, they couldn't even work together.

It's just not a good idea man. And I understand

like you're attracted to the girl. I'm going

to say this because you know, the guy is listening

to this podcast ever tried to the girl. You're

like a man, but it's just not it's not going to

be worth it. If you really want to keep your job,

then don't do it. But you know, hey, maybe you're

working at Walmart. Maybe Circle K. Maybe grocery

store where you can find other jobs like that.

Hey, then you can Take your chance and it's up to you.

It's just I wouldn't want to mix work with love.

Unfortunately, even if you know, it's tough

I get it but those are the those are the reasons

why I wouldn't want to date a co-worker, you

know leads to conflict in the workplace drama.

Don't want to deal with the drama and then you

know, it's really tough to maintain boundaries.

You're going to be seeing that person every day.

So if you guys like the podcast, don't be afraid.

Ed to, you know, like it the Listen to More relation,
