Here we are--in continuation of our "CPR" Series and we still have a lot to learn! In this episode, Molly and Dr. Basey discuss more brain basics as they talk about the small part of your brain called the "reticular activating system" or "The RAS". Knowing how this part of your brain works as a filter, we can then choose where to focus that filter--either on something negative or something positive. Since we know that it takes 21 days to change a thought pattern, Dr. Basey talks about how to starve the old thought pathways and replace or "feed" the new thoughts through intentional choices.
