Welcome back to another jam-packed episode of *Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast*! This week, Remy is joined at the Roundtable by Jen, Mike, and Unk, while Nicole and Jimmy take the night off. Even with a few chairs empty, the crew dives headfirst into a fun-filled episode full of theme park magic, foodie finds, legal drama, and travel tips!

We kick things off with Remy's icebreaker question that sparks some fun debate: *If you could live in any Disney home from any movie, show, or attraction, where would you settle down?* The answers range from dreamy castles to iconic park attractions, and you might be surprised by Remy’s pick straight out of a Disney theme park itself!

Next up, it's time for your **Latest Theme Park Updates**, where the team covers a wave of construction news happening across both Disney and Universal parks. But that’s not all — things get a little wild as we dive into a breaking story: both Disney and Universal have filed lawsuits against an AI company for copyright infringement. What does this mean for the future of intellectual property and entertainment technology? The Roundtable shares its thoughts.

Then, it’s time to pull up a chair and get hungry for **Mike's Munchies**, as Mike takes us on a tasty trip to the **Diamond Horseshoe** inside Magic Kingdom. From hearty entrees to sweet desserts, Mike breaks down the full dining experience while Remy calculates the total, as always!

And finally, Unk closes out the episode with another **Travel Guide Update**, offering helpful tips and insights for anyone planning their next theme park adventure to Florida. From hidden gems to pro-level travel advice, Unk has you covered.

So grab your favorite park snack, sit back, and enjoy this packed episode of *Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast* — where the magic, the laughs, and the theme park news never stop!

(05:07):
always is my dangerous Co host, my partner in crime, my lovely
wife Jen. Hi honey, how you doing?
I'm. Doing fabulous.
We have our foodie back with with us.
Mike, what's up dude? How you doing?
I'm. Doing great right now.
Yeah, I'm you're back, dude. You're back with us.
It's been a while. It's been a few weeks, yeah.
It has been a few weeks and all of your recordings came in
nicely. So there you go dude.

(05:31):
We also have our travel update advisor.
We have UNK with us. UNK, what's up dude?
How you doing man? Doing well, doing well.
How you guys doing? Good.
OK, so I was listening to a showon the radio, you know, You
know, I get it. Got me thinking.
I'm curious about what type of Disney home would you like to
stay in? If you had to choose all the

(05:52):
movies, all the Disney movies and he picks our movies, what
house would you guys stay in? But what house I would stay in?
Yeah, like which hat? Like you know like some Disney
movies have houses and stuff. So that's my question, what
Disney house or which Dizzy picks our house would you guys
stay in all? Right.
That's a tough one. Because I got mine all set.

(06:13):
Wait, oh, I got mine. What you got, Mike?
What's yours? This is going to be an hour, but
I don't care. I like it.
Incredible. The house from incredible Truths
that they were staying at that water feature house that.
Was the mansion you want to stayin the incredibles 2 Mansion
House? Yeah, why not?
It's a cool ass trick. It's a wait, are we what we're
talking? If it was, if we were talking,

(06:33):
say, if we were adding a marvel to the, then I would change my
answer. But.
OK, All right. So if you want to change your
answer, go ahead. But if you want to stay in stay
with Incredibles, that's fine. Are you, are we at wait does are
we including Marvel? Yes, OK, that that's actually
come back to me. That's tough one.
Come back to you. All right, fine.
We'll come back to Mike. How about you, man?

(06:55):
What Disney house would you stayin?
My realistic one. I would want to stay in the
house from Boy Meets World. OK.
Use house. OK, that's a realistic house.
That. Is yeah, but my my go with me
house would be the house from Smart House it was.
Yeah, yes. D com yeah yeah.

(07:16):
As long as it doesn't go crazy like it did in that movie, it
would be a cool house. Where the, where the AI took
over and, yeah, has become, like, became real, although it
was not real. So.
Katie Segal. Katie Segal.
Katie Segal. Yeah.
All right, Jen, how about you? What house would I want to live
in? What house would you, which
Disney themed house would you stay in?

(07:37):
I mean, it could be Disney, Pixar, Marvel, yeah.
That isn't interesting question honestly.
OK. So it would OK, it would be
between the she's. Laughing.
Between be between the house thethe Seven dwarfs house.
The Seven Dwarfs house? Really.
Little cottage in the woods. That would be awesome.

(07:59):
I'm the reclusive type sometimes.
Or the Incredibles house. The Incredibles house OK, so
not. What?
What the second movie? So my yeah.
Exactly the second movie, not the one where he just lost his
job as as the insurance broker, the one where he or adjuster or
whatever, the one where he sees Jack Jack like turn into all of

(08:21):
the things. That's incredible, too.
Yes, that's what I said. OK, got it.
All right. Cool.
Because that's a freaking awesome looking house.
No, yeah. There it is.
But Rummy knows this. My dream if I ever were to get a
house would be in the in the country in Kentucky and have
horses have like a big old farm with horses and dogs.
We're not. We are not moving to Kentucky.

(08:43):
Agreed. We're not moving to Kentucky.
However, if I were to ever do that, that's what I'd want to
do. I'd want to live in the country,
obviously have, you know, the right kind of utilities and
things like that and access to the Internet.
But I'd want to have horses and I'd want to have dogs.
Can we get can we get a cow too?And maybe mini goats.
Can we get a mini cow? I want a mini cow.

(09:04):
Honestly, Kate, Katie, Vince like is like living my dream.
Yes, she is. She lives in Tennessee, but
seriously? All right, so for me, for my
Disney house, you got you all. You're all going to hate me
because it is a also a Disney attraction.
I don't want to stay. I don't want to stay in the
Haunted Mansion. I figured.
You know what I mean, It could be fun.

(09:25):
That's what I want to say. OK so besides OK if I had to
choose one from Incredibles, like I said the Incredibles
mansion from Incredibles 2 it isamazing with all the different
water feature, it has everything.
I would love that house. Yes.
The Witch House, The Incredibles2.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Incredibles mentioned the other
one which I thought about and itwould be really fun is which I'm

(09:49):
supposed you to think about the well actually Jen, I could see
why you wouldn't want this one and I'm surprised though I'm
surprised no one thought about this one.
The Avengers last Stark slash. You want to you want to say
Stark Tower? I wouldn't want to live in Stark
Towers, I'd want to live where he did after the snap.
Yeah, the compound. Yeah, the little, the little log

(10:10):
cabin. Wait, actually, no, my bad.
Not the not the tall one. My bad.
I do like the tower, but it is really tall.
Actually the one I really would like to do because it's because
I actually saw some of the stuffthere at The Avengers campus.
You want to stay at the campus? The the big giant thing, Yeah,
it's literally just like the tower.
It's just that instead of it being tall, it's on the ground.

(10:31):
It's all on the ground. Well, OK, I mean.
Hey, you still got, you literally got that kick ass bar
with a whole bunch of R&D stuff. That's true.
Yeah, we did. Talk about all that stuff.
How much would a pet he has a how much would a pet he has to
like literal restaurants in there and a massage place?
He's Tony freaking Stark, man. I mean, he'll have, he'll have

(10:51):
all that stuff in there. I.
Mean either the tower or the compound, either what I like.
I don't know if he has. They haven't stated.
That would you, would you be, would you be afraid that, you
know, would be kind of scared ifany all, if all the robots just
came after you in that house? OK, I can see why, but we're
just talking about it, not having to deal with all that

(11:11):
crazy stuff. That's kind of the point I'm
trying to make, Mike. I mean, think about it, Tony.
Still, Tony Stark made all thoserobotic arms and he made all the
the Iron Man suits. If those came alive, you'll be
dead. OK true, but the only time, the
only time where he didn't where that had an issue, where they
started kill, where a machine hemade started causing mass

(11:33):
mayhem, it was when it was Ultron.
Oh yeah, that movie, that move was good too, so.
Yeah, Which, by the way, yeah, if you know this Ultron wasn't
created by Tony Stark in the comics, you know who actually
created him, right? I'm trying to think the guy it
wasn't Silver Surfer. I know that because that's
that's from that's from the Fantastic Four, which is

(11:56):
completely, which is, which is aMarvel movie and who, who
created. I'm the actual person who
created it was Hank PIM. Oh, PIM.
Wow. Yes, except for if you want to
know why he people in the comics, Pip Hank Pip created him
when he was going through depression and he was drinking a
lot. Damn.

(12:17):
So that's so he literally so that's why Ultron is kind of
evil in the comics because graded up during his possibly
his darkest moment when he was like in a really bad.
Place. He's evil.
He's sarcastic. He's the best.
Yeah, he's but yeah, yeah, and in in the MCU, Tony created him

(12:37):
by. Just by mistake By mistake.
And was in the mind stone specifically.
That's true. All right, guys.
So we all decided which house wewant to stay in.
And it's cool because I heard this on a on a radio show and it
wasn't really what they ask is how I want to ask you guys, But
just keep it dizzy themed, Keep it, you know, movie themed,
whatever. But here's what I want to ask

(12:59):
Funk Father's Days, Father's Days this weekend, man.
How? What do you think your kids are
going to get you for Father's Day, man?
Nothing, because we're going to Disney.
Yeah. And what we normally do is we'll
do like a gift certificate to pick something out at Disney.
At the park, at Disney Springs, at the resort.

(13:23):
OK. All right.
Yeah, we usually like, that's what I did, we did for my wife
and my mom is we gave them gift certificates to pick something
out that the on vacation. And that's what I'm going to do
for my dad because he's going onthe trip with us and I'm going
to assume what my kids will do as well.
But. Cool.
Well, let me like we, I mean we've set us off there before,

(13:44):
but since you guys are come to come to town and since Jen and I
have one of the best annual passes and we're going to if
we're going to able to hang out with you guys, you guys can use
our our discount. Sounds good.
Thank you. Yeah, All right, so besides with
the theme parks guys, let's go ahead and jump right into it.

they're starting to get into allof the the electric stuff over
at the hall of presidents. The lobby has officially

(14:50):
officially reopened amid ongoingrefurbishment.
Muppets attraction rumor. That's right.
So if you guys don't remember, there was a, a natural Muppets
show at the Magic Kingdom where they'll pop up like in some of
the Magic Kingdom windows over by the liberty Liberty Square
area. They, they did a show during
like 4th of July season. But now Disney is reportedly

(15:16):
exploring a Muppets theme replacement for the Hall of
Presidents that might, that might, that might come true.
And I know this is part of what this is.
This is supposed to be, this is supposed to be, you know, for
Hollywood Studios. But I'm going to say it anyways
for Hollywood, for Hollywood Studios.
Rock'n'roll Coaster update Dizzyconfirms that The Muppets
reimagining of Rock and roller coaster will begin in 2026,

(15:40):
which is next year, but the coaster will remain open through
the end of 2025. All right, Jan, what we got for
Epcot? On to Epcot, we have Donald Duck
meet and greet. It's temporary closed in the
Mexico Pavilion due to ongoing concrete or the Rose and crown
pianist pianist temporarily playing at the Odyssey Pavilion
while the regular location undergoes adjustments.

(16:01):
The two new Mamba cakes inspiredby German fruit candy.
These St. These sweets treats have debuted
in Epcot Germany pavilion and here's an annual pass holder
exclusive. There's a Dopey meet and greet
meet Dopey at the dirt dirt teddy bear and or teddy bar.
That's so weird sounding. I know Dirt Teddy bar in Germany

(16:22):
pavilion daily from 5:50 throughJuly 31st.
We have a grabbing goof that opens.
It's a new kind of kid friendly snack stand that has opened
offering sweet treats and test track obviously continues
construction. The walls are down with
reopening near completion. Test Track is looking ready for
guests. That's right.

(16:43):
That's all some of the photos and the new, the new logo for
Test Track looks amazing. So So yeah, speaking about for
that, we're now heading over fortwo.
Disney's Hollywood Studios Muppet Vision 3D attraction has
been removed from all of the maps at Disney's Hollywood
Studios, and the theater is now blocked by planters.

(17:04):
The Little Mermaid, a musical adventure.
Disney shifts to scheduled showtimes to help with crowd
management and hint at a potential Lightning Lane access
coming soon. So that yeah, it might have a
lightning Lane access, but rightnow it's standby.
Make sure you guys get there early to go to the shows, which
tomorrow Jen and I will be goingto Hollywood Studios and we're

(17:27):
going to go see the new Villainsshow.
And then after that we'll probably just head on over to
Epcot for the rest of the day. New Starbucks mug features
Muppets and Lightning McQueen isnow available for $25.
There is a This is a Monsters Inc update.
The Monsters Inc land construction Disney clears 10

(17:50):
acres of cast member parking to begin construction on the
Monsters Inc door vault roller coaster.
Updated guide match have been released The new Hollywood
Studios guide match shows no more Muppet Vision 3D and of
course, Muppet Vision 3D glassesresellers are back at it again,
flipping the collectible glassesafter the show's final

(18:11):
performances. What the?
It's normal. Stupid resellers, that's.
What they do All right, let's goon to Disney resorts and roads.
The Polynesian Village Resort, their new main entrance
construction is underway. There are some roadway to
improvements. Central Florida Tourism
Oversight District will widen Western way the to and improve

(18:32):
interchanges with one of us to drive.
All right, so apparently Disney Imagineers is going is going to
be they're actually working on apenny prowl walk around
character for Disney parks, resorts and cruises.
That's pretty cool. I mean, I mean, I know most
people don't do not know who Penny Proud is, but you know,

(18:54):
it's Penny Proud, the front fromthe Proud family.
Oh, I know who Penny Proud is. The TV show, The proud family.
All right, Jen, what we got for Universal?
All right, let's go on over to Universal Studios ET Adventure.
It reopens to guests on June 14th.
Ghostbusters roller coaster rumor and it is just a rumor.
There's new information that surfaces that Universal may be

(19:15):
developing Egg Ghostbusters themed coaster.
There is a legal battle going onbetween Disney and Universal
Studios. They find it filed a joint
lawsuit against Mid Journey for copyright infringement.
Yep. Alright, so now we are now
heading over. What the copyright infringement
is on or what they're allegedly doing.
But hey, that's just Remy's roundtable for you.

(19:37):
There you go. So all right, so we are heading
over to Epic Universe and that is epic Universe is a rumor, a
full on rumor, but we all know Universal and they're they want
to be competitive with Disney and all the other theme parks
here in Florida. But this is this is going to
happen. Trust me on this.
It will happen. Sure, Epic Universe may be

(19:58):
planning additional portals for the theme park.
That's all I'm going to say because they haven't said which.
Which portals? I do know that over at Islands
of Adventure, we all know that Passanas Ferry is gone.
And what I've heard from from articles and from other team
members and some other friends who actually still work at

(20:20):
Universal. If you guys went to Epic
Universe and you went through the Super Mario World and
Nintendo World gift shop, there's a little hint of a Zelda
that might be pushing towards Poseidon's Furies building,
getting a Zelda attraction. Legends of Zelda, come on.

(20:41):
Yeah, uh huh. Jen doesn't believe me.
Nope. All right, let's go on with
SeaWorld. We have bands, brews and
barbecue, and now we have their lineup.
Get ready for this. They have a journey tribute
band, Woohoo. Joe Nichols, who's a country
music artist, by the way. Toby Keith tribute, Rest in
peace, Blue Öyster Cult, which is cool.

(21:01):
More cowbell dolkin I think is what it's called Dokken.
Yeah, Dolkin. OK, Avery, Anna.
Never heard of them. Low cash.
Never heard of them Fuel and LitNever heard of them.
Lee, Greenwood, Yeehaw and more acts are being announced.
OK, so I just realized that withthis lineup, it looks like it's
gonna be all Country Artists 4. Of them are, yeah.

(21:22):
Yeah, for for this, for this festival.
Journey isn't, but that's like 80s music.
Joe Nichols is an old time country music person.
Like 90s Toby Keith passed away so they have a tribute man.
And Lee Greenwood is proud to bean American.
We're at least I no, I'm free. That's really that's.

(21:43):
Not free that much. That's Lee Green.
That's Lee Greenwood. Wow.
Anyway, you were saying there are a lot of country artists
there. There are not a lot of artists
that I would go and see. Yeah, I mean, I will.
Go. Hopefully that'll change.
I would go. I wouldn't mind seeing Blue
Öyster Cult though. I wouldn't mind.
Seeing that one song that I remember.
All right, we're heading over toMark Cowbell.

(22:03):
Yes, we are heading over to Tampa for a little bit talking
about Busch Gardens. That's right, free beer is back
for normal get for normal guests, you will get one
complimentary beer per day for the for their annual pass
holders. You guys will get 2
complimentary beer per day. And we got some sad news and

(22:26):
that is the Wild Oasis opening has been postponed.
So stay tuned for the new opening date, which they have
not say. They haven't said anything about
the new date yet. Some Central Florida area
updates Children's proposed museum Winter Garden is
considering a new children's museum for city owned, city
owned land. The Blue Bamboo, which used to

(22:47):
be at a little warehouse in Winter Park, is having a grand
opening. The new performing arts venue
opens in June 22nd at the formerWinter Park Library space.
Yep, and there's some events going on for the Blue Bamboo and
their calendar is actually updated.
So head on over to that website and you guys can see which bands
will be performing at the Blue Bamboo starting in July, which

(23:11):
most likely I'll be going back to the Blue Bamboo.
So there we go and guys that will do it.

So think us back through magic skies.
Take it away. Take it away.
OK. OK.
I'll stop talking now. Thank you.

(25:24):
Ready. I've got this.
Ladies and gentlemen. She's about to drop the Pixie
dust. Let's rewind.
Rail. So whether it's light, the films
of magical tales were charting the time, like fighting the
reals. So when it all happened in
Disney's way, celebrating the magic that made today now.

(25:44):
This day in Disney history starts now with Jack.
Ladies and gentlemen, she's about to drop the Pixie dust,

(26:09):
which we want to reel. So whether it's Rice films, the
magical tales, charting the timeline, riding the rails to
when it all happened in Disney'sway, celebrating the magic, the
mate today, this day, Disney history.
Starts now with. All right, another episode of

(26:38):
this day in Disney history from the dates June 11th to June 17.
On June 11th, 1929, history is making in the making.
Walt Disney officially files thetrademark trademark application
for the image of Mickey Mouse with the United States Patent
Office. The mouse that started it all
begins his legal journey. Cool.

(26:58):
And June 11th, 1977, the sparkling lights of the Main
Street Electrical Parade light up Walt Disney World for the
very first time. This dazzling nighttime parade
becomes an instant classic. On June 11th, 1983, a refreshing
addition arrives at Epcot. The Refreshment Outpost Snack
Bar opens in World Showcase, offering guests cool treats

(27:20):
while they stroll around the world.
On June 11th, 2007 at Disneyland, guests dive into the
ocean as Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage opens to the general
public. Based on that beloved Disney
Pixar film Finding Nemo, this attraction gives new life to the
classic submarine. June 11th, 2010 over at Disney

(27:42):

Color officially debuts, mesmerizing guests with

milestones next time, right herein this day in Disney history
with me. Thank you, Jen, thank you so
much for this day in Disney history.
And we'll be sure to get more stuff, more Disney history next
week right here on Remy's Roundtable.
Well guys, we're well guys, we are, we're still hungry and we

(32:07):
are still, we are still hungry. So guys, let's go ahead and jump
right into it. It is now time for Mike's
munchies. All right, you hungry ass sons
of bitches, it's now time for Mike's Munchies.
Munchies, Grab your forks, loosen those belts, and let the
Foodie King take you on a flavorbacked ride through the tastiest

(32:28):
spots in the parks. Take it away, King, Mike.
All right, Mike, we did it in Rose Castle and we gave it a
really bad rating. So just want to let you know
from all of us, I mean, yeah, yeah.
We listen to recording with Jen,like Jen did not like it because
of how how pricey it is. I gave it a really bad rating

(32:50):
too. The final, the final rating, the
for Cinderella, for Cinderella'sroyal table.
Yeah, we gave it. We gave it a 4.2.
OK, that's not a bad rating. It's not a bad rating but a 4.2
bro 4.2. OK.
What was your ratings? That was rating.
That was the total rating. It was a 4.2.
No, no, no, no. I meant your individual.
Rating. I don't remember.

(33:10):
I don't remember but somehow it ended up as a 4.2.
OK, so 4.2. For Cinderella's Royal Table.
Yeah. All right.
So, Mike, you know my question. You've heard your you've heard
from me, from all these episodes.
Mike, where the hell are we going, man?
OK, so this week we're actually going to back to Magic Kingdom,

(33:31):
but this is to go back to Magic Kingdom, but this one is going
to be a different place. We are actually going to the
Diamond Horseshoe. Which is 1 Rider which is one of
the restaurants I want to take. I want to take Jen to because it
is at the Magic Kingdom but kindof pricey.
Not really. I don't know why you think that.
Anything more expensive than McDonald's is pricey to him.

(33:54):
OK, well, well, hey, so so the Diamond Horse is $44.
That's per guest, right? Per guest?
That's per person, right? OK, that's not that bad
actually. Yeah, but it's not anything too
fancy. I'll tell you this right now,
it's very similar to another place that I'm not too favorite.
Favorite on which is which is actually.

(34:17):
I think it was the. IT was the I was.
Going to say it's cheaper than garden grill.
That is, that is cheap for garden grill.
Yeah, because garden girls like 68 a person.
Yeah, 1 LB. Liberty Tree Tavern.
Oh, lemon tree. Yeah, OK.
It's got a very similar so the so here's what it is.
So all you can't enjoy frontier fee.

(34:38):
So the so for this one, the diamond, the Diamond horseshoe,
they have a diamond horseshoe salad, which actually I'm going
to hang on a second. I'm actually going to put this
side by side to compare the menus between the Diamond
Horseshoe and the Liberty Tree Tavern.
OK so yes, the just like the first course is a salad and it's

(35:00):
1 to 1. The same stuff mixed greens,
apples, cranberries and cheese tossed with their housemaid
dressing. They just changed the name of
it. So it's like.
The next one it what's another one that they that they just
changed the name of it. It's the same thing is what they
call it the saloon feast. Saloon Feast, which is roasted
Turkey, pot roast and oven roasted pork with mashed

(35:23):
potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb stuffing and house made
macaroni and cheese. Yeah, Vermy, I know that you
said you thought now before thatVermy was actually talking about
how how he thought we went to this place.
And I know why because it's literally 1 to 1, the same menu
as Liberty Tree Tavern. Yep, that's why that's what I'm.
Saying, well, there's one difference, there's one

(35:44):
difference. What's the difference?
OK, so and that's what the sentence thing, which is still
that I didn't say anything to this is ooey gooey toffee cake.
But the one difference at the Liberty Tree Tavern is this
actually an item that you can, that they sell there, that is
you, you have to pay extra for it.
But it's not it, it's pyrene shrimp.
You get a huge thing of pyrene shrimp, like a huge product.

(36:06):
Wow. Yeah, it's 20. 2 bucks now mind
you it is and serve and they serve it with a zest what they
call their zesty ramenod. I've actually heard people who
actually like that stuff mod you.
You have to pay extra for it. Guess how much it is?
It's $25. I just looked at it.
Yeah, Jen said 25. Dollars I was having you guess,
but yes, it's $25.00, but I'm pretty sure I could pull up a

(36:27):
picture here, Diamond. But they have like does does the
Liberty Tavern have like the Tavern Punch, which is frozen
Dole Whip with lemon and lemon and Sprite?
They have lemon Dole Whip with Sprite.
That sounds good too. It's like extra for that, the
other drinks are not but. Well, how much?
How much? How much are drinks there?
Well, so the drinks, the like the beverages, regular beverages

(36:49):
are included, but the Tavern Punch, which is the Dole Lemon,
Dole Whip with Sprite is 970, 25damn.
And then specialty cocktails range between 13 and $20.
All right, so, Mike, what are you getting?
You're getting a cocktail. You're getting, you're gonna get
a drink with a meal. Or are you gonna get that frozen
Dole Whip drink? So actually they don't even show

(37:10):
the Dole Whip on the menu over at at Liberty Treat tab at the
time in Horseshoe, which yeah, Ithink.
They don't show it as like a. Yeah, I don't think they have it
there. No, they do because I'm looking
at it on the menu. Are you looking at Liberty
Treat? No, I'm looking at Diamond
Shore. Diamond Shoes.
Diamond Shoes saying come on, Mike.

(37:30):
And. Diamond.
It's oh, I took the lunch, that's why.
Yeah. OK.
I don't. Maybe they don't have it for.
Dinner. So yes, yes, they do have that
tappered punch which is 975. So where are you going with?
Are you going? Are you going with the punch?
Are you going with? Now you know.
What I'm going to go with the punch for, I'm going to go with
the punch this. Time.
OK, so it's 975. Got it.
Yeah. But yeah, so it's almost 1 to 1
the same thing. But it besides the peeling ship,

(37:52):
which actually kind of is like asharing and the sharing thing,
you could serve it, have it withmultiple people.
But yeah. Oh also one other thing though
that they also do there is that they just like just like the
dimity tablet. They have a plant based cow poke
platter which is cow poke salad that mixtures with house made

(38:14):
salad and possible meatloaf and Johnny Apple seeds.
Warm apple cake with caramel andwhipped topping.
Oh, that sounds good too. Yeah, both of them are really
good, though I'd rather go with the toffee cake because vanilla
toffee cake, chocolate sauce andvanilla ice cream, Yeah, that
stuff is hard to not go for it. So 44 + 975 plus tax a tip so.

(38:36):
All right, got it. You're ready for.
You're ready for your total. Yeah, $73.
OK, you know, quick question I'mgoing to ask everyone here.
What would you choose for this for the saloon feast?
What would between the three options you have for your main
entree? Which one would you choose?
What were the options again, General?

(38:56):
Menu right, get them all but thethree but the three options that
they give you for the main for the main thing is roasted
Turkey, pot roast and oven roasted pork.
I'm going, I'm going with the pork.
Oven roasted pork. What about you, Jen?
I would probably go for either the Turkey or the pot roast.
All right, and unk. When I went last year, I want to

(39:17):
say the Turkey was the best. I would probably go with the pod
roast. I really like the pod roast
there. I like the part of that Liberty
Tree Tavern. Like like besides the toffee
cake and the lip pop powers werepart of my two favorite things
there at Liberty Tree. And I'm pretty sure Tom and
Horsey was like it's 1 to 1 the same.
So honestly, I would probably get the same stuff because I I

(39:39):
when I went there before, the one time I went there
beforehand, they used to have a ham.
The ham was OK. Oh, they did have the ham there.
Yeah, but the ham was nothing special.
The Turkey was actually more favorable for it there, which is
why they definitely cut that one.
That was the first time I went there back in 2013.
And then when I came back and I went there in 2021, I think it

(40:01):
was, if I remember correctly, whenever, whenever for Asher
Christian came out because I didgo back to a couple of
restaurants to Disney. We did try that one.
And I do remember pot. I do remember I was doing it at
the pot roast there. I just had to publish.
The pot roast is really good, aswas the Mac and cheese.
It's hard to not. It's hard to screw up Mac and
cheese my. That Mac and cheese is so good.

(40:23):
It is. I would just get it.
Just get it again. I mean, it's just delicious.
But the salad, yeah, the salad, I can't write home about it.
It's basic, It's nothing special.
It's oh, it's passable. But it's yeah, like I said, to
do your favorite things I would publish.
Was probably my favorite entree. It was good, but nothing
special. Ooey gooey toffee cake and has

(40:45):
to be back where the cheese are phenomenal.
That's delicious, dude. All right, Mike.
So we're we got the the total. Liberty Tea Tree Tavern.
Oh yeah, we never did that one. So.
We didn't do it. We didn't do it.
Also, I'm pretty sure Remy's wrong on the math.
No, I'm not. 6810 is what I cameup with which says 73 dollars.

(41:06):
Yeah, because I get up players Igave, we're giving them a 25%
tip. Why would you give them a 25%?
You give them a 20%. Oh, that's why I messed.
Up No, we're doing 20 we're. Doing all right.
That's why. That's why I do a. 20% tip and
you do it on the food the cost of the food, not on the taxes.
And then you add the taxes is based on the cost of the food.
Yep. Then you have $68.10.

(41:27):
All right, Mike. So it's 60, it's $68 for the OK.
For, for one for, for. One person at the Diamond
Horseshoe. OK, I'm gonna hear everyone that
I was just reading first at thisrestaurant before me before I do
mine. Well, let's see.
Let's see here. So if Jen and I were gonna go to
the Diamond Horseshoe. Out of five so.
It'll be, it'll be, it'll be $136 for us.

(41:49):
Yeah. That's not bad.
That's 136 bucks. Well, and if this was one of the
ones that actually had the 40%, which I don't think it is, but
wait. Wait, wait.
We're still. We're still looking.
Wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Actually, no, it wouldn't be it.Would be less than that because
it would be 53 * 2. Oh yeah, hold.
On and then, yeah. Hold on.

(42:11):
Yeah, it's. 5375 * 2. 1/01/06. No, hold on, let me do the math
because you're not good at it. While you guys are doing math.
So the reason the the menus are so close is they share a kitchen
between the two restaurants. The Diamond Horseshoe is only a
seasonal restaurant because it'sbasically overflow for when the

(42:34):
parks are super crowded. That's true.
Forgot about I forgot about that.
But hey, the parks, the parks are super if the Magic Kingdom
is super crowded. If you guys just head over to
Casey's corner and then go over to the egg roll the egg roll
cart and get some stuff over there.
I mean, can I could ask you those, those egg rolls over at
Magic Kingdom? Delicious.

(42:54):
All right, Jen, what we for the two of us, what would it be?
I said 106, Jen. I'm still doing the math.
You're still doing the math. Well, I'll give my ranking.
All right, all right, like what's your what's your rank
for? OK, so my horseshoe.
My rankings based off of my triplast year and I would give it a
solid four. It was good.

(43:16):
A solid 4 OK. I want to shout out the drink I
had because I looked it up because I remember that was
really good. I had the cranberry sip.
Yeah, Sipper. It's Tito's and cranberry and
lime juice and a ginger liqueur. It was really good.

(43:36):
It was really good. Yeah.
I don't really base much on price too often because I use
the dining plan so. So the price doesn't shock me as
much. OK.
Yeah, OK. We can't do the dining plan
because we aren't staying. When I was staying at a resort
so can't really we. Found that one out.
Yeah, we did. We're like damn.

(43:58):
Why can't you be like SeaWorld and we could just buy the dining
plan? Exactly.
Alright, so I'll give us a four if Jen and I had the opportunity
to go to this restaurant, which is kind of the same food you can
get you can get at the Garden Grill if it's like the same.
Liberty Tree Tavern. In Liberty Tree Tavern, I mean,
Jen, what was our rating for Garden Grill?

(44:18):
We give it a 5 right or. Well, it's not the same thing,
no. No, it's definitely not the same
food as the Garden Grill. And this one has apples and
cranberries and cheese with their house made dressing for
their their salad. I'm gonna have to give it like a
4-5 because, OK, I don't want totry it, all right?
And also it was like 136 yeah 4.5 it was like 136 and change

(44:41):
for the. For the two of us, the.
Two of us. I'll give it.
I'll give it a four. Mike, how about you?
What do you give it? 4M also gives it a four as well.
OK. And I might even like do it
honestly, I'd be cool with doinglike the cowpoke platter every
once in awhile, like the plant based stuff because you.
Love me. That sounds good.
That sounds good too. I don't have to necessarily eat

(45:04):
like, you know, meat all the time.
All of that looks really good. All right, Mike, are you?
Really like apple. I like apple pie.
Mike, Are you ready for, Are youready?
Are you ready for the for the average rating for the Diamond
Horseshoe? Is it about 4.1?
We give it a 4.1 all right, diamond horseshoe a 4.1 so there
we there we go and guys based onmikes munchies we do we do we do

(45:28):
mikes munchies based on A1 park reservation.
So that was Mikes total and I would just give you guys an idea
on how much it can cost to go toone of these Disney restaurants.
And we'll give you guys, we'll give you guys the the total
average of all of the restaurants on our on our last
episode of the year right right here on Remy's roundtable.

(45:51):
So guys, guys, it's almost time for us to get up on out of here.
Wait. You forgot, but before we go,
before we go, Mike, what restaurant are we going to next
time? Right here on the Roundtable.
So I thought we should definitely go back to a
restaurant that I've done before, but I talked about how
they have different menus. Yay, we're going back to Disney

(46:13):
Springs, aren't we? We're going back to Morimoto
Asia, but this time we're doing sushi.
The thing. Yeah.
We're going back to Disney Springs.
We're going to Morimoto. So there we go.
Thank you, Mike. This time, Yep.
Mike, thank you so much. And guys, it's time for it's
time for us to it's time for us to get up on out of here with a

round table. So sit back, relax.
It's all on the cable. He's got your truth on luck.

(47:30):
Oh, yeah. No long lines, no stress.

(48:18):
He's got your trip on luck. Oh yeah.
No long lines, no stress. Oh yeah, hotels, food rights.
Let's go with. Up.
It's the ultimate. Show he's got your trip on luck
Oh yeah long lines no stress Oh yeah hotels, food rights let's
go with. Up.
It's the ultimate show. So sit back, relax.

(48:40):
It's all on the cable. He's got your trip unlock.
Oh yeah, no long lines, no stress.
Oh yeah. Hotels, food, rides.
Let's go with. It's the ultimate show all.
Right so like I said last week Iam getting ready for my own trip
to Disney and this past week I set up a disability access pass

(49:04):
for my son and the process was very very simple.
So you have to go online and youneed to have know your login for
you're My Disney Experience and you go in and once you're logged
in you just search up Disney or Disney DAS and it's a quick

(49:24):
video call with somebody. So it starts off like it's a
normal Disney help chat and thenthey send you a link for a video
call. And during that video call, so I
was doing it, but they needed tosee my son for about two
minutes. And during that 2 minutes they
take a picture of him. They took a picture of him.
They didn't ask details or anything like that.

(49:47):
They asked kinds of like what accommodations do we do normally
at home to help him with his issues.
And after explaining it, they said yeah, you qualify.
And I we got approved for it. So now in the past that it used
to be you could pre book some rides, but since now they have

(50:09):
the lightning lane multi pass, they do not do that.
So as soon as you get into a park, you can make your first
disability pass. So that's the only big change
from this year from last year tothis year in that process.
So if you think you would possibly qualify, I would say
the process took maybe 15 minutes.

(50:31):
I did it earlier in the morning. You might have a longer wait if
you wait till the afternoon. But overall, if you think you're
possibly would qualify, check. There's no harm in checking.
Do it. You can do it up to 30 days
before your trip. So if you get stuck on hold,
like waiting in the chat for a while, leave and do it another

(50:54):
day. Try to do it earlier in the
morning. So that's my little tip on that,
but there's no harm in asking. If you think you could possibly
qualify, ask. So that's my update on that.
And then what I plan to do next week is I will give you guys
kind of rundown of my trip and which places I'm going to be

(51:19):
dining at and which parks I'm going to and my excitement for
finally getting to cost another holiday at Disney off and I'll
be at Disney World for the 4th of July, the see the 4th of July
fireworks. So I'm excited for that.
I will share with you this, I amstaying at the French Quarter,
Port Orleans French Quarter and I'm so excited because I get to

(51:42):
see Bob, Yeehaw Bob perform again and I haven't and seen him
in about 10 years perform and I love seeing Yeehaw Bob.
Great, great, great piano player.
I mean, he's. Great show.
His show is so interactive. It doesn't matter if you're old
or young. He gets kids involved, he gets

(52:03):
adults involved. It's a great atmosphere for
everybody, so don't be afraid ifyou're staying at Port Orleans
or if you're close to Port Orleans and you want to catch
one of his shows, I highly recommend it.
Yeah, he's a, he's a legend throughout Disney and he's a,
he's a legend piano player here in Florida.
So great, great guy. And yeah, his music is just

(52:27):
unreal. So yes, guys, before we go,
