We’re kicking things off with a little **“Teacher Talk with Jen & Unk”** — a surprisingly wholesome and educational convo about what Unk can do with his kids over the summer (spoiler: it doesn’t involve theme parks… yet).

Then it’s time for your **latest theme park updates** with Remy & Jen, and oh boy — the big headline? **Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure might be joining the Express Pass lineup** at Universal! Is the wait finally over, or is the magic just beginning?

Also, can we discuss those **Epic Universe Medallions** selling for **$1,000 on eBay?! ** Yeah… we said it. That’s messed up. Seriously, stop reselling the magic, y’all.

And what’s this? 🍽️ **Mike’s Munchies is back**, and Mike’s taking us to **Cinderella’s Royal Table** inside the castle at Magic Kingdom! Hope you’re hungry — and have deep pockets — because Remy and Jen would be shelling out close to $200** for that magical meal.

Finally, Unk wraps up the show with a **quick travel guide update** to help you plan your next adventure like a pro.

So buckle up, grab a churro, and enjoy this fun-filled, info-packed, slightly salty episode of **Remy’s Roundtable – The Florida Theme Park Podcast!** 🎙️✨

Good evening everybody and welcome.
My name is Remy. And with me, as always is my
dangerous Co host, my partner incrime, my lovely wife, Jen.
Hi honey, how you doing? I am fabulous.
We also have our travel guide with us.

(04:55):
We have UNK with us. UNK.
What's up dude? How you doing man?
Well, doing well. Thank you for having me back
again. Likewise, dude, likewise.
So how's everybody's week going?How's everybody's we've gone the
week have been so far. I mean, Jen, you're, you're very
much done with school. You're done.
Wednesday was the last day of school that the kids were there.
I had to finish packing up my classroom.

(05:17):
I'm not moving classes so I can leave most of what I had on the
walls. I just had to reorganize and
make sure I didn't have any clutter.
And so that meant me throwing away half of the that I had in
my closet. You got a lot of stuff.
I have I have so much I haven't done like a good, really good
decluttering of my closet officethings.

(05:39):
Not just my stuff, but the person who left all of their
crap in my in my closet before Imoved into my room in six or so
years. So I needed to do that.
I'm sorry. How many years?
Well, so I brought stuff with mefrom my old school.
That was my stuff, right, that Ihad accumulated over the two

(05:59):
years that I was there. And then I've been at this one
for four years and I moved into a room that already had stuff in
their in the closet. She she retired, so she left all
of her teaching supplies and things that she didn't want,
like books and things like that in the closet and games and
things in the. Closet, OH.
OK, I didn't really throw out a whole lot of her stuff.

(06:21):
I used some of it. And then I got to a point where
I wasn't using anything or therewere things that I wasn't using
or there were things I didn't know where it was.
So when I cleaned up my room andI this week or so, I literally
went through all of my bins in my closet and, and everything
and threw out like half of the crap that I had, which is a good

(06:43):
cathartic allegedly thing to do.I felt really weird because I
like to hold on to things and I have a really difficult time
letting go of. Stuff.
Stuff and I learned that from mymom, I think because my mom grew
up very poor and so having things for her is very important

(07:04):
because she didn't when she was growing up.
So I think that was something that was instilled in me.
I try not to hold on to too manythings and I try when I'm in the
mood to do it. And I feel embarrassed by how
cluttered everything is. I tend to be vicious with
throwing things away, which I really was, which is why, like I
say, half of the crap that I hadwent in the trash or went to

(07:26):
somebody who wanted it. That was a lot to say.
That was a lot to say. I mean, we got a lot.
More and then today I had I wentto I went to dinner with
colleagues at work or from work had sloppy Taco.
STP. Yeah, we had.
We went to Sloppy Taco Palace. So you were you do send us a
text through discord and also tous in the in our chat as well.

(07:49):
You're, you're asking us, you know, stuff to do over the
summer. Like where, where'd you have a
dude? Like what did you, what did you
want to do over the summer? So I have two little ones.
So my youngest is in preschool, my oldest is he'll be, he just
finished his last day of kindergarten today.
So I'm just looking for extra things because they've had such

(08:12):
growth this year in school. I don't want to lose all of that
over the summer. And I know that happens because
I'm a teacher too. So I but I teach older kids, so
I don't know what to do to help push them over the summer.
OK, so. I'm in.
I'm a kindergarten teacher and Ican tell you what to do.

(08:32):
So knowing that that's what you want, that you needed and
everything, I would suggest thatyou do some things like
workbooks that are for first grade prep.
Can go to the Science Center if you guys have any.
You have something like a Science Center or a zoo or
something like that. Definitely have that.
Do that stuff for fun and everything like that.

(08:54):
Art. Art museums.
OK, I'm talking, sorry. Thank you.
Those would be kind of cool, butI think they're a little young
for an art Art Museum unless they have like a child children
section. I would suggest if you're
working, if you want to make sure that they're academics,
don't fall that you work with them like read to them every
night. Obviously have your

(09:15):
kindergartner read to you in a book that's appropriate for his
reading level enjoyment reading level.
So like a level probably like a level D if you.
Know what you're talking about. I do know what you're talking
about but the problem is with mymy oldest.
He is non verbal autistic so. Oh yeah, that's right.
I forgot about that. So with him to it.

(09:37):
OK, so with him Plato. Work with him on Plato doing
Plato letters, things like that. That might be beneficial for
him, you know, with math manipulatives, working with him
on shapes and things like that, you know, just for short periods
of time, obviously, because I know that his attention span is
probably not the best as a as a 5 year old, 6 year old, right.

(09:57):
But also, you know. Just turned 7.
Oh wow, yeah so he just turned 7, still way too young to have a
very long attention span. And then with the caveat that he
is autistic and nonverbal, thoseare also things to work with him
on. And I don't know if they've
worked with you on possibly likehelping him out with like some
form of communication language. I don't know if you have

(10:19):
anything that he a way for him to.
We have a yeah, we have a iPad that we have a program on that
he is learning how to use to communicate things with us.
He might also want to like help him with like sign language too,
because I know yes, he's not, you know, he's not deaf
obviously, but sign language canbe something that he could use

(10:41):
too to teach sort of like as another access for him to, you
know, do that just besides the technology and everything,
although technology is amazing. He might, you know, iPads go
dead. So something that that might be
good for you to like work with him on and there are different
apps and things like that that could help you or, or classes
you might be able to take to learn that and do all the fun

(11:04):
stuff. Obviously enjoy your time with
him because you know, this is the time that you get to have
with your kiddo being a full time, you know, teacher and what
have you. It's, it's hard to get that time
with your kids and your family. I know even though I don't have
children, it's hard for me to have time with my husband.
Because of my is because of my schedule.
Well, no, not just because of your schedule, because of my

(11:25):
weird work life that I usually have.
And then with your pre-K kid, work with him on the same stuff.
Work with him on, you know, makemake learning fun.
Do shaving cream alphabet. Do you know, like when you put
shaving cream on a table and have him yeah, write the
alphabet, use his fingers to write the alphabet or, you know,

(11:45):
do play DoH or, you know, have him work with shapes and
manipulatives and things like that.
If you can find anything like that, workbooks also are really
good. But if you want like especially
at that age and that, you know, group you want to work with,
have them work with their with kinesthetic learning because,

(12:08):
you know, songs are awesome songs.
I love songs. I love, you know, having them
listen to Jack Hartman and Doctor Jean and and all those
other, you know, Mr. Mr. B or Doctor B and, and all of those
people that, you know, created the music and, and our educators
as well. And, and what have you to learn

(12:28):
your letters and learn your sounds, learn how to blend,
learn how to do your sight words, things like that and math
and you know, and counting and what have you.
But it's also like with kids, they need all of it.
Like with little ones, you want them to be able to use all of
their brain, like all of the things that they can use, like

(12:48):
body movement and, and, and you know, not just music and
auditory. You want them to use all, all of
the types of learning because they haven't learned, they
haven't figured out yet, or their brain hasn't figured out
the best way for them to learn, you know?
Yeah, yeah. So yes, those are things that I
would, I would suggest you do with them over the summer and,

(13:11):
and work with them on and just have great experiences with
them. Because I found even with myself
as an adult, that the most, the best way for me to remember a
lot of things and to understand a lot of things as experience
and having special experiences and, you know, enjoy that time
that you have with them. Oh yeah.
That is, that is your minute of kindergarten teacher talk.

(13:36):
That was a long talk. Good.
I mean very, very educational onthe round table I mean.
I'm Yikes. Look, I have been a I've been a
teacher for, well, years. Technically, I have had my
certificate for Golly. I've had, I think I've renewed

(13:57):
twice. So I've had it for at least 10
years. I've been teaching consistently
the last 6 going into seven years with Orange County, so or
with my county. So yeah.
And then kindergarten for the last five and I've.
For the last five years. Wow.
Yeah, and primary has been like my, my go to for the last six

(14:20):
years that I've that I've been teaching and, and what have you.
But yeah, that's, that's, that'swhat I would do.
I would work with him on that, obviously, like, you know, just
make it fun. Make it fun for them because
they're at the age where they don't have the, they don't have
the ability to sort of sit thereand focus and, and do what you
would have to do when you're older.

(14:40):
You know, I was going to say, you know, like I was going to
say, since you guys are like nothere in Florida, if you guys
were here, you guys could have gone to like Gator land, You
guys could have gone to leg Legoland floor Legoland here in
Florida, we science. Center Orlando Science Center
has a summer camp that they do for kids and they have a pre-K
preschool camp too. Yeah.

(15:02):
And there's a lot, there's a lotof fun things to do here, like
over the summer, like right now,if you know, right now, I would
be at the, the beach house, the beach cabin with my parents and
Jen and the rest of our family members over on the, the West
Coast. I'm sorry, over by the Gulf.
And that's where we would like do like camp outs and everything
like that, But it's rough and wecan't really go over there right

(15:23):
now to do this freaking weather. And plus it's a little bit
expensive to rent a beach cabin where we used to go almost every
single summer. So, and that's where that's
where like I would play poker every single night and take
everybody's money. So I'm like, Hey, you guys
shouldn't play poker against me,sorry.
But anyway, guys, let's go aheadand jump right into it.

(15:44):
We have lots of theme park news,so let's go ahead.
Let's go ahead and do it. It's time.
It is now time for the latest theme park updates.
It's now time for the latest theme park updates brought to
you by the Magic Candle Company.Head on over to
magiccandlecompany.com and grab a candle for your home or for

(16:04):
your office and use the Code Roundtable 19 at checkout for
your discount. Take it.
Away. All right, so we are starting
out over at Disney. That's right, we got some Disney
news starting out at the Magic Kingdom Disney Starlight
nighttime parade debuts on July 20th.
A brand new nighttime parade Disney Starlight Dream the Night

(16:27):
Away will premiere will premiereonce again at the Magic Kingdom,
Magic Kingdom on July 20th. And I think that's one of the
nighttime parades that Jen and Iwould have to go see at the
Magic Kingdom. So one of our good, one of my
good your friends Mike, he does,he does some of the music for
for most of the theme parks herein Florida.
And this is one of his arrangements for this nighttime

(16:50):
show. So hopefully Jen and I will be
able to go check it out at the Magic Kingdom.
Also, we have more news over at the Magic Kingdom Astro Orbiter.
That's right. The iconic spinning planets have
returned to Astro Orbiter in Tomorrowland, restoring its
classic look over at cool ship, which is the the the what's it

(17:10):
called the refreshment stand. This the iconic I'm sorry.
The cool ship refreshment stand in Tomorrowland has been
completely dismantled with no replacement announced yet.
New picnic tables have been added outside the big top
souvenirs area in Storybook Circus for additional guest
seating. There's the Haunted Mansion is

(17:33):
the new cobblestones. That's right, they put new
stones themed over by the entrance area of the Haunted
Mansion. And lastly, we got some cool
Magic Kim news and that is is for all the annual pass holders
like myself and Jen from June 15th through July 31st.
All right, so annual pass holders can enjoy an exclusive

(17:53):
villain theme photo op from 3:00PM to 9:00 PM daily at the Magic
Kingdom. And you guys be able to pick up
your very own Maleficent magnet at the Creation Shop in Epcot
through July 31st. Speak about Epcot, Jen, where we
got news on Epcot. Well, a new test track sign was
installed. The new design for the test

(18:14):
track is being implemented with a freshly installed sign as part
of the attraction reimagining. There are smart trash cans that
they're piloting out for in expanding their pilot.
The solar powered smart trash can pilot continues to expand
throughout Epcot ahead of a potential park wide roll out.
I'm gonna pause you there real quick.

(18:35):
Smart, smart trash cans. Yes.
OK, I want to think about this real quick.
Yes, it is a smart trash can. Will this trash can actually
talk to the guests and say please put trash here?
I mean, it's a smart trash can, so maybe.
OK, so according to this they started this a while ago.
It is actually really cool looking.

(18:56):
I haven't seen these at Epcot though, but I probably wouldn't
have thought that that's what this was.
So basically it is. It's made by Big Belly, a
company that has thousands of compacting solar powered trash
cans and public spaces in largercities.
According to Big Belly, the trash can is super efficient,
compacting trash five times. OK, so basically the.

(19:19):
It's a compost too. No, no, no.
They compact the trash inside the trash can.
Oh, and it runs off of solar power.
It's also smart able to send notifications to a hub to let
custodians know that it's. Full.
That's pretty cool. Yeah, instead of having people
walk around all over the place all the time, you can figure out
that it's full and you won't have to be out in the heat all

(19:39):
the time. That's really solid.
Pretty pretty much be awesome. While the compactor feature is
good for Disney, guests will love the hands free nature of
the trash can. A foot pedal on the bottom of
the of the can easily opens the mouth, removing the need to pull
a handle or push a flap. It's particularly useful as one
at one of Epcot's numerous food festivals when hands can be full

(20:00):
of empty plates. I agree with that actually.
Going back to the compactor functionality, it's a 2 for one
for Disney. Not to only will each trash can
be able to hold more, but the small.
Feature means the custodial castmembers will have a better sense
of which cans are full and need to be attended to.
And then instead of walking around and check, like I just

(20:20):
said, how full the trash cans are, they can have a more
targeted approach to keeping thetheme parks clean.
That is cool. That is actually from
blogmickey.com from a December post.
And let's go ahead and go on to something about the dining part
for annual pass holders. Annual pass holders receive a
40% off dining at select restaurants, part of Disney's

(20:43):
summer AP Perks program. That means we need to go back to
Disney and use that and use that40% off dining experience which.
You got to send me money so I can pay for our our pass?
Then don't. Know what I'm going to get paid
against, so that's going to be aproblem.
So we got for, we got. Hopefully that's next week
because that's your payday. I know hopefully we'll be able

(21:04):
to go back to Disney. So moving forward, we are
heading over to Disney's Hollywood Studios Villains
unfairly ever after and The Little Mermaid shows debut.
Yes, they've they're out there. So you guys be able to go see
the shows. Both, both of the shows are now
18 minutes long. I mean, there was an article
saying it was 40 minutes for thevillain show.
No, it's 18 minutes. All right, that's both for

(21:27):
Villains unfairly Ever after andThe Little Mermaid and Musical
Adventure will now have 18 minutes showtimes.
So there you go, a new Dizzy Villain merchandise, which a new
merch theme to the Unfairly EverAfter show is available
exclusively at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Disney plans to replace long unused facilities including

(21:48):
Studio One company store Sunset Showcase theater.
Star Wars Star Wars launch Bay new experiences are in
development. It's about time I know what our
good friend Dane from Big Beautiful days.
It's about time they're getting rid of a Star Wars launch launch
Bay. So that's where some of the
characters are where you can go meet and greet your favorite
Star Wars characters. And you know what, he's right.

(22:10):
That building should not even should not even be there because
that is where pretty much the animation studio was.
It was right there and then it changed it into Star Wars launch
Bay. You, you, you should go see
your, your favorite Star Wars, you know, characters at you know
what you call it at bat 2 over at Star Wars Galaxies edge,
because it's right there. And that's where you can go meet

(22:31):
them. And also this long shuttered
shop has reopened with refreshedtheming and a new selection of
character focus merchandise. I'm talking about the in
character shop that has reopenedMuppet Vision 3D and Pizza Rizzo
is going to close is going to close on June 7th.
That's right. Both experiences will close to

(22:52):
make way for a for make to make way for Monsters Inc theme
attractions area according to internal plans.
And let's go on over to Disney'sAnimal Kingdom, to the Animal
Kingdom Lodge. Baby Flamingo chicks have joined
the flamboyance on display at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and
Lodge Savannah. I love how they call that a

(23:15):
flamboyance, by the way, becausethat's what it actually.
Is that's what it's called, right?
They call that flamboyance. A group of flamingos is called
Flamboyance. We got some we got some resort
updates Disney resort updates and that is over at the Beach
Club Resort. Their exterior refurbishment A4
will be will have a four month exterior refurbishment is

(23:38):
underway starting in early June. The Porte cochere will be closed
but guest service, valet luggagebuses will remain operational.
Whispering Canyon Cafe reopens at Wilderness Lodge After a
short closure Whispering Canyon Cafe is now open with with fresh
interiors and full menu services.
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto gets a new tiki mug That's right, a 5th

(24:03):
edition of hip hip hop Hip Hop auto Mia Mai Tai mug has been.
Hippopotami Tai. Hippopotami, Hippopotami Tai.
You know what, Jen? Say it again for me because I
can't say. Hippopotami Tai.
Mug has been released now available exclusively
exclusively at Trader Sam's as aPolynesian resort.

(24:25):
And some other Disney updates. Disney's fantasy has set sail
for its first season in Europe, offering new itineraries into
Mediterranean ports. Walt Disney World Cast members
in custodial roles are receivingnew uniforms featuring updated
fabrics and colors. Hopefully cooling fabrics and

(24:45):
colors. Several workers with temporary
protected status from Venezuela were placed on leave due to
federal protections expiring. That's not good.
That is not good because ICE loves people like that.
That's not good at all. Damn damn damn damn.
Over over at Universal ET Adventure, we close for schedule

(25:06):
maintenance from June 9th to June 13th.
So a couple days of refurbishment.
Not bad. The Hogwarts Express is
currently closed for for refurbishment.
Reopening schedule is for Saturday, May 31st.
They say that, but let's just say June, the 1st week of June,
that's when it'll reopen. So May 31st is to Saturday,

(25:29):
Yeah. When did they go in?
When did they start close it? Last month.
That's not good. Anyway, go ahead.
Yeah, OK, so on location, gift shop rebrands to Universal
Suites. That's right.
A new name and not an identity for the beloved gift shop.
It's it's now called Universal Suites, focusing on candies and

(25:53):
desserts. Yep.
And we got some cool news about Hagrid's Magical Creatures
motorbike adventure. We'll be joining the Express
Pass. That's right.
Universal Express Pass access isbeing added to this popular
ride, one of the last major holdouts.
That's right. So Congrats to the Hagrid's
Moore Bike Adventure crew members.

(26:14):
You guys are now part of the Universal Express.
Yay, now on to Epic Universe. On opening day, this high demand
attraction peaked at a 5 hour wait time.
Showing. Massive popularity, and that
would be Harry Potter in the Battle of the Ministry.
I will not wait five hours, so that's a big hell no no.

(26:36):
New there is a new pre show props attitude Monsters
Unchained. They were added to enhance the
Monsters Unchained pre show experience.
Guests can now purchase a special photo folder and limited
edition lithograph featuring Isle of Berk and exclusive
exclusive exclusive Epic Universe Media medallions given

(26:57):
to the press. Attendees are being resold on
eBay. The prices on the the price of
the on eBay for these Epic Universe Media Medallion similar
the researchers sold them for one between 1000 to $5000.
That's what I'm saying. I'm saying few to those
resellers. They aren't getting they aren't
going to have to pay tariffs. For it so not but so I'm just
saying yeah, anyway, moving forward, moving forward, we got

(27:21):
some SeaWorld news bands brew and BBQ returns on July 5th
through August 24th for SeaWorldsummer concert and food festival
will run from July 5th through August 24th, like I said, and
bands lineup will be to to be announced.
So they'll announce those very soon, probably the next couple
of weeks. And you guys will hear them

(27:42):
right here on Remy's roundtable. And also a new blueprint has
been unveiled for the potential use of 400 acres possible future
developments including hotels, residential housing and
lifestyle destinations. So yeah, 00 plans, a 400 acre
expansion blueprint. So there you go.
All right, some Orlando area development, Waymo, Alphabets

(28:07):
autonomous. That is a hard thing to say.
Driving Division is expanding toOrlando in 2025 as part of its
US Road Trip initiative. And if you don't know what
Alphabet the company Alphabet is, that's Google.
It is Google. It's Google.
So Google's basically expanding their driving division to
Orlando. Yay, yay.

(28:28):
And that will do and that will do it.

And believe it or not, guys, we do have a very, very, you know
what? I'm going to say it once again
guys, we do have a mic munchies this evening, so let's go ahead

(28:50):
and do it guys. It is now time for Mikes
Munchies. All right, you hungry ass sons
of bitches, it's now time for mikes.
Munchies, munchies, grab your forks.
Loosen those belts and let the Booty King take you on a flavor
backed ride through the tastiestspots in the parks.
Take it away, King, Mike. Hey everyone, it is I King Mike

(29:12):
X here. And once again welcome back to
another segment of Mike's munchies on Remy's roundtable.
Sorry for once again not being here, but unfortunately, Remy's
sketch this week, he had to change his change the episode
date to a day where I actually couldn't work either where I was
working there tonight. So anyway, without further ado,
we're going to be doing today's episode, which is on

(29:35):
Cinderella's royal table. Now this and actually is
possibly the one of the more expensive restaurants in any of
the parks. Not the most expensive.
Still can't beat Monsieur Paul or if you're cutting outside the
restaurant still is not as sort of has Victorian up Victorian
outreach with. So yeah, moving it.

(29:55):
But I'll tell you this one for dinner, which is what we're
going to be doing this on. It is $88 per tote for their
prefix, while children which areages 3 to 9 are 52.
And anyway, moving along, let's talk about the first, which is
the appetizers of the court. So you had the soup of the day,

(30:15):
which changes every versus different fruit stays so you
could guess so you can. But the three other ones that
are permanent current are the casserole salad, which is a
first fruit, blue cheese, candied pecan recycling
vinaigrette. The second one is crisp is
children, let's say that chilledjumbo shrimp with an avocado

(30:35):
mousse, Fresno Peppers, the tomato horsch reddish and the
last one, which is kind of one of the ones I would choose you
by that or the casserole salad or depending on what any of them
are actually though I'd probablywith salad at the night.
This one is the crispy pork belly sweet tea glazed pork air
them tomatoes, a pickled tomatillo cabbage now.
So yeah, crispy pork bar is probably might go to so good.

(30:57):
Now the entrees Royale. There are a few of them and so
there's five of them in total. First is the catch of the day
which should be any fish and whatever they get and is Karen
comes with Carolina gold rice, shrimp, sweet corn, succotash
and roasted red pepper sauce forThen they have chicken lad which
is commissioning for gola pasta, pancetta, carrot puree and white

(31:22):
wine bust white wine, black truffle butter.
As for the for vegetarians or actually actually I would just
say vegan, you have a pan roasted cauliflower with a
quinoa salad. And then the two big heavy
hitters, which are probably 1 isthe grilled filet mint with
olive oil, whipped potatoes, roasted seasonal vegetables and

(31:43):
garlic butter. Basic, but it's filet mignon.
You know it's going to be so youknow how it's.
And the last one, which is my personal favorite, roasted lamb
chops because well, I am Jewish and I love my lamb with a potato
parvet, which you don't know what a potato parve is.
Well, Potato parve is kind of like those little is few others

(32:05):
and those that are square looking, they're kind of like
they they did little where and usually put top it off with like
like fresh or or chives or some. But yeah, it's generally like
they also get soaked and have like butter and they're
generally layered as well. I'm talking that it's a really
good thing, but it also goes with asparagus and a honey

(32:28):
personic. So yeah, that's my personal
favorite. And that's the catch of the day
is something that so either the liver chops, the filet mignon or
actually the catch of the days because the fish could be
anything. And now we have the finale.
Yeah, yeah, Apertures of the quarter, Ontreal.
And now we have the finales. So first is the Jacques and Gus

(32:49):
cheesecake with vanilla cheesecake, which is vanilla
cheesecake with fresh fruit garnish.
The next one is the Floating Island, which is strawberry
meringue with tropical food, tropical food and the my
personal favorite, you know me, I've talked about it for I'm a
chocoholic. It's called the Clock Strikes 12
and it's a chocolate ganache tart topped with salted caramel

(33:11):
coffee mousse. Sorry, but that's taken with it.
So yeah. So my final menu would be crispy
pork belly roasted and chops andthe Clock Strikes.
As for other stuff. Now if you're going for kid,
they have a little bit of a different stuff.
They have bite sized cheddar cheese grapes, the garden sour
with fun free range dressing andsized apples that kids create

(33:34):
your own entrees. You eat that good steaks here
first of the day chicken strips of macaroni cheese and the
though the create your own dessert is actually the other
Jacques and Gus cheesecake as but the US office are sorbet and
the sword and the sweet, which is a white chocolate sword and a
chocolate and marshmallow moose stone atop KOA soil, which is

(33:56):
definitely a little bit of a different thing because that's
sort of the Stoner in a white. That should be more I feel it
should have kept the cock strikes 12.
That's because this is themed upto Cinderella and King Arthur
isn't in there noysters anyway. Oh, but to also talk about it.
I forgot to say this. They do have cocktails there and
fights and other stuff. But the reason why I'm saving

(34:19):
this one for that is because some of these are really good to
talk about, such as they have celebration, champagne, fight,
fight. Usually the agenti champagne,
which is a point of Chardonnay Pinot noir, Pinot Marie and it's
exclusively sort of the water world resort Cinemas will be
presenting cinemas will be presented as three ways to our

(34:40):
guests. That's one of the reasons why
I'm going to talk about. They are whole experience.
Bella the ball flight, by the way, which is yeah, Belle glows
dairy man Vineya noir, Russian River Valley.
Yeah, the bell goes Clark a telephone Vineya Pinoya Noir
said to Maria Valley and Bella Glas Las touras Vineya noir
sentin. And then there's the stop Sister

(35:02):
Flight, McBride's sister Blanc, which is from Marlboro, New
Zealand. McBride says Chardonnay, which
is for Central Coast. McBride says Sparkling Boot rose
from Hawks Bay, New Zealand. And for cocktails, they have
legacy mimosas. Legacy mimosa in 19, which is
which is Uncle nearest eats in the four small bits Tennessee
whiskey and My Nie, the Curse, Chateau Saint Michelle,

(35:25):
sparkling wine and Minute Maid orange and a Papa orange, which
is Kettle one botanical Peach and orange.
Boston vodka, Rockies botanical liquor.
Kim Crawford BlackBerry. So if I had to choose one, I
would choose the I would honestly go with the set up a
fight. It's $25, which is very
expensive. But if I'm being honest, I mean,
it's exclusive to to watch Disney World Resort and people

(35:47):
have talked about this sampler fight.
It's really good, but like it a lot.
And also the president Cinderella because I think
anyway, guys, that's it for thissegment.
If I had to give a rating for cinemas.
Royal Temple. Yeah, I'm also going to kind of
get this one. A5 star kid just won five stars
because this is like this is oneof the big fancy restaurants.

(36:08):
This was literally voted as thiswas voted by the people, by
majority of the people who are members of the Disney flu blog.
Where they voted is to say that Cinderella's where a table is
the best restaurant in Magic Kingdom, even though it's super
pricey. But yeah, definitely try this
out. I'll see you guys on the next
episode, which we have to wait till next one to hear what it

(36:30):
is. Anyway, see ya.
Now that was an amazing meal. Which restaurant should we head
to next? You can send in your suggestions
at remysroundtable@gmail.com. We'll be right back with more of
Remy's Roundtable, the Florida Theme Park Podcast.
Thank you, Mike. Thank you so much for Mike's
munchies. And you know what, I've never

(36:50):
been to Santa Rose Castle, the restaurant that's actually
inside there, which Mike just told us about.
You know what he gives it A5. You know, if it's going to be,
if it's going to be that expensive for it's $80.00 per
person, Yeah, No, if Jen and I were going to go to that
restaurant, Jen, do you want to try to take a guess how much our
total will be? About $170.

(37:11):
Keep going well if. It's $80 a person.
It would be about $170. Yep.
So what's the tip? How much do you think we'll be
all together? Depending on how we tip, it
would probably be closer to See 20.
I'm not doing 20% shut up. That's because you never pay
anyway so I do 100 and or no 200and 10205. $215.

(37:34):
Yeah, something like that. But it's also a character dining
experience too, which Mike left out because that is a it's a
character dining experience. Well, it's Cinderella's castle.
You expect it to be a character dining experience dude.
Have you have you been to that restaurant on Disney property?
Yes, I have. I've come for breakfast before.
It's really cool. It was a good breakfast.

(37:55):
When I come I'm usually on the dining plan so the price doesn't
scare me much because it is repaid, but it does count as two
dining credits to go there. It's one of the few signature
dining restaurants they still require 2 dining credits for but
I I would go back again. I like it for breakfast because

(38:19):
you can get into the park beforepeople because they start
breakfast early. You think Jen and I should go to
this restaurant just one time tocheck it out?
I mean, Cinderella is one of my favorite things.
I know she is. She's one of your favorite
characters. I know she's one of your
favorite Disney Princess. Feel like I think breakfast is
cheaper so that might be your way to experience.
Get the experience there. OK.

(38:41):
The characters are still there. It was a good breakfast, I
remember that much. This was like 7 years ago that I
went there so and the atmosphereis really cool.
I'm giving if you get seated close to the windows you can see
out down Main Street, which is kind of cool seeing the people
walking. That's cool.
That's a cool experience to check out.

(39:01):
I, I, you know, if we do go, Jen, I know Mike gives it A5.
I'm going to give it, you know, I've just for, just, for, just
for the sake of it, I'm going togive it a four.
So with Mike's 5 plus my 4, Jen,if you if you and I just went
there, what type of rating wouldyou give it?
I don't know. I can't give it a rating.
I've never been there. OK, what do you give it?

(39:24):
Let me give it a four. Give it a four as well.
All right, So Mike, if you're listening to it, we give, we
give Cinderella a 4.3 for her, for her restaurant.
So there you go, before we before we leave UNK, do you have
any travel updates for us? The biggest thing I've seen

(39:44):
recently is some details come out about the cool kids summer
come out, the things they're doing around the different parks
this summer for kids at Disney World.
And I saw there's, I think it's four different, like DJ parties
going on throughout the different parks.
There's two at Magic Kingdom, one in Tomorrowland based on

(40:07):
Stitch. Another one at the big top area
and I think that one is going, Ithink if I'm remembering
correctly, is going to be, no, that's not goofy.
Goofy's at Epcot. So Connection Hall is becoming a
Goofy area. And then at Hollywood Studios,

(40:28):
they have updated the Playhouse Disney or Disney Junior area and
that's where a lot of the Fab 5 characters are going to be able
to be found. And there'll be a dance party
there as well. And that's what I think they
need to do with the launch Bay Area is make that for characters

(40:50):
because that's what kids want. You got the the kids show right
there. Make it a bigger area for more
character meeting breaks. I feel like that's something
that kids want and there's not alot of characters anymore
meeting and greeting. There really is.
I mean, I mean, most of there are Fab 5 characters are meeting

(41:11):
outside of Mickey's Runaway Railway and you know, just on
the corner by the entrance of the main, the main entrance of
Disney's Hollywood Studios. So if they got rid of launch
Bay, which it's going to happen, they will move all the Star Wars
characters or by Star Wars guy'sedge or, or, or by Star Tours
area. And I, I think you're right,

(41:34):
man. I think they should just, you
know, put all of the, you know, the kids characters just right
there, right by that area. Just get rid of the Star Wars
launch, launch Star Wars launch Bay.
So I like, I like that idea. Jen, what do you, what do you
think? Is that a good idea?
No, I don't know, probably. The problem probably.

(41:54):
I zoned out. Sorry, what?
Did you did zone? So what we're saying was you
think they should get rid of theget rid of all the Star Wars
characters, put them or by Star Wars Galaxies edge, move some of
your favorite Disney Fab 5 characters where Star Wars
launch Bay is. Put them.
Put those characters in there and also some of the Disney

(42:15):
Junior characters as well insideof that little, little area.
Yeah, 'cause the only thing really that they have over that,
I mean, there are a couple of things that they have that would
be really good. Like where's Launch Bay?
I don't remember. Launch Bay is Rabbi Disney
Junior and Rabbi the The Little Mermaid Show.
OK, and Little Mermaids is? Right then the back, The back

(42:36):
corner, high corner, right. Yep.
Hollywood Studios. OK, so yeah, I mean, it would be
pretty cool if like they had some of like the Disney Junior
characters. So you guys don't have kids, but
I and I do and I've got ones that are really obsessed with
some of these shows. And I know they're doing some
testing, some trial stuff with some of the Australian cruises

(42:58):
with Bluey. But if you get Bluey into a
park, it's going to go crazy because not only are are kids
obsessed with bluey. Oh I know there's the adults are
too obsessed with. Oh my gosh.
I've watched some of Bluey's episodes because like I said, I
have kindergarteners. I've watched some of the Bluey
episodes and they are so awesome.
Jen, you watch. Bluey I've watched Bluey it's

(43:19):
kind of calming and cool to watch.
Bluey. The music of Bluey is very
calming and the stories are actually like good stories.
Seriously. Because like before that all
they really had was like Caillouand Coco Melon.
And Coco Melon sucks and Caillouis just basically a spoiled brat

(43:41):
of a child who like talks poorlyto their parents and, and
everything. And it's just like, there are a
lot of people who don't really like that.
Hey, guys. OK, Yeah, it's kind of, Yeah,

(44:08):
it's kind of catchy. Yeah, it's really, really cool.
I'm looking at like I haven't. Looked at like Bob Bob Bob
bobber. But I do know.
So some of the other some of theother shows, and I know this one
would be, I don't know if they could actually do it, but if
they could because it's their show, Spider Man and his amazing

(44:28):
friends. They can't.
Do it. They can't.
They can't because of the, because of the Mississippi law,
because they can't really put, you know.
Because of universal. Because of Universal.
Because Universal has Marvel superhero Marvel Island, so they
can't really put Spider Man inside of that Disney theme
park. But that show is amazing.
They can do it in California. Yeah, they have a Star Wars

(44:51):
there's. Some good.
There's some good shows. I'm happy to see that they've
are updating the Disney Junior show.
I saw that they've updated that a little bit, which is very well
needed because they had shows onthere that haven't been on TV in
a while. I know what Disney Plus you can
still watch them, but it was also I felt like heavily on the

(45:16):
shows geared towards girls and boys and I have boys there.
There was Mickey, but. I.
Guess Tamone for the for the Lion Guard.
But it was, it was they, my kidsweren't into the Lion Guard.
It wasn't as big when they as they've been watching.
So it needed updated. Well, in Lion Guard, the The

(45:37):
Lion King stuff is kind of old and everything.
Sofia the First. Oh, that's a girly type of
thing, though. But there's like Star Wars stuff
that they could do over there. Yeah.
And like Young Jedi Adventures or.
The Young Jedi is really cool. I've I've watched some of that
in. Pubstruction.
With my boys. They have like a pubstruction

(45:58):
and puppy dog pals and. If they bought Puppy Dog Pals I
would never get my kids out of that.
My kids are. Obsessed.
With puppy dog pals look. It's like, OK, we're going to
find them a puppy dog pow toy atDisney and they have nothing.
They could do Doc Mcstuffin overthere.
Oh, I love they. Still do.

(46:18):
Doc Mcstuffin and Vampirine are still two of the big ones that
they do and. Then there's like African
American version of Ariel. OK.
Was she? Was she already?
She was She already had a meet and greet at Disney.
Anyways, yeah, but I was like the cartoon version, babe.
They have an African American cartoon.
Room. Well, yeah, like I, like I said,
Disney Junior. Yeah, but like I said, they

(46:38):
already had an aerial meet and greet already.
OK, all right, fine. So they really can't do much.
But this is really. Cool.
More with the yeah, like with the more with the Disney Junior.
I think it would be good, especially at that park.
I mean, there's not a ton for levels, so the more that she got

(47:00):
I think the better. That would be really cool,
especially since it's so close to like the Disney Junior type
of stuff that they have. Are there already?
Yes, they're just expanding. That would be kind of cool.
And I've read somewhere, and I want to say it's at the Goofy
one, but it might be at Epcot, but it might be at the Hollywood
Studios. Get the animated section.
They're bringing Claribel Cow back out to meet guests.

(47:23):
Oh cool. There's so many kids, which I
think is is. Good be well no, she's in all of
the Mickey shows on Playhouse. Disney Junior.
I don't remember she is a character.
I don't remember her. She's not one of the Mickey's
Playhouse. Actually, Clarabel was on a
couple of What's that show called?
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Yeah. Yeah, she she ran in a store.

(47:47):
OK. But what she was, she was
Goofy's date to something. I think it's different, but then
I think I think. That is, I think that is Goofy's
girlfriend. So.
And then in the Mickey Mouse Funhouse, which is the newest
one, she's in most of the episodes as like a side
character. So like when they go to these

(48:08):
different worlds, Clarabelle is always somewhat interjected into
that as the mayor of the city orsomething.
The other one that's always seems to be how he has multiple
versions of himself, he's got his own multiverse is Pete.
Which most people don't like Pete that much.

(48:30):
You know, in, in these the the Disney Junior shows, he's
actually a likable guy sometimes.
Really. Yes.
I I don't get me, I thought I thought Pete was like the the
bad guy in all Disney, you know, like he's one like a like a
Disney ish villain. I think because they're gearing

(48:51):
a lot with the fab or a lot withthe six main Disney characters
that they needed, they are giving it to younger kids.
So they didn't want to have a villain.
Would I say he's not always the best character?
Yeah. But there, there are storylines
where he's helpful. There's storylines where he's

(49:14):
very much included in a part of the group, so he's not looked
completely as a villain in thesekids shows.
OK, all right, all right, uncle working by a check on social
