Hi honey, how you doing? Fabulous.
(05:26):
We have our foodie with us. What's up, Mike?
How you doing, man? I'm.
Doing better. We have our we have our musical
genius, which she is stuck at work.
Hey Nicole, how you doing? Wow, we're we're going.
That's right. And we have our things and we
have our travel update with uncle.
What's up, dude? How you doing, man?
Unk Muted. Unk is muted.
We can't hear him so can't hear can't hear Unk.
(05:50):
We just we can't. We can't hear.
We can't. Oh, he's coughing, he's coughing
up a lung real quick. So let let him take a breather
real quick and he'll come back. He'll come back to us in just a
little bit. So.
Yeah. All right.
So anyway, so apparently, you know, I have a story I want to
tell you guys. And this is going to follow up
to our foodie real quick becauseyou know, Jen, you know this.
(06:12):
And I cannot do, I just can't doedibles anymore.
I cannot do. Any form of that?
What was that, Hun? I said you can't do any form of
that. You don't do very well on it
anymore. You you overdosed on it once and
after that you weren't able to do it ever again.
Nope, I can't do any of it. That's the problem.
So I. That's three things.
Yep. So I, So what I did was I, I
took a full, I took a full edible.
(06:33):
Now, this is one of my mom's, you know, bedtime edibles 8
times daytime, nighttime, whatever, whatever you want to
call it. I no.
I said you took eight times the dose.
That's right. It was 8 times the dose.
That's how big the edible was. I took an edible and let's just
say that my body was burning up.I was like, I need water, I need
(06:54):
something. I was I was hallucinating.
That's how bad the the high was and all of a sudden took some
and all of a sudden I my mom gave me coffee and I literally
poured that on my neck. I literally poured it all over
my neck and I go, I took a shower.
Luckily when I luckily went out to the shower, it calmed me
down. So I was like, all right, I'm
(07:14):
good, I'm good. So you know what, I'm not doing
edibles ever again. And if you guys, if you guys are
listening to this, I know peoplefrom I know people from I know
guys from the I'm sorry, I know guys like from the other
podcasting shows that we listen to.
They they know I did this beforeor and guys, if you're hearing
this, don't you dare send me anyedibles, all right, because I
(07:36):
will not do them anyway. Guys like anyway, speaking about
speaking about edibles, Mike, now you told me, you told me off
air you did edibles with your dad.
Last night and it hit me like a mother and it still affected me
throughout the stay and I had togo into work today.
You should have called out. Dude you you literally should
have called out out of work. No, I was fine.
(07:58):
I it was fine. I had to do sandwiches so it was
easy and it was not. It wasn't really a busy day, so.
OK, so you're you're making sandwiches, but how high were
you? Come on, Mike, be honest.
How high were you? Not as high as you were, but
high enough that it was definitely.
It was making me sleepy. It was making you sleepy.
So let's put those ICU making. Let's say you were making a
hoagie and then all of a sudden you're like, all right, I'm
(08:20):
getting tired. I I can't do this anymore.
Let me go, Let me go to. Sleep I was able to push
through. I was like, it was basically
they thought the whole day yesterday.
How were you? How were you able to push
through though, man? I mean how?
OK. How big of an edible did you
take? It wasn't that big.
It was like, it was like a smalllittle gummy, but it had a lot
of THC and really fucked. It had a lot of weed.
(08:40):
How? How much of TTHC was it do you
know? OK, well it was cannabis.
Actually, it is. Well, that's what T that's what
THC is, buddy, Yeah. 50 milligrams per square. 50 yeah
Dang, dude, what that's pretty big for for for THC inside an
edible. That's a lot.
That's a lot, Mike. So like I was, you should have
(09:02):
just called out for for today, man, just call out.
No, I couldn't call out. I don't want to do that.
I didn't save up my hours and I was fine.
You're going to save up your hours.
All right, Cool. So how about you, man?
Do you do? Have you ever done anything like
that before? Like taking edibles or mess
around with icky sticky or anything like that?
Nothing at all like that. Nothing.
(09:22):
Dude, you're clean. You're clean.
Is a whistle, then? Yes.
OK. There's all like, no tequila, no
vodka. Rum.
Oh, no, no, no. I'll have a drink.
OK, but. But you want to do the other
stuff? You want to do the icky sticky?
Yeah. OK, bye.
Like I said, I don't always do edibles.
I just do it. I just decided to last night.
(09:42):
OK. All right, Jen, what about Jen?
What about you? Did you take it?
Have you taken any icky sticky before or had you had like any
edibles before? All.
Accounts. Jen, I can't hear you.
I plead the 5th. OK, Jen, you plead the fifth.
OK, Nicole on the. Kindergarten teacher where it
is. It's not legal if you do not
have a medical card. That's true.
That's very true. Nicole, what about you?
(10:03):
I know you're saying at work youprobably can't, you can't say
anything. But do you also plead the 5th as
well? Oh.
Neither confirm. Gee, now the control, they can't
confirm as well. All right, cool.
All right, guys, we know. Let's go ahead and jump right
into it. It's a good little story, but
let's jump right into it, guys. It is now time for the latest
(10:24):
theme park updates. It's now time for the latest
theme park updates brought to you by the Magic Candle Company.
Head on over to magiccandlecompany.com and grab
a candle for your home or for your office and use the code
round Table 19 at checkout for your discount.
Take it away, Remy. Yeah, let me find my notes here.
(10:44):
There we go. Boom.
Alright, perfect. Alrighty.
So we are starting out over in the, you know, we got some dizzy
resorts updates for you guys. So as of today, the Central
Florida, the, I'm sorry, let me start over with that.
As of today, the Central FloridaTourism Oversight District,
formerly formerly known as ReedyCreek, approved a bold a bold
(11:09):
new 2045 comprehensive plan in 20 in 2045, I'll be 56 years
old, all right, for Walt Disney World.
This plan set sets the stage fordecades of future growth across
all four theme parks. Rumors swirl about a potential
fifth theme park, a larger expansion across property.
(11:30):
Get ready. The most magical place on earth
is about to grow even bigger. So who knows?
And who knows maybe, maybe in 2045 we'll have a, we'll have a
fifth Disney theme park. I'm, I'm looking forward to
that. But the question is, where will
we, where will we put the, the 5th theme park?
Do you guys have any idea where we, where we can put the 1/5
(11:50):
Disney theme park? I mean Universal, has the person
made a theme park? But the question is where, where
do you guys, where do you guys think we can put it the the 5th
Disney theme park? That's a tough one.
I would say coach to the somewhere.
Coach to the Magic Kingdom, maybe?
Where in the Magic Kingdom though, there's like, no, no.
No, no, back there's to the Magic Kingdom.
(12:11):
I get that Mike, but there's no room like closer to the Magic
Kingdom. OK, maybe not the Magic Kingdom.
Oh, I know. Where?
Where? Wait, there's a part of where
they they don't have anything inbetween.
Where? The yacht?
The yacht and beach corporate sources and Palm Golf Course, as
well as Coronado Springs Resort.Oh, so they can get so they can
(12:31):
get rid of some of that stuff over there.
Over there. I'm sorry.
Get rid, get rid of some of thatland and then put that towards,
yeah, you know, the 5th theme park.
The only other one I could thinkof is to the right of Magic
Kingdom, and there's that also one.
It's Disney Fort Wilderness Resort Campground, Disney's
Wilderness launch, and it's, if you put it to the right of the
Disney's Wilderness launch, there's also a bunch of stuff
(12:53):
there. So yeah, there's a few places
or, or actually it could be technically if you really want
to, but that would be kind of going a little too much.
I think like past Magic Kingdom near the top of Reams Road and
where Winter Winter Garden, Vineland Rd. and Reams Rd.
meets. That might that might be a
little too far. Yeah, Yeah, that's what I
(13:15):
thought. So maybe, like I said, probably
the best one would be because like the only issue, yeah,
because I know for a fact that there's a not only a ton of
search the I know that there's these three golf courses right
near Magic Kingdom. That's true.
That is true. What about you, man?
Where do you think they can put a fifth Disney theme park?
So I'm trying to look at this map actually, because I was
(13:40):
just, I was really looking at this before you brought it up
and it kind of shows some of their possible plan.
And what I'm seeing is the MagicKingdom area and the Epcot area
seems to be where they have a lot of stuff zoned out.
(14:02):
That's I, I would say back closer to the Magic Kingdom
area, there's some room like if you're driving into Magic
Kingdom, it would be on the sidewhere shades of green is on that
side of the road. I think would have some room
that could be a possibility. But that's where like that's
(14:23):
where the shades of green golf course is.
So that could be a option if they got rid, got rid of that
golf course. All right.
But guys, we are, we are now moving forward with a dining,
dining and Disney plus experiences.
So Disney recently rolled back dining reservation search
improvements due to guest feedback on the My Disney
(14:43):
Experience app Coming soon, Interactive virtual storefronts

themed snacks and merge while you watch your favorite shows.

(15:06):

(16:10):

back to Jen real quick to the 4th of July in the sky for July
3rd and the 4th now. So are you planning on going to
Magic Kingdom on that day? I will be at Magic Kingdom on
the 4th. All right, so you heard Jen 9 at
9:20. That is when the fireworks will
be going up. Yes, 920.
(16:30):
All right, Jen, what else? What else we have for Oh, we got

first visible step of a major frontier land overhaul here

(19:03):

Kingdom? All right, animal Kingdom,
there's some Tropical America's progress.
Imagineering pulled 3 new permits for the Tropical
America's project replacing Dinoland USA in Chester.
And has certain areas Target gave you is 2027 so big changes
a lie ahead for this lush part? All right, so we're hanging over
(19:26):
to we are hanging over to Hollywood Studios and that is
the fresh restored ice cold hydraulic sign returns spelled
correctly this time. So remember on the past episode
they we told you guys that they misspelled the word hydraulic.
So now it's back to its normal stage.
So there we go over at Disney Springs.

major shift in the front office because we have some iDrive
development developments news and that is sorry, I cannot
speak tonight. I don't know why Tiger Woods pop
stroke Tiger Woods pop stroke mini golf has followed permits
(21:36):
for a new location on International drive.
Well, this is a this is some news.
Actually, the long the long vacant I4 eyesore tower may
finally welcome his first tenantafter 20 years.
So it looks like somebody is taking over that that building
off of I4 right by Altamonte Springs.
(21:56):
So let's go. Doubt that that's true, but OK,
I really doubt that's true, Honey, Why?
Why you Why you say that? Because it's, it's owned by a
Christian, Christian facility and our station.
And so I believe because of the way that they they fundraise to
have the building, they can't sell it to anybody.
(22:18):
If you except you're like a Christian or something, no.
I don't think that they can sellit to anyone, but maybe, maybe

right now Disney has ended its $99.00 down payment option for

Going to guess that that one also does you is also good for
the Disneyland parks. No, there's only ones here in
Florida, really. Yeah, just here in Florida,
(24:04):

passwords like if they have oh what you call it, if they have
that pass, they can get discounts off of that Disneyland
tickets. OK.
But I mean, it's still good theycan get discounts off of those

(31:05):
innovation, celebration, and magic.
Back to you, Rummy. Thank you Jen, thank you, thank
you so much. And guys that will do it for
this day in Disney history with Jen and I gotta say, you know
some of those history lessons. You know what?
There's why Resource been opening to the public and Jen
didn't. Didn't you say you want to stay
at the Grand Floridian one night?
I don't know about the Grand Floridian.
(31:25):
I really want to stay at the Polynesian, but that's just me
and it's super expensive. Which I mean, we have a travel,
we have a travel guide right here.
Unk, how much how much is you know, to stay at the the
Polynesian? Give me a minute and I will get
back to you here in a second. Sounds good.
Well, while Unk is looking that up guys, it is now time for
Mike's Mike's munchies. Hey.
(31:48):
Are you? Hungry.
Want to know the? Best spots to check out while
visiting your favorite theme parks right here in Florida?
We call this segment Mike's Munchies.
Kim Mike will take you to your favorite theme park restaurant.
He'll take out an appetizer, an entree and a dessert and give us
the grand total of his meal. Take it away.
King, Mike, all. Right, Mike, so we let's see we
went to Morimoto. We had them.
(32:10):
So we had some sushi from last from last week's episode and we
all get it. We all gave it a 4.7 for a total
rating. Tonight we're going we're
staying at Disney Springs. Apparently this is from hunks
idea. We're heading we are heading
over to am I correct? Are we going to bar George?
(32:31):
That you are correct now. It wasn't it specifically.
Aunt gave me this idea a few weeks ago when we were doing the
Father's Day episode. Talk about wine part George
having a special menu. But yeah, I didn't unfortunately
choose it that week. But but now I'm doing actual
wine part George, the real menu, which about you, I technically
still need to go back into Summer House one time as well
(32:54):
because the menu item for that was for Fireman Kretti.
I think that was for Thanksgiving, right?
Yep, we went to. We went to the we went to Summer
House for Thanksgiving. That's right, we did.
Yeah, which I which like I said different menu from what they
usually do anyway, Wine Bar George is actually a very
prominent is a very prominent one of the vendor restaurants
that are at in Disney Springs ifI remember.
(33:17):
Have you been there before by me?
To wine bar. To wine bar, George.
Yeah, no, I have not. But I want to though.
Oh, OK, so, OK, so actually so wine bar George has.
So first up for wine part, George, I am going to well,
first up, we need to talk about First off, I guess I'm going to
go with middle clunch drink. I'm going to get a wine, of
(33:39):
course. Well, you are going to get a
wine. Are you going to get a red wine
or you're going to get a white wine or what?
OK, so now just kind of trying to OK, there we go.
OK, so I so actually I'm going so the one I'm actually going to
choose for this one, I'm not going to go.
It's going to be surprised of what this one is, but I'm
(34:02):
actually gonna go with the Riesling.
OK. And that's that's one of the
things that Jen likes too. So I'm gonna go with their
domain, Winebach. Winebach, which is from France,
and it's actually a pretty good one.
You could get oh, wait, no, never mind.
Actually, that went not that one, that one.
That one is a little bit too much A.
(34:22):
Little too little too much for your taste, huh?
What's to say it goes by it goesbased off of the Oz?
What the heck? Is there these things that I
wanted to do? OK, wait, wait, So which one?
Actually, no, my bad. I'm going to go with a rose.
You're going to get a rose. And how much is a rose Mike?
So the one I'm going to go for is from it's called protocol,
which is 8, which is from Spain and it was from last year and
(34:46):
it's $8 for six ounce glass. OK.
All right, Sir, are you getting so after you got your wine or
you're going to get an appetizer, An appetizer, right?
Yes, of course, you getting so for my appetizer, uh, there is,
there's really not, there's not as many as people tend to think.
So, so they have, so they have afew choices You can get you can
(35:09):
get warm spiced off, so you can get warm spiced olives.
They yes, they actually warmer bars, which I've actually had
that before. It's actually pretty delicious,
but the one I'm going to go withand it's my favorite.
It's one of my favorite things that it is somewhat more of a
pricier 1. I am going with it is called the
Saganaki on fire. That's a cool name for a dish,
(35:31):
and how much is it? So it is 17, it is $17.00. 17
bucks. So it's so saganaki on fire is
it is what it So if you don't know, saganaki is actually a
Greek dish and it's like, and it's like these cheese that they
do that they light on fire in front of you at the end, like
they cook it and do that on fire.
(35:51):
And it's really it's one of my favorite appetizers to get us
the Greek thing I. Kind of like those kind of
dishes. But the one thing you did say
earlier, the warm up olives. Jen loves olives and she can put
a stamp. She can put a stamp on that.
So Jen, it looks like we may have to make a trip to Disney
Springs and go to Wine Bar George.
Yeah, yeah. So yeah, I do like I do the Jen.
(36:13):
I actually love olives too. And actually, my first time I
ever had olives warmed up olivesspecifically was when I went to,
I was actually in Kauai and Hawaii on the island of Kauai,
there was a restaurant that our restaurant market that we that
was right near our, our bet, ourBNB, our Airbnb, I specifically,
(36:35):
and it was like they had like warmed up hours that you could
get there for dinner and it was amazing.
Dude, that sounds good. Yeah, so.
States that Remy and I went out,we went to, he took me to a
Greek restaurant and literally Iasked them, can you bring me a
plate full of olives? Like a side of olives.
And he thought that was the weirdest thing on earth, that I
(36:57):
asked for a side of olive. No.
Damn thing. No I What's your favorite olive?
Kalamata. Yeah, that's pretty good one
too. I also like Frisco Toronto and
Castle Castle for Toronto. But anyway, so yeah, $17.00 for
that stuff for the Saganaki on fire is what I'm going to
choose. I just thought that this is way
too good. Now As for in regards to main
(37:20):
plates, we got a few. The one I'm going to go for for
the most part is, oh, hang on a second.
Yeah, so entrees are a little bit different.
There's only two entrees you canactually get there.
There's two entrees, that one bar George.
Only two entrees, well, there's more than that, but there's.
But The thing is, is that one, there's only two that are single
(37:44):
serve and one that serve from two or more two to four people.
So I take it, I take it that you're, you are going to get
that one right? Which one?
The single serve. No, the two for four.
No. Damn.
That two to two serves 2 to 4. No, that's a they're first of
all, they're more expensive and they're much bigger.
For my Hanche, I'm going to go with the cheaper the two because
(38:04):
they're both expensive. Wait, let me go.
Oh. No, I'm here.
Sorry about that. Just had a.
So turn the light on with the cheaper of the two, which is
Bell and Evans braised chicken. Braised chicken.
Oh yes, and it's got culture. Poached potatoes, cauliflower,
chipolini, onions, fennel and a cream reduction.
Well, Mike, if you look at my photo, if you look at my photo,
(38:24):
I this is what I'm having right here.
So there you go. And MM, how much is that?
This is 38 bucks. You said it's $38.
Yeah. And is that what is that what
you're getting? Yeah, because the other one is
$56 all. Right.
So you're going cheap, you're going $38 all right.
Yeah, and last but not least, wehave to choose desserts.
(38:47):
They had desserts there, even though even though we have
Gideon's Bake Shop right there, like right across from one bar
George. Yes, we they do have, they do
have desserts there and they have 3 desserts there.
So, so 1 is a kinam pie. Kinam pie, of course.
It's a Florida favorite. Which Jen loves Key Lime Pie.
(39:08):
The other one is called Tea tartwhich which comes with the
chocolate crust, cherry, pomegranate, red wine, Jelly and
tuched in marshmallow. And the last?
One say what now? It comes with the chocolate
crust, cherry, pomegranate, red wine, Jelly and tuched in
marshmallow. Bro that sounds good.
Yeah, but I'm going to go with this one because this one really
(39:28):
interests me. Olive oil.
Cake Olive Olive oil cake. And it got candied olives and
lemon. Marsh Capone.
Damn it, Jen, we Jen. We were going to go to Wine Bar
George. Have you eaten there?
No, but I am not. But I think, I think we're, I
think, you know what? I think Jen and I are going to
(39:50):
go to Wine Bar George for our anniversary because the stuff
you're the stuff you're mentioning, Mike, the olives,
the Key Lime Pie, the the wine there.
Yeah, I think that's where Jen and I will go for our
anniversary. Yeah.
So let's see. And how much?
And how much is that, by the way?
So the OK hang on. 8 bucks. 8 bucks.
(40:14):
It's $8 for that cake, all right, $8 all right.
Cool. Yeah.
Oh, by the way, if if you want Ican show you some pictures.
Go ahead. OK, time to share.
So first up, this is the Saganaki on fire.
That's how they do it. Whoa, that's pretty cool.
Yeah. So that's what it looks like.
They give you like bread and stuff and then you put it in.
(40:35):
Yeah, there was a few other items there that they have.
This one is what the Yeah, they had short ribs.
So this is the olive oil cake. Which cake is which cake is
that? That's the olive oil cake.
Wow, wow. Yeah, yeah, apparently, yeah.
And they said yeah. That looks good.
(40:56):
That looks good. Yeah, that looks really good.
Yeah, yeah, it's a very requiredtaste.
But let me just tell you this. If you don't like overly sweet,
this is the better. This is probably one of the
better desserts to try out because yeah, there are some
desserts that could be really sweet.
And so if you don't like 2, if you don't like you think it's
too sweet, then then definitely try out that our oil cake.
(41:19):
No. OK.
All right, Mike, Are you ready? Are you ready for your total?
Yeah. All right, Mike.
So guys based on on Mike's munchies, we do it on A1
reservation if you guys are traveling by yourself at a
Disney theme park or at a Disneyresort or hey at a local Disney
restaurant. If you guys are at the resort or
Disney springs. Mike, your total came out to be
(41:41):
91 dollars. Wow, $91.00.
So make sure you write that down.
Wine bar, Wine bar, George, justfor one person, $91.00.
And if it was just let's see if I can just clear this real
quick. If it's just Jen and I, Jen will
be, Jen will be spent. We'll be spending $182.
(42:02):
OK, but you probably won't be because first of all, like I
said, you would share the Sagunaki on fire.
Yes, we would. And actually if you were doing
2, there's two there is like I said, a family thing which could
be depending on the thing could be cheaper.
Like the other entree is a good rib eye which is 56 bucks.
So that was the one I didn't choose.
(42:23):
But for the family style, the have a skirt steak that is
$81.00. Like I said, that's one serves 2
to 4, so OK. And the other one is a whole
Greek sea batch which is $78. So depending on the thing, yeah,
it still is works for today the place chicken, but yeah, you're
going to get out. You get, you get a lot.
So I mean, pretty much what I'm going to say, Mike, is that if
(42:46):
if it was just Jen and I, yeah, we'll be spending $182.00, but
with our discount at Wine Bar George, it'll be $165.
To that show, but you would probably spend, like I said, you
spend that because take out the 17 because if you did get the
Soccerneti on fire, you won't you both won't be getting just
for yourself. You won't you won't get one for
(43:06):
each of yourself. You'll probably share one,
right? I think so, Jen, what do you
think? You think we'll be we'll be
sharing those dishes if we go toWine bar George.
Yeah. Sure, yeah.
You heard her. She said sure.
All right, Mike. Well, thank you so much for
Mike's munchies. And you know, I'm gonna give her
a sense. We can't really give a rating
because we never been since we never been there.
All right. If we were gonna go there, I
(43:29):
would give it a I'll give it a 4.5.
Same here. So Mike, you also give a 4.5.
Jen, what about you? If you and I did go to Wine Bar
George, after what Mike said with these menu options, what
type of rating would you give it?
I guess the 4-5. The 4-5 as well and uncle by you
man. So I'm gonna be the odd man.
Now it's not my type of food. I won't worry that too low.
(43:50):
But I would write the four because it's not somewhere I
would want to go eat. OK, and we're gonna divide that
by the four. The four of us and Mike, go
ahead and go ahead and write this down dude.
The our rating for wine bar George came out to be a 4.4 OK,
so for wine bar. So for wine bar George is a four
(44:11):
point 4. All right, Mike.
So next week, where are we going?
So we're going to go to. The that is, that is if we have
an, that is, that is if we have an episode next week, so.
So if we do have one, which we must like we would, which I'm
pretty sure I will be on there, but actually technically be, oh
wait, next Wednesday. Yeah, Wednesday, though I won't
(44:33):
be here next Wednesday unless could we do a Tuesday or are you
working Tuesday? I'll probably we're I'll
probably ending up. I'll probably ending well, end
up working on Tuesday because you work on Tuesdays.
So you know what, Mike? Just let us know where we're
going, where we go, which restaurant do you want to go to?
OK, well it was supposed to be my birthday thing, so.
(44:54):
OK, so yeah, next week is my birthday on Tuesday, which is so
let's see. So where do you?
So where do you want to go, birthday boy?
Let's see. Oh, if I had to choose one or
hang on, I got hang on a second for OK, If I had to choose one,
you know what? No, I'm gonna go because I do
know about this one. I really did like it.
(45:15):
This is Coronado Springs Resort. We're gonna go to Toledo.
Toledo OK, so we're going to Toledo the next time we'll see
Mike, which will be on July 9th,and that is when we'll do the
next episode of Remy's Roundtable.
So on July 9th, we'll go to Toledo's with Mike.
Now that was an amazing meal. Which restaurant should we head
(45:37):
to next? You can send in your suggestions
at remysroundtable@gmail.com. We'll be right back with more of
Remy's Roundtable, the Florida Theme Park Podcast.
Mike, thank you so much for Mike's munchies.
And guys, it's time for us to wrap up the show with a travel
update with UNK. He's got the knacks, hidden gems
(46:15):
and hats right inside his backpack.
Park maps, fast fast food lines cutting through.
I'm Scott. The tips.
I'll show you what to do. It's fun.
It's rockets and it's always on point Time 48.
Let's all annoy the man. Wait.
The plan right now by Remy's round Table.
So sit back, relax. It's all on the cable.
He's got your truth on luck. Let him prepare your theme park
(46:47):
trip one more time. Let's give UNK a big tip.
He's got the net, he's got the net, he's got the net.
Hitting gems and hats. Hitting gems and hats right
inside. He's got the tips.
I'll show you what to do. The man with the plan right now
(47:12):
on Rebbe's round table. So sit back, relax, it's all on
the cable. So sit back, relax.
It's all on the cable. Let's go with UNK, It's the
ultimate show. He's got your trip on lock.
(47:34):
Oh yeah, long lines, no stress. Oh yeah, Hotels, food, rides.
Let's go with UNK. It's the ultimate show.
So sit back, relax, it's all on the cable.
He's got your trip on lock. Oh yeah, No long lines, no
stress. Oh yeah.
Hotels, food, rides. Let's go with UNK.
It's the ultimate show. When it comes to theme park
(47:58):
preparation, nobody does it better.
From planning to packing, from park hacks to hidden gems, he's
got you covered. It's fun, it's raucous, and it's
always on point. So sit back, relax, let him
prepare your theme park trip all.
Right, so to to start tonight, Idid go and look at what you guys
were asking with the Polynesian. So I did this for July 1st.
(48:19):
So one night stay Polynesian isn't actually that bad.
So you could stay at the villas or the bungalows for 554 a
night. And I lost the other one on the
actual like main area. Give me a second.
Still 5, still 550. Geez, that's a that's a bill.
(48:42):
That's a little bit of our pricerange there.
Well, yeah, yeah, the actual, the actual like main building
resort is 739. Oh, wow.
OK, that's like I said, that's still price range.
You compare it to some of the other ones.
You got the Grand Floridian above that, Animal Kingdom still
(49:04):
above that. The Beach Club Villas is above
that. The Riviera is the most
expensive still. Bay Lake Tower at the
Contemporary, those are all above both of those.
So it's it is of course more expensive than most places.
It's still on the top half. When you compare it to some of
(49:25):
those other big ones, it's not when you're thinking a villa is
cheaper than the actual resort. That's true, yeah.
Yeah. And then my other piece of
travel news is there's some if you're looking to go on a Disney
vacation, but you don't want to go to the parks, umm, there's
some nice discounts going on forstays.
(49:48):
October 20th through December 23rd most nights at Alani UMM.
So if you're staying four more days, you're looking around the
25% discount, 5 or more days you're looking at a 30%
discount, a nice little discount.
There's a couple other discountsgoing on with Alani right now,
(50:10):
but that's a more general Broadview offer that's
available. And then my last thing for well,
two last things. My last thing is a week from
now, I will be down in nice and sunny and hot Florida with my
entire family. And we are excited to be down
(50:34):
there. We get down there July 1st, we
leave July 8th. And then a quick special shout
out to my wife. Our anniversary was yesterday,
our 8th anniversary. So we went out.
Graduations. Yeah, Congrats.
We went out. Grandparents.
Yeah, we went out to dinner lastnight with my boys and just kind
(50:58):
of hung out. And Saturday is my brother's
wedding. So once we get him married off,
then we can all go to Disney. There we, there you go, man.
So you have, you have everythingall planned out, right?
So you have everything all planned and ready to go when you
guys do come to Florida for yourDisney Trevor, right?
Yep, Yep, we've got it. Everything pretty much mapped
(51:20):
out. Got our dining reservations all
set up, got our perks decided ondash set up and we booked
lightning lanes for July 4th because we knew it would be very
busy that day. So we decided to bite the bullet
and do do Lightning Lanes so that we could do some
(51:41):
attractions, you know, you know which rides, you know which
rides you guys want to do first. When you guys do go to like
Magic Kingdom or Epcot or Animalor Hollywood Studios, it really
does. So we don't per SE have ones we
have to do like or any that we have to do in order.
There's some rides that we have to do multiple times on our
trip, one being the Tiki Room. My wife is.
(52:03):
That's my wife's favorite thing down there.
She talks about it all the time.We will ride the Barnstormer
multiple times because both of my sons are tall enough for that
and they like it. We always ride the Speedway.
That's just something that has carried on since I was little
and we would go with my grandparents and it was one of
(52:25):
the few rides my grandfather really liked going on.
You know what, you know what I call?
You know what I call that? The, the, the, the Indy
Speedway. What do you call it?
I call the Indy lawn mower. That's what is the giant gap in
our ozone layer because of that ride.
(52:48):
People. People mover.
Oh, people mover. Yeah.
Yeah. What I'm most excited for this
trip. I've not done country bear since
they've redone it great show dude I mean I'm very excited for
that. We we saw it and I gotta say
it's uh it was well, it was really well done like it was
(53:09):
just beyond well done with the whole the new show.
I'm sorry, the new songs, the new material, the new costumes,
effects, everything looks everything looks really good to
the point to the point where I had to be evacuated from the
country bear Jamboree show. I'm like, what happened?
Well, yeah, one one of the bearsstarted smoking and we all had
(53:32):
to leave. So got pretty bad in there.
I'm like, all right, cool. But after after all that, they
gave us like a free lightning pass and I'm like, well, I know
I'm using it for it was a it wasa 45 minute wait.
You bet your butt I'm gonna go over to space mountain and go
ride that ride. We're the other one we're
excited for is Tiana's. We haven't done Tiana's yet.
(53:52):
So my mom even said she would goon it and she's not a big ride
person, but she wants to try it again since it's been redone.
So we're excited for that. My oldest son, Nick, is tall
enough to ride most of the rides, so we'll see how that
goes. We'll see how that goes.
Just just tell your mom that it's a nice, calm boat ride with
(54:16):
a big drop. Oh, she's been on it.
She's been. She's been on everything at
Disney. Yeah, she's been on everything.
So she was on Tiana's when it was Splash Mountain multiple
times. Just she, she is a little bit
more cautious now with what she rides, which works out because
(54:37):
my youngest son Jake is tiny andcan't ride a lot of things.
So they hang out a lot during the day.
Mike, do you have any questions for for UNK about his his
upcoming trip to Disney? Yes.
So beside, so you're just going to Disney or you're going to go
to Universal too? Disney.
I've been to Universal right now.
(54:59):
Anyway, it's too busy right now.I've only been to Universal one
time and I've been down to Disney multiple over 30 times to
Disney World and we've only goneto Universal wants and the only
reason we won is we got a free ticket for the day.
You should try and do it universal though, it is fun,
especially with the new epic universe, though maybe not this
year. Yeah, I think maybe if my as my
(55:21):
kids get a little bit older, it might be something we do.
My wife is a big and loves HarryPotter so I it's something on
our radar to do eventually, but we love Disney that's.
Do you like Nintendo? I was never a gamer, I've never
really been a gamer. I like Mario and Donkey Kong in
(55:43):
them and I think that area looksreally cool from what I've seen
on the videos. The land I would be most
interested to see is actually how to train your dragon.
Yeah. That that area to me looks
really. And then of course, Dark
Universe. Remy, what about you?
Have you been to Epic Universe yet or no?
Not yet, but there may be a really big possibility of me
(56:06):
going in a couple of months though.
OK, let's just say that I've been keeping track on how much
like a day ticket is and I just have to wait a couple.
I'm just going to wait a couple of months and I'm going to go to
Epic Universe because it's goingto be unreal.
So I can't wait. I cannot wait to check it out.
Mike here. Mike, if you want any pictures
of it, anything from where we'reeating, hit let me know.
(56:29):
And we're going to a bunch of different restaurants and always
find the new things to try. All right, definitely get some
pictures from me. Oh yeah, put them on the discord
I guess. All right, so.
All right, so all right, so we're talk about Magic Kingdom
now let's move over to Epcot. What are you doing at Epcot?
(56:49):
Everything. Everything.
Hold on, man, Hold off. Now, are you gonna, are you
gonna start out over in Mexico area first or are you gonna go
over to Canada? Which, which, which way are you
going? Which direction do I go first?
Which way, Which direction are you going?
Where you starting out? Mexico or Canada?
I usually go Mexico. Let's go.
(57:10):
Yeah, less. I'm going to France like a if I
have a lightning lane or something for Remy's, I'm not
going to walk that long distancejust to go to France cook.
I go and when I can go the otherway.
That's right. You can do that, but you're like
now you gotta think like, umm, should I just go ahead and take
my tequila tequila shot now or not to wait?
(57:32):
Let me just think about that real quick.
That's a that's a decent thing to decide upon.
I don't usually get a tequila shot though, so it doesn't
matter to me. Well, dude, come on.
I mean, that's, that's my, my number one spot to go to at
Epcot. Is that that tequila bar?
I can't read the name of Cava LaCava tequila bar.
(57:52):
Yes, my everybody goes there. The two places that I I stop if
I want to drink, I'm stopping either in Germany to get a
grapefruit beer. Good, all the the shopping
housing, yes, or I'm stopping inItaly and getting a drink there.
One of my favorite things to actually get there is
Limoncello. Yes, but I get the, I get the, I
(58:14):
get there a Peroni because there's a deal.
If you go to the Italy, Italy side and you go to the stand
where you get the one the I'm telling you, man, it's like one
of the best pizzas I've very I ever had at Epcot and cost like
I'm thinking like maybe like $7.00 and that comes with a beer
and a pizza for seven bucks. Dude, that's not bad at all.
(58:35):
That's a steal. That is a steal right there on
Disney property, $7.00 for a pizza and a beer.
And I remember on my previous just like a couple years for my,
for my birthday, me and my buddies, me and my friends and a
couple of my Co workers who I used to work with.
I'm like, Hey, guys, we're doingmy we're doing my birthday.
Where, where are we going? We're going to Epcot And they're
(58:56):
like, all right, so where do youwant to go first?
I'm like, guys, we're going to, we're going to go Mexico.
We're going to go grab a couple of shots of tequila and then
we'll head over to Italy for some lunch, go over there and
we'll grab that nice $7.00 pizzaand a nice $7.00 slice of pizza
with a beer and and then we'll go grab a door whip on the way
out. And that was a whole.
That was a whole day, man. I didn't want to go on any of
(59:17):
the rides. Like, none.
I do have one new thing that I get to try at Epcot this year.
Every time we seem to go to try to go through the Moanas, it's
raining. Yeah.
So I've never seen the Moana experience there.
Wear shorts. That's all I'm going to say.
Just wear wear company shorts because you will.
(59:37):
You will get wet in that area. That's fine with the heat.
It's projecting. I'm fine with that.
All right, so moving forward, yeah, I did your talk about your
Epcot plants. What about animal Kingdom?
Are you going to do like the safari ride are going to do fly
a passage? Are you gonna eat over there or
what you gonna do? We are not actually eating this
(01:00:01):
year at Animal Kingdom. We're going to do the safari.
We're going to do festival. The Lion King.
That's a note. That's a non negotiable.
We all love that show. We'll do fly the passage, we'll
do Navi, umm, we'll do extradition Everest.
We're only going to be there like 1/2 a day, a little bit
longer than half a day. Umm, but we are not eating
(01:00:24):
there. So you're not going to go to
Tusker House or or Yakking Yeti.I've ate at both of those.
We just we had other restaurantsat other parks.
We wanted to eat that more. Gotcha, gotcha, man.
All right, so now we're going over to one of my favorite,
favorite parks on Disney property, Hollywood Studios.
Now let's break it down. Are you going to go on Tower of
(01:00:45):
Terror Rock and Roller Coaster, Star Tours, Rise of Resistance?
The only ride that you said thatI, I, if it was my choice, I
would skip is tower of terror. What?
Come on. I'm not a drop guy.
I don't like the drop rides. If my wife wants to ride it, I
will ride it with her. I don't think I don't think that
(01:01:06):
I don't think the hell works, man, because if I'm there with
you guys at Hollywood studios, I'll be like, Oh, you, you sit
this one. I'll go I'll go on tower of
terror. So you'll use it not in you
won't enjoy man. So, so besides for that we will
do every ride. We're planning to be there two
nights so that we can see Fantasmic 2 times.
(01:01:28):
Yes, Fantasmic is our favorite nighttime show as a whole show,
I mean, of course you can't passup Magic Kingdom Fireworks, but
as a total show, we love Fantasmic.
So we are planning to do that twice.
We are eating at Backyard barbecue one day and we are
(01:01:53):
going back to something we haven't had in years and we're
eating at Hollywood and Vine. Great spot.
That's where Jen and I went to last time we were at Hollywood
Studios. We went there for the character
experience and for the buffet food and it was it was
delicious. And it's a seasonal food every
single time you go to Hollywood and Vine, which is perfect.
We're excited. It's a it's a spot for the kids
(01:02:15):
to see some extra characters andwe need a new restaurant at
studios that does the fantasmic dining package because our go to
restaurant Mama Mel Roses makes you rest in peace.
That was our go to restaurant there.
That was probably our favorite restaurant on property.
To be completely honest. My favorite, my my favorite
(01:02:37):
restaurant on Hollywood at Hollywood Studios is the 50s
prime as I want my favorite restaurant to go to because I
can't get enough their fried chicken dish, which is so good.
And plus and plus the cool thingabout that restaurant, you get
yelled at by mom. So that's the best part, Yeah.
And. What should I say it again?
(01:02:57):
50s prime OH. Yeah. 50s prime time.
