In this first episode of what turned out to be a mini series on Cabo Verde culture, language, food, geography, and random thoughts; I'm joined by my very good friend, Emaline Centeio, who helps me turn up the shenanigans as we try, but fail, to introduce the show. Emaline and I are both women of Cabo Verde so we thought it'd be a fun experience to get together and talk about culture, the immigrant experience - then and now, family, love, and oh so much more.
