way for true transformation.

Thank you so much forlistening and watching.

(00:47):
Please leave a rating and review whereveryou're listening and watching and share
this episode with somebody, becauseI feel this episode has the potential
to completely transform your life.
I want to talk aboutjust that transformation.
A lot of us are livinglives of unworthiness.
We carry this shame.
We carry this guilt.

(01:08):
We carry this feelingof unworthy all over us.
And we just carry that with us in ourdaily life and our friendships and
our relationships and our parentingand with our spouses, with our
marriages, we carry these feelings.
You might feel a lack of clarity, butyou just live in this cloud of confusion.
You may feel aimless.

(01:28):
Like you don't have any purpose.
You don't know what your purpose is.
And you feel like you're enslavedto the mundane of this world.
You're chasing things thatdon't really mean anything.
You're chasing money.
You're chasing fame.
You're chasing accoladesthat really don't mean much.
They might mean much right now to you,but sooner or later, they just fade away.

(01:49):
We take it from the most successful peoplein the world who achieved everything
that this world says you should achievegetting the finances, being the richest
people in the world, the most successfulactors, the most successful athletes,
and they still feel unfulfilled.
Now, I believe this is deeply rootedin our identity and our identity

(02:10):
contributes to our feeling of purpose.
If we're in alignment with that purpose.
If we feel like we're actually livingthe purpose that we were called for.
Now, the truth is You didnot put yourself here.
You did not create yourself.
You're not the reason why you're breathing
You did not put yourself here on earth inthis human experience in that human body

(02:31):
You cannot just create your purposein order to actually realize
and live in alignment with thatpurpose you have to get clear on
what the creator created you for.
The purpose then is fixed.
It's not something that you control.
Your purpose was givento you by your creator.

(02:53):
He created you.
Therefore, he created you with a purpose.
He created your purpose.
Surrender.
Surrender yourself.
Surrender who you think you are.
Surrender all the ego, all the identity, all the labels, all the beliefs
about who you think you are and whoyou have been up to this very point.
If you keep doing the same thing, you'regoing to keep getting the same result.

(03:17):
Transformation then isnot going to just happen.
It's going to take consciouseffort and it's going to take
a conscious opening your heart.
So the one that's truly capable oftransforming you has the ability
to come in and do just that.
Now behavior modification.
That's good It's great sometimes if youmodify behavior long enough you start to

(03:39):
develop new habits Those new habits canstart shaping your character potentially
but true lasting Transformation;it's a transformation of the mind and
it's a transformation of the heart
true transformation comesfrom a transformed identity
It comes from a new identity

Jesus said in Matthew 16 (03:59):
24, whoever wants to be my disciple
must deny themselves and takeup their cross and follow me.
Jesus is pointing to himself.
He's telling people to follow him.
Deny yourself.
Deny who you think you are.
Deny your labels.
Deny your beliefs right now of whoyou believe you are and follow me.

(04:22):
And I'll show you who you really are.

Jesus said in John 8 (04:24):
12, I am the light of the world.
Whoever follows me willnever walk in darkness,
but we'll have the light of life.
He is saying, you let him in and hewill illuminate those dark places.
Those dark spots in your mind andin your heart and in your life.

(04:45):
Yeah.
And you will never walk in darkness again.
He is the light of the world.
And a lot of times we're keeping ourdark, dirty secrets in the basement
or in the, the closet of our life.
You're keeping that shame to yourself.
You're keeping that feelingof guilt to yourself.
You're not opening that up to anybody.
You're not being open aboutyour lack of purpose or your

(05:08):
feeling of lack of purpose.
You're not communicating your confusion, your lack of clarity in your life,
your feeling of meaninglessness.
Now all those things are not true.
Those are all lies.
But if you start to think a thing longenough, you really start to believe it.
Some of you are not even awareof the thoughts and the beliefs
that you have, and that you'rerepeating over and over in your mind

(05:32):
unconsciously.
You were made for more.
You don't have to find your purpose.
You have to just find your maker.
And by finding your maker, you will live your purpose.
It's like, if I gave you a newinvention that you've never seen
before, some weird robotic machine, and you have no idea what it is, you
won't know what the purpose of it is.

(05:54):
But how will you?
How will you know the purpose of this newinvention by talking to the creator of
the invention or going into the owner'smanual and reading it for yourself?
God, in all his wisdom created thisowner's manual over hundreds of years.
To guide you every step of the way,and then he sent Jesus to make it as
clear as possible that if you want toexperience God, if you want to experience

(06:17):
that love, if you want to experiencethat fullness of life that he came
to give, if you want to experiencethat true peace, you follow him.
Jesus also said in John 14 6.
I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to theFather except through me.
To be intimate, to know God, to beclose with God, to be one, to have

(06:39):
true oneness and wholeness withGod, Jesus is saying, I am the way.
That through me, you can have this.
Without me, you suffer.
You suffer in this world, findingyour meaning, finding your purpose.
The Bible also said, allthese things are vanity.
It's meaningless.
Just,A toiling under the sun.
Here one moment and gone with the wind.

(07:01):
But what must we do?
How do we genuinely transform?
What do we do?
Jesus says it in Revelations 3.
20. Here I am, I standat the door and knock.
If anyone hears my voice andopens the door, I will dine
with them and them with me.
He is knocking at the door.
He's trying to get your attention.

(07:22):
He knows he can't forcehis way into your heart.
How ridiculous would that be?
It's like a crazy ex lover breakingdown your door and saying, love me.
No, that's not love.
God knows what love is.
He is love.
It has to be a conscious decision.
It has to be a conscious invitation.
He says, he, if you hear my voice, you will open the door and I will come

(07:43):
in and dine with you and you with me.
That is a relationship aspect.
It's not about accomplishingtasks and religious duties, but
opening the door to your heart.
And allowing Jesus in, that iswhen your identity begins to shift.
That's when you're able to denyyourself and follow him because now
you have an intimate relationship.

(08:04):
When you invite, when you open the doorand you let somebody in to the comfort of
your home, you begin forming that bond.
Through that bond, through knowingChrist, through knowing who he
is, You begin to adopt the mindsetof Christ, just like anybody.
If you spend more time withsomebody, you start to adopt
the qualities of that person.

(08:25):
The more time you spend with acertain person, the more you adopt
their characteristics, and theircharacter traits, and their mindset.
Jesus is asking you to open a door, andlet him come in, and spend time with him.
Because the more time you spend with him,the more you adopt his heart, his mind.
And the more of the mind of Christyou have, The more transformation

(08:46):
you'll see and you'll beginto carry that new identity.
When you allow your ego andyour identity to truly die
when you let this old self die.
The way the old me used to think, myold habits, the way I used to conduct
myself, the used the way I used to carrymyself, the lack of integrity I had,
the aimlessness, the lack of purpose, the lack of clarity, this heavy sense

(09:10):
of unworthiness that plagues me.
When I let that person just dieand I am open to receiving Christ
and open to taking on this newidentity, not to say I'm going
to be perfect, but to say Christ.
I want you in my heart.
I want to invite you inevery area of my life.
Cause I've been trying to do it myself.

(09:30):
I've been trying to do it the wayI've wanted to do it or the way I've
been conditioned by society to do it.
And I have failed.
How's that working for you?
How is your way working for you?
If you want true transformation, you have to let yourself die
and take up a new identity.
Jesus is knocking at the door.

(09:51):
You just have to open.
And lay it down for him.
Invite him into the areas of your heart.
Invite him to your heart and your mind.
Invite him inside your heart.
Invite him to renew your mind.
Be transformed by therenewing of your mind.
Now, you're fighting a spiritual battle.
You're going to need spiritual help.
And Christ said, I left you a helper.

(10:13):
A helper that's greater than I am.
The Holy Spirit can do that for you.
That can truly transform your mind.
And through that transformation, throughhaving that Spirit of God in you, you
begin to shift the way you're thinking.
Your mind is beginningto become a new creation.
And you start having the mind of Christ.

(10:33):
Which leads into your relationships, which leads how you love,
which leads how you lead.
Which leads to improvingyour relationships.
It allows God to be seen through you.
It allows you to love well.
It allows you to have atruly service related heart.
It humbles you knowing thatI am NOT who created me.
I did not put myself here.

(10:54):
God is greater than I am.
His ways are greater than my ways.
His plans for me are much greater thanmy plans or that I can even imagine.
The people he has for me to impactgoes beyond my scope of comprehension.
Until you open the door to the light ofthe world, to shine the darkness away
from your mind, your heart, and yoursoul, transformation will not exist.

(11:18):
Jesus says deny yourself.
Deny yourself, take up your cross andfollow him because of the finished work
of the cross because of his power becausethe power of his spirit that conquered
death and conquered everything thatyou face right now that is holding you
hostage that's keeping you enslaved andthat's keeping you spiritually dead.

(11:42):
He conquered that and he said, Iam here to give you life and life
and life and all its fullness.
Do you want to see the light of the world?
You have to take your curtains down.
You can't expect the light of theworld to illuminate your home.
If you have all these blackout curtainson, if you want to stay in the dark, if
you're hiding from that light, if you'reclosed out, if your windows are shut,

(12:03):
if your curtains are up and your windowblinds are closed, you can't expect
that light to permeate inside your home.
But when you open those curtains.
And Jesus is knocking on the outsideso bright, so full of light, he
begins to let that light come intothat dark space of your home, of your
mind, of your heart, of your soul.

(12:24):
if your home is just so full of thislight, full of God's light, and your
curtains are open, then that lightnot only illuminates inside that
home, but it illuminates outside.
You begin to let yourlight out of that place.
And that light is actuallyGod's light coming out of you.
Until you truly open that dooruntil you truly give your heart

(12:48):
to him and say, I need you.
I'm tired the way my life is right now,I can't bear these burdens anymore.
I need you come into my heart andtransform me, make me a new creation.
Renew my mind, fill me with your spirit.
Because through that spirit thatconquered death, I can do all things.

(13:09):
I can break these chains.
I could find clarity in my life.
I could live in alignment with thepurpose you've given me I will realize
and actualize and declare my worthinessbecause of how you made me and you
making me in your image I'll claim thatpower and i'll claim that authority
But I first have to open that door.
The gates of change can onlybe unlocked from the inside.

(13:32):
God is knocking.
You just have to open thedoor and give it to Jesus.
You have all to gain and nothing to lose.
God bless you.
