The harvest is ready, but the Church has retreated behind its walls. Jesus painted a vivid picture when He said, "Look around, the fields are already ripe for harvest," and He wasn't talking about wheat—He was pointing at people. Broken, hurting souls searching for something real while we argue about coffee flavors in the church lobby.

This wake-up call challenges the comfortable Christianity that's forgotten its mission. The Great Commission wasn't a suggestion for missionaries and extroverts—it was a command for every believer. "How can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?" That someone is you. When the Holy Spirit fell in Acts 2, believers immediately went outside. Peter preached in the streets, not behind a pulpit, and 3,000 were saved in one day. The early church grew because followers of Jesus went out healing, helping, loving, and testifying "day after day, from house to house."

Most Christians have grown soft, wanting blessings without burden and revival that doesn't interrupt our Netflix schedule. But community outreach forces us to die to self like Jesus did. He left heaven's perfection to walk among our pain, while we make excuses for not knocking on a neighbor's door. This isn't just kindness—it's spiritual warfare that breaks chains when you bring light into darkness. You have a mouth to speak truth, hands to serve others, and a testimony to share. The hour is late, the harvest is waiting, and this isn't a pep talk—it's a call to repentance. Stop scrolling, stop overthinking, and do something this week. Knock on a door, feed someone hungry, volunteer at a shelter, or share your testimony. The church that goes out is the church that's truly on fire, and the gates of hell can't stop that.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
The world is changing and time is running out.
This is Renewed Mindsets, wherewe confront Biblical truth
head-on no sugarcoating, nocompromise.
We expose false doctrine, reveal fulfilled prophecy and
shine light on the demonicdeception of these last days,

(00:21):
but we also stand firm on thehope of Christ's return, the
call to holiness and the urgencyof true salvation.
It's time to renew your mind, for the time is now.
Let's go, boys.
Hey, welcome to Renewed Mindset.

(00:50):
I'm Rick and I'm so glad you'rehere.
There's a picture that Jesuspainted that we've forgotten.
He said look around, the fieldsare already ripe for harvest.
That's John 4.35.
He wasn't talking about grain,he wasn't pointing at wheat.

(01:10):
He was pointing at people, broken, hurting, searching for
something real.
And Jesus was saying they'reready, are you?
The church has becomecomfortable inside its walls.
We built stages, gatheredfollowings and fine-tuned

(01:32):
sermons, but the hurting arestill outside.
The addicted are still outthere the single mom, the ex-con
, the rebel kid, the suicidalneighbor.
And instead of reaching them,we're arguing about coffee
flavors in the lobby.
Now let me say this clearly Ifthe church won't leave the

(01:55):
building, then the fire of Godwill.
This episode is about communityoutreach, not as a cute ministry
idea, but as a biblical mandatein the last days, because if we
don't carry the gospel outsideof our comfort zone, we've
missed the whole mission.
We've got a lot to cover, solet's just start right here.

(02:21):
The Great Commission we've allheard of it.
It was not bring people to thechurch so that the pastor can
preach to them, was it?
Jesus said go into all theworld and preach the good news
to everyone.
Mark 16, 15.
That's not a suggestion, that'snot for missionaries only,

(02:43):
that's not for the extroverts, that's for us, the remnant, the
redeemed, the called.
We were not saved to sit, we'resaved to serve.
Now, here's the truth.
Most of the world will neverwalk into your church, but they
will walk into your life, intoyour workplace, into your gas

(03:07):
station line.
Romans 10.14 hits hard.
How can they hear about himunless someone tells them that's
someone, that's you.
Let's get biblical for a second.
In Acts, chapter 2, when theHoly Spirit fell, it didn't fall

(03:30):
in the temple, it fell in ahouse and they immediately went
outside.
Peter didn't preach behind apulpit, he preached in the
street and 3,000 people weresaved in a single day.
The early church didn't growthrough advertising or

(03:52):
attractional models.
They grew because believerswent out healing, helping,
loving and testifying.
Acts, chapter 5, verse 42, saysDay after day, in the temple
and from house to house, theynever stopped teaching and
proclaiming the good news.
Notice that, from house tohouse, not just in the sanctuary

(04:17):
, not just at events.
We're supposed to be mobile, notwaiting, but going.
Now listen to this.
Most Christians have gottensoft.
That's not real surprising, isit?
We want blessings withoutburden.
We want revival, as long as itdoesn't interrupt our schedule.

(04:38):
But community outreach forcesyou to die to self, because
you'll be stretched, you'll beuncomfortable, you'll encounter
rejection, you'll face hardstories, you'll give up a
Saturday or two.
And that's the point, becausewhen you serve the broken, you

(05:01):
start to look like Jesus.
Philippians 2, verse 4 and 5says Don't look out for only
your own interest, but take aninterest in others too.
You must have the same attitudethat Christ Jesus had.
Well, what was his attitude?
He left heaven, let that sinkin.
He left perfection to walkamong pain, and we're out here

(05:26):
making excuses for why we can'tknock on a door.
He left perfection to walkamong pain, and we're out here
making excuses for why we can'tknock on a door.
And we're not doing it becauseit's just kindness.
This is warfare.
When you show up in yourcommunity with the love of Jesus
, you're invading the enemy'sterritory no-transcript.

(05:50):
But when you bring light intothat darkness, even with
something as simple as a meal ora hug, or a ride or a gospel
tract, chains start to break.
2 Corinthians 10.4 says we useGod's mighty weapons, not
worldly weapons, to knock downstrongholds, and sometimes

(06:12):
outreach is that weapon?
It's not glamorous.
It's not glamorous, it's notalways supposed to be posted on
Instagram, but it's where thebattle's won.
Jesus said in Matthew 9, 37 and38, the harvest is great, but
the workers are few.
So pray to the Lord and ask himto send more workers into his

(06:35):
fields.
Friends, he's not talking aboutpastors, he's talking about you
.
You have a mouth you can speak.
You have hands you can serve.
You have a story you cantestify.
You have a story you cantestify.

(07:00):
And if you're listening to thispodcast, chances are you feel
the urgency too.
The time is short, the hour islate and the harvest is waiting.
Are you going to go Now?
Don't get me wrong, don'tmisunderstand me.
This isn't a pep talk.
What you're listening to is acall to repentance, because if
we've ignored the lost.
If we've made church all aboutus, we're wrong and it's time to

(07:25):
change.
Jesus didn't sit back, he moved.
He walked into villages, hetouched lepers, he fed crowds,
he sat with sinners, and if wesay we're following him, we
better be walking in his steps.

(07:45):
So here's a challenge for youthis week stop scrolling, stop
overthinking it and do something.
Knock on a neighbor's door,feed somebody that's hungry.
Volunteer at a shelter, takeyour small group into the
streets, share your testimonywith somebody who needs it.

(08:07):
Pray for your city and then goserve your city, because in the
end times, the church that goesout is the church that's truly
on fire, and the gates of hellcan't stop that.
Thank you so much for joiningme today on Renewed Mindsets.
Don't let this just be a wordyou heard.

(08:29):
Let it be a fire that you carry.
And remember the church isn'tjust a building, it's you, and
you've got a job to do.
So, until next time, stay awake, stay armored and stay faithful
.
We're not just preparing forthe end times, we are walking in

(08:49):
them.
