Before the fire fell, beforethe church shook the world,
before the story was carried tothe nations, someone had to
preserve the truth.
Today we walk with Luke, thecareful historian, the beloved
physician, the faithful friendwho chose to write it all down

so the world would know withcertainty of what God had done.
Let's walk together.

My name is Luke.
You won't find many storiesabout me in the scriptures.
I didn't walk with Jesus duringhis ministry like Peter or John
.
I wasn't there when he raisedthe dead or calmed the storm,
but I walked with the ones whowere.
I was a physician by trade,trained to notice the details,

to investigate carefully and tobring healing where I could.
But what I found was a greaterhealing than medicine could
offer a cure for the soul.
A kingdom that could not beshaken, a king who conquered
death.
And I knew I had to write itdown, not because the memories

(03:53):
were fading, not because thestory was weak, but because
truth, even the holiest truth,can be stolen by time if it is
not carefully guarded.
I was not among the twelve whowalked the dusty roads with him.
I did not see the nets breakwith fish at his word, nor stand

(04:14):
on the hillside when he brokethe bread and fed the thousands.
But I knew the ones who had.
I sat with them by firelight.
I listened as they wept,remembering his voice.
I heard the way their wordsshook when they spoke of the
empty tomb and I knew thistestimony could not be left to

the crumbling memories of men.
It had to be written.
I investigated everything fromthe beginning.
I asked the mothers, thefishermen, the tax collectors,
the zealots.
I pieced together the miracles,the teaching, the prayers in
the garden, the roar of the veiltearing in the temple.

I searched for the heartbeatbehind the words.
I searched for the scars hiddenbehind the stories and I found
it all true.
So, my most honorable brothersand sisters, and all who would
later walk these words, I set itdown in order, not for fame,

not for wealth, but so that youmay know with certainty the
truth you have been taught.
This story is not a legend, itis not a myth, it is not the
exaggeration of desperate men.
It is life, it is death.
