The ground beneath our routines is shaking, and the timeline for “someday” just ran out. We open a clear path from empty religion to a living relationship with Jesus—one marked by surrender, transformation, and Spirit-filled community. Drawing from Matthew 25, Romans 10, Hebrews 9:27, and Isaiah 53, we lay out why preparation matters more than platitudes and why “soon” in the kingdom often looks like “suddenly” in real life.

We start with the midnight cry: wars, cold love, and truth traded for emotion—signs Jesus warned us about. From there, we unpack the ten virgins and the difference between desire and readiness, lamps and oil, profession and preparation. Salvation isn’t a line you cross and then coast; it’s a Lord you follow and a cross you carry. The evidence isn’t perfection; it’s direction—honesty over spin, repentance over excuses, hunger for God’s word over hunger for the world’s approval. We press against the enemy’s favorite lie—“you still have time”—and counter it with the clarity of Scripture: death, then judgment; grace, then glory.

We also get practical. A prayer of surrender is a beginning, not a finish line. We point you toward a Bible-preaching, Spirit-filled church, rhythms of Scripture and repentance, and a community that keeps oil in your lamp when midnight hits. This is a call to live watchful and holy without panic or hype, to let the cross break what’s brittle and rebuild what’s true. We close with a sober hope: the door is still open, but the hinges are groaning. If your heart is pounding, that tug may be the Spirit saying, “Now.”

SPEAKER_00 (00:06):
Hey, welcome to Renewed Mindsets.
I'm Rick, and I'm so glad you'rehere.
Today's message is going to be alittle different.
We're not doing a whole lot ofteaching about anything
specific, but it's urgentbecause we're running out of
time.
The shaking has begun.

(00:27):
Eternity is no longer a distantthought.
It's standing at the door.
Every prophecy that Jesus gaveabout his return is echoing
across the earth right now.
Wars, rumors of wars, nationsrising against nations, love

(00:50):
growing cold, truth being tradedfor emotion, the stage is set
exactly as Jesus said it wouldbe.
When he spoke of the ten virginsin Matthew 25, he said that
while the bridegroom delayed, they all became drowsy and fell
asleep.
Five were wise and five werefoolish.

(01:13):
The difference wasn't in whatthey believed, it was in their
preparation.
The wise had oil in their lamps.
The foolis assumed there wouldbe time to get ready later.
People, later is over.
The midnight cry is here, thetrumpet is warming up.

(01:34):
Salvation is no longertheological discussion worthy.
It's a lifeline.
Salvation isn't a prayer thatyou repeat, it's a surrender
that you live.
It's not about raising a handonce, it's about laying down
your life daily.

(01:54):
Romans 10:9 says, if you confesswith your mouth that Jesus is
Lord and believe in your heartthat God raised him from the
dead, you will be saved.
But you gotta notice that beginswith Lordship.
Jesus as ruler, master, king.
You can't invite him into yourlife and still sit on the throne

(02:20):
yourself.
In a world where everybodyclaims to know God, true
salvation is marked bytransformation.
You used to lie, now you tellthe truth.
You used to run to sin, now yourun from it.
You used to crave the world, andnow you crave his word.

(02:52):
The evidence of salvation is notperfection, but direction.
Are you still moving toward him?
Or have you stopped at theconfession point and never
stepped into conversion?
The enemy's favorite lie isn'tthere's no God.

(03:15):
It's you still have time.
He doesn't need you to rejectChrist, he just needs you to
postpone him.
But the Bible says in Hebrews 927, it is appointed for man to
die once, and after that comesjudgment.
Yeah, no second chances, no timeextensions, no appeals.

(03:40):
We plan everything in life.
We plan our careers, vacations, retirement, but we never plan
for eternity.
People say, I'll get seriousabout God later.
But later never comes.
The Bible says today is the dayof salvation.

(04:01):
In Noah's day, the people sawthe ark being built for years,
like a hundred years.
But when the door shut, theircries came too late.
That's a picture of graceclosing.
Right now, the door is stillopen, but the hinges are

(04:21):
groaning, and the countdown isreal.
Grace is free, but it isn'tcheap.
It cost the blood of the Son ofGod.
He took every sin, every lie, every addiction, every secret,
and nailed it to a cross.

(04:43):
Isaiah 53, 5 says, He waspierced for our transgressions,
crushed for our iniquities.
The punishment that brought uspeace was on him.
You can't look at the cross andwalk away unchanged.
If salvation has truly touchedyou, it will break you before it

(05:04):
rebuilds you.
It will strip pride before itrestores peace.
Too many people want a savior, but not a Lord.
They want forgiveness, but notrepentance.
But Jesus never separated thetwo.
He said, If anyone wants tofollow me, let him deny himself,

(05:26):
take up his cross, and followme.
Following Jesus is not addinghim to your life.
No, it's surrendering your lifeto him.
Right now in the world, we'rewatching the great separation
that Jesus spoke of sheep andgoats, wheat and tares, true

(05:49):
believers and pretenders.
They will talk about God, butlive like the world.
That is the deception of thishour that we're living in.
To think religion will save youwhen only a relationship will.

(06:15):
Salvation is not found in churchattendance.
It's not found in baptismcertificates or social media
testimonies.
It's found in a heart that'sbeen washed in the blood of
Jesus.
If Christ returned tonight, would he recognize you as his
own?
Would he say, Well done, goodand faithful servant?

(06:37):
Or would he say, Depart from me?
I don't know you.
Revelation 22, twelve says,Behold, I am coming soon.
My reward is with me.
Jesus said that.
Soon does not mean someday.

(06:59):
It means suddenly.
The great tribulation, the markof the beast, the falling away,
it's not science fiction, it'snot fantasy, it's not stories in
an old book, it's prophecythat's being fulfilled as we
speak.

(07:20):
Salvation is not something thatyou fit into your schedule, it's
something that you surrenderyour schedule for.
Because once that door closes, once that trumpet sounds, it
will not open again.
The Bible says, as it was in thedays of Noah, so it will be in

(07:41):
the coming of the Son of Man.
People were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planning, and
then the flood came.
Life looked normal untiljudgment came suddenly.
And that's exactly how thisgeneration will be caught.

(08:02):
That's exactly how people whoare alive today are going to be
caught.
It's about to happen, people.
Right now, while breath fillsyour lungs, the invitation
stands.
Jesus is calling the weary, thebroken, the proud, and the

(08:25):
pretending.
He's calling the religious whohave never truly repented, and
the rebel who thinks he's gonetoo far.
There's room at the cross.
There's still time, but notmuch.
If you've wandered, come home.
If you've never surrendered, doit now.

(08:50):
And church people, if you arelukewarm, you better repent
before the fire falls.
Salvation isn't just escapinghell, it's embracing the one who
loved you enough to take yourplace.
Romans 10 13 says, Everyone whocalls on the name of the Lord

(09:10):
will be saved.
That includes you right now.
Now you've heard me say over andover and over, salvation is not
just a prayer that you speakonce, but you do speak it.
And then you keep going fromthere.

(09:32):
It's not only praying forsalvation, but it's repenting of
your sin.
It's getting involved with agroup of like-minded Christians
at a church.
I can't even speak sometimes.
I just get so fired up.
If you're fishing on Sunday byyourself and say, that's how I

(09:55):
worship God, you're not saved.
You're not.
You have to be with otherbelievers.
You have to feed off of eachother and support each other and
love each other.
If your heart is pounding rightnow, that's the conviction of

(10:19):
the Holy Spirit.
Don't ignore it.
Pray with me right now.
Father God, I confess that Ihave sinned against you.
I believe Jesus Christ is a Sonof God who died for me and rose
again.
I turn from my sin and surrendermy life to you.
Be my Lord and Savior.
Wash me clean.

(10:40):
Fill me with your Holy Spirit.
Help me to live ready for yourreturn in Jesus' precious name.
I pray.
Amen.
That's the first step.
You've got you've got to be bornagain.
You have to receive the HolySpirit for real.

(11:03):
You have to be an Acts chaptertwo Christian.
The Spirit enters you and itchanges you.
Read Acts chapter two.
That's what you have to havehappen.
That's why you need to get in anactive church, a full gospel,

(11:25):
Holy Ghost-filled church.
Friends, if you've prayed thatand meant it, you just stepped
out of darkness into light.
But this is only the beginning.
Open your Bible, open the Wordof God, find a Bible preaching

(11:46):
church, Holy Ghost filled.
Surround yourself with believerswho chase holiness, not hype,
not games.
The world is closing in.
The systems of the beast arealigning.
But so is the bride of Christ.
Don't waste another day chasingwhat's going to soon be burnt
