Speaker 1 (00:00):
The world is changing
and time is running out.
This is Renewed Mindsets, wherewe confront Biblical truth
head-on.
No sugarcoating, no compromise.
We expose false doctrine, reveal fulfilled prophecy and
shine light on the demonicdeception of these last days,
(00:21):
but we also stand firm on thehope of Christ's return, the
call to holiness and the urgencyof true salvation.
It's time to renew your mind, for the time is now.
Let's go, boys.
Hey, welcome to RenewedMindsets.
(00:54):
I'm Rick and I'm so glad you'rehere.
Today's episode is not for thelukewarm, it's not for the ear
scratchers or the ones stillhoping the gospel will make them
more successful or liked.
It's a warning for the remnant, because the word is clear
Before the Antichrist isrevealed, there will be a
falling away, a spiritualrebellion, a drifting that leads
(01:18):
many professing believersstraight into deception.
2 Thessalonians 2.3 says Let noone deceive you in any way, for
that day will not come unlessthe rebellion comes first and
the man of lawlessness isrevealed.
Now that word rebellion istranslated from the Greek
(01:44):
apostasia.
It doesn't mean atheism.
It doesn't mean people turningtheir back on religion
altogether.
It means many, many who claimedthe name of Jesus will abandon
the real truth of the gospel.
They'll trade it in, not fornothing, but for a lie.
That sounds nicer.
A doctrine that affirms sininstead of confronting it, a
(02:08):
Jesus who looks more likeculture than Christ Does that
sound familiar?
Make no mistake, this hasalready begun.
So if you're listening to thisepisode today, this is your call
Wake up, gear up, stay alert, because the great falling away
(02:28):
is not coming, it's already here.
Now let me make this crystalclear the falling away, it's not
about people leaving the churchbuilding.
It's not about backsliders whogo out partying on Saturday and
feel guilty on Sunday.
(02:49):
It's about those who remainwithin the church structure but
have allowed their hearts andminds to shift away from
biblical truth.
They still wear the label ofChristian, but they follow a
different Jesus, one who neverconfronts, never corrects, never
calls for holiness.
(03:09):
Matthew 7.21 says Not everyonewho calls out to me, lord, lord,
will enter the kingdom ofheaven, only those who actually
do the will of my Father inheaven.
This is terrifying, becauseJesus is not talking about
atheists.
He's talking about people whothought they were saved, who
(03:32):
were active in ministry andstill missed it.
Why?
Because they had norelationship with him.
No obedience, no submission, just spiritual lip service.
The falling away happens slowly.
First it's no longer callingsin sin.
(03:55):
Then it's Jesus would neverjudge anyone.
Then it's full-blown heresy,wrapped in emotionalism and
labeled as love.
Does that sound familiar?
The scariest part is, mostwon't even know.
They've drifted, becausedeception doesn't scream, it
(04:17):
whispers.
So you have to ask yourself isthe Jesus I'm following, the one
in Scripture or the one cultureinvented?
Now?
I'm going to say this asplainly as I can.
A lot of churches today lookmore like TED Talks with worship
music.
There's no power, there's notruth, just performance.
(04:41):
Pastors are preaching messagesdesigned to grow crowds, not
grow disciples.
They're scared to offend, they're afraid of backlash.
They're more concerned withbranding than boldness.
So they avoid the truth.
They evolve.
I'm just going to leave that Igot to get moving.
(05:03):
They avoid calling out sinright and they twist scriptures
to fit modern narratives.
Second Timothy 4.3 says For atime is coming when the people
will no longer listen to soundand wholesome teaching.
They will follow their owndesires and look for teachers
who will tell them whatevertheir itching ears want to hear.
(05:25):
That time is now.
People want comfort withoutconviction.
They want blessing withoutrepentance.
They want God's promiseswithout his commandments.
We've got entire denominationsopenly affirming what God calls
(05:45):
detestable.
Leaders are more focused onsocial justice than gospel truth
.
Churches are partnering withsecular ideologies and calling
it progress, and when truebelievers raise a voice of
concern, we're labeled divisiveor hateful or stuck in the past.
(06:08):
But the truth is never outdated.
Holiness is never optional andif the world celebrates your
message, you might not bepreaching the gospel.
The popular guy is not rightanymore.
The popular guy is not rightanymore.
There's a counterfeit spiritsweeping through modern churches
(06:28):
that feels like the Holy Spirit, but it's not.
It's emotionalism,no-transcript, and it's killing
true discipleship.
People are being taught tochase encounters instead of
truth, to look for signs insteadof studying scripture, and they
(06:50):
leave the church on Sundaymorning feeling something, but
they're not necessarilytransformed.
Hebrews 5, 13 and 14 says Forsomeone who lives on milk is
still an infant and doesn't knowhow to do what is right.
But solid food is for those whoare mature, who, through
training, have the skill torecognize the difference between
(07:13):
right and wrong.
Spiritual infants don't know.
They're being deceived becausethey've never been taught the
difference.
They confuse hype for holiness.
They confuse tears forrepentance.
This is a big one.
They confuse volume forauthority.
(07:34):
This is why you can't buildyour faith on feelings, because
the enemy can manipulateemotions.
Feelings, because the enemy canmanipulate emotions.
He can counterfeit spiritualexperiences, but he can't mimic
(07:55):
the word.
Rightly divided, lived out inobedience and tested by fire.
If the only time you feel closeto God is when the band is
playing your favorite song, you're not rooted, and in the
last days, only the rooted willremain.
So Revelation 17 paints apicture of a global religious
system, a seductive,compromising, counterfeit church
that rides the beast.
(08:15):
This isn't the bride of Christ,it's the harlot Beautiful on
the outside, corrupted on theinside.
It represents false unity, ablending of religions, values
and ideas that set the stage forthe Antichrist.
(08:35):
Look at the headlines today.
Watch what's happening globally.
Religious leaders are comingtogether in the name of peace
and tolerance.
They're building interfaithcenters and saying we all
worship the same God.
No, we do not.
John 14, 6 says for I am the way, the truth and the life.
(08:59):
No one comes to the Fatherexcept through me.
There is one name by which menare saved Jesus.
The world wants unity but nottruth.
They want peace but notrepentance.
They want religion but notChrist crucified.
The one world religion will notlook evil.
(09:21):
The one world religion will notlook evil.
It's going to look inclusive,it's going to promote kindness,
it's going to appeal to humannature, but it will require the
removal of Jesus as Lord, andwhen that happens, millions will
walk right into spiritual deathwith smiles on their faces,
(09:43):
thinking they found the truth.
That's how deep the deceptionwill go.
There's a price to pay forstanding in truth, and that
price is only going to rise inthe final days.
Jesus told us it would happen.
You will be hated by everyonebecause you are my followers,
(10:05):
but not a hair of your head willperish.
By standing firm, you will winyour souls.
That's Luke 21, 17-19.
Standing firm does not meanyou're going to be celebrated.
Standing firm means you mightlose friends.
You might be called judgmental, you might be unfollowed or
(10:26):
blocked or reported.
You might be passed over forjobs, silenced in meetings,
kicked out of spaces where youonce had influence.
You might be canceled.
But here's what you gainEternal life, intimacy with the
Father, unshakable peace, Acrown that no man can take.
(10:53):
This is the time for resolve, for courage, for firing your
bones that won't let youcompromise.
You're not called to fit in.
You're called to stand out.
(11:14):
So stand, even if you have todo it alone.
Faithfulness in the last dayswon't always look loud.
It won't always be on aplatform.
Sometimes it's quiet obediencewhen nobody's watching.
It's choosing truth whencompromise would be easier.
Jude 1, verse 3,.
(11:35):
I am urging you to defend thefaith that God has entrusted
once for all time to his holypeople.
Real faithfulness looks likeopening your Bible when others
are scrolling social media.
(11:56):
It looks like raising your kidin the Word even when the world
mocks it.
It looks like saying no to sin,not because it's popular, but
because it's right.
It looks like refusing to bendyour doctrine just to keep peace
.
It's being unshakable whenstorms hit.
It's being anchored when trendsshift.
(12:16):
It's knowing the voice of Godbecause you've walked with him
in secret In these end times.
Real faithfulness might not beglamorous, but it will be
powerful.
Real faithfulness might not beglamorous, but it will be
powerful.
It will shine in the darknessand it will endure to the very
(12:37):
end.
God has always preserved aremnant, from Noah's Ark to
Elijah's cave, from Daniel'sstand in Babylon to the
persecuted church today, therehave always been a few who
refuse to bow, and God alwaysuses the remnant to carry out
(12:59):
his plan.
So don't be discouraged if youfeel alone.
Don't be shaken when othersfall away.
The crowd is never the measureof truth.
The remnant is Even when youfeel unseen, even when it feels
(13:20):
like nobody else is standing.
God sees you and he strengthensthose who will not compromise.
Stay in the fire, stay in theword, stay in the posture of
prayer, because the ones whoendure will reign.
Paul didn't say to examine yourneighbor.
(13:40):
He didn't say to test yourpastor.
He said examine yourselves tosee if your faith is genuine.
2 Corinthians 13 5.
Ask yourself today is your walkbuilt on a real relationship
with Jesus or just a religiousroutine?
(14:01):
Do you know scripture or do youjust repeat sermons?
Are you more afraid ofoffending people than grieving
God?
This is a serious hour, people, and it demands a serious church
.
Jesus is coming back for abride without spot or wrinkle,
(14:22):
not a crowd of lukewarmattendees.
So today, renew your mind, Letthe word search your heart,
repent where it's needed.
Strengthen what remains andtake your stand now, because
this is the hour to draw theline.
(14:42):
Not tomorrow, not when thingsget worse, but now.
If you've been drifting, comeback.
If you've been compromising,repent.
If you've been silent, speak.
You were made for this moment.
God chose you to be alive, now,at the edge of time, not to fit
(15:07):
in, not to run scared, but tostand fast.
So do it.
Do it for your soul, do it foryour family, do it for his glory
.
Stand fast, you've got this.
