Today.
We're going to talk aboutsomething that's been burning in
my spirit.
We are living in perilous timesthe last days the Bible warned
us about.
Now, this isn't just somedramatic headline to catch your

attention.
This is the reality that we'rewalking in, that we're living in
every day, and I need to warnyou.
I'm not here to tickle earstoday.
I'm here to sound the alarm.
So buckle in, open your Bibleand let's let the Holy Spirit
convict not just our culture butus.

So let's just start today withScripture.
Let's begin in 2 Timothy 3,verses 1-5.
Paul told Timothy but know thisthat in the last days, perilous
times will come.
Lovers of themselves, lovers ofmoney, blasphemers, unholy
lovers of pleasure rather thanlovers of God, having a form of

godliness but denying its power.
From such people turn away.
Do you realize what we'rewitnessing?
We're not just in troubledtimes, we're in a time where
darkness is called light andwickedness is cloaked in
religion.
Everybody claims Jesus, butnobody wants to look like him.

(02:35):
We live in a generation wheresinners rebuke the church, where
people who don't know scripture, never preached a message,
never laid hands on the sick,never ministered deliverance,
will get online and tellseasoned men and women of God
how to do ministry, and they'llsay it while puffing on a

(02:56):
cigarette, shouting Jesusbetween cuss words.
They've redefined Christianityto be whatever fits their
lifestyle, but the Bible hasn'tchanged.
God hasn't lowered his standard.
He's still holy and he's stillcalling us to be holy.
Now we're not just dealing withrebellious sinners who don't

(03:20):
know God.
We're dealing with the spiritof religion.
That's even more dangerousbecause these people think
they're saved.
They say I'm a believer, butthey live like the devil.
They wear the name tag ofChristianity but they walk in
disobedience.
They say grace, but they meanlicense to sin.

Now Paul said in 2 Timothy 3.8,licensed to sin.
Now Paul said in 2 Timothy 3.8,now as Janice and Jambre
resisted Moses, so do these alsoresist the truth.
Men of corrupt minds,disapproved concerning of the
faith.
Did you catch that?
These people aren't justconfused, they're resistant.
They actively fight againsttruth, they oppose holiness,

they hate conviction, they mockobedience and they slander
preachers who still believe inliving set apart.
It's the same spirit that cameup against Moses.
It's the same spirit that triedto stop Jesus, and now it's at
work in our churches, behindpulpits, in our homes and even

in our own hearts, if we're notcareful.
All right, y'all sit down.
Let's talk about the Americanversion of Christianity.
It's not the gospel, it's acounterfeit.
The standard has become so lowyou can barely trip over it, and
most American Christians don'tcall themselves saints anymore.

(04:50):
They proudly say I'm just asinner saved by grace.
As an excuse to stay in sin,you go out into the streets and
you ask somebody if they're abeliever and you'll hear oh yeah
, I believe in Jesus.
But then you listen to the life.
You listen to their life, theirmouth, their attitude, their

(05:11):
weekend plans and you see zerofruit.
Jesus said you'll know them bytheir fruit, not their hashtags,
not their playlists, not theironce a week church attendance.
We're dealing now with religiousrebels, people who honestly
believe that they're right withGod, all while walking in full

(05:32):
rebellion to his word.
They say things like hell ishateful.
Being holy is legalism.
Obedience is judgmentalJudgmentalism.
Obedience is judgmental.
Conviction is oppression.
And preachers like me.
We're dangerous because wewon't water it down.
But here's what it says inIsaiah, chapter 5, verse 20 says

(05:55):
Woe to those who call evil goodand good evil, who put darkness
for light and light fordarkness.
Woe to those.
That means judgment is comingfor those who flipped God's word
upside down.
People, judgment is here.
This isn't something that's onthe way, it's already here.

(06:19):
You can see it.
Our children are confused abouttheir identity.
Our churches are more worriedabout attendance than repentance
.
Our pastors are quiet on sin,but they're loud on tithes.
Our gospel is motivationalinstead of transformational.
The perilous times in the Bibleare here, and here's what I want

(06:39):
to say.
If you're a believer who'sawake right now, you're not
crazy, you're not being toointense, you're not doing too
much.
People tell me, rick, you don'tneed to do all that.
Just love people and I tellthem I do all this because I do
love people.
If your house is on fire, I'mnot handing you a scented candle

(07:02):
and telling you that it's allgood.
I'm kicking in the door and I'myelling wake up.
We're in the last days.
You've got to stop playinggames with your soul.
You've got to stop excusing thecompromise.
It's time to come out fromamong them and be separate.

(07:24):
Let me end here by talking tothe remnant.
I know some of you are tired.
You feel outnumbered.
You feel mocked, misunderstood,even by other so-called
Christians.
But don't stop.
Don't water it down, don'tconform.
You were born for this time.

(07:46):
You were called to carry thefire.
You were chosen to be a voicein the wilderness.
Not everybody's going to listen, but someone will.
The Bible says from such peopleturn away.
You don't need validation fromlukewarm believers.
You don't need a platform tospeak the truth.

(08:07):
Just keep standing, keeppreaching, keep living holy,
because Jesus is coming back andhe's not coming for a
compromised bride, he's comingfor a spotless one.
I need every one of you in theremnant to share this episode
with somebody that you know thatneeds it, because there's so

many churchgoers playing gamesheaded straight for hell and
it's up to you to change theirminds.
