Claire serves as the Founder and Principal Attorney at Barber Law. Claire has devoted the entirety of her career to real estate, mortgage lending, and consumer finance law. Throughout her time in practice, Claire has advised clients in the financial services industry on issues affecting mortgage lending, including state and federal regulatory compliance. Claire also regularly advises clients in the real estate finance industry on day-to-day operations as well as corporate formation and internal governance.
Claire has many professional memberships, appointments, affiliations, and certifications. She was recently appointed by the Texas State Legislature to the Texas Work Group on Blockchain Matters.
In her free time, Claire enjoys gardening, exploring Houston’s food scene with her husband, and taking walks with her dog, Buzz.
