Chris Watts - One Year Later - The Aftermath

This week marks the one year anniversary of a heinous crime that shook the nation and still captivates the public. The Watts family homicides occurred in the early morning of August 13, 2018. When Christopher watts was finished, his wife Shanann Watts, their two girls, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3 as well as their unborn son who was to be named Niko, would all be dead. The public’s fascination with the case has only grown since the events happened. 
Dave Baumhover, the lead detective for Frederick Police on the Christopher Watts' case, recently sat down for an interview with the Denver Post. He was very candid in regards to his Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that he has endured after working on the Watts case and how it has affected him. The devastation of the Watts Murders reached many. Colorado Bureau of Investigation agent Tammy Lee discussed the difficulties in witnessing the recovery of the bodies. 
When horrible crimes like these are committed their toll stretches to many. In this episode, Awen Rees and I discuss what life looks like for some of the detectives and investigators one year after the Watts Murders.
