During my teenage years, myparents went through a painful
divorce and I found solace infood.
Loneliness and pain and the needfor comfort drove me to rely on
(05:44):
food as a source of love andsecurity.

I developed an unhealthyrelationship with food,
oscillating between restrictionand binge eating, plagued by
feelings of shame and neverfeeling good enough.
My path towards healing trulybegan when I immersed myself in
(06:04):
Asian cultures, particularly inIndia where I delved into
Eastern mysticism and Ayurvedicmedicine.
Despite this profound journey,my struggle with food persisted
and I battled with sadness anddepression.
Driven by my personal healthstruggles with chronic fatigue
syndrome, Hashimoto'sthyroiditis, polycystic ovarian
syndrome, insulin resistance andobesity, and a delusionment with
(06:28):
Western medicine due to theinappropriate care and dangerous
prescriptions that had awfulside effects, I embarked on a
quest to study traditionalChinese medicine, metropathy and
various health relateddisciplines across the globe.
I spent time studying inGuangzhou, China, and this was
an incredible opportunity to seeancient medicine used alongside
(06:49):
modern ways.
These years of deep learning andself discovery and personal
development in overcoming my ownchallenges have led me to a
profound realisation.
We cannot separate thepsychological from the physical.
As women, our health isintrinsically connected to our

Everything impacts our biology, our social circumstances, our
biochemical circumstances, andhow we feel about ourselves and
our surroundings.
I now understand that the mosteffective path to vibrancy is
through healing, sealing, andrepairing your waistline, energy
levels, sleep.

to learn from my program.
Willpower is absolutely a losinggame and brings on so much shame
when we feel like we havefailed.
Willpower is absolutely a losinggame.
We need to stay satiated.
(11:55):
We need to learn how to becomemetabolically flexible.
We need to balance our hungerhormones, leptin and ghrelin.
We need to balance our cortisoland melatonin, and we need to
have enough fiber in ourgastrointestinal tracts to send
the message to our brain that weare full and satiated.
(12:15):
This is really an effortlessapproach to reignite your
metabolic function and reverseexhaustion and ill health.
So many of the women in myprograms tell me that initially
change.
Seems so complex and confusing, but once they actually got to
doing it and following the powerplan, they couldn't believe how
(12:38):
easy it was to integrate mypower plan into their lives.
I teach you how to becomeunconsciously competent with
regards to the power plan I havecreated for you, and we will get
all of this working for you inas little as eight weeks before
we get to the answers, I wouldlove you to do 2 things.
(12:59):
I would love you to make surethat your sound is turned on.
And I would love for you to havea pen and paper handy to take
notes because part of what I'mgoing to teach you today is
going to help you solve yoursluggish metabolism and your
stubborn body fat, particularlyaround the middle.
Perimenopause is a tricky time.
It can be a hormonalrollercoaster and there has
(13:20):
never been a time in your lifethat Where you have been more
inflamed with less energy due tothe energy crisis and a decrease
in progesterone.
We're going to get into all ofthis and we're going to get into
why your brain no longer usesglucose in a way that it once
did.
Not quite right.
(13:42):
Does something feel a littleNQR?
Does any of this ring true foryou?
It seems like something might befeeling a little off or not
quite right, and you're unsureof the cause or what it could
be.
Even though you've been toldthat everything is fine and that
your test results are normal, deep down you know that
something is not quite right.
(14:02):
Something is not in alignment.
It's possible that you'reexperiencing perimenopause, a
phase that can bring about thesechanges.
If you find yourself strugglingwith dwindling energy levels,
difficulty sleeping, anxiety, challenges reaching your ideal
weight, despite not making anysignificant changes to your diet
(14:22):
or exercise routine, you startto increase the weight around
the middle and it just seems toget bigger and bigger.
It's understandable that yourcurrent physical state may have
left you feeling a little bitless confident.
Combined with hormonalimbalances and a sense of being
restricted by various diets, youmay be yearning for a path to
rejuvenate your life.
(14:44):
You deserve to regain controlover your diet, energy,
hormones, and your life withoutthe constraints of restrictive
diets.
It's time to reach a state ofwell being that allows you to
feel confident and empoweredonce again.
If you're ready, let's embark onthis transformational journey
together.
If you've been trying reallyhard to watch what you eat most
(15:05):
days.
And most days you just end upeating kind of diet food or a
little bit of yogurt and somefruit and nuts for a snack, and
you just try to stick to saladsand protein at night but nothing
is shifting.
You're petrified of going onholiday or going to family
dinners or work trips or anyother situation where food is
out of your control.
(15:26):
Or you do pretty well for acouple of days, but then you
completely fall off the railsand you're starving because you
haven't really eaten at theright time or in the right way
to support your biochemistry.
And it really does feel likeyour biochemistry is working
against you and not for you.
You feel disappointment, shame, frustration about your repeated
(15:47):
weight loss failures.
You know that you shouldexercise, but you're so
exhausted and unmotivated.
Let's get you back on track.
None of this is normal justbecause it's common.
It isn't normal.
None of this is a goodrelationship with food,
exercise, or your beautifulbody.
This program absolutely is foryou if you have anywhere between
(16:10):
10 and 20 kilograms of stuckbody fat that you would like to
lose forever.
You feel too tired and exhaustedevery day to exercise or to eat
right.
You have absolutely no willpowerand you want to permanently drop
at least two pants sizes and fitinto your old wardrobe and not
to have to go out and buy a newone.
(16:35):
The repair program could be anideal fit for you if...
you are ready to invest inyourself and your
transformation.
You are interested in adopting aholistic approach to your
perimenopausal biochemistry,psychology, and social
experience without the necessityof counting calories or strictly
(16:55):
measuring your macros andmicros.
You are ready to adopt apositive mindset.
Emphasising self love andempathy towards yourself and
others in your journey.
You appreciate the value ofoccasional indulgences and
understand they do not equate tofailures, but are part of a
balanced life.
You aim to nourish your bodywith a full range of macro and
(17:17):
micronutrients, rejecting theidea of deprivation.
Your goals extend beyond justweight loss, encompassing
overall vitality, hormone healthand long term wellness.
You believe in the process andare open to experiencing its
potential benefits.
You embrace a compassionateapproach towards yourself, your
coach, your peers, fostering anenvironment of love, kindness,
(17:41):
and patience.
you're open to guidance andwilling to be coached, seeing
this as a constructive part ofyour journey.
You are patient and do notexpect instantaneous results,
understanding that sustainablechange is a gradual process.
By aligning with theseprinciples, you are setting
yourself up for a positiveexperience with the repair
(18:03):
program, leading to potentiallytransformative results in your
overall health and well being.
The Repair program may not besuitable for you if you prefer
to count calories or focus onmeasuring macros and micros,
you're inclined to beovercritical and hard on
yourself and others.
You view occasional indulgencesas failures.
(18:27):
You have a desire to depriveyourself of essential macro and
micro nutrients.
Your primary focus is solely onweight loss rather than overall
vitality and hormone health.
You are not open to the processand don't believe in its
effectiveness.
You struggle with approachingthe program and your coach and
fellow sisters with love, kindness and patience.
(18:49):
You are not open to beingcoached and guided and you
expect an overnight success.
It is so important to find aprogram that aligns with your
goals and values.
If this program is not for you,I wish you well on your journey.
My vision for creating thisprogram My vision for creating
(19:11):
this program stems from apersonal journey that resonates
deeply with the challenges facedby perimenopausal women.
I've struggled with symptoms anddiseases such as thyroid issues,
autoimmune conditions andinsulin resistance, which led to
weight gain and feeling of beingtrapped in a fat storing state.
These experiences mirror whatcountless women experience
(19:32):
during perimenopause, soclinically I recognised them
straight away.
No matter what I did, itwouldn't change.
I've tried it all, I promiseyou.
Breaking free from industrymisconceptions.
The industry bombards us withfad diets, special lotions,
potions, and the promises ofquick fixes.
We're made to believe thatrestrictive eating, excessive
(19:54):
exercise, and following specialmenus will lead to success.
But how many times have we triedthese approaches, only to be
left disappointed?
It's time to break free fromthese misconceptions and
discover what truly works.
When I was at university, one ofmy professors said to me, Be the
practitioner that you needed.
This was some of the best advicethat I have ever received.
(20:17):
Becoming the practitioner that Ineeded as a little girl.
I'm passionate about empoweringand educating women so that they
can understand how to work withtheir biochemistry rather than
against it.
Rest assured, my program is notsome flimsy superficial
approach.
It is grounded in hardcorescientific evidence and
randomised control trials, with23 years of clinical practice
(20:41):
and the success stories ofnumerous women.
Please have a look at theincredible testimonials on my
Wall of Love at www.
thehollandclinic.
com.
I know it works.
I bring this expertise to younow, extending an invitation to
embark on a transformativejourney together.
Let me be clear, this is not aneasy path.
(21:03):
There are no quick fixes orsilver bullets.
I'm not reinventing the wheel,I'm simply making it work.
Just as I have put in years ofdedicated work, you must be
willing to invest effort intothis program to achieve the
results you desire.
While the information may seemcomplex, you don't need a PhD to
understand it.
I'm here to translate thescientific evidence into
(21:24):
practical knowledge for you.
Additionally, I firmly believein the inseparability of the
mind and the body.
Understanding how stress andlife experiences impact your
hormones and overall well beingis crucial.
This is where the integration ofhealth coaching and life
coaching becomes invaluable.
Fostering a strong andsupportive relationship between
(21:44):
you and I.
I genuinely care about mypatients and their
transformations.
I want each woman to receive thecare and attention she deserves,
especially when she may feelunheard or gaslit by the medical
system.
By creating this program, I aimto fill the gap, providing the
testing, care and support thatis essential for optimal well
(22:05):
being.
Your journey towards reclaimingyour health begins here.
Together, we will navigate thechallenges, uncover the
solutions and empower you toexperience the transformation
you so desperately deserve.
Too busy to prepare nourishingfood.
Too tired to even think aboutwhat to repair.
(22:27):
Too tired to exercise, eventhough you know that you should.
Have there been times whereyou've bowed out of social
occasions or events or partiesbecause you were worried about
what you were going to eat orhow you look?
Or the fact that nothing in yourwardrobe looks good or feels
good anymore?
Or you were worried about thefact that pictures might be
taken?
Are there days when you're sador ashamed or surprised by how
(22:50):
you look and feel?
Does it seem like you've notlost sight of that energetic,
adventurous, beautiful, freeperson that you once were in
your body?
Are there days where you shameyourself for rummaging through
the pantry for sweet or crunchysnacks, even though you're
trying to be losing weight?
Does it even seem like you haveabsolutely no willpower and
you're destined to be stuck atthis weight forever?
(23:12):
Even though you don't recogniseyourself.
And you've had this middlebanding for far too long, and it
just seems to be getting biggerand bigger.
Are you tired of living yourlife on a diet, or thinking
about which one to try next?
And you just want to eatnormally.
Have there been times whenyou've succumbed to mindless
eating, and joylessly punishingyourself in the gym, or deprived
yourself to make up for it?
(23:33):
You no longer trust your bodyanymore.
It has changed.
And this is absolutely not yourfault.
There is a very real energycrisis in perimenopause.
Your brain, due to thefluctuating and low estrogen, no
longer uses glucose in a waythat it once did.
We must teach you how to becomemetabolically flexible so that
you can regain your health onceagain.
(23:57):
In perimenopause, we need tobecome metabolically flexible.
We need to become metabolicallyflexible in order for us to
unstuck our broken metabolism.
We need to be able to use analternative fuel source to
support our brain and body.
We need to be able to useglucose and fat as fuel.
(24:18):
Waking up early to absolutelysmash yourself in the gym and
depriving yourself of thecalories that you so desperately
need.
Only makes this problem worsewhen you are in a fat store,
particularly when you haveinsulin resistance.
It is absolutely impossible tolose weight until you correct
the insulin resistance.
(24:41):
Our bodies in perimenopause andparticularly our brains need to
access ketones for fuel.
Some of the time extending yourovernight fast from 8 to 12
hours can be enough forstarters.
We need to be metabolicallyflexible, strict dieting and
extreme exercise duringperimenopause contribute to your
(25:03):
body's confusion.
When we are in a fat store asopposed to a fat burn state,
your body doesn't actually knowwhat to do with the fuel you eat
and isn't able to give it to youso that you feel energy.
What your body does is continueto store the fuel.
When we are not metabolicallyflexible in perimenopause and we
(25:25):
have things like insulinresistance or underactive
thyroids, we feel extremelyexhausted.
We are in an energy crisis a lotof the time during
perimenopause.
No wonder we feel so lousy.
In addition, we have agingparents or teenage children,
possibly big careers.
We have lots going on.
So we also have high levels ofcortisol.
(25:47):
High levels of cortisol andinsulin resistance will ensure
that we stack on the weightaround the middle, and it'll
just continue to get bigger andbigger.
You will continue to feel tiredand hungry, and you will crave
junk food just to get youthrough.
You'll try to do your best toeat a beautiful, healthy meal,
but because you're metabolicallyinflexible, your cells won't be
(26:09):
able to actually achieve orreceive that fuel.
The fuel will go straight intostorage because you're in a fat
store as opposed to a fat burnstate, and you will go back to
feeling tired and hungry.
And generally, if you have aninsulin resistance, you crave
sweet things after your meals.
You can often see skin tags onyour body and hard, thick,
(26:30):
crusty, yellow skin underneathyour feet.
If this is you, my repairprogram is here to help you
transform.
The good news is that I teachwomen to fast in a supported way
to rescue them from the energycrisis in perimenopause.
You won't be hungry, and themessage that you are sending to
your brain and your body is thatyou are receiving breakfast,
(26:52):
keeping stress hormones incheck.
I have looked at all of theevidence and have created this
incredible program just for you.
Imagine your body is like a car,and it usually runs on gasoline,
which is like glucose, butsometimes you don't have any gas
in your tank, so you're fastingor restricting carbs, for
example, so your body switchesto a different fuel source,
(27:14):
stored fat.
When your body burns fat, itcreates something called
ketones, which are like superfuel for your brain and body in
perimenopause.
The study that I looked at showshow fasting and ketones can be
good for your health, like howeating fruits and veggies are
good for you.
But don't worry, you don't haveto give up on the pizza forever,
and this is not a ketogenicdiet.
(27:36):
Just remember that sometimesit's good to give your body a
break, and let it use its ownstored energy instead.
The title of the study isFasting, Molecular Mechanisms
and Clinical Applications,authors Fung J.
et al.
Journal Cell Metabolism, 2016You will not be hungry.
(28:01):
I have personally guidedhundreds of women through my
program in the last 23 years inclinical practice in Melbourne,
Australia.
My program is not restrictive.
You will not be hungry.
I will teach you to get into afat burn as opposed to a fat
store state and you are going togrow wings, my friend.
(28:22):
Conventional restricting andconventional diet approaches do
not work.
for perimenopausal biochemistry.
With my program, you will besatiated.
We will balance leptin andghrelin.
Ghrelin is the hormone thatmakes you pick up your fork and
leptin is the hormone that makesyou put it down.
When leptin and ghrelin arebalanced, you have true hunger
(28:44):
and true satiated signals, soyou won't succumb to mindless
boredom snacking.
You will have a nutrient dense, rich blood supply that supports
your body, your mind, and yourbrain.
And you won't be binging onsugary carb junk foods to get
you the energy that you require.
We will get you into thisincredible fat burn state where
(29:06):
your brain will access the fuelthat it needs.
The brain fog will disappear andthe fat will start to melt away.
And you can once again feel likeyou have incredible energy
levels.
to get you through the day andyou can start fitting back into
those clothes that you so lovevery much.
And this allows you to have asustainable, slow weight loss.
(29:27):
Reduction in body weight andbody fat.
I'm really not concerned aboutthe weight on the scales.
I really am more concerned aboutyour hip to waist ratio.
And I teach you exactly how tomeasure that inside my VIP
vitality green room.
And we look at how you feel inyour clothing.
But remember, this is asustainable weight loss program
(29:49):
that will keep you vital for therest of your days.
And this is not about dieting orcrash dieting your way to
temporary fat loss to get aquick win.
This is a lifestyle modificationand I'm here to tell you that it
is simple.
Once you understand how itworks, no miserable or fussy
dieting or crazy exercise.
(30:10):
I absolutely know that thisworks because I've supported so
many women in my clinic inMelbourne, Australia over the
last 23 years, and I myself liveby my protocol.
I live in the 80 20 way.
Every now and then, I'll finetune it, and I'll do it for 100%
of the time for a couple ofweeks.
For example, when you've had acouple extra treats over the
(30:32):
Christmas holidays?
But it is a proven roadmap thatworks.
And it hasn't always been thisway for me.
I am now 47 years old.
And I'm somewhere between a size8 and a size 10, depending on
which country you're in.
Like I said before, I'm inMelbourne, Australia, and I feel
comfortable in my own skin, andI have incredible energy levels
(30:54):
that get me through the day andthe night.
I have an incredible life, andthis protocol certainly works.
I'm somebody that had insulinresistance, metabolic syndrome,
Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Iwas obese and had cystic acne
and I now live an incrediblybeautiful life with a gorgeous
relationship with food, eventhough I'm a recovering food
(31:14):
addict.
I hear women so often in myclinic in Melbourne, Australia
say that they have triedabsolutely everything.
So if this is you, if you havetried every pill, potion, hack,
punishment and program, and youhave tried exercising even more,
If you've tried exhibiting greatfeats of willpower, and if
(31:35):
you've tried to restrict foodeven more, even though you were
so very hungry.
And if you have tried all thetips and the tricks that used to
work for you in your twenties, and nothing is working for you
now.
this program is most definitelyfor you.
I'm also here to tell you thatyou have not tried everything.
(31:56):
What do you receive when youjoin Repair?
There is a group component andthere's a 1:1 component.
There are 4 fortnightly onlinegroup coaching, mentoring,
training, and Q& As withinformative slides and well
researched curriculum with me,Dr.
