How can I be gay and a Christian???
That's the question we answer with our guest this week.
In this episode of Resilience In Action with Erin Brown, we chat with Andy Wells, author of the book "Tried to Be Straight - Options for Gay Christians" Andy has a masters degree in Christian Apologetics which is the art of defending and explaining the faith of Christianity. He answers some really tough questions and provides us with a perspective on same sex attraction and Christianity that really makes you think. Andy shares his story of struggling with being Christian and a gay man - it wasn't until his mid-late 30s that he was able to look himself in the mirror and acknowledge that he was in fact a gay man. A true story of self-acceptance and grace. This conversation is one that I believe is needed at the moment.
Please - enter this space with open ears and an open heart.
If for some reason you feel the need to be rude - DON'T!
Get ready to dive into what Resilience In Action means to Andy.
