Welcome to the podcast: I'm Nyx or Resonant Moon, your friendly Enby Tarot Reader, and we are covering this week's tarot pull that I do in conjunction with the Witch Daily Show Podcast

My Deck: The Crow Tarot by MJ Cullinane

Weekly Reading:

Sunday 12/3: 7 of Pentacles - Tis the season of all the ads to buy this, finance that. 7 of Pentacles encourages you to keep your nest egg safe. Just because the Shiny thing is there, doesn’t mean you NEED to spend your resources on it. Remember that you still have needs that must be met.

Monday 12/4: Ace of Cups - A beautiful awakening is happening in your spirit. If everything seems more vivid and enjoyable, bask in it. Take a few moments through the day to appreciate the little things. Sounds, touch, taste, smells, and sights that make your heart happy should be noted, and maybe saved for a day when you don’t feel as bright as you do today.

Tuesday 12/5: Page of Wands - This exuberant messenger has a lot to say. Good things, appreciative things. It’s a little infectious. Even the most humbug person might capture just a bit of that warmth and enthusiasm. So, are you the Page? Or do you know the Page? If so, might be good to spend a bit of time with them.

Wednesday 12/6: King of Wands - A Strong and eternally Wise person who wants to get a creative project done. Not half done, not ¾ done, but completely done. It will make you call on your reserves to finish this project, but trust that you will be greatly satisfied with the result if you don’t cut corners.

Thursday 12/7: Queen of Pentacles - This sweet bird is going to light a fire under you. You need to take care of yourself, your house, your project. With kind but firm words she encourages you to keep up the King of Wands energy. While most pentacles speak to material issues, This Queen asks you to trust the process. It’s all coming to fruition, but you’re the only one who can set the goal.

Friday 12/8: 5 of Pentacles - If you’re feeling a bit lost today in the mire of materialism, and holiday overwhelm, this card encourages you to take stock of what you have. Who is in your corner, what’s already in your pantry. Try to accept that spirit will take care of you as long as you ask for help.

Saturday 12/9: The Devil XV - Another reminder to beware of addictions. This time of excess is so tempting to fall into habits that can destroy you oh so sweetly. Be mindful of your habits. Are they hurting you, or the ones around you. Is someone in your orbit dealing with addictions like, spending, overworking, gambling, substance abuse. Make sure to ask for help if you need it. Or have resources ready for those around you who are dealing with this difficult inner battle.

Summary:

I’ve always found the holidays to be incredibly stressful, between the ads for buying this, that, and the other thing. So many confectionary delights abound, which can be detrimental to our health if we don’t practice moderation. This week, I’d like to challenge you to be creative in your time. There’s nothing saying your holiday cheer can’t come from watching a fun movie and making hand made gifts for people if you do gift giving. Maybe you take spirit and do something nice for the community to spread some warmth during this cold season in the Northern Hemisphere. At times all you need to do to make your loved ones feel good is to show up. And showing up can mean a lot, especially for someone who is dealing with the influences of addiction.
