In this episode I have the opportunity to sit down with my great friends and fraternity brothers Josh (@CobbUnplugged) and Billy (@Yozefu_Umubaji).
Friendships are already hard; but even harder when you mix it with patriarchal masculinity. Billy, Josh, and myself discuss the way in which patriarchal masculinity influences the way that we connect with other men and masculine folks.
As we are socialized into 'rigid' definitions of masculinity and manhood, we realized that the pathways for connecting with other men and masculine folks are usually through sex, sports, or politics. We've found it hard often to connect, when those topics aren't at the center.
I hope that you enjoy this honest, and transparent episode! Let us know what you think!
