Today’s guest is Wyatt Graves!  

Wyatt grew up in Louisiana with a younger sister and a half brother.  Money was tight and his family struggled to make ends meet.  The stress of living paycheck to paycheck created a strong desire in Wyatt to become a successful businessman, so he wouldn’t have to worry about money again.  When his mother was able to open her own business, it provided a financial cushion for the first time and changed Wyatt’s life. 

Wyatt focused on going to college, earned a scholarship and graduated with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Management and began selling real estate. In 2008, after the mortgage and real estate meltdown and following recession, Wyatt went bankrupt and had to start over.  In 2016, his town flooded and over 100,000 homes were lost, including his personal home.   During this time, Wyatt had been learning from some great teachers in the art of goal setting, of starting at the desired ending and reverse engineering his way to the beginning so he could make a plan to achieve his goals.  

He learned that winning at key relationships and having the time to do it was more important to him than the rat race he’d been on.  He started “Kaizen Home Sales and Service” to teach people to sell real estate, while continuing to invest in real estate personally and build businesses, and he’s the host of “The Mentee” podcast.
