Speaker 1 (00:06):
There are kids in this world who are different.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Special special specials.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
So here are these kids out of there somewhere you're
host before?
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Why is it always six minute?
Speaker 1 (00:29):
In this episode, I'll be breaking down the latest episode,
a six minute season four piece by piece. Hey, listeners,
it's landing here today. We are talking about episode four
d eight of six Months, season four. So sometimes while
(00:51):
doing recordings, there's just a lot of technical problems that
go on, uh, And so I'm just going to be
sharing my you know, thoughts about the episode overall, and
then I'm gonna be playing some clips from the episode,
some of my favorite clips, and then I'll have my
good friend Sammy, who's been on the podcast before, share
their thoughts. So firstly, overall, I thought this episode was
(01:16):
really great, and you know, there's a lot that was
conveyed in this episode, and I think it was really interesting.
As we all know, you know, Monica is considering not considering,
has decided to basically save Adelaide. There's a lot to
that because we don't exactly know the consequences of that, right,
whether or not you know that means losing holiday And yeah,
(01:39):
I mean I think it's super interesting for sure, But
to see, you know, James come to Monica's aid, you know,
the way he did. Here's the clip I was talking about.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
You made me want to be a better person. I
didn't need you to be better James. No, you accepted
me for who I was, questionable decisions and all. So
while I don't understand all of this, I accept you
and love you for trying to help like you always do.
(02:12):
And if anyone is going to figure this out, it's you.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Also, you know, I want to talk about, you know,
some theories that have been going around. We could see
sort of back to the beginning because Holiday is wiped
from existence. We basically see the consequences of that revisiting
the first episode of six Minutes on the whale watching tour,
except you know, when Bertie falls in the water, she
(02:39):
doesn't see another kid out there. She's you know, stranded
in the water. So really we see the consequences of
that in that you know, Holiday no longer exists. Here's
the clip I was talking about.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
What you're suggesting is that you want to save Adelaide,
doctor a What if you save Adelaide and.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Then we lose Holiday?
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Also in this episode, I think it was so great
to hear. You know, River and Sam get along in
such a great way, and you know, explore the island
kind of like you know Holiday and season two in
that you know, she had ridden the gazelles, and so
we're almost seeing a repeat of that in a sort
of in a sort of way, which I think is great. Also,
Holiday and you know, Jude showed up at the island,
(03:32):
which you know, I thought was really interesting in that,
you know, we're kind of rallying everyone to the island.
And also Bertie, Badger, and presumably Adam are still back
in Alaska, which I think is an interesting choice having
Adam so far away from Jude, even though you know
Adam is trying to get to Jude and really make
him pay in a sort of way. Here's the clip
(03:53):
I was talking about.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
What about Bertie? Is she here too? I asked her
to hang back with Badger. I just want to talk.
Oh what's that another line? Sorry to disappoint judge me,
I told you to wait by the huts.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Also, Guenever Fontaine was brought up in this episode, and
you know, I don't necessarily agree with the theory that
Brittany is young Guenevere because there's just a lot of
continuity issues to that, and you know, I don't think
it makes sense in the six minutes timeline as well,
and you know, it really changes everything we know about Brittany.
And the other thing to that scene is, of course
(04:34):
we learned we're heading back to Alixir Key. Here's the
clip I was talking about.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
We've got to get out of here before doctor Whittier
and his goons come after us.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
But where can we go.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
We'll need access to medicine and tech and Elixir Key.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
It exists now.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Pretty sure.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
I remember reading a stone on the building. Guenevere Fontaine
founded it in nineteen eighty nine.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
I also really loved the dynamics between Sam and Holiday
in this episode, and you know what, it really surprised
me because they related in a way that you know,
we haven't really seen before. And there's a lot Sam
can take from a holiday, right, you know, they have
a lot of similar experiences. Here's the clip I was
talking about.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
She really is the most amazing woman I've ever known.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
There was a reason I chose to be found by her,
by the Anders family.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
The world is a better place for having them in it.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Jess Jessica Fisher. We had an interview together a while back,
and she mentioned she'd like to see, you know, two
of the same person talking to each other. And you know,
we saw something similar when Jude talked to doctor Whittier.
So I think it's really great. All right, I hope
you guys enjoyed those clips. Now I'm gonna hand on
the episode on over to Sammy, who's been on the
podcast before, and Sammy's gonna share some of their thoughts.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Landon had just reached out to me asking if I
could share my thoughts, and my first thought was, where
the neck is my goat Adam? If you don't already know,
I'm a pretty big Adam fan. But that's besides the point.
Last time we heard him, he had pushed Jude off
a helicopter into the deep ocean. Very very bold of him,
(06:35):
I must say, you know, I was expecting to hear
him in the next episode. No, maybe we might hear
him in the next episode. No show, And it was
like that for the next few weeks. But I do
have some sort of theory or idea as to what
Adam would we doing. He could be traveling back to
with your corp on the helicopter and planning something real
(06:56):
sinister with his clones and whatnot. I mean, why wouldn't
he after hearing about Brindley actually being adopted, he immediately
had the thought that Brindley could possibly may or may
not be Jude's timeline. I mean, so coincidence that kid
inside suddenly bring home a baby and say to Joe, hey,
is there kid? Now? What other reason could we possibly
(07:17):
come up with as to why Jude would want Brinley
so badly? Something ain't adding up. Another thought, why did
Monica do that? I swear she's making all these bold
decisions and then suddenly taking ad laid in. I guess
she has good intengents, but like, come on, what if
the decisions she's making are as increasingly bad as like
the current events that like canonically occur in like the podcast,
(07:42):
I don't know, there's just a lot of thoughts. I
find this all really entertaining to listen to. Either way.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
If you enjoy the podcast, please leave a five star review.
Until next time. This is Lyneon sang Peace, Love, and
