SPEAKER_01 (00:27):
And this morning we
are going to talk about He is
the same God.
He never ever changes.
He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Amen.
He is a miracle working God.
Can I get an amen to that in thehouse this morning?
Amen.
(00:49):
Psalm 77, 14 tells us that youare the God who performs
miracles and you display yourpower among people.
Amen.
I'm telling you, shout andground, shout and ground.
That's shouting ground.
(01:10):
He is a miracle-working God.
I can look through these chairsright now, and I can see miracle
after miracle after miracle.
Well, God has come and moved andhad his being in each and every
one of you.
Oh, I'm telling you, I'm excitedthis morning.
Amen.
(01:31):
Matthew 1926, with man, this isimpossible.
But with God it is possible.
All things are possible throughGod.
I can do nothing in Holly.
Nothing.
But when I step back, I say,Holy Spirit, have your will and
have your way.
(01:51):
Then I am able to do the tasksthat God has called me to do.
Amen.
You know, I'm a very timid, shyperson.
And to be able to get up hereand to preach the word and to be
able to shout out the goodnessof God, that is a miracle.
Do you know that in my life Ihave been an agoric how you say
(02:12):
it?
Agoraphobic.
I couldn't even go out on myfront porch to get the mail out
of the mailbox.
Fear encompassed me.
But God.
Same God.
Same God as 2,000 years ago, however many years ago, today.
(02:34):
He healed me, he restored me,and he set me free.
And he is no respecter ofperson.
What he would do for me, he willdo for you.
An agoraphobic is somebody whohas an anxiety disorder.
And you cannot move forwardbecause you are trapped in a box
(02:57):
in your head.
And so if that is you today, Ipray.
I pray with all the power andmight that he has invested in me
that today is your day offreedom.
Amen.
Amen.
Because that is living in thepits of hell.
So when I said last week, Psalms140, that he reached down into a
(03:21):
horrible pit and he pulled me upand set my feet on a firm
foundation of Jesus Christ.
Believe me, I know what it'slike to be in a horrible pit.
Amen.
When your mind is the worstweapon that comes against you.
Because Joyce Meyer tells us thebattle is in the mind.
(03:43):
But thank God that we canovercome because He overcame
hell, death, and the grave.
Amen.
Amen.
I'm a testimony of what God cando.
And because of what God has donein me, he has called me to
preach faith.
(04:05):
He has called me to encourage, uplift, edify the body of
Christ.
That is the call that's on mylife to speak life into you.
Because God's word, it issharper than any two-edged
sword, and it is alive and it isactive.
Amen.
(04:25):
Amen.
Not one thing that you severwith the word of God is going to
live.
Because he is all life.
And Satan sets things up for youand I, 24-7, to trip us up, make
us fall down, make us feel likewe're worthless, living in a pot
of shame.
No.
God says we are overcomers.
Amen.
(04:46):
Jeremiah 33:3 says, Call to me,and I will answer you and show
you great and mighty thingswhich you do not know.
My God has shown me great andmighty things that I did not
know.
He showed me how to be all thatI can be.
(05:07):
He showed me how to be aconqueror over fear.
In the mighty name of Jesus.
Oh, I'm telling you, I'm excitedthis morning.
God shows us, shows his poweramong people.
(05:28):
Do you believe that?
Amen.
He performs miracles anddisplays his power.
Because you see, he's all powerand authority.
Amen.
Matthew 19, 26 says Jesus lookedat them and said, With man, this
(05:49):
is impossible.
But with me, what?
All things are possible.
Amen.
I can remember when my daughterwas a little girl and I used to
sing to her, you're a promise.
You're a possibility.
You are everything that God saysyou can be.
(06:09):
Amen.
Talk to your children aboutJesus.
Tell him how wonderful.
You know, I hold little Westonin my arms and I just tell him
how wonderful he is and howprecious he is.
And that, you know, you are apromise and a possibility, and
God's got great things in storefor you.
And each one of you children arepromises and possibilities for
(06:31):
the kingdom of God.
Amen.
Amen.
Hallelujah.
You know, Jesus, he performedmany miracles.
He healed the sick.
How many of you have been healedin here by the hand of Jesus?
Amen.
He cast out demons.
You know, um.
(06:57):
Sometimes we get oppressed.
And when oppression comes up onus, you know, we we aren't
thinking right and we're not notwalking right.
And the enemy just, the doorjust gets opened, and the enemy
comes in, and the next thing youknow, he's rolling and reigning
in our life.
But you know, we need somebodyto come up beside us, right?
Somebody come up beside you andsay, hey, I'm here to pray with
(07:20):
you.
I'm here to see you, help youget your breakthrough.
You know, it's not God's planfor us to be oppressed,
depressed, and under the rock.
That's Satan's plan.
So if you're under the rocktoday, here, let me help you out
of that horrible pit in themighty name of Jesus.
Set your feet upon a solid rock.
Hallelujah! He raised the betthe dead, he turned the water
(07:44):
into wine, he fed a large crowdwith a little bit of food.
Oh my goodness, he raisedLazarus from the dead.
He did healing miracles.
I think about the woman with theissue of blood.
And uh, may try to find it.
Mark V.
I could probably tell youbetter, and I could read it.
(08:07):
Mark V.
Okay, so we are gonna read itfrom the word because I want you
to know it's a truth.
And when you read that with youreyes, you will see that he is
not a man that he should lie.
Amen.
So Mark 5, 25 says, now acertain woman had a flow of
(08:30):
blood for 12 years, and she hadsuffered many things from many,
many physicians.
She had spent all that she had,and it had only grown worse.
When she heard about Jesus, shecame behind him in a crowd, and
(08:51):
she touched his clothing.
Now, imagine this.
Let me set the scene.
People are everywhere,everywhere.
But this woman knew if I onlytouched the hem of his garment,
I would be made whole.
So she wiggles her way upthrough the crowd and she
(09:14):
touches him.
And immediately he says, Whotouched me?
And then did the disciples say,Lord, Lord, there are so many
around you.
Who would know who touched you?
He said, Well, I know I wastouched because I felt the
healing virtue flow from me.
(09:34):
Amen.
When I prayed for Dan last week,I felt the healing virtue flow
from me.
And I believe with every fiberof my being that he's healed in
his foot in the name of Jesus.
Okay, so um I felt the power goout of him.
(09:59):
He turned around to the crowdand said, Who touched my
clothing?
And the disciples said to him,You see, there is a multitude,
but who touched me?
And he looked around and he seesher who has done this thing.
But the woman, she's fearing andtrembling, knowing what had
(10:22):
happened to her.
He says to her, daughter, yourfaith has made you well.
Go in peace and be healed ofyour affliction.
So a lot of times in our life, maybe we're just holding on to
(10:44):
that hymn, to that raveling.
But if it's all if that's allyou got, Jesus is still the
healing Jesus.
Amen.
Amen.
He restored sight to the blind.
Luke eighteen.
(11:06):
And Luke eighteen thirty-five.
Then it happened, as he wascoming near Jericho, there was a
certain man set by the roadbegging, and hearing the
multitude passing by, he askedwhat it meant.
(11:28):
So they told him that Jesus ofNazareth was passing by, and he
cried out, saying, Jesus, son ofDavid, have mercy on me.
Then those around him wentbefore, warning him that he
should be quiet.
But he cried out all the more,Son of David, have mercy on me.
(11:49):
So Jesus stood still andcommanded him to be brought to
him.
And when he had come near, heasked him, saying, What do you
want me to do for you?
And he said, Lord, that I mayreceive my sight.
Then Jesus said to him, Receiveyour sight, your faith has made
(12:09):
you well.
And immediately he received hissight and glorified God.
And all the people, when theysaw it, they all gave God
praise.
Amen.
So through his crying out loud,he was persistent.
(12:29):
He didn't listen when they said, hush, hush, hush, don't bother
the man.
All the more he said, Jesus!Jesus! And Jesus honored him for
his persistentness.
You know, in faith, we walk byfaith and not by sight every day
of our life.
(12:49):
Walking by faith, not by sight.
That means that there might be alot going on in my life, but
that circumstance is notcontrolling me.
I am walking by the faith thatGod has put in me.
Amen.
He healed the paralyzed man atthe gate beautiful.
(13:10):
You can find that in Acts 3, 1through 10.
I love this story.
Now Peter and John went uptogether to the temple at the
hour of prayer on the ninthhour, and a certain man lame
from his mother's womb wascarried, whom they laid daily at
(13:34):
the gate of the temple, whichwas called the Gate Beautiful.
He was asking for alms fromthose who entered the temple.
Who seeing him, Peter and Johnwas about to go into the temple,
asked and they asked for almsand fixed his eyes on him.
When John and Peter said, Lookat us, you know, sometimes we
(13:59):
have to stop, pull ourselvesaway from the clamor, and look
upon God.
Fix our eyes on Jesus.
Amen.
And they said to him, Silver andgold have I none, but what I do
have to offer you is the kingdomof God.
(14:20):
Amen.
Now, at that moment, the man'scrooked feet straightened out,
he leaped up for joy, and he washealed by just those words.
Silver and gold have I none, butthe kingdom of God do I have to
offer you.
(14:41):
That's beautiful.
Amen.
We'll talk about ways that Jesusprovided.
You know, his name is JehovahJireh, the God who provides
everything that you need.
He provides our provision, heprovides healing, he provides
deliverance, he provideseverything.
It isn't limited to just one.
(15:03):
He is the God who provides allthings.
See, sometimes I think we takeJesus and we get him in a box
and we we think he can only dothis.
But he says, I can do allthings.
Not some things, not mostthings, but all things.
You know, get you and Jesus outof the box and experience who he
(15:25):
is and who he can be in yourlife.
Amen.
Amen.
And so they were um, this is inMatthew 14, 9 to 21.
They were uh out out on themountain out on a mountain, and
there was 5,000 people.
That was not including children, and they're hungry.
(15:52):
And the disciples said, Jesus, just send them home.
We don't have nothing for them.
You think Jesus is just gonnasay, Y'all just go home today.
I don't got nothing for ya.
No, he's come to feed you thismorning.
Spiritual, physical food today.
Amen.
(16:12):
And so they said, Well, all wehave is five loaves and some
fish.
And Jesus says, Well, wrestledup, boys, paraphrasing.
And so they get that fish ready, they get that bread ready.
First thing you know, they fed5,000 people with that little
amount of food.
That's God, that's how heprovides for you and I.
(16:32):
We don't live in lack, we livein a land of more than enough.
We sung about that when we sungHoney in the Rock today.
He's more than enough.
Amen.
Amen.
Well, what about when he turnedthe water into wine?
You can find that in John 2, 1through 11.
(16:53):
You know, they're at the weddingfeast.
And my goodness, they ran out ofwine.
And so Mary, Jesus' mom, shesays, Do whatever he tells you
to do to the servants.
And Jesus is like, Woman, I havenot come to myself yet.
This is his very first miracle.
He's like, What are you doing?
Put me on a spot like that.
(17:14):
And she's like, I haveconfidence in you, son.
You can do all things.
Amen.
And so he told the he told theservants, he says, Take those
empty crocs, fill them withwater.
They took them out, they servedit to the master, and he was
taken back that the water hadturned into wine.
(17:38):
Do you know what that says toyou and I?
The very best is yet to come inour lives.
The very best.
Do you know that um when we goto eat our yesterday when we had
our deal our meal?
I got my dessert dessert first.
And I got my fork because I knowthat after I bounted on all that
(18:00):
yummies, the best was yet tocome.
Listen, when the day comes andy'all plant me in my coffin,
stick a fork in my hand.
Because the best, and I know thebest is yet to come.
It's it, you know, it's just asymbol, but the very best is yet
(18:21):
to come for each and every oneof us.
Amen.
Then let's look at Matthew 14,23, where Jesus walked on water.
Oh my goodness.
Can you imagine?
He's sleeping in a boat, it's arocking and a rolling, the winds
are howling, the rains arecoming, and them disciples are
very afraid.
(18:41):
They are afraid, and they'relike, Jesus, what are you gonna
do?
Jesus says, Peace be still.
And the winds and the seasobeyed him.
How many times in your lifeshould you just say, Peace be
still?
You know, the the the storms oflife are hitting you hard.
(19:04):
You don't have enough of this, and you don't have enough of
that, and you can't thinkstraight, and Satan's got you
going the wrong way, and youjust need to stop and say,
Peace, be still in the mightyname of Jesus Christ, and the
storms, that storm will obeyyou.
But as long as you just ridewith it, ride with it, it ain't
(19:25):
never gonna change.
Because you know what?
You're in agreement with thatthing.
But you have to cut that off andget in agreement with Christ and
say, peace be still.
How many of you have times inyour life where you just need to
speak that?
Peace be still.
Peace be still in my finances, peace be still in my marriage,
(19:46):
peace be still in myfriendships, peace be still in
my finances, peace be still.
Don't let the enemy get inbetween you and your husband or
your wife and cause all thatconflict and keep everything
stirred and rattled.
That's what he wants.
Do you know he's the author ofliars and the father of
(20:06):
confusion?
Come on.
You let him get on yourshoulders, start whispering in
your ear.
You gotta take authority in thename of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 7, 7.
This is one of my favoritescriptures.
I use it a lot.
(20:28):
Matthew 7, 7.
Ask and it will be given to you.
Seek and you will find.
Knock and it will be open toyou.
That's how you get God'sattention.
You ask, you seek, and youknock.
Asking, seeking, and knocking, that's my ministry.
(20:50):
That's what I do.
I ask, I seek, and I knock inthe mighty name of Jesus.
I can tell you the times that Ihave.
We'll talk about Miss Chris.
A few years ago, she wasdiagnosed in the name of Jesus
over the blood over these words.
She was diagnosed with cancer.
(21:11):
And so it was a Sundayafternoon.
And we're in the sanctuary andwe're praying for her.
I mean, we are praying for her.
We are interceding for her.
We are believing that God isgoing to move mountains in her
life, that that cancer is nighand void in the mighty name of
Jesus, that it had to dissipate,it had to leave.
(21:33):
I bet we prayed three hours.
I bet three hours.
So she gets up and I said,Chris, I think the next day or
the next week or so, she wasgoing to have the the um the
surgery.
And I said, My prayer is thatyour doctor will want a second
(21:54):
look before they do the work.
So I called her that morning, how are you doing?
We're here, we're getting readyto go in to get the procedure
done, Pastor Holly.
I'm confident God's got it incontrol.
I'm like, praise the Lord.
The doctor walks in, she looksat Chris, and she says, You
know, Chris, I think we need totake another look at that.
(22:14):
Sure enough, it was gone.
It was gone.
Right, Chris?
It was gone.
Same God.
Same God.
And so time had passed and Ihadn't heard nothing.
So I call, I call her phone, thinking Dan will answer, and
(22:36):
it's Chris.
I'm like, girl, they get thatdone so quick.
She's like, oh, Pastor Holly, let me tell you.
She said, they took a secondlook.
Now that's God.
Is that God in the mighty nameof Jesus?
I'll tell you another littlemiracle that happened in our
(22:57):
life.
You know, see, God told me onetime it was a New Year's Eve uh
service, and I was just mindingmy own business, looking out a
window.
It was snow and so beautifulmoonlit night, and he said to
me, He said, Holly, he says, thetestimonies that you have will
bring breakthrough to the bodyof Christ.
And so I'm to share mytestimonies so that breakthrough
(23:21):
will come to your life.
Amen.
Amen.
So when I got pregnant forHolly, I got preclampsia, and I
was just so swollen, and my mywedding band had got cut into
me.
So we cut it off and we lost it.
(23:41):
Lost my wedding ring.
Many, many, many moons later.
Somebody wants my wedding ring.
I don't have it.
Would you know?
Over here in the corner in mydining room, I'm sweeping in the
um woodwork.
And I see something shiny.
By George, it was that diamond.
(24:04):
Can you believe that?
Probably been down there for 20years.
But God cares about us.
He's more than enough.
Amen.
Amen.
I'm telling you, God is amazing, totally amazing.
Um, how God provides.
Now, because I was agoraphobicand I had a lot of fear and
(24:27):
anxiety and stress, it caused meto be a worry word.
But since then, God has told me,if you are worrying, you're not
trusting.
So if you're worrying today, trust in the Lord with all of
your heart.
Lean not into your ownunderstanding because that's
what's going to get you introuble.
Your own understanding.
(24:47):
And let him direct your path.
So Dave and I and Holly, Holly'sabout maybe five.
And we are out on our bikes andwe're going for a ride.
Dave's ahead, Holly, me.
I see this lady come out of herhouse, and she's walking down
her sidewalk.
She's getting in her car, andall of a sudden I see that Holly
(25:09):
on her bike and her pulling outof her driveway is not going to
be good.
So I just start, Jesus, JehovahGod, Father God, stop her.
I can't do nothing.
But he's teaching me a lesson.
I can't do nothing.
But he can do all things.
Well, as she's backing out, shemust have seen the top of her
(25:30):
little helmet, and she stopped.
Oh my goodness, I'm telling you.
She gets out of her car.
Oh my gosh, I about hit yourlittle girl.
But God, He's the same God.
The same God back then as He istoday.
You know, He provides.
He provides safety in the mightyname of Jesus.
(25:53):
You know, uh today's my hubby'sbirthday.
Actually, I told somebody, theysaid, How old is Dave?
I said, 56.
They said, What?
I said, No, no, no, no, no, 67.
But the irony of all that, mydad had passed away on November
(26:15):
10th of 1998.
And in um about 1988, I had gota divorce.
And so my life was in thedumpster.
That's just where I felt like Iwas, cleared down in the Molly
Gups.
And my sister Melody says,Holly, I have a fella I want you
(26:39):
to meet.
I'm like, I don't need any ofthat.
I saw I'm trying to get my lifetogether.
You know, I need to be anindependent woman.
I need to get a job and pay mybills and do all that stuff.
Oh no, she was persistent that Ineeded to meet this Dave.
So the first time we met, it wasnot a go.
We did not like each other much.
(26:59):
It didn't work out at all.
He thought I imagine, he thoughtI was a snob.
And so um November rolls aroundof 1990.
And it is December, it isNovember 10th, and we meet, and
(27:21):
we fall madly in love.
But it was bittersweet becausethat was the same day my dad
passed.
But see how God can take thebitter and bring in the sweet?
And what was an absolutehorrible day in my life became
one of the best days.
See, he's Jehovah Jirah, the Godwho provides.
Amen.
(27:42):
Amen.
I'm sure you all havetestimonies of where God has
come and moved mightily in yourlife.
But he's the same God, he's norespecter of person.
What he'll do for me, he'll dofor each one of you.
Amen.
And so my daughter, her and Claydecided they wanted a little
(28:06):
baby.
And Holly could not hold achild.
Five miscarriages, heartbreakingtimes in our life.
And the last miscarriage she hadnearly killed her.
It had aborted, but it didn'tleave her body, and it grew, and
(28:27):
she thought she was pregnant, thought she was going through a
miscarriage.
We go to the hospital, and hereit was just a mass.
And when they went to remove themass, it was in a place in her
body that was a main bloodsupply, and they couldn't remove
it.
So she had to go on radiation todissolve it.
(28:49):
Hard stuff, very hard stuff.
But God's the God who provides.
Same God, same God.
So I'm asking, Lord, bless Hollyand Clay with this baby.
Bring him this beautiful bundleof joy.
I'm seeking every minute that Iam praying for this baby.
(29:13):
So I begin to knock.
Hey God, it's Holly.
Lord, we're asking for a baby.
Hey God, it's Holly.
God, I'm asking for that baby.
God, I'm believing for thatbaby.
God, I see her holding thatbaby.
(29:33):
God, I think I'm knocking.
I'm not giving up.
I'm not quitting.
I'm not giving up.
You have to knock.
Ask seek and knock, Dell.
I'm knocking.
I'm believing.
Me and Dave, we're knocking.
How long we knock?
Until until what?
Until it happens.
(29:55):
Amen.
Amen.
I'm telling you.
The very day.
Snowstorm.
She's supposed to go get hertubes flushed.
Snowstorm.
What does she do?
She hops up first thing in themorning, goes to put her eye
solution in, fills her eye upwith peroxide.
Well, Mom, I'm supposed to go tothe hospital today and get those
(30:17):
tubes flushed.
I said, Well, you better go tothe emergency room, see if
you're okay.
Well, at the emergency room, what do you think happens?
Storm.
Big snowstorm.
How are we gonna get there now?
I said maybe you just need tocancel.
Thank God for his provision.
Thank God that he's more enough.
Because you know, Lil Weston, hewas in the womb.
(30:42):
Had we got the tubes flushed, wewouldn't have that little boy.
Our miracle baby.
Our miracle baby.
Amen.
How faithful is God?
See, this isn't about me.
I'm not making this about me.
This is about what God can do.
What God can do when you operatein your faith, when you allow
(31:04):
God to move mountains for you.
You know, we don't have to donothing.
All we have to do is pray.
Look at Kathy and Ed.
A miracle.
A miracle.
I can't think of your name, honey, with the dark hair.
Micaiah, a miracle.
(31:25):
Amen.
Your little baby, a miracle.
Any other?
Anyone?
Miracles in this house.
Dan.
Anybody?
Dave.
Dave.
One right after another.
Connie.
And Dale.
And there's Heidi and Danny andwhy can I think of your name?
(31:51):
Joe.
There's Mike and Tanya.
Look, there's there's littleOpal.
Chris.
He's a miracle-working God.
Always on the move.
Always, always, always that wecan advance the kingdom.
(32:15):
So this is one of my favoritescriptures, and it's Acts 20,
2021.
And this is something I stand onbecause I am promoting the
kingdom of God.
I am bringing forth the gospelsand I am telling the gospel
truth of who He is.
Amen.
Acts 20, 2021 says, I did notshrink back from declaring to
(32:40):
you anything that wasprofitable, and teaching you
publicly from the house to thehouse, testifying both to Jews
and Greek, repenting towardsGod's faith, towards the Lord
Jesus Christ.
I do not hold back on who I amin Christ, because He has done
(33:01):
great things in my life.
And I desire each one of you tohave a breakthrough.
Wherever it is in your life, Idesire for you to have a
breakthrough through JesusChrist.
Amen.
See, I am called to build up thebody of Christ.
(33:24):
Luke 4, 18 and 19 says that theSpirit of the Lord was upon me
because He has anointed me topreach the gospel.
He has anointed each and everyone of us to preach the gospel
of Jesus Christ everywhere wego.
He has sent me to heal thebrokenhearted, to proclaim
liberty to the captive andrecovery of sight to the blind,
(33:50):
to set at liberty those who areoppressed, and to proclaim the
acceptable year of the Lord.
You can also find that in Isaiah61:1.
Signs and wonders and miraclesfollow those who believe.
Are you a believing believertoday?
(34:10):
Amen.
Amen.
Jesus promises that supernaturalsigns will be with believers as
they preach the gospel.
