Jean-Francois (J.F.) Benoist has been counseling people struggling with addiction, mental health, and relationship issues for over twenty years. He co-founded The Exclusive Addiction Treatment Center, a non-12-step residential addiction treatment center, with his wife, Joyce, in 2011.

JF Benoist is a celebrated author and speaker with over twenty years of experience in counseling on mental health, addiction, and relationships. After running an addiction treatment center for 12 years, he identified the lack of connection and sense of belonging as critical to happiness and mental health. This insight led him to create Experiential Engagement Therapy™.

He authored the bestselling self-help book, “Addicted to the Monkey Mind,” which has sold over 45,000 copies and is set to release “Avive la Vie: An Adventure in Belonging” in 2024.
