Smoky Mountain Knife Works (SMKW) is the world’s largest knife showplace, with more than 1.5 million visitors to their retail showroom in Sevierville, Tennessee. Just down the road, their 100,000 sq ft warehouse sees hundreds, if not thousands, of orders a day. To accommodate their continually growing business, SMKW knew they could no longer rely on their home-grown AS400 inventory system.
After implementing NetSuite, they turned to RF-SMART after learning their original WMS choice could not accommodate their order volume. More recently, SMKW has added RF-SMART Shipping to their tech arsenal, replacing their slow former shipping system. Hear how SMKW has implemented automation such as Pick Manager, Conveyors, and RF-SMART Shipping to make their warehouse more efficient.
What You'll Learn:
• Why SMKW chose RF-SMART Shipping
• SMKW’s innovative picking, packing, and shipping procedure
• How SMKW was able to ship more than 3,000 packages three times faster during their peak
