Check it with my wife Jin, who is the most
positive person I know. She's always looking for these good
news stories, even before this show started. So I said, well,
why don't I put you to work with the good news.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
What do you got you? So a pd man recently
celebrated becoming a millionaire thanks to one lottery ticket. I
didn't realize this, but there is something called the one
million dollar money Maker second Chance Promotion.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Okay, where you can't enter your old lottery picks that
didn't win.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Okay, it was South Carolina Education Lottery.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Yes, so he entered, and he even made a bet
with a friend. He was like, if this is a
hoax that I've won, I'm going to give you five
hundred dollars, but if it's legit, I'm going to give
you one thousand. Since it was real, he had to
give his buddy one thousand bucks. So now he's not
quite a millionaire.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Well that in Texas plus whatever he spent over at BUCkies.
I imagine he probably just broke even.
