plugged in? What's happening right now? Wait? What's going on?

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Here's your low Country lowdown with Palmetal Life Emily.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Z Well, she is back again after a whole week.
She's decided she's going to continue doing this. Is it
the pay? Is that the reason you're doing it?

Speaker 1 (00:17):
No? I just feel obligated I help you.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Oh well, I appreciate that. I need all the help
I can get. Yeah, you need Emily see because over
at the How Metal Life set that the Live five studios.
What you got this morning? Okay?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
So if fly Beach Tradition is returning this weekend the
annual Sea and Sand Festival. It's Folly's longest running festival,
thirty three years. They've been doing this now. The sand
castle building is a huge part of this festival.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I've been out there and I need to go buy
some buckets.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Put that on the list, some buckets.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
That's how I usually make my sand castles.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Well, every year they do this sand sculpture competition on
the beach, and let me tell you, these artisans are incredible.
I have no idea how they do it. Their patients
is amazing, their artistic abilities are amazing.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
It's just so folly and then high tide comes and
it's all a big waste of time.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
The ocean is not their friends sometimes when it comes
to this. But that's my favorite thing about the Sea
and Sand Festival. Of course, on Saturday, it's Salty Saturday,
so they'll be closing down Center Street. It'll be taken
over by vendors. They'll have over eighty Folly arts and
crafts and fashion vendors and of course kids, area, local bands, food,
all that good stuff. So it's a great weekend to

(01:26):
head out to Folly. And on Sunday you can catch
that sand sculpture competition. If you want to participate, maybe
try it out. I don't I don't know if you.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Could beat going to buy my bucket, So look for
me out there.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
What would you scold your wife?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
No, No, I would never attempt to do that because
there's no way that I can capture her beauty. Yeah,
no way I could capture it in sand.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
She'd just be looking at it all mad.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
She hates whenever I do anything with sand. Like the
other day, I walked in from the yard and there
was a bunch of sand in the four yer. So
now that's not anything we'll be doing.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
If you track and sand in your house for a week, did.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
The sculpture of usual? Well still you could at least
take your shoes off before you come in, all right.
So sand and sea are sea and sand and sand
olvert following this weekend and details on the calendar page

Speaker 1 (02:18):
