I learned at an early age how to pretend. It seemed like there was always something to hide from. The hiding places somehow felt safe even though they weren’t real.

What kind of men did Jesus call to be His twelve disciples? Was John the Baptist the second Elijah? What did Jesus say about the Baptizer? And here’s the good news about “The Lord’s Prayer.” 

Men - I should say people - spend their lives working for the single purpose of providing what they need and for what a family needs. Most of us, usually without notice, follow a calling. A career can last forty to sixty years, that’s a lot of time identifying with what you do. This podcast is focused on who you are and not what you do. Rick and author Dave Burchett discuss the problem of losing purpose.

Episode 3: Rick and Steve establish that the rhema word of God is not only the bible, but also the words He speaks to us individually. John 3:33-34: He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the Words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

Episode 2: In the beginning was the Word (John 1:1) and this Word was fully God and Jesus existed in the beginning. It is true that this Word is Christ but at the same time God’s words were the Bible. Rick and Steve talk about the difference and the sameness of His Word.
