Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's do this.
Hello again, everybody, andwelcome to an all new episode of
Wrestling's Road Trip AfterHours.
I'm your host, mac Davis, andwith me each and every week is
none other than WWE Hall ofFamer Teddy Long.
(00:23):
How you doing, teddy?
I'm good Clay.
Look here.
You may notice that we have athird set of people on the
screen right now, and that'sbecause, teddy, you met somebody
recently that really kind ofimpressed you, and this is this
young gentleman right here.
His name is Houston Genius.
Teddy, you want to tell me howyou met this kid here?
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Well, I had the
opportunity to speak with his
father first and after me, andhis dad talked and we got a big
show that's coming up next weekin Michigan.
We're going to talk about that.
And so then he introduced me,you know, to his son and he was
telling me about him.
He says, yeah, he says my sonhas his own podcast, and you
know, I'm thinking 19, 20 yearsold or something and he says no,
he's only 10.
And so that impressed me.
(01:06):
You know, a 10-year-old kidthat has his own podcast.
And the thing that impressed meabout it is because, you know,
with what we got going on in ourworld today, every day I turn
on this TV is some teenager orsome kid got a gun then killed
his neighbor.
You know what I mean.
Kids are just killing eachother for no reason at all.
So there has to be another way,and what Houston has done,
(01:27):
houston has showed me and I wanthim to explain that to a lot of
kids today that there isanother way, because he's doing
it.
He ain't out there shooting upand killing nobody.
He's doing something positiveand something that could lead
him into a career for the restof his life.
So that's why I wanted to havehim on, you know, and let him
give you his story and how hegot started and what most
inspired him, I'm pretty sure, was his father, because he's got
(01:49):
a great dad.
So, houston, welcome to theshow player.
And if you could just talk tous a little bit and tell us how
the podcast, how you got started, what made you get into that
and why you wanted to do it.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
So what made us get
into the podcast and wrestling?
And what happened was so,basically, um, so me and um my
partner here, we was on facetimeum a couple like a long time
ago and um, um, he was sick.
So then, um, on facetime hesaid that we are going to make a
(02:33):
big goal and then, um, like afew years later, then all this
cool stuff is happening.
All these people are coming tomeet people at wrestling shows,
to meet us, to meet everybodyaround the world.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Houston, I would
imagine, because I've seen the
videos and you can find these onYouTube, and that's going to be
at Houston Genius, Is thatcorrect?
Let me introduce his fatherfirst.
Do we call you Miz?
What do we call?
Speaker 4 (03:03):
you Mission, yes, so
Mission with two Z's.
Yeah, you can find it onYouTube at our YouTube Forever
Exposure Studios.
That's where we got most ofthem.
We got one that was reallymajor for him was with the
Boogeyman.
That was a major video, majoropportunity.
I'm going to really give creditto Teddy, though, because Teddy
(03:25):
said go introduce him to theboogeyman.
At one of the WrestleCons wemet up at, and I tell you, when
they had that interaction, everybody all his friends,
family and everybody whosupported us shared and shared
and shared and shared that video.
I think it's about 40K rightnow.
Wow, and it really reallychanged how Houston was going to
(03:49):
interview from that point on.
That moment was the moment thatchanged Houston's life.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Boogie is Teddy and I
.
We love Boogie.
He's such a good guy, so it'snot hard for me to see that he
would do something like that.
Houston, let me ask you there'sa lot of wrestling stars out
there.
Is there somebody in particularthat you would like to
interview that you haven't yet?
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Okay, so I'm going to
tell you one.
So I'm going to tell you one ofthem and the least one.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
The first one is Jey
Uso the Master.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
And that's the one
that you would like to interview
, right.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Yeah, and the one I
would not like to is Dirty Dom.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
That's a good choice.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
I tell you this he
says he wants to be a
professional wrestler when hegets older.
So we're gonna get him into awrestling school?
Uh, definitely.
But he says, if he does have aprogram in the wwe, that's his
first opponent, dirty don.
So that's why he doesn't wantto interview him.
He wants to take him down.
Take that icing title from himchallenges out there already.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
So, uh, dirty, if
you're listening, respond, and
I'm sure he'd love to hear fromyou.
Teddy, let me ask you I knowyou're going to be with these
guys coming up on a date verysoon Can you tell me more about
the event?
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Well, I can't tell
you more about it because I'm
not the promoter you need to betalking to Mission.
Mission is the guy that doeseverything, brings on the show.
Why are you asking me all?
Speaker 1 (05:23):
this.
I even gave Teddy a cheat sheetby putting something on the
screen so he can cheat from that.
But go ahead Mission.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
I don't know him.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Mission.
Go ahead and tell us aboutwhat's going to be happening
next week.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
This is the Motor
City Championship Wrestling Expo
.
It is next Saturday and Sunday, august 16th and 17th.
As you can see, we have TeddyLong there, but we also have Ron
Simmons and the Godfather andthe Brooklyn Brawler coming in
and just representing that oldclassic, really good wrestling.
That's my era, right, that'swhen I was watching wrestling as
(05:59):
a kid, and now this isconnected to the Michigan
Independent Circle.
We're going to have somewrestling shows.
Definitely talk to theselegends like teddy, because, uh,
they can tell some stories thatnone of these guys can, and
teddy's shared some stories withus.
Um, even when we interviewedhim on our podcast, he told us
exactly where the uh, thecatchphrase that ron simmons is
(06:22):
known for, where it came fromand how it originated.
So stories like that, and thenyou know the same thing any
Russell Conner Expo has You'llbe able to interact with these
guys.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
And also there's
going to be a very special
correspondent for that event andof course, that's Houston
Genius.
Congratulations.
That is so cool.
Again, that's August 16th and17th, the All-Star Sports Arena,
and that's at 51400 County Linein New Baltimore, michigan.
And if you need moreinformation, where do they go to
(06:56):
get that information?
Speaker 4 (06:57):
They can go.
It's Facebook, instagram andthen it's on Eventbrite for
tickets to be purchased and youknow we're never going to slide
away from.
If you walk up, buy your passfor the weekend, come back both
days.
I'm sure lines are going to belong.
So if you don't get to onelegend, get to them the second
day.
The thing is we really wantedto bring Teddy, because Teddy,
(07:20):
honestly, wrestling would not bewrestling without Teddy Long.
Totally agree.
If you liked him as a ref, youliked him as a manager or you
liked him as what I think wasthe greatest part of his career
as the GM, then you know thereis no WWE without a Teddy Long.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Thank you very much,
thank you.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Houston.
We enjoyed having you on theshow Again, so your favorite one
is Jey Uso.
That's who you'd like tointerview.
Okay, let's just throw it outthere.
You never know.
You never know who may bewatching this show, so you just
never know.
And I'm sure Jey Uso knows howto get in touch with Teddy if
that's the case.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
Oh, yeah, I've known
Jey Uso ever since he was a
little bitty baby.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
We had the chance to
meet his father at one of the
WrestleCons yes, a couple of theWrestleCons but every time that
we are because we went to RoyalRumble this year, we went to
WrestleMania this year in LasVegas and every time he sees Jey
Uso, he's like I got it.
I just want to yeet with him atleast once, and him being the
world champion earlier in thisyear was the biggest thing for
(08:26):
this guy.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Very cool, very cool.
Well, guys, we hope you have agreat event.
I know Teddy will come back andtell me all about it.
If he doesn't call me, why isthere?
Because he tends to do that too.
So you know, I look forward tohaving a successful event with
you guys, and I wish you thebest of luck, my friends.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Thank you so much,
and thank you for having us All
right.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
See you guys next
Thursday night.
Players.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
All right, and for
tonight, for the rest of the
night, don't forget, we do haveto get into the mailbag here.
You can be a part of the showsimply by sending your questions
in.
It's not going to cost youanything.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
That's the great
thing about this show we're not
going to charge you money to aska question.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
I wish we could.
Yeah, it'd be nice, but westarted the show not doing that
because we wanted to give youyour fans, you know really a
chance to participate in aprogram that otherwise a lot of
stuff and me included I'm onother shows where you got to pay
to ask the questions, but hereit's absolutely free.
So all you got to do is leaveus a chat question down below
and we'll throw it up on theLetters oh, we get letters, we
(09:37):
get your letters every day, mailman, mailman, mail.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
Today, reach right in
and pull one out.
Oh letters, I love thoseletters.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Let's find out what
you've got to say.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
Oh boy, Mailman Mail
today.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
And look here, that
is just horrible.
That music is the worst musicI've ever heard in my entire
life.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
I'm actually actively
looking for something different
to do the show with, but it'sin particular and I got to find
it first.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
So once that's that's
, that's that's bedded into us,
we can't change it.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Pretty classy lady
already in here saying the show
is just in time for her tolisten to while she does her
workout, and we're glad you'rein here, pretty classy lady.
She's always one of those thatwe can count on every, each and
every thursday night, uh, andthat's what denise is doing.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
My, my lady, she's uh
getting a workout on while
she's watching the show too now.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Yeah, I mean I'd love
denise, hey, denise, and uh, oh
, denise, shoot me.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
We're doing good

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Let's see Michael hey
Teddy and Mac hey player.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
All right, michael,
how you doing.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
And John Blaine, hey
Mac and Teddy.
Congratulations to Teddy forgoing into the ICW Hall of Fame.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
All right.
Thank you very much.
Immortal Championship Wrestlingthat's with the ICW.
I was there this past Tuesdaynight and God, I can't pronounce
this town, but it was wherethey had the fairgrounds and
what a great show ImmortalChampionship Wrestling put on
that night.
Put me in the Hall of Fame anda couple of their stars also too
(11:29):
.
So thank you again to them andthank all the people for all
their support that they've givento Immortal Championship
Wrestling.
Those guys are really doing agood job.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Yeah, Mike Falvo, who
was an announcer for that
program.
He sent me a message that dayand said Teddy's here.
He was all excited because youwere there.
I know Mike and I know severalof the people with that
particular organization andeverything I hear about him is
always good and that's.
That's not always the case inindependent wrestling, but
everything I've always heardabout them has been good.
Let's see Pretty classy ladysaying nice to meet you, Ms John
(12:01):
and Houston.
I'll be checking out thepodcast.
Yeah, please do.
Yeah.
And let's see what else we got.
We got a bunch of folks poppingin here, Dave Crone in here,
you guys coming back to St Louisin the summer and what happened
to the Mokies.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I don't know.
I saw them, I think about fouror five years ago.
Well, I didn't see both of them.
I seen one of them, I believeRandy Mokie, I believe that's
who I saw, and I talked to him alittle bit and that was about
it.
I hadn't heard anything fromthem.
I don't know what happened withthem.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Yeah, I really don't
know.
I'd never hear anything aboutthem whatsoever.
By the way, if you want to be apart of the conversation here,
just send us a question in chat.
We'll throw it up on the screen.
The best question of the night, teddy will pick and, of course,
the winner will get a free RoadTrip After Hours T--shirt.
So put your questions in.
Let's see, uh, what we have.
(12:54):
We got michael uh asking hey, teddy, what are your memories of
birmingham, alabama?
Speaker 2 (13:01):
oh wow man.
I was born and raised there, went to parker high school,
lincoln elementary school uh, alot of good memories there I
never forget.
We used to always go to thesports entertainment there at
legion field.
That's where they played allthe football games and all that
stuff.
So I remember Legion Field.
I had a great time inBirmingham.
I was doing the civil rightsstuff.
(13:22):
I was right there then.
I was one block from the 16thStreet Baptist Church.
When they bombed that church Iwas like a block away.
I heard the explosion andeverything.
Wow.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Jenny, you have some
your family family, your dad.
You told me a story one time.
It was that did you go back tofind your dad?
Was he in birmingham, alabama?
Is that where he was?
Yeah, do you mind telling thatstory that?
Uh, honestly, that's one of thestories you've told me that, uh
, I thought was one of the mostmoving stories you've told me
when it came to your father andtrying to show the success that
you got.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
So can you well I, I
went back to this uh community
there.
Well, my father was analcoholic.
He drank him, my mother both.
Um.
So my father would always go tothis place where they sold this
corn liquor that back then itwas called moonshine.
They do have moonshine now, asof today, but uh, you could buy
a mayonnaise jar full for 50cent or a dollar or something
(14:18):
you know in my house, so I, so I.
When I went to Birmingham, Iwent there.
I was reverend, I just startedworking, so I went there to do a
show.
But I said, well, let me go tryto find my dad.
And uh, you know, just speak tohim and let him know what I'm
doing.
So I went right to the spot.
Man, I remembered it all themyears.
You know where he used to hangout at and where he always he'd
sit there all day and just drink.
(14:39):
So I was lucky man that day.
I walked right up on him.
So I didn't tell him who I was,I didn't tell him nothing, but
I called him by his name and Isaid Ditto, how you doing?
And he looked up and he spoketo me, you know, and I said you
know?
I said we was talking the otherday and I said some of the guys
(15:00):
said you had a son, you got ason.
And he said yeah, yeah.
I said, well, when's the lasttime you seen him?
And he said well, you know, hecouldn't talk to me much and I
was about to come to tearsmessing with him.
But then I looked at him.
I said well.
I said I know your son.
I said if you want me to givehim a message or something, what
would you say to him?
(15:20):
What would you want me to tellhim?
And he started trying to tellme and he just broke out in
tears, man, and so then Istopped him and I said to him I
said I'm your son, you'retalking to me.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
And it was that that
that had to be so difficult and
uh I, but I know that it alsogave you some some kind of a oh,
what am I looking for?
The word, a conclusion,enclosure?
Yes, because you were able togo back to, despite all the odds
that uh, he and your mother youput in front of you as you got
into life man, to be able to goback and say, look at me, you
(16:00):
know and I love you, but look atme, I still made it, even
though you didn't allow me to doit, but you know that didn't.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
he didn't understand
all that at all.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
You know what it
meant, but that didn't matter at
that point, because I wouldimagine for you that was for you
, that moment was for you.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
I went to look for
him, just for me.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
That was the last
time I saw him.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Yeah, that has always
been one of my favorite stories
you ever told me in the car.
Let's see, zach Minger.
Easy for me to say HappyNational Raspberries and Cream
Day Mac and Teddy, what does meto say happy national
raspberries and cream day macand teddy, but what?
Does that mean it sounds likeice cream with raspberries and
man, that sounds good to me?
Well, I hope so.
Let's see dave saying I was akid watching teddy as a referee
(16:47):
skinny and braids no, I neverdid.
Never did have no braids I wasabout to ask you that.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
No, it was a jerry
curl.
That's what he's trying to say.
That's what I had.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
I remember the jerry
curl.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
It was funny.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Braids wasn't even
out then.
Yeah, they may not have been.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
I remember the jerry
curl back in the day because I
worked in radio and in thestation I worked for there was a
uh, a multi-station station.
So there was one station, uh,from in this building, a middle
room that was the newsroom andthen the studio of the other
station, and the other stationwas an urban black FM.
(17:29):
That was uh playing, and I'm,you know, here I am, I'm on, you
know the white guy's side, andbut occasionally we would cross
our headphones Like if we forgotsomebody's.
Him.
That was uh playing and I'm.
You know, here I am, I'm on,you know the white guy's side,
and.
But occasionally we would crossour headphones like if we
forgot somebody's headphones, wewould put them on.
Jerry curl was the absoluteworst thing for a pair of cost
headphones.
Whatever was in jerry curlwould deflate anything that it
touched and it would just sinkin the the headphones and these
(17:51):
felt like rocks on your ears atthat point.
Yeah, yeah, and then you couldnever get rid of it.
No, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
That grease or
whatever that was.
You could never get rid of it.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
No, yeah, you could
always still after school too,
like when you take the bus home.
I was a bus rider and man, thewindows would have the jerry
curl on them because people'sheads would rest against the you
know the window, and it would.
It made a mess.
Uh, let's see benjamin onfacebook writes what is a
legends deal, and are youcurrently signed to one?
Speaker 2 (18:24):
well, I don't know
whether I'm at live to tell you
what the legend deal is, so I'llleave that alone, but I do have
one yeah, I think Legends deals, from what I understand, are
basically.
Well, they're different ones,Mac.
That's why I don't want todiscuss it, because different
wrestlers have different deals,so they're different ones.
(18:44):
So you can't speak about itbecause you don't know what kind
they got.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
True, that would make
sense.
Actually, let's see Dave'ssaying.
How bad were the jobbers thatskyscrapers put in a herding on,
or did they go to the hospital?
What was said in the back?
I remember there was askyscraper.
Was it the skyscrapers?
I thought it was Ron.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Yeah, it was Fort
Worth, Dallas, fort Worth, texas
, was wrestling in a cow barn orsomething like that, as I can
remember.
And there was a couple of guysthere, two enhancement guys, you
know, and they come in.
Well, one of them, I don't know, I think he had been drinking
or something, I'm not sure, butanyway he come in running that
mouth, talking like he was thebaddest person in the world and
(19:28):
all this crazy mess.
So they went and smartened upDanny and see it about him, you
know, before we went out there.
So then when we got in the ringhe really acted up.
Then he didn't, he wouldn'tsell nothing.
So golly boy that that done it.
They, they, they, theycrucified him.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Didn't somebody?
I'm trying to remember who itwas public enemy.
Didn't they get beat up bysomebody at one point for not
selling in the ABA.
Yeah, okay, I knew there wasanother story out there about
something like that and that'sthe one I remember the most APA
and Public Enemy If you haven'tever seen that, go pull that up.
There's some stiff, stiff shotsin that match.
Let's see.
(20:07):
Here Steve Moore is saying doy'all think Karrion Kross would
get a good pop against TrickWilliams in TNA?
I'm going to be honest KarrionKross and Trick Williams, I
don't know enough about eitherone of them.
I haven't seen enough of thework to be able to say but Teddy
, what about you?
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Well, I've seen
Karrion Kross Not bad, not a bad
worker at all, you know.
And Trick Williams, I kind oflike him, he's entertaining, so
at all.
And Trick Williams, I gottalike him, he's entertaining, I
don't know.
I think Trick would probablyget the biggest pop.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Let's see the next
question.
Scott, lance, hey Scott, goodto have you in here.
Thoughts on working with EricBischoff and how was your match
with him at Survivor Series.
Also, thoughts on Jim Cornetteback in the NWA starting the
peanut head chant.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Well, the first one
now, working with Eric, was
absolutely great.
I had a chance to meet Ericbefore we even got involved in
the, you know, deep in thewrestling business.
So I had a chance to work withhim at TBS when he first come in
, first started, and then all ofa sudden, you know, after a
while, eric became, you know, the guy in charge.
So he remembered me, you know, from helping him and staying
with him.
(21:12):
So working with Eric was great.
I had a great time.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Now your match with
him.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Well, it didn't go
too long.
We just started and thenBoogeyman came in and interfered
and then Boogey put the orangeson him.
But that was fun too.
I think that was something thatVince put together that he just
liked and that was for his ownentertainment.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Yeah, that's not one
of Teddy's best, oh God, no,
that was horrible.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
Yeah, that sucked,
that was horrible, brother Jesus
Christ.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Now what about Jim
Cornette with the peanut head
chant back in the day?
Speaker 2 (21:48):
Well, the way that
started is we were trying to
find something to call me to getsome heat.
And I told Jim Cornette.
I said well, jimmy, when I wasa little bit of boy, I said my
nickname was peanut.
I said that's what he used tocall me when I was a kid and I
said, so we can use that.
And that went right off withJimmy.
He said yeah, yeah, yeah, peanut head.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
And so that's how the
peanut head started.
Let's see Michael.
Hey, mac, what is yourconnection to wrestling?
Uh, I bought my way in.
No, no, I uh not really at all.
It's kind of complicated.
I would just say that I havewrestled, uh, I wrestled for
quite some time, and independentwrestling in Georgia.
Uh, I do a lot of things behindthe scenes as well and do a lot
of shows.
No, no, teddy and a lot of otherpeople who, uh, have helped me
(22:31):
along the way to get where I am,and Teddy is of those guys that
I think Teddy's even said it.
He saw something.
We got along great and likewhat the hell, let's give this a
shot and we've had a blastdoing it.
That's basically it.
But anybody that says, hey, Idon't know what I'm talking
about.
I promise you I have been inthe ring.
I felt some of the bumps thatyou may talk about or anything
else.
I promise I know some of thestuff.
(22:53):
Scott, lance and Scott knowsthis for a fact because Scott
was one of the guys I workedwith.
He said I love the boxing matchSugar Ray Long versus Paul
Ellering.
Did you get extra money to haveyour head shaved?
Speaker 2 (23:04):
No, didn't get no
extra money, almost got fired.
If you want to know whathappened about that?
Only, god rest his soul.
He was doing the booking atthat time, so he's at.
The thing was to shave my head.
Paul Ellerin and myself we'reboth bald headed, we both don't
have no hair.
So what is the deal shaving myhead?
So I just you know, and thenI'm, I'm keeping, I'm having
(23:27):
problems too.
So I just kind of got tiredthat night and Jody Hamilton God
rest his soul, he was a guythat talked to me and the reason
I stayed that night, that Ididn't leave, jody Hamilton, he
was the guy that would talk tome and kind of explain to me and
I kept trying to tell him whyare you shaving my head, paul?
Neither one of us got any hair,so I don't understand it.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
And Nick Patrick.
Last week we were saying thatwhat was the name, teddy, that
we were trying to figure out?
Nick O'Beak Okay, you know, nick, we haven't heard from you.
You're going to have to get intouch.
I know you watch, because yousend me messages, but you didn't
answer that.
I want to know what that's allabout, and if you don't, I'm
going to hunt you down.
No, I'm just teasing.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Let's see, were some
of the best jokesters backstage
in your time.
Uh, owen hart, god rest hissoul.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
He was a real pranker
he did it with just about
everybody and sometimes did hispranks sometimes get a little
mean well, yeah, they did, but Imean, you know, that was part
of the wrestling business backthen, you know you'd have the
killer bees, not the killer bees, the British Bulldogs.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Oh golly, david Boyd
and them Boy, they messed with
everybody.
They messed around.
One time, you know, they hadthe dog, matilda.
Well, some of the guys in theback they halcyoned the dog,
they gave Matilda halcyon.
So when they got ready, whenthe British Bulldogs got ready
to go out to the ring, there'sno Matilda.
(25:01):
They don't got the dog.
So they don't know where thedog is.
So they're out there wrestling.
I mean, you know the matchesare going on and so by the time
they got out there I think theywere maybe semi -main.
So they got out there, they gotno dog, dog and all of it.
You know they're wrestling andeverything.
And all of a sudden Matildakicks out and she comes out from
under the ring and there'sMatilda right there she's
snagging around, you know, trying to shake the house.
(25:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
It's all.
But, uh, God, it's the meanfolks man.
Uh, let's see here, Uh,currently man saying my
apologies, Teddy, but I likedthat intro.
He's talking about the mailbag,uh of course you do that fits
you and let's see michael'ssaying uh teddy, what are your
memories of working with eddieguerrero?
Speaker 2 (25:45):
nothing but great
memories working with eddie
guerrero.
What a nice guy, man, alwaysnice, great attitude and
everything.
And he was another guy.
You know that I could talk toyou know, like you know, maybe
tell him, eddie, I've gotsomething you did out there,
maybe you should.
You know that I could talk toyou know, like you know, maybe
tell him, eddie, I got somethingyou did out there, maybe you
should.
You know, and he would listen, because I wouldn't go to nobody
and say nothing to him unless Iknew what I was talking about,
because that's embarrassing togo to somebody and talk about
(26:06):
telling them something you don'tknow what you're talking about.
So, oh, that'd be stupid.
So I didn't ever do that unlessI knew what I was talking about
, because I paid attention, youknow.
But a lot of guys I didn't talkto, a lot of guys I did because
I didn't want them to know, Iknew.
But Eddie was a guy, him, chrisBenoit, god rest his soul.
He was another guy that I couldcritique or sell him.
And then we'll forget.
One night with Eddie, eddie, oh,the frog splash.
(26:30):
And I mean we were somewhereoverseas, I might have been, and
Eddie to me.
I thought he took a little toolong.
He went to go up, you know, andyou know and work the people a
little bit, boom hit it.
But that night he stalled justa little.
It was just a little too longto me, okay, and I told Eddie
about it.
I said nothing special, youknow.
He said no.
He said what do you think, ted?
(26:51):
I said nothing real special.
I said I thought on the frogsplash, you were just a little
bit too long you waited.
You should have just went uphere.
You know what I mean.
And he looked at me and he saidyou know what You're right.
He said I felt it.
He, when I went up, you know, Isaid that's all I saw.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Yeah, that's, that's
cool.
All right, you got to picksomebody here, teddy.
Of all the questions we've had, have you got somebody in
particular or a question in mind?
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Well, one of the
questions about the referee and
something there.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
What was that
question?
Let me get to it.
Talk about your upcoming eventagain, Teddy, while I find him.
Speaker 2 (27:32):

what to talk about it because I
don't know where it is.

back up?

referee.
They're going to know it beforewe even get to it.

(28:27):
happened to your camera here?
I'm getting dizzy.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Well, I was what did
I do?
Speaker 1 (28:39):
If it's live, it's
meant to happen.
Isn't that what you tell me?
Speaker 2 (28:42):
That's what the man
told me.
That's what the man said.
But live was meant to be.
Now I'm going to have to.
Let's see how do I get backinto you.
