Wrestling history comes alive as SICW Fan Fest 3 takes center stage in this captivating conversation with special guest Nick Rittenhouse, a 35-year veteran promoter from St. Louis. Joining WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long and host Mac Davis, Nick unveils exciting details about this year's expanded two-day celebration of wrestling heritage on May 16-17 at the Airport Hilton Hotel in St. Louis.

The spotlight shines brightest on Teddy Long himself, who'll receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award during the weekend's festivities. This honor comes alongside the induction of wrestling legends Ox Baker, Greg Valentine, Crusher Blackwell, Butch Reed, and Ivan Koloff into the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame. The star-studded lineup of attendees features iconic names like Kevin Von Erich (who Nick reveals was born just across the river in Belleville, Illinois), Nikita Koloff, Buff Bagwell, and Missy Hyatt.

Nick treats listeners to a hilarious behind-the-scenes story from 1987 when Mr. Fuji and Kim Duk abandoned their luggage in the street to chase down local kids who pelted them with rock-filled snowballs. This glimpse into wrestling's colorful past perfectly sets the stage for what Fan Fest promises – authentic old-school wrestling that, as Nick puts it, "you don't get anywhere hardly anymore."

The episode wraps with Teddy answering fan questions, sharing stories about cherished wrestling memorabilia, and participating in a name association game that reveals personal connections with wrestling personalities from Tajiri to Paul Heyman. Wrestling fans won't want to miss this fascinating preview of what promises to be the must-attend event of the year for lovers of wrestling tradition and history.

night in another show, herbSimmons that it's this show that

(01:16):
I enjoy the most every year.
It's just something about thisevent that I like, more so than
the others that we do every year.
That's just me personally, but, nick, congratulations on a
great event.
Congratulations on FanFest 3.

We're having it at the AirportHilton Hotel and of course it's
our third year.
It's our 19th or 18th annual StLouis Hall of Fame ceremony
that we're having.
That night.
We are inducting five moremembers into the Hall of Fame Ox
Baker, greg Valentine he hadmany feuds with Kerry Von Erich,

(01:57):
st Louis, wrestling to Chase.
There's a video on YouTube.
And then we're putting inCrusher Blackwell, missouri
State champion.
He was a great wrestler, had alot of feuds here in St Louis
also, and many more.
And then we also have theLifetime Achievement Award going
to our friend over here, teddyLong, this year.

(02:18):
That's right.
So that's going to be kind ofspecial and well-deserved.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yeah, I'm looking forward to that, I really am.
That's special andwell-deserved.
Yeah, I'm looking forward tothat, I really am.
That's one of the main thingsI'm looking forward to that
weekend is having Teddy get thataward for the Lifetime
Achievement Award.
And Nick, I know you hadactually called me way in
advance.
We had talked about this and Itold Teddy I had to hold my
tongue for a long time becauseyou told me so far in advance
what the plans were and I had todo that.
But I couldn't think of anybodybetter.

(02:48):
That I know personally in thisbusiness.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
that deserves that honor.
Oh hey man, teddy's been aroundfor a long time.
He's done a lot for thisbusiness.
He's helped a lot of people inthis business also, including me
.
I wouldn't be where I'm atright now if it wouldn't be for
Teddy Long.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Yeah, for those of you who are watching, this is
something that I should pointout, nick.
I'm glad you did that, nick, and what he does in professional
wrestling and he does a lot ofstuff that you may not know
about, but he's been involvedwith wrestling for years and for
him and I to have someone likeTeddy that will help us along
and make sure that we growproperly, that's something that

(03:22):
you don't usually find inprofessional wrestling, and
Teddy's done that for both Nickand I.
I can tell you that for a factbecause I've talked to Nick
about different things and he'stalked to me, and so we know the
value of a Teddy Long in ourlives.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Well, I appreciate that, man.
I want to thank both of youguys from the bottom of my heart
because I mean, the main thingabout it is you guys even
thought about me.
You know what I mean?
Just the thought of you sayingyou're going to give me the
Lifetime Achievement Award, justthat thought right there, that
means a lot to me.
So I just want to thank you now, nick, and I'll thank you again

(03:55):
once I receive it and make sureit's not fake.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
And there's a lot of people that are going to be
there that weekend too.
Nick not just Teddy, and by theway I should mention, butch
Reed is also going into the Hallof Fame that weekend.
And what better time for Teddyto get this award than on the
same night that Butch Reed isbeing entered into the Hall of
Fame.
It's a great combination rightthere, but let's talk about some
of the other names that aregoing to be there.

(04:25):
We've got people who will bethere on hand.
Do you have a list of those?

Speaker 4 (04:29):
We have Kevin Von Erich, very special guy.
He hasn't been here in over 35years.
He's been in St Louis, a bigstaple here.
Actually, kevin is from StLouis, he's from the suburb
right across the river in.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Illinois.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Belleville, illinois, so he was born over in
Belleville before his otherbrothers.
Wow, I didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Yes, now you've got like Ruff Bagwell coming in.
You also have Nikita Koloffwill be there, as a matter of
fact, with Ivan Koloff beinginducted to the Hall of Fame
again.
There's a great person will bethere, as a matter of fact, with
Ivan Koloff being inducted tothe Hall of Fame again.
There's a great person to bethere at this event the FanFest
3.
And there are so many namesMissy Hyatt, good Lord, I bet

(05:13):
you, I've got a list around heresomewhere.
See if I can.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
We've got Dan Severn coming in.
Abdul will be there.

Speaker 2 (05:19):

I'm telling you, this is a hostof great talent that will be at

the fans to meet us.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Yep, and that will be on May 16th and 17th.
That's at St Louis, the Hilton,at the airport Hilton.
And that is great news becausewhen it comes to travel for
anybody who's coming in,especially for the talent, it
makes it super easy and makesthis event.
It's going to be even betternow, nick, and I'm looking
forward to this.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Oh it's great, it's going to be something special.
Oh it's great, it's going to besomething special.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Look, I'm going to pick your brain real quick
because I'm running out of time, but you know I've had
conversations with you andyou've told me some different
stories over time.
You know of things thathappened when you were in the
wrestling business when you weregrowing up.
Can you share one of those withus?

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Oh yeah, I remember we used to park cars out at the
keel.
The wrestlers come in, we parkcars and we take them out to the
airport and drop off at thehotel marriott hotel mainly.
Or we take or we pick them up,so we are waiting outside.
One time and they were gettingready to go in the wrestlers and
mr fuji and kim duck gets outof a taxi cab and this

(06:42):
wintertime and there was a bunchof local kids downtown from the
downtown area and they were allmaking snowballs and I'm going,
what is going on?
And a few of them, I see, stuckrocks inside the snowballs.
Well, they took the snowballsand they started throwing them
at Kim Duck and Mr Fuji.

(07:02):
Well, they nailed Mr Fuji inthe head and they had a rock in
it, wow.
So all of a sudden they droppedtheir suitcases right in the
middle of the street.
The cab takes off, they takeoff running after these kids.
They had been gone at least 20minutes, they were so hot.
Well, when they came back, theywere looking for their suitcase

(07:23):
and I put them up on the stagedoor up there at the top of the
keel auditorium.
I said your, your suitcase isup there and you know, we took
them out of the street but theywere hot.
I mean, they were so mad atthese kids.
Oh, I bet throwing snowballswith rocks in them and that's.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
It's a different time , my friend.
Uh, back then it was adifferent time.
What year was that?
Do you, you remember?

Speaker 4 (07:43):
That was like 1987.
That's what.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
I was thinking it had to be in that area, nick.
We appreciate you coming on theshow this week.
My friend talking about theSICW Fan Fest If people want to
get tickets, all they have to dois go to SICWorg.
Is that correct?
Can I add a couple things here?
Yes, go ahead.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
We're going to have fan fest.
It starts at 10 am in themorning.
So we're going to have anautograph session.
Actually the friday night yes, saturday is going to be the big
one.
It starts at 10 o'clock andruns to about 4, 35 o'clock and
then the hall of fame starts atsix o'clock.
It's probably going to be overwith uh, between 7 and 7 30, and
then after that is the SICWKing Kong Bruiser Brody Memorial
Battle Royal.

(08:29):
So that's going to be awesome.
They've got a lot of guyscoming in and this is all
old-school wrestling.
This isn't this new stuff wherethey flip and flop and they're
all over the place.
This is old-school wrestling.
You don't get this anywhere, hardly anymore.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
I like the design of how you do the Hall of Fame and
the wrestling, because it's allin the same place.
Your seating area is around aring, or at least in the past.
I don't know exactly how itwill be this year, but if it's
like it was in the past, thering is in the room where the
Hall of Fame is actually takingplace, and it's just a cool vibe
.
That's what I've really likedabout this event.
Don't tell me you changed thatalready.

(09:07):
No, no, that'd be bad.
You're right, that was part ofthe great feel.
I've always seen people go wayout of their way to have this
elaborate event, when the truthis, put a wrestling ring in a
room, some tables and chairswhere people can sit down and
enjoy themselves, and you'llhave a huge turnout.
You've had one for the last twoyears and I fully expect that

(09:27):
we'll see it again this year.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Oh yeah, absolutely, that's the same layout.
Different hotel, but samelayout in a bigger place.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
I think with the new location there in St Louis at
that Hilton Inn, I think thatcrowd will triple this time.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Absolutely, Nick.
We've got to go, my friend, butwe will see you soon.
Take care.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Teddy.
Thank you for coming on, Nick, and you keep everything rolling
out there now.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Thank you.
If you want to know more aboutthe event here, it is right here
.

You know that's a catchy littletune.
Right there it sticks in myhead no it is not.
Hey look, I can fix the screen.
By the way, let me change thisup just a little bit, teddy, so
we're a little bit more in tunewith two of us here.
Well, maybe not.
There it goes All right.
All right, there's our originalscreen, all right?
All right, teddy, we got somequestions.

(11:26):
I want to get these in,obviously, and we got some.
There's a couple of things Iwant to do, though, before we
get started.
Uh, first of all, I got a videoI want to share with you.
Let me go to that.
This is one of our t-shirtwinners, which, by the way, if
your question is chosen by teddy, is the best question of the
show.
You get a free road trip afterhours t-shirt.

(11:48):
All you have to do.
You just simply got to bechosen by teddy at the end of
the show.
So Bryce Bordeaux was one ofour winners and he happened to
send this out and I shared it,and hopefully, bryce.
This is okay, but I'm going toshow it anyhow.
Here we go Of.

Speaker 6 (12:02):
On the Road, or Road Trip with Mac and Teddy.
Check it out.
Can you see that?
Got my limited edition RoadTrip with Mac and Teddy t-shirt.
Big shout out to Mac and Teddyfor sending me this.
They hooked me up with thisawesome t-shirt and there it is.

(12:23):
Look, there's hola, hola, hala,hala.
See Teddy Long, see Teddy.
And then there's Mac Davis overhere.
Kinda cool road trip afterhours with Mac Davis and Teddy

(12:44):
Long every Thursday at 6pmCentral Standard Time, so, uh,
or 7pm East Coast Time, causethey're on the East Coast,
they're in Georgia, yeah, sodoes anybody remember that?
All my wrestling fans in thehouse, do you remember
WrestleMania 23?
And this is the Mandela effecthere.

(13:04):
Teddy Long was the ringannouncer for Batista versus the
Undertaker.
Go back on Peacock, or it's onYouTube the full match and find
that, because it's on YouTube, the full match.
And find that because it's wildto see anyways, yeah, fun story
there, it is Bryce man.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
That was a cool piece there and I hope you don't mind
, I quit that and threw it up onthe screen.
But thank you very much for theshout out.
And you're much for theshout-out.
And you're welcome for thatT-shirt, my friend.
Anytime we can do that.
But, teddy, he brings upsomething that he asked about
last week and that was you beingthe ring announcer and you said
you don't remember this match.
You still don't remember thismatch at all.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
No, I don't.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Okay, I got something else for us to watch here.
This is fairly short, uh, justyou ring announcing the the
match that they're talking aboutnow.
We can't play the video, butyou, you can uh hear the audio
with the uh picture I got here.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
Here we go this match is for one fall and it's for
the world heavyweightchampionship, World Heavyweight
Championship.
And introducing first, he isthe World Heavyweight Champion,

(14:25):
the animal Batista, andintroducing the challenger he is
the phenom of the WWE, theUndertaker.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Does that jog anything in your mind?

Speaker 3 (14:39):
No, really I have to see it, because I don't know
whether I was a ring announceror whether I was the general
manager and I would just comeout and did it that night.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
You know, and that was the one thing that I will
say when it came to well, Idon't know what the hell that is
.
I'm sorry, teddy.
When it came to the match, Iwasn't sure if you were the ring
announcer, but I had thefeeling, from the clip that I
saw, that you were the generalmanager, and maybe you were just
out there, and it just sohappened that you got that

(15:13):
spotlight to announce that match.
I would imagine, though, youwould have remembered a
wrestlemania moment like thatbecause that's wrestleman and
the production on thatparticular match, when they came
out and you were in the ringand you got to watch both
batista and the undertaker'selaborate entrance man.
I would love to know how youfelt.
So I'm going to send thatentire match to you and see if

(15:34):
you can kind of read that alittle bit.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Oh yeah.
Yeah, I'd just like to see thatagain Now.
I remember the introduction now, but I'm just trying to figure
out.
Was it, you know, somethingspecial?
Or was I the GM that night?
And that's what Vince wanted meto do, wanted me to come out
and announce that match.
That's what it really was.
Because of my delivery, he knewI was going to, you know, do
that just exactly what he wanted.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Yeah, all right.
We got some questions here, teddy, and I'm going to get into
them before we run out of time.
We have one that I believe is.
Let me see if I can pull thisup real quick.
I saw it pop in here a secondago.
This is from Steve Morris.
Hey, steve.
It says hey fellows, what doy'all think about the long 10

(16:18):
counts and looking the other wayon AEW?
Now, teddy, you are a formerreferee.
What do you think about theextra long 10 counts and looking
the other way in so many caseswith the referees today?

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Well, I mean the 10 counts, the 10 count.
That's part of the rules, okay.
It's just that you know someguys.
They may take all night doingit.
You know one and you know two.
You know what I mean.
I think that's wrong.
I mean, if you're going tocount, let's get to it One, two.
You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
When you hit a championship count, I say that
you know I've heard differentpeople mention this that a
championship count is a littlebit different than the
traditional count.
Is that true?
No, no, no, ok, I was wondering, because I've always heard
people say that I'm like I don'tunderstand.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
You can make it, it's it's called drama.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
You know, it's my guess.
Yeah, make it.
It's.
It's called drama.
You know what I mean?
That's my guess.
Yeah, that's more about justhow you make it.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
You know, like the night.
I can give you an example thenight that, uh, uh, uh, god, I'm
trying to think of the guy'sname right now, but I'll get it.
But anyway, he pulled me intowell, drew mcintyre, and they
pulled me in.
He had me make, had me toreferee him and kofi I think
they had a match.
Then he pulled me up from thetable, put the referee shirt on

(17:37):
me and made me referee.
He thought I was going to befired.
So I got in there.
The first count, one, two.
He kicked out, and then thatbig one come and everybody
thought I was going to do it,but I'm like one two and I
stopped.
No, no, no, no, no.
That's the drama.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
And it takes that you know a lot of times, if you get
a bad referee in a match, itcan kill a match, can it not?

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Oh, I've killed one or two.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Okay, now wait a minute.
There's a story obviously inthere you got to share.
When was the time you may havekilled one.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
I think I somebody didn't kick out or I counted
them out or something, man.
But uh, it was my bad, but Igot confused and so I didn't
stop one, two, three, I justcounted them out.
Oh.
I screwed the whole finish up.
Did you catch hell for it?
Uh, more than hell.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Oh God, hoss, holding popping in a Hoss.
It's been a while since I'veseen you.
My friend, hope you're doingwell.
It's the same to you and Ithink you popped in and got
something else here, don't you?
Yeah, getting ready for the63-year-old outlaw to romp it
and stomp it again.
Yeah, we saw him down in Texas, teddy.
I don't know if you rememberHaas or not.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
Yeah, yeah, I remember.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Yeah, haas is one of them, boys, he's like longer in
the tooth, but we still lovethis thing called wrestling.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Just keep doing what you're doing, what it is my man.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Here's some questions for you.
Teddy Reggie in Georgia saysTeddy, who do you look forward
to seeing WrestleMania weekendin Vegas?

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Really nobody special .
You know what I mean.
But I look forward to seeing alot of the guys, some of them
I've worked with and I haven'tseen in a while, and some of the
new guys that are around andgirls.
So I just you know, whoever Isee, I'm always happy to see
them and wishing them, you know, great success.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
You ever hunt anybody ?
Has there ever somebody you'relike I've got to?

Speaker 3 (19:37):
No, not really, because you really can't do that
.
I mean, that's a real busy timeat WrestleMania, so you really
ain't got time for thatsocializing you know what I mean
.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Yeah, you can't go table to table and say hey to
everybody, but I'm sure thereare friends there that you're
like man.
I got to at least pat him onthe back.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
You can hit a guy right on the back while he's
talking and he'll know and justkeep right on going.
That's going.
You know that's the way to doit, man.
But, like I said, that's a realbig time at wrestlemania.
So I basically look forward toseeing a lot of guys that I
haven't seen before, like peopleI really special with, like cm
punk, you know guys like himyeah, braun breaker, I mean I
would love for you to uh get ahold of him.

(20:14):
I do want to talk to him too, because every time I get a
chance to see him I miss him.
But you know his father and hisuncle.
I worked with them back in theday, the Steiner brothers, you
know, with Butch Reed and Ron.
We had some great matches andso much great ha-ha, with Rick
taking the little tam off myhead, doing all kinds of stuff.
So we had so much fun back inthe day and I just want Bron to

(20:34):
know no disrespect, I want tojust say hello to him and let
him know you know what a greatjob he's doing.
So if ever they call and I goback or something, I'm going to
make sure I say something to him.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Pretty classy lady popping in saying hey, and
pretty classy lady, weappreciate you stopping by.
Also.
Dawn in Chattanooga, tennessee,is asking do you keep wrestling
memorabilia of any kind?
Are you a collector?

Speaker 3 (21:03):
No, not really.
I collect stuff, basically mystuff.
I still have some of my stuffthat I've had for years.
You know what I mean, but Ireally don't collect it anymore.
But, like I said, I got one ofthe suits that I wore back in
WCW.
I still have that.
I have the suit that I wore thefirst night.
I walked out on Vences TV withD'Lo Brown and I cut this promo

(21:27):
on Tommy Dreamer and well, I hada suede jacket.
They couldn't find me no suitthat day, so we went to
somewhere, some clothing store, and I ended up having to get
just a black pair of slacks, awhite shirt and a suede jacket
and that's what I wore out.
But I have that suede jacketright now.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Is there a piece that you kept that means something
to you, that I mean that youknow.
It's like I'm never getting ridof this, no matter what.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Well, yeah, I've got some suits.
I looked at that.
I did, you know, like my Hallof Fame suit.
I don't think I'll ever get ridof it.
I'll always keep it.
I have a bag that Steve Dr DeppWilliams God rest his soul that
he brought me back from Japan.
And you know, like I said, whenpeople do stuff for you that
they don't have to do, then Iknow they meant it.
So I do still have that bagright there.

(22:15):
That's something that I reallytreasure from Doc, because he
was really, really a good guy.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
Bill in New York wants to know do you miss being
on TV every week?
No, not at all.
I'm sure if you could do itwithout the travel and
everything else, would you stilllike to be on TV and performing
?

Speaker 3 (22:34):
Yeah, I'd like to do it if I didn't have to do all
the traveling.
But, like I said, I've come tothe point in my life now.
You know I had a great career,I had a great run, so I'm just
really just trying to enjoy therest of my life.
I love staying at home, sleeping in my own bed, but you
know I do have that legends dealwith them, so they may call me
to do something If they call me,fine.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
If they don't, I've taken the cape off.
Yeah, which is for a lot ofpeople, is very difficult to do.
Teddy seems to have no issuewith that at all.
He works when he wants to work.
That's nice to be able to dothat, dre, on Facebook.
Were you around for any of thewild WCW spring break shows in
Florida?
I guess that was Club La Vilaor something like that.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
No, I think I'd already.
I think I went to work forVince at that time.
I think I started working inNew York.
So no, I wasn't around for anyof that All right.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Foreman in Oregon has got name association.
We still got about five minuteshere, so this will be good.
If you got a question you wantto get the teddy, drop it in the
comments here and we'll throwit up on the screen.
But in the meantime, foremanand Oregon Name Association.
The first one, teddy, is theMiz.
What about it?
Just anything off the top ofyour head?

(23:55):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
The Miz yeah, another great guy.
You know me and him go way backtoo when he first started with
the real world.
I think that's what it was backin the day, yeah.
But yeah, I started with himway back a long time ago and me
and him are still good friends,so Demiz is a real nice guy.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
By the way, Tyka popping in here, an old friend
of mine from the Independent.
Wrestling Days, I'm sure she is, she is, she is, she is a
sweetheart, she really is no.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
Yeah, I'm sure she is .

Speaker 2 (24:25):
I might need to read these before you put them on the
screen.
Let's see Pretty classy lady.
Teddy, my brother met you yearsago and Adamsville in Atlanta,
and you gave him a Nexus chain.
I still have it.
Thank you for being so nice.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
All right, no problem .
Thank you very much and sayhello to him.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
All right, here's the other name in this name
association Bob Holly.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
Yeah, bob was a great guy too.
I enjoy working with him too.
I remember one time we didsomething on TV when I was doing
the white boy challenge.
And you know, bob Holly, youknow he ain't going to let you
be putting your hands on him.
But he told me he said, teddy, don't worry, but we're going to
get this thing over.
And he told me he said, when Igo into the announce table, you
come right over and just slapthe shit out of me and that's.

(25:11):
And you can see that on YouTube.
And that's what I did.
And as soon as I slapped him Istarted yelling see there a
cracker.
I just slapped a cracker.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
Could you?

Speaker 2 (25:25):
imagine doing that on TV today.
Huh, could you imagine doingthat on TV today?

Speaker 3 (25:30):
Well, the only way you could get away with it today
would just be entertaining.
I don't think people would eventake it as like they did back
then.
I don't think they'd take itserious.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Yeah, I don't think they do either anymore, but at
that time, though, let's seeTeddy, who was your favorite
manager.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Well, I'd have to say Gary Hart, probably a guy that
you guys don't remember, but Ihad a chance to ride with him
and I learned a lot from GaryHart and he was one of the great
managers of all time too.
And I'd have to say paul hayman.
You know he yells and screams alot, but other than that he's a
great guy man all right, here'sthe next name kurt angle uh,

(26:11):
kurt, uh had a chance to workwith him sometime too.
Uh, he was okay, oh, you know, never had a problem with him.
He used to bring these uh, Ican't think of the name of them.
There were some sausage, butthey were like beef sausage,
they were real healthy.
And he used to bring these Ican't think of the name of them,
they were some sausage, butthey were like beef sausage,
they were real healthy.
And he used to bring those toTV and he always would bring me
a little box of those.
So Kurt and I, you know wealways got along.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Here's one that surprises me.
I don't even know if we've evermentioned this name Tajiri.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
Oh wow, yeah, man, tajiri, he was.
Oh, what a nice guy.
I mean, I had so much fun withhim.
It was unbelievable.
Tajiri, yeah, we used to.
He acted like he couldn't drive.
You know, we caught him drivingone time.
Oh, we really laid it in on him.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Wait, wait, wait.
You got to back up a little bithere, so for a long time he
would fake like he could notdrive.
Yeah, drive, yeah.
Like you said.
He didn't have no drivinglicense, so that's why he could
just always sit in the car.
He never had to get behind thewheel in the driveway.

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So they caught him driving onetime, bruh duh, that all he
drove for the rest of the year.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
All right, we got time for two more here, tori
Wilson.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Tori Wilson, real nice lady, real nice lady to
work with.
Had a great time with her.
Worked with her Well, no, realgood, not a short time.
I think I did some stuff withher too, but she was always nice
, great attitude.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Now here's one I'm not sure about, but I'll throw
it out here anyhow, Sable.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
I never did work with her.
I think when I came in theysent me.
I started managing.
I went overseas and I think Iwas managing I can't remember
who it was, but anyway I knowthat Dudley's.
It was one of Bubba Ray's ideato put me in a wrestling match

(27:57):
or something and I ended upputting me in the ring in a six
man overseas.
But that's when last time Iseen Sable did and put me in a
wrestling match or something andI ended up putting me in the
ring in a six man overseas.
But that's when that last timeI seen Sable.
So I didn't.
I didn't never see her much.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
Yeah, I thought it may have been one of those times
when you crossed, you were in adifferent part of WWE.
At that time you weren't ageneral manager, were you?
No, yeah, I didn't think so.
Let's see, we have ScottGillespie.
Hey brother, how's it going?
He says do you think Heymanwill turn on Roman and Punk and
start being with Seth now?

Speaker 3 (28:29):
Well, you know, paul Heyman, he's a schemer, okay,
he's a man that you know.
You just have to be straight up, you can't trust him.
So and I think these guys seehim, guys, cm punk they've dealt
with him before and seth, andthose guys, they you know, they
know what they're up against, you know what I mean.
I'd like to say we, you know hewould do the right thing, but
you know, paul loves that money,so so you don't wave that money

(28:53):
around to him.
Man, you know money, you know, like I said, you'll make paul do
you know some things maybe hewouldn't ordinarily do.
But I always say every man'sgot a price.
But I hope Paul don't turn.
I hope he stays and does theright thing.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
I am curious to see where they go with this match
and him owing a favor now toSeth Rollins, and so he owes
everybody a favor at this point.
It does make it interesting, but I got to tell you, I think
that the real story and thematch that everybody wants to
see right now is Charlotte Flairand Tiffany Stratton.
Because of those promo battles.
You know where Tiffany lookedhorrible in the first battle,

(29:32):
but in the second battle shecame out and cut Charlotte off
at the knees.
What was your thought aboutthat?
We've talked this onSportskeeda, but we didn't talk
about it here.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
What was your thought , uh, of that uh exchange
between the two?
Well, like I said, you know, when it's real, it's real.
Yeah, yeah, okay, and you can.
You know, like I said, I mayhave been, some of it may have
been written, I don't know, butto me you know that somewhere,
somewhere, to me, that just camestraight off the cuff.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Yeah, I think it was written.
I agree with you.
I do think that it was writtento a point, but at the very end
of that promo, things switchedup and you could feel it when it
happened.
Now, one of the problems thatTiffany has is that she tends to
try to remember so much thatshe just blurts it out one after
the other in a quick patterninstead of breathing and giving

(30:21):
it time.
Uh, and that's what I can tellthat it's being scripted.
But at the very end she wasn'thaving that issue, she was just
letting loose, and when she didthat, that promo got real.
And the interesting part ofthat to me was they made that
match relevant now hey, I, I'veseen it and I love it, yep all
right, teddy, we got've got topick a winner here real quick.

(30:43):
Let me just make sure I'm notmissing something, because I
think I may have another onehere.
Yep, we've got one more here, teddy, this is Curly man.
Hey, teddy, was that youdressed up at the circus in the
Crash Holly 24-7 Hardcore Matchagainst the Mean Street Pse,
dressed as clowns?
Yes, that was me oh, you gottatell me about this, because I

(31:04):
don't remember this.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Tell me about that, what happened and how you got
involved in this teddy uh, well,if I can remember, they just
had me with the referee shirt on, but I had the the clown nose
and all the wig and all thatstuff on, okay, so it was like I
think it was at a carnival.
They had a fair or somethinggoing on there, and that's where
it all took place.
At Whose idea was this?

Speaker 2 (31:25):
Vince, of course.
It was Of course who we got fortonight for the best question.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
That gentleman right there that just asked me about
being the clown Was I dressed upin the clown suit.
That's him.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
Send him a shirt All right, curly man, get with me,
