Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome to Robin's Nest, the empowerment podcast
with nourishment for the mindand spirit.
Welcome to the Nest.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Welcome to Robin's Nest.
I'm Robin, your empowermentcoach.
Robin's Nest.
I'm Robin, your empowermentcoach.
As I begin to think about someof the things I'm going through
in my life, some of the thingsthat we're all going through in
our lives, I begin to thinkabout my purpose and what was I
even born for?

(00:39):
And I think sometimes we seekfor our purpose all of our lives
.
We're wondering what am I herefor?
What am I supposed to fulfill?
But one thing about purpose itis what you would do for free.
Think about anything that youwould do and you wouldn't even
have to get paid for it.

(01:00):
It's automatically in you.
You look at different designsand you automatically come up
with the concept.
You pick up a pencil and youbegin to draw and the art is
beautiful.
That is your purpose and I canuse the term pregnant with it,
and that's not limited to women.

(01:21):
But we all have dreams on theinside of us that we need to
push out.
You're pregnant with it.
It's a seed.
It was planted deep inside youand it is growing.
Oftentimes we ask ourselves andwe're seeking what is my purpose
in life?
But it's that thing that kicksevery once in a while to let you

(01:44):
know I'm still here.
I'm waiting for you to get inthe right position, connect with
the right people.
I'm waiting for you to make upyour mind that it's time to
fulfill your purpose.
I know life has happened andobstacles come in your way to
prevent you from fulfilling yourpurpose, but it's time for you

(02:05):
to get in the birthing positionso that you can deliver your
dreams to the world.
There are people waiting tohear your voice.
There are people waiting toread your book.
There are people waiting foryou to encourage them.
They are waiting for you tostart that business.
They're waiting for you toencourage them.
They are waiting for you tostart that business.
They are waiting for you toopen that restaurant.
We have too many things thatcome in our way to prevent us

(02:28):
from bringing forth the verything that can change our very
lives, because it's our purposeand it is what we were actually
put on this earth to do.
Your assignment hasn't changed.
You have a natural talent todecorate.
You have a natural talent todecorate.
You have a natural talent tosing.
You have a natural talent todraw.

(02:48):
Pick that back up.
I know roadblocks have popped upin your life and, as people say
, life is lifing and things comeup.
Things hit your pocket.
So financially, you're not ableto fulfill the dream or start
that business.
But it's not too late for youto start planning again.
It's not too late for you tostart writing your book, even if

(03:10):
it starts out just as a journal.
Go ahead and draw out the plansfor that invention.
It's not too late for you toget that degree.
It's not too late for you tobegin to fulfill the purpose
that you were created for.
I don't care if the dream seemstoo big.
Matter of fact, that's probablyan indication that it's what
you're supposed to do.
I don't care if you think thatyou are not capable of pushing

(03:34):
it out.
If you were not capable, itwould not be there.
Your dream isn't dead.
The gifts and talents that youwere born with is all that you
need to succeed.
I know you feel the pressure andit's like giving birth to a
natural baby.
The delivery may not becomfortable.
You feel the squeeze, but thepressure is necessary.

(03:58):
The pulling of it is necessaryin order to give birth to it.
Get around people that aredoing what you want to do.
Get yourself a midwife that canhelp you push out your purpose.
You are overdue.
It is time for you to deliverand, just like a baby, it will
grow.
You'll begin to feed yourdreams the right nourishment.

(04:21):
You will have to feed yourdreams things that will help
your passion grow.
You're pregnant with it andsomewhere deep on the inside of
you, your purpose won't let yourest.
Oftentimes, when women are aboutto deliver, they get
uncomfortable.
They can't be still, they feelit in their back, they feel it

(04:42):
everywhere they go, they can'tsleep, they can't rest.
They feel the pressure and theyhave to carry the baby because
it's almost time to deliver andso it's not comfortable.
You may feel the pressurepulling, you might feel like
things are getting harder, butthat means that it's time for it

(05:03):
to come out.
It's not time for you to stop.
You can't stop this.
It is something that will notlet you rest.
It's something that keepspopping back up in your memory.
It keeps coming up in your mind.
You keep hearing things thatprompt you to say, yes, I'm
supposed to do that.
Oh, I was going to write a book, but I never started.
Oh, I can cook.
My grandmother told me that Icould cook.

(05:24):
She taught me how to make theserecipes, but it's time for the
restaurant.
It may just start with youcatering from your home, but
it's time to start again.
You feel the pressure of it.
You feel it kicking.
It's prompting you that yourdream is still alive.
It may just be a flutter.
It may just be that flutteringthere that's just saying I'm

(05:46):
here.
If you will just feed me, I'llstart growing.
If you'll just start gettingaround the right people and let
them help you begin to givebirth, get somebody that can
pour into you.
Get somebody that can show youthe way that you can give birth
to this thing.
Don't give up just because it'shard.
Don't give up because you feelcontractions.
Don't give up because you feelsomething pushing you.

(06:09):
Yes, it's supposed to push.
It can't come out withoutpushing.
It can't come out withoutpressure.
It can't come out without beingdifficulty.
And so the dreams that we have, that it's our purpose that
wants to push forth.
It wants to come out, and it'stime for you to stop letting

(06:30):
life put the obstacles and theroadblocks up.
It's time for you to stopallowing people to speak in your
ear and tell you you can't doit.
Yes, you can.
If you couldn't, it wouldn't bethere.
If you couldn't, it wouldn't bethere.
If you couldn't, it wouldn'tkeep coming back, it wouldn't
keep kicking, it wouldn't keepreminding you that I'm still
there.
That is your indication that itis your assignment.

(06:53):
So, in this nest, we're goingto get our assignment back.
In this nest, we're going toget our dreams back.
We're going to get our purposeback.
Maybe, in this nest, we'regoing to get our dreams back.
We're going to get our purposeback.
Maybe you're supposed to bedoing a podcast.
Maybe you're supposed to be ontelevision.
You always wanted to be anactor.
You always wanted to be anactress.
You always wanted to be amusician.
You always wanted to be asinger.
What happened to your dream?

(07:14):
What happened to your purpose?
It's time to push it out.
It's time to feed it, get itready, nourish it, let it grow
and give birth and bless theworld, because there are people
waiting for your purpose to givebirth.

(07:35):
It's time to get in position todeliver.
This is Robin's Nest.
