On this episode of ROCK DOWN SOUTH, we had the pleasure of speaking with Dusty Huggins from the southern rock band The Ides of June. And I was super excited to talk to these guys. Not only do they have great tunes, but they are actually from our backyard here in Atlanta! So of course, I’m going to have a soft spot for them and any band from Georgia. Dusty and I talk all about how the band started, how they got their name and their interesting southern rock bluesy and slightly psychedelic sound. We also talk all about the brand-new album “Rising Tide” and discuss some of my favorite tracks from it.
