Rolling for Recipes

Rolling for Recipes

This home cooking podcast is all about a random reality cookbook & recipe review game created by a family of home cooks to bring more creativity, fun, and exploration to their home cooking. Cooks take turns rolling dice each week to choose a random "cookbook of the week" from a vast home library of over 300 volumes. Players each prepare a recipe from the selected book to taste, rate & review. Join home cooking advocate and young-at-heart grandma Lubelle McDoobie each week as she regales listeners with tales from the Rolling for Recipes game. She also shares cookbook and recipe reviews, recipe modifications, and sage wisdom, all delivered with humor and love. Lubelle's goal is to entertain, inspire and encourage home cooks. So, if your cooking could use the warm, funny, guiding hand of a real-life grandma, tune in weekly to see what's cooking. Visit rollingforrecipes.com and roll, cook, repeat!

Released a week late due to a misadventure at the airport with a laptop, this episode explores the cooking school classic textbook Garde Manger- The Art and Craft of the Cold Kitchen by the Culinary Institute of America. Lubelle shares a brief chef's bio and recommends a handy and unusual kitchen gadget/helper idea.

Don't rely on Lubelle for the correct pronunciations of French words, though! It's a silly tragedy.

    Love Trapped

Former Bachelor Clayton Echard’s casual one-night fling turned into a paternity nightmare. When the news broke about the scandal, no one believed Clayton at first. He was a reality TV star, and an unpopular one at that. Clayton found himself trying to prove the truth, while trapped in a web of lies, manipulation, and threats. He would soon discover he was not the only one. At its core, this is a story about who you believe and why. It’s an epic battle that would take a group of strangers, citizen sleuths from across the world, to crack the case and finally hold someone accountable. New episodes of Love Trapped are released every Thursday, starting February 26th, 2026.
