We're your friendly neighborhood gypsies.
I'm Paulina and I'm Jez, and weare here with your tarot
reading for the week of August11th 2025.
And we're going to do ourclassic three card spread that
we've been getting into latelyfor our first times and now our
second time.
The king of cups isrepresenting love, the page of

swords is here to representmoney, and then death is our
overall guidance.
What are you feeling about theking of cups and love, paulina?

Speaker 1 (00:42):
I feel, in general, cups are pretty positive.
So the king of cups isrepresenting this kind of
masculine energy surroundingyour life in general, and
sometimes it could even beyourself, but the king of cups
is someone that is full ofprosperity, and I also feel like

it represents good luck ingeneral.
So if you have been feelingdown, I would say there will be
ultimately love coming in yourdirection in the form of some
kind of masculine energy, evenif it's your, but that's kind of
how I view it.
I also feel like it's aboutjust attraction in general.

So whenever there's that kingenergy, it's about attracting
energy to you, and so that'sbasically how I feel it, and I
would also recommend you justleading with care and empathy,
kind of, as you move forward andnavigate.

However it is that you wantlove in your life.

I feel like the King of Cups ishere because you've been doing
that, reflecting on how you'rereally feeling, and now you're
becoming more expert inunderstanding your emotions and

emotional intelligence andkindness to do good things in

your romantic relationships oreven family relationships.

feel like this is about being creative and doing
something financially that canbenefit you in that creative way
, and I also feel like money ismy love language Me too.
I love hustling, I love makingyou know I love getting other

people paid 100, and that's whywe're such good friends, because
we know what you gotta do and II think it really represents I
I what you have to do in general, and for this week I feel also
it is a good follow up Like weekbefore was more about figuring

it out, planting the seeds, andnow it's about basically
starting the hustle.
So the opportunities are there,but they, the opportunities,
don't mean shit If you don'ttake a hold, make the phone
calls, do whatever you have todo, like you know, that's kind
of I believe that's what it'sabout, and it is challenging and

it's not easy.
You know the hustle and bustle,life is horrible, but it's also
rewarding, um to a degree, andso that's what this week
requires for money.
It requires you to get out ofyour comfort zone and suffer
just a little bit.

Yeah, and you might need to learn some new skills
and they might be reallyintellectually fun and
challenging in a good way, butit's a time to put yourself out
you know, like you're sayingoutside of your comfort zone and
see what you can learn and whatyou can master, and be okay
with making some mistakes.
That will ultimately really payoff because they'll teach you
something valuable.
It's a good time to beexperimental and especially if

there's anything that you'vebeen wanting, like any courses
or anything you want to beenwanting to enroll in, or any
books you've been wanting toread, anything that will help
you progress.
It's time to nerd out, roll upyour sleeves, nerd out, get in
there.

And then death is our overallguidance, and I love the death
card, like you know.

I don't think there's anyreason to be scared of any cards
, but what are you feeling withthe death card for our guidance
for the week of August 11th?

feel like it is a for sure sign to let go of whatever
is done and embrace whateverelse you want.
Embrace whatever the futurething is.
It's a huge transformationalcard.
It represents a total death ofthe version of you.

And for it to be in theguidance card, I love that.
Like it's not specific, it'snot specific to love, it's not
specific to money, it's notspecific to purpose, like it's
literally specific to your soul,like it's just huge
transformation.
Let go out with the old andwith the new.
And just because I have alittle bit of that, like you
know, I don't want to scareanybody or anything, but just

because it's in my lineage, okay, I feel like death can
sometimes represent death.
So if it comes in as a guidancecard, maybe it represents like
needing to be careful, alsoputting an extra emphasis on
loving your loved ones as wellas loving yourself healthy, like
I feel like it should draw someattention to life and purpose

(06:25):
and that's okay.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, you know it's really interesting because I
don't always read the death cardas death.
But a few months ago a lovedone was asking me you know, how
seriously should they be takingtheir high blood pressure?
And I drew the death card and Iwas like, babe, you got to take
it serious, 10 out of 10.
Go get your meds.
And so you know.
Of course there's like.

(06:47):
You know, there's death asactual death, but there's also
death as a metaphor and youmight feel like a little snake
shedding their skin.
Right now you don't want to hangon to anything that no longer
serves you.
And now we're at the end ofMercury retrograde and you
probably have uncovered somethings that you're ready to move
on from and uncovered sometruths.

(07:08):
And the death card is allowingyou to release and compost,
because when things die, theydon't just disappear, they are
reclaimed by the earth and theycreate new growth, and so even
endings are beginnings.
And if this card is speaking toyou in the sense of like, you
feel like you're in a little bitof an underworld or in between
death and rebirth, like that'sOK, that's where you're supposed

to be.
You will come out on the otherside when you're ready.
